Here's chapter 2 everybody.

Chapter 2: Picked Up The Phone.

It's been two months since Wes and Jazz's wedding as well as Danny and Dani's skirmish with the unknown ghosts. In the past two months, not much has happen and neither Tucker and Jack couldn't figure out the devices that the two unknown ghosts had. Until then, as long as nothing major has happen, Danny and Dani won't have to worry too much and could just focus on those they care about. Unknown to them however, it's been 8 months since the defeat of Gandr and the two of them meeting their future kids, but Clockwork had erased their memories, along with Sam and Jacob's, of this encounter and the time stream was restored. Danny and Dani were confused during those few days after but they eventually brush it off and continue on with their lives. Danny was currently on a date with Sam. 30 years old chronologically but 25 years old biologically, Sam has been more supportive to Danny ever since she was resurrected 9 months ago. Danny has been also a little overprotective of her but she reassure him that she will be okay and that he will not loose her. It took a while for Danny to calm down and Sam couldn't blame him either. To see Sam turn into dust before his eyes and went through 5 years of depression before she and half the population were resurrected. So Sam couldn't be annoyed of Danny's overprotective behavior. Anyway, Sam was taking a walk with Danny at the park. She was now wearing a sleeveless purple top, midriff exposed, with the DP logo on it, black jeans with some rips, black combat boots, long black gloves, a black choker, and the Fenton phones. She also straighten her long hair and she dyed the bottom half purple in a ombre fashion. She was currently holding Danny's hand as they continue to walk.

"It's nice to have the relaxation." Sam said.

"More nice that nothing major has happen since Thanos' defeat." Danny said.

"Yeah, ever since... you know, I've seen life differently now." Sam said.

"Same." Danny said.

Danny then look at Sam and admire her beauty.

"And may I say you look very beautiful today, Sam." Danny said.

"Thanks, Danny." Sam said.

"You're welcome." Danny said.

"Looking forward to the Fourth of July party." Sam said.

"Same. I just hope nothing can ruin it." Danny said.

"Don't jinx it." Sam said with a chuckle.

"Right." Danny said with a chuckle.

"So, where's Dani? I didn't see her at your place." Sam asked.

"She and Jacob are going to Minneapolis, mainly to go to the airport. Don't know when they'll be back." Danny said.

Suddenly, Danny's phone rang and noticed it was Jack calling him.

"Hey, Dad, what's up?... What do you mean?... Okay, I'm on my way." Danny said before he hangs up.

"What happened?" Sam asked.

"I don't know but he said it's pretty urgent." Danny said.

"Well we better see what he wants." Sam said.

Meanwhile, at the Minneapolis Saint Paul International Airport at Minneapolis, Dani and Jacob were at the arrival gate as Jacob's cousin is coming for a visit. 26 years old chronologically but 21 years old biologically, Jacob has been more supportive to Dani ever since he was also resurrected 9 months ago. Dani has been having nightmares of Jacob's dusting as well as Vlad due to her PTSD, but he reassure her that everything will be okay and he's been comforting her whenever she gets nightmares late at night. Jacob felt bad for Dani and couldn't blame her after everything she went through and not just because of his dusting but her early life too. Anyway, Dani and Jacob were waiting for Jacob's cousin's flight to park at the terminal. Dani had met Jacob's cousin, as well as her brother, a few times before and learned that she too was a victim to Thanos' Decimation. After a few minutes, the flight arrived before the passengers started entering the terminal. One of them was a young woman who had long brown hair, blueish-grayish eyes, fair skin, and wearing a red sweater with red trimmings and a black tanktop underneath, her midriff was exposed which reveal her bellybutton ring, a brown belt on her blue jeans and black combat boots. The woman then saw her cousin Jacob and Dani waiting for her.

"Jacob!" the woman called.

"Brooke!" Jacob greeted.

Jacob and his cousin, Brooke Davenport, greeted each other with a hug.

"I see you shaved your beard off. How are you, Jacob?" Brooke asked, which Jacob chuckled.

"Yeah, it was time to shave it off. As for your question, I'm doing alright. How was your flight?" Jacob said.

