Ahh welcome back to another chapter. I have come in to some time recently and I am going to push chapters out while I can before I get blocked up again.
In this one, Shawn and Juliet are finding the gender of their baby

Juliet stacked her files and put them on the corner of her desk just as Shawn was walking toward her desk.
Juliet looked up at Shawn and smiled.
Shawn got to Juliet's desk and kissed her.
"Are you ready to see what we're having today?" Shawn whispered.
Juliet looked up and smiled, "I sure am. Let me go tell Karen I'm leaving."
Juliet walked over to Karen's office and poked her head in.
"Hey, I'm taking off for the day." Juliet said.
"Today is the big appointment." Karen said.
"It is. We'll let everyone know this weekend. Shawn doesn't know this, but I'm having a few people over tomorrow after work and we'll tell everyone."
"I'll see you in the morning."
"Thank you for letting me go early."
"Of course."
Juliet left Karen's office and grabbed Shawn's hand and pulled him toward the car.
They got in the car and drove to the hospital.
Shawn dropped Juliet off at the entrance and went and parked.
Juliet went up to the OB ward and signed in and waited for Shawn.
A few minutes later Shawn walked through the door and saw Juliet sitting in the chair scrolling through her phone.
Shawn went and sat down next to Juliet and grabbed her hand.
"Are our names still on the table?" Shawn asked.
"Yep. You want to change it?" Juliet asked.
"Nope."
"Are you sure?"
"I'm serious."
"Alright, well we will have our child's name in a few minutes."
As soon as Juliet was done speaking Dr. Green opened the door and called Juliet's name.
"Ready, sweetheart?" Shawn asked.
Juliet grabbed Shawn's hand and nodded.
Shawn and Juliet made their way to the exam room.
"How are you feeling Juliet?" Dr. Green asked.
"Good. A little tired, but good." Juliet said.
"That's good."
Dr. Green started her exam.
"Well everything looks good. Are you two ready to find out if you two are having a boy or girl?" Dr. Green asked.
Juliet looked at Shawn and nodded, "Yep."
Dr. Green turned on the ultrasound and the heartbeat flowed out of the speakers.
"I'll never get tired of hearing that sound." Shawn said.
Juliet grabbed Shawn's hand and kissed it.
"Well Spencers, you two are having a little girl." Dr. Green said.
"Jules, we're having a little you." Shawn whispered.
"Congratulations." Dr. Green said.
Shawn nodded his thanks.
Dr. Green headed out.
Juliet sat up and looked at Shawn with tears in her eyes.
Juliet grabbed Shawn's face, "Well Mr. Spencer, are you ready to be a daddy to a little girl?"
"Jules, now that we know her name it's hitting me real hard in the face. We're about to be parents." Shawn whispered.
"We are. I can't wait to have a little girl with you."
"I love you so much."
"I love you too."
"You ready to go home, baby?"
Juliet nodded and grabbed the two ultrasound pictures and put them in her purse and grabbed Shawn's hand.
The couple walked out of the hospital and into the car.
Shawn drove them home.
They got home and Juliet walked in and crashed on the couch.
Shawn walked inside and saw Juliet on the couch. He walked over to the couch and picked her up and brought her to the bedroom.
Shawn walked out of the bedroom then Juliet called out for him.
"Shawn!" Juliet said.
Shawn trend around and looked at her, "What's wrong?"
"Nothing. I just want to cuddle for a little bit."
Shawn kicked off his shoes and got in the bed with Juliet close to him.
"What's on your mind, Jules?" Shawn whispered.
"Just how you're going to be the best daddy to our little girl." Juliet whispered.
Shawn kissed Juliet on the crown of her head, "You think so?"
"Yeah, I do."
"What if I mess it up, Jules?"
"Shawn, we are going to be first time parents. We are going to make mistakes and that's ok."
Shawn sighed and nodded.
Juliet sat up and turned around to face Shawn and smiled.
Shawn grabbed Juliet's hands and rubbed his thumb on the back of her hand.
"I love you." Juliet whispered.
"I love you too." Shawn said.
"Natalie Grace Spencer will be here before you know it."
"You did a good job on the name, Jules."
"Thank you. Hopefully we will get to use the one you picked."
"If not, we can always get a dog and name it AJ."
"You really want to name our dog after your grandfather?"
"Good point. But when you're ready for another one let me know."
Juliet smiled, "You are the most amazing man I've ever known."
Shawn kissed Juliet.
They curled back up on the bed and took a nap.
Skipping to the end of Friday when the party is.
SBPD
Juliet walked into Karen's office around 5:30, "I'm heading out. Are you good to head over around 7?"
"7 sounds perfect. Is your husband cooking?" Karen asked.
"I doubt it. I'll order some pizza."
"Good idea."
"Bye."
