CHAPTER 3:- World God Part 3:- THE FIGHT
He was ready for the battle. Many people would probably consider him a fool for trying to fight a world enemy alone but he had a plan. As in cue another set of traps were activated and loud explosions were heard but these ones were set up for the players and it worked flawlessly. Everyone except for Momonga in the area was dead.
" HAHAHA, Only one left " The world enemy laughed. The enemy still had 510 HP left.
Momonga activated the six siege golems hidden by his guild. Six hills in the area started shaking and the trees on them fell down as six stone structures stood up. Every golem had red eyes and red lava flowing from them. Three of them started to approach the titan as commanded by Momonga and three of them remained standing at their position.
[ Summon High-tier undead: Overlord ]
Momonga summoned eight Overlord lvl.120 circling the titan behind the golems that were standing.
[ Summon Primal Fire Elemental ]
He then summoned 2 fire Elemental of lvl. 136 near the had exhausted all his high-level summons and commanded them to attack the titan with long-range attacks.
Eight Overlord's started to barge the titan with 11th and 12th tier spells. The Elementals started with the long-range fire magic.
The titan swung his gigantic purple arms and hit one of the three approaching golems.
' Bam ' a loud sound echoed. Lots of cracks appeared on the golem's body and its health dropped from 180 to 95. The golem's started to attack the titan as well but they hardly dealt any damage.
Momonga deployed a massive magic circle bigger than the super tier spell's circle but bright golden in color. It was the circle of the grand tier spell, the color indicated the type. Yellow was for summons.
[ Summon Ultimate Caretaker ]
This grand tier spell was only available to summoners and summoned one Seraphim caretaker of lvl.160, an angel of the highest order in exchange of 10,000 one minute, the circle broke and an angel with six wings appeared and it continuously chanted ''holy, holy, holy''.
He ordered the angel to attack. The angel flew towards the titan and started to attack the target.
[ Extend Magic: Eagle eye archer ]
This was a 12th tier spell that greatly increased the piercing power of the arrows shot by the caster, allowed the caster to wield a bow, and increased the accuracy stat of the bow.
Momonga took out the Bukubukuchagama's bow from his inventory and created arrows from his vast mana pool and started to snipe the titan. Although his aim was not that good the titan was so big that it was hard to miss it.
As he continued sniping, he saw the first golem getting shattered to pieces and then the titan just stood there for a few seconds. Momonga tensed up as he saw two translucent beings appeared near the world enemy. They were the astral summons. The two summons started to attack one of the Golems.
Momonga changed his target to the summons. And just as his prediction, the summons died in just two shots. They have low HP but high damage output. But why does a brawler has summons? He kicked the ground and snipped the other astral body. But he missed too many shots, another golem just felt down.
Momonga ordered the remaining three golems to approach the enemy. The other three golems started to move towards the titan. He continued sniping till the spell ended.
He took out mana crystals and broke them in his hands to restore his mana. He then took out three-hour glasses used to quicken the super tier spell.
[ Mass Mana restore ] - ( super tier Spell used to restore mana of up to 4 targets )
He cast it and quickened it using one hourglass.
[ Extend Maximize Magic - Thunder cloud ]
Massive dark clouds appeared above the enemy and loud thunders were heard. This spell was one of the spells he took from Ulbert and repeatedly cast greater thunder but had a very low accuracy but for such a large target it didn't miss once.
[ Triplet Maximize Magic - Meteorite swarm ]
Loads of meteorite appeared out of thin air in the upper atmosphere hit the target area. The entire area around was filled with large craters. The HP of the titan fell down to 360.
[ Triplet Maximize Magic - Natural calamity ]
Lightning, fire, water, and rock hit the target one after the other. This spell was also another one he took from his friend Ulbert. He cast [ Mass Mana restore ] to again restore the mana of the remaining four Overlord's.
[ Summon mid-tier Undead - Skeleton archers ]
20 lvl. 96 skeleton archer appeared out of thin air. Although they would not do much damage this was a precaution if golems died, to protect the Overlords.
Momonga then took out one ring and wore it in his right hand's middle finger and raised the hand above and said " wish upon a falling star, fulfill my wish and reset the day ".
The chant was just to look cool in the live broadcast, he had to select one of the wishes from many wishes displayed on the console. 'Reset day' was a new wish added in the latest update and did exactly what was implied.
[ Summon Super-tier Undead - Nightwalker ]
Instead of summoning 8 high-tier undead, Momonga combined them into 2 Super-tier and spent 100,000 XP each to summon lvl. 150-night walkers. He was on the verge of leveling down.