"It was alright." Brooke said before looking at Dani. "Nice to see you again, Danielle."

"Nice to see you too, Brooke. And you can call me Dani." Dani said with a smile.

"How are you, Dani?" Brooke said.

"I'm doing alright. Not much going on with the ghosts and all that." Dani replied.

"That's good. Oh, Jacob told me your sister got married. I want to say congratulations." Brooke said.

"Thank you. I'll let Jazz know." Dani said with a smile.

"How's Aunt Jennifer, Jacob?" Brooke asked.

"Mom's doing alright. She's looking forward to see you. How's Damian. Have you heard from him?" Jacob asked.

"Dad got him transferred to Tyndall Air Force Base. He's now with a top squadron." Brooke replied.

"That's great. Well, we better get your bags and then head back to Amity Park." Jacob said.

After Brooke got her bags, the three heads back to Amity Park where Brooke will stay at Jennifer's place. They decided to stop by at Fenton Works after Dani got a text from Danny. Dani, Jacob and Brooke entered the house where they see Jack, Maddie, Sam and Danny. 64/58 year old Jack and 63/57 year old Maddie has manage to recover Fenton Works back to normal and they look on at each other's lives every since they were too resurrected 9 months ago. Jack has work hard to restore Fenton Works and get everything back to normal. Jack has called Danny and Dani for a urgent situation. Jack and Maddie greeted Danny, Dani, Sam, Jacob and Brooke before Dani wants to get to the subject at hand.

"Alright, so Danny send me a text about something urgent." Dani said.

"So, what's the situation, Dad?" Danny asked.

"Okay, remember those devices that you two recovered from that attack you two went through after Jazz's wedding?" Jack asked.

"Yeah." Danny replied.

"And remember how you told us that you can't even turn them on?" Jack asked.

"Yeah." Dani replied.

"Come with me." Jack said.

Jack then guide Danny and Dani to the lab. Jack then show them one of the devices that they recovered, one of them making a beeping noise.

"So I was working on some of our weapons and equipment when I saw this thing suddenly turn on." Jack said.

"You got it to work? Were you working on it earlier today?" Danny asked.

"No." Jack said.

"It just turn itself on?" Dani asked.

"Yeah, I don't know how. I did manage to take a look at the screen display and the way it looks and the language looks familiar." Jack said.

Danny and Dani then look at the screen display and noticed that everything on it looks familiar to them.

"It does look familiar." Dani said.

"Yeah... It looks like..." Danny said, cutting mid-sentence.

"Harvester..." Danny and Dani said.

Danny and Dani then look at the screen and noticed one symbol that is causing the beeping.

"I wonder what this symbol that is causing the beeping for?" Dani asked.

"One way to find out." Danny said.

Danny then press the symbol on the device's touchscreen and a holographic projection appear, showing the Earth as well as the Ghost Zone and the Keep.

"What in the world?" Jack said.

"It's the Keep, this is Harvester tech." Danny said.

"Why is it showing the Earth, the Ghost Zone and the Keep?" Dani asked.

The hologram then showed a projection of Hertha before her demise and grabs her pager. It then shows bright lines moving away from Hertha's pager before the projection of the Earth turns red. Finally, the projection shows the name Keep followed by the number two.

"Don't tell me what I think it is?" Danny said, fearing the worst.

"I'm thinking the same thing too, Danny. Looks like someone picked up the phone and answered." Dani said.

"It's a distress call." Jack said.

"Oh no... Hertha must have send a distress signal before the ecto-nuke went off six years ago. Dang it, I should have known." Dani said.

"It's not your fault Dani. However, that means there could be more Harvester ghosts out there." Danny said.

"But Danny, Hertha's dead. It's not like they have another royal heir to lead them." Dani said.

"Well, doesn't matter. We need to get the team and let them know about this." Danny said.

"Time to make some calls." Dani said.

With that, Danny and Dani started to call the team.

And that's the end of this chapter. Well, Danny and Dani now knows about the distress call and that the Harvester threat is indeed not over. And this is the DPxMCU debut of my OC Brooke Davenport.