Juliet left the station and went to the store to grab a few things for the party. She grabbed some drinks, cups, and the cake she called in yesterday. She paid her for her items and went home.
Juliet pulled into the garage at 6:15 and noticed Shawn wasn't at home. She let out a sigh of relief, so she wouldn't have to explain the items. She hurried inside and put everything away.
6:30
Shawn walked through the door at 6:30 that evening and didn't see Juliet sitting on the couch.
"Jules?" Shawn asked.
"In the bedroom!" Juliet yelled.
Shawn put down his bag and ran to the bedroom. He got to the bedroom and saw Juliet changing into a dress.
"Why are you changing?" Shawn asked.
"We are having people over tonight." Juliet said.
Shawn narrowed his eyes, "You did this behind my back?"
"I had to. I know you like Friday nights just for us, but tonight is different. Just trust me on this please."
"Fine…"
"Good. Change your shirt, you have crap all over the front of it."
Shawn looked down at his shirt and saw a few stains on it. He went to his closet and put on a clean shirt.
7:00
The doorbell rang at 7 and Juliet went and grabbed the door.
Shawn started to get up and Juliet pushed him back on the couch.
"Jules!" Shawn fussed.
"Shhh." Juliet shushed.
Juliet opened the door and saw Karen and Carlton along with Gus and Maddie and Henry.
"Hello. Come on in." Juliet greeted.
Everyone made their way through the foyer into the living room.
Shawn looked up and saw everyone he cared about in his house and caught Juliet's eye.
Juliet smiled and went and ran her hands through his hair.
"What's going on? Did I forget a birthday?" Shawn panicked.
"Everything is ok, baby. We are just going to sit around the house and eat pizza and watch TV." Juliet said.
Shawn tilted his head back and looked at Juliet, "Jules…"
"Hush."
Shawn got up and greeted everyone.
A few minutes into the gathering the guys were sitting in the living room while the ladies were sitting outside at the table.
"So how are you feeling?" Maddie asked.
"Tired. This kid moves like crazy." Juliet chuckled.
"Oh yeah, that's 100% Shawn's kid."
Shawn poked his head outside, "Um, sweetheart, why is there a cake in the fridge?"
"For later." Juliet answered.
"Ok. What is it for?"
"After dinner."
"Juliet…"
Juliet laughed, "Can you wait an hour please?"
Shawn rolled his eyes and went back inside.
"Oh so you still haven't told him?" Karen asked.
"Tell him what?" Maddie asked.
"About tonight. We found out what we are having yesterday. I put this little thing together to share our news with our closest friends." Juliet said.
"What does he think tonight is?"
"Just hanging around the house eating pizza and visiting."
"Ooh, you're good." Maddie said.
Juliet laughed, "Thank you."
Exactly an hour passed and Shawn went outside again and stood right in front of Juliet.
"I know what you're up to." Shawn said.
Juliet stood up and got eye level with Shawn, "Oh yeah? What's that?"
"You want to tell people what we're having."
Juliet's jaw dropped, "How did you figure it out?"
"Juliet? We found out yesterday and you've been acting weird today."
Juliet crossed her arms and pouted.
Shawn looked at his mom and then back at the door.
Karen and Maddie got up and went back inside with the rest of the crowd.
As soon as the door shut, Shawn took Juliet by the hand and went and sat down on the bench.
"Sweetheart, why didn't you just tell me you wanted to put the thing together?" Shawn asked.
"You surprise me all the time and I just wanted to surprise you just for once." Juliet said.
Shawn pulled Juliet into a hug.
Juliet looked up at Shawn and kissed him.
Shawn pulled away and brushed the hair out Juliet's face, "Are you ready to go tell them?"
Juliet nodded.
Shawn got up and grabbed Juliet's hand and went back inside.
Juliet and Shawn headed straight to the fridge to get the cake out and some plates.
They got everything ready and went and stood in front of their friends and family.
Juliet grabbed Shawn's hand and Shawn gave her a little nod.
"We invited you guys over tonight to share our news with you. We went to the doctor yesterday and we found out what Little Spencer is." Juliet said.
"And?" Henry asked.
"Natalie Grace Spencer will make her entrance in the fall." Shawn said.
"Dude you're having a girl." Gus said.
"Yeah, I know."
Maddie and Karen got squealed and went and hugged Juliet.
Henry stood up and pulled Shawn into a hug, "Congratulations, son."
"Thanks dad." Shawn whispered.
Carlton went over to Shawn and shook his hand, "Spencer, congratulations. You and O'Hara will make wonderful parents."
"Thanks, Lassie."
Maddie looked at Shawn and went and hugged him.
"My baby is having a baby." Maddie said.
Shawn smiled and hugged his mom.
"Are you excited?"
"Excited for what?"
Juliet heard the exchanged and punched him in the arm.
Shawn turned his head and glared at Juliet, "Um…OW!"