Two black dense spheres appeared in front of him. Spheres slowly turned into two giant black creatures. A dark aura dripped from them. These undead summons were highly devastating. Their dark magic can't be learned by living players and even the undead without special classes can't cast these spells.
Momonga ordered them to attack the titan. Both of them raised their hands towards the world enemy.
[ Circle of death ]
One of the summon cast, a dark circle appeared below the world enemy. Large amounts of dark clouds appeared on the enemy. It was trying to escape the circle.
[ Summon Primal Earth Elemental ]
Momonga summoned two earth Elementals to hold the enemy inside the circle along with the two golems left.
[ Extend Maximize Magic - Dark clouds ]
Dark clouds appeared above the dark circle. The enemy started to take loads of damage.
[ Triplet Maximize Magic - Finger of Death ]
World enemy's health dropped to 150. A message flashed before Momonga's eye.
"" The Titan of Chaos has entered into rage mode. ""
The titan raised both his arms, curled his palms, and swung on the last golem. The golem got destroyed in a single hit.
Momonga knew that the earth Elementals wouldn't survive for long either. This was the time to enact the second phase of the plan. Make the enemy run in circles using middle-tier undead.
He pulled the fire Elementals further away and waited for the earth ones to be destroyed.
[ Summon Middle-tier Undead:- Iron ]
He summoned a few in one direction first then in the other as the Overlord's and Nightwalkers completely bombarded the titan with spells. It kind of looked funny as a big titan just ran in circles trying to kill such low-level undead. When Momonga ran out of the limit. He used already summoned low-level archers to move forward and the whole situation repeated although a little faster this time.
Fire Elementals just stood as they didn't have any spells that could be fired at this range. They were sacrificed at last when all his middle-tier undead were killed.
Titan health dropped to 50. Another message flashed before Momonga.
"" The titan of Chaos has entered engraving rage mode ""
- All types of damage will be halved.
WTF? Momonga thought. This was a completely new development that Momonga didn't accommodate in he knew that there will be rage mode but this was new. He stomped his feet in anger. As all the tanks were dead now, the titan ran towards one of the overlords and raised his feet over the overlord, and brought it down with full force. Overlord died in one hit as it didn't have much HP nor much Physical defense.
Momonga knew all his Overlords will die like this even the Nightwalkers will only take one hit now that titan was in engraving rave which increased the damage by 50% to all types of foe.
[ Greater Teleportation ]
Momonga teleported a little away from his summons and the titan and started to look in his inventory for something and picked out a red-colored crystal from the inventory. It was the modifier crystal.
A grand-tier spell was similar to a super-tier spell, but there was a critical flaw in it as all the buff, debuff and damaging spells indicated the location of the spell being cast ten seconds before the spell activation and the color indicated the type. It meant that all the players just teleported away from the location the damaging or debuff spell was cast beforehand. So not many magic casters had direct damage spells in their limited(10) arsenal of grand spells. But Momonga had one.
He deployed the magic circle. A massive magic circle with black color appeared around Momonga. Massive strange letters appeared in between the circles and then disappeared in between the circles. The titan had killed all his summons and now ran towards him. His health had dropped to broke the modifier crystal and cast the spell.
[ Quicken Grand Magic - Extinction Ray ]
More Magic circles appeared around him and then a massive dark circle appeared above the titan. A massive dark ray appeared from the dark circle. It looked like darkness consumed all the light near the arena. It engulfed the enemy and it screamed as if in pain. The HP of the enemy dropped to 0 immediately. This was the power of the spell with the highest damage in the game except for the god or class special spells.
Generally quickening of the grand-tier spell isn't possible even with cash shop items. But there was a bug present in the game that hadn't been found out by developers. Suzuki Satoru had accidentally found out, that the grand-tier spell could be quicken by modifier crystal. He wanted to hide the fact but saving their main base and treasury was more important to him.
Momonga roared on top of his lungs in front of the fallen titan corpse. This screamed that marked the rise of the Ainz ooal gown Mk2'.
A massive message flashed before Momonga in bold letters. He had completely forgotten why they were trying to kill the world enemy on their own in the first place.
"" Congratulations, You were the one that dealt the last blow to a world enemy ' Titan of Chaos '. Your title and class of god will be awarded to you shortly. ""
He finally relaxed but this was not the end, it was just a new beginning. He looked at the timer and saw that it had already been 12 o'clock at midnight. The whole fight went for about 2 to 3 hours. He was tired and had to get to the office the next day, so he logged out for now.
