"Why so down in the dumps?" Klaus said to me.
"No reason."
"You have not made one sarcastic remark since you woke up?" Elijah said.
"Fine." I said.
"When we were in New Orleans I had an affair with this witch. I don't know how but before I was daggered she said she was pregnant with my child. We did test and it was my child. I just wondered what happened to her and them…"
"Well she won't be alive."
"No, I loved her so, we found a way to slow her body clock down."
"So let me get this straight. You have got a child out there and we never knew about it?" Rebekah said.
"I didn't really get a chance to share the information now did I!"
"Well, lets go find them!" Finn said.
"Okay what was her name?" Elijah said.
"Lucy Clare."
"Sorry? Say what now?" Elijah said.
"Lucy Clare."
"Well she's alive alright. I dated her for five years and I had to focus on other things." He looked at Klaus. "She had two daughters Sadie and Hanna but I had no idea they were your children or I wouldn't have left."
"Alright, Elijah where are they now?"
"We lived in Seattle, maybe there. Unless, she moved."
"How'd you even meet her?"
"They never got on with Lucy though. They argued a lot, I got involved once and Hanna ripped my heart out. I didn't get on with either of them, they were very angry." He said. "Thinking about it she was a lot like Klaus. Angry."
"Thanks." He said.
"This is where we lived…" We had travelled from Virgina to Seattle.
"What the hell happened?" I said.
"Wait. Joan! Joan!" I ran across the road.
"Your back… a bit late now Elijah."
"Why what happened, Joan?"
"Lucy, she was murdered."
"What? How?"
"Stabbed in the neck with a piece of glass. The house started to stink about a week ago, they said she had been dead for atleast 48 hours. Don't know how those girls went without food."
"Hanna-"
"No Elijah not them, they left about four years ago. Essie and Izzy." Elijah looked at her.
"As I said a bit late."
"But where are they?"
"All I know is Hanna and Sadie were here a few days ago with them."
"We need to find those girls." He said to us.
"Who are Essie and Izzy?" Rebekah said.
"Lucy had two other children which she didn't have when we were together."
"I know a witch in Seattle." Klaus said. Elijah ran his hand down his face.
Kol went to knock.
"No can't do it."
"Oh move." Rebekah knocked on the door.
"One second." Someone yelled.
"Elijah?"
"Hi Han. Can we come in?"
She opened the door for us all.
"Sorry aabout the mess, guess you went to Seattle to find Mum." She said.
"You've got some paint." Rebekah said pointing to her cheek.
"Why'd you leave your Mum?"
"Let say we had a big disagreement." Hanna said.
"You always had a disagreements! Why was this time any different."
"Come on." We stood in the kitchen.
"We wanted her to tell you about them and she told us she wouldn't." Hanna said.
"You know how angry we were that we didn't have a Dad." She grabbed a cloth to wipe her face.
"This is Kol. Your Dad." She spat her water out she was drinking. "Did you know who I was?"
"Not a lot of Michaelson's out there, Elijah." Sadie told us.
"Why did she lie to me?"
"Why did she do anything." Sadie said. A little girl walked towards us.
"Can I have something to eat Hanna?"
"Yeah Essie." She looked in the cupboard.
"I'll get some healthy snacks…" She handed her some choclaate. "Give one to your sister."
"Thank you."
"She looks like she's just met you?" Elijah said.
"Mum wouldn't let us see them if we left. They don't know who we are… they just about left the foster home with us. You're just much as a stranger to them as I am."
"Where were you?" Sadie asked me.
"Sorry?" I said.
"Why didn't you come looking for us?" Hanna said.
"Um…" I looked at Elijah.
"You know we can't die, but we can be put to sleep. Like a coma." Elijah said. "That's where he was."
"So she was right, we really couldn't meet you." Sadie laughed.
"When can we go home?" Izzy asked.
"Iz, come on. Show me your picture." Sadie said. Hanna put her arm over her eyes.
"It's a bit hard to tell a kid there Mom has died." Hanna said.
"Do you want me to take them?"
"I love them but I can't do this Elijah." Hanna looked at him.
"Yeah. I'll take them with me."
"Can um. Can we come see them?"
"Of course." He said.
"We'll come with you to settle them in."
"Course." Elijah smiled.
Sadie
I was at the park with Jaz pushing her on the swing.
"Sadie Michaelson… thought that was you." Damon!
"This is where you live?" I gasped.
"Daddy!" Jaz looked at Damon.
"Yeah. Well saves me a trip next month huh? Why re you here?" Damon picked her out of the swing.
"My sister's Dad live here."
"Yeah and who's that?" He tickled Jaz.
"Elijah."
"Course, it is." Damon said.
"You know him?"
"Unfortunatly for me. Were you going to call me and tell me about y Dad?"
"What about him?"
"That he lives here?"
"What? No-"
"The coffins… your Dad." He looked at me.
"Damon? What are you doing in a park?" A girl with dark hair said. "Why are you holding a baby?"
"Yeah Damon?"
"Shut up Sadie." He said. "Just go to the boarding house, I'll be there in a minite."
"Oh no. You spend some time with your daughter and I can go spend time with my Dad."
Damon
I walked in with Jaz on my hip and the buggy.
"Did you kidnap a baby?" Stefan said.
"Funny." I said.
"No she is my daughter. You know when I leave every month for a weekend it's to see her. Her Mum's in town with her sister's."
Elena and Stefan stared at me.
She started screaming to be put down.
"Wait. Wait. How can you have daughter? And how did I not know about this?" Stefan said.
"Because no one does Stefan. She's different. Her Mum's a witch and a vampire."
"How is this even possible?"
"Her Dad is an Original vampire."
"Wait, your daughter is a Michaelson?" Stefan said.
"Possibly." I said.
"So what is she Michaelson or Salvatore?" Elena said.
"Alvatore." Jaz tried to say her name.
"Her speech needs work." I sratch my neck.
"I need a drink." Stefan said.
I rolled my eyes. Jaz was playing with Elena's hair.
"You're retty." Jaz said trying to say pretty.
"Thank you. So are you." She smiled at Jaz.
"So how you been Jazzy." I asked.
"Mommy's been busy."
"With what?" I asked.
"Essie and Izzy's Mommy died." I looked at her. "Is my Mommy going to die? Mommy said people sometimes go somewhere else."
"No, Jaz. Mommy's not going anywhere."
"What about you?"
I sighed and kissed her forehead. "No, I'm staying right here."
I knocked on the door.
"Sadie in?" I said to Elijah.
"Where's Jaz?" Sadie asked as I walked into the Michaelson Mansion.
"At home."
"Well bring her here."
"No."
"What the hell?" Sadie said. "Bring her back."
"Let me think, no. She's staying with me."
"Sorry why would she stay with you?" Elijah asked.
"Jaz's my daughter and she asked me if I was going to die and no way is she staying here Sadie."
"You see her once a month!"
"Yeah and who's faults that!"
"Damon don't do this." Sadie said to me.
"Take me to court Sadie, because she is staying with me!" I said.
BOOM! WILL SADIE GET HER DUGHTER BACK?