"You never answered your mom's question." Juliet said.
"Yes, I am very excited." Shawn said.
Shawn grabbed Juliet's hand and pulled her over to him and his mom.
"It makes it even better because that baby is half Jules, which is pretty awesome. I wouldn't want to have a kid with anyone else in the world." Shawn said.
Juliet leaned into Shawn, "I wouldn't want my children's father to be anyone else."
"Children? You have another child?"
"No, doofus. I'm saying that I only want you to be our kid's father."
"Oh."
Juliet smiled.
Shawn pulled Juliet away from the crowd into the extra bedroom.
"Shawn we have guests." Juliet whispered.
Shawn ignored Juliet's comment and went and kissed her.
Shawn kept the door open but the lights off. He went into the far right corner of the room where nobody could see them. He pushed Juliet against the wall and kissed her deeply.
"Shawn…" Juliet whispered.
"I love you." Shawn whispered.
Juliet wrapped her arms around Shawn's neck and pulled him in for another kiss.
A few seconds later there was a knock on the door.
"I'm not coming in there, but when is it cake time?" Gus asked.
Shawn pulled away and laughed, "Right now."
Shawn gave Juliet one more quick kiss and left the room to cut everyone some cake.
Juliet sat up against the wall for a few seconds, when Karen came in.
"Juliet?" Karen asked.
"Hmmm?" Juliet asked.
"Is it just you in here?"
"Yes."
Karen turned on the light and saw Juliet's lip gloss smudged.
"So this is where you two ran off to." Karen joked.
"I tried to stop him, but you know, he doesn't listen." Juliet said.
"You're flushed."
"Oh I know, happens every time."
Karen chuckled.
Maddie came in the room and saw Juliet flushed.
"Juliet are you ok?" Maddie asked.
Juliet looked at Karen for some kind of help.
"I'm fine." Juliet said.
Maddie took in Juliet's appearance and saw her lip gloss smudged.
"Oh." Maddie said.
Juliet blushed and threw her head back and hit the wall gently.
"She told me this happens every time." Karen said.
"Karen!" Juliet exclaimed.
"What? It's just us." Karen said.
"Yeah, but that's my husband's MOTHER!"
"I know. I'm sure you and your mom talk about the same stuff."
Juliet thought for a second, "Oh shit!"
"What?" Maddie asked.
"I need to hop on a video call with my mom. Get Shawn in here please."
Karen and Maddie left and went into the kitchen.
Shawn saw his mom and Karen leave the bedroom, but not Juliet.
"Is Jules ok?" Shawn asked.
"Yeah. She's in the bedroom asking for you." Karen said.
"She wants to go again already?"
Maddie slapped Shawn in the back of the head, "No! Go see."
Shawn got up from the table and went into the bedroom and saw Juliet with her computer on the bed.
"Hey, what's up?" Shawn asked.
"Come in and shut the door." Juliet said.
"Again?"
"No. We need to call my mom."
"Oh yeah."
Shawn went and sat down and stretched out.
Juliet looked at Shawn.
"What?" Shawn asked.
Juliet was about to open her mouth when Shawn pulled her into his lap and put her in between his legs.
"Happy now?" Shawn asked.
Juliet laughed and nodded.
Juliet pulled up her mom's number and pressed the video call button.
A few rings later and Maryanne popped on the screen.
"Hey mom!" Juliet said.
"Hello you two, how are you doing?" Maryanne asked.
"We are great. We have some news for you."
"Which is?"
"Natalie Grace Spencer will be making her big debut in the fall."
"A girl. You're having a girl?"
Juliet smiled and watched her mom wipe away the tears that fell.
Shawn put his chin on Juliet's shoulder and wiped away one of his tears.
Juliet turned her head and saw a tear stain on Shawn's face.
"Baby you ok?" Juliet asked.
Shawn nodded, "Keep talking to your mom."
Maryanne and Juliet kept talking until Maryanne got Shawn's attention.
"Shawn?" Maryanne asked.
Shawn zoned back in and listened to Maryanne.
"Yeah?" Shawn asked.
"What do you think?"
"About the baby? Now that we know her name and everything, it's getting real now. Up until now we just knew that we were having a baby and now we know we're having a little girl, it's great."
"Juliet do you agree with Shawn?"
Juliet nodded and rubbed Shawn's cheek, "I do. We picked names out a couple of months ago, but now that we know we're having a girl, it's all coming together now."
"Do you want me to fly in for the birth?"
"Of course I want my mom there."
"My mom too?" Shawn whispered.
"And Shawn's mom."
Maryanne smiled, "Well congratulations you two. I will be expecting the baby registry in a few weeks."
"Thanks mom." Juliet said.
"Yes, thank you, Maryanne. We love you." Shawn said.
"Love you too. Juliet? Call back soon?"
"Of course. Love you mom."
Juliet closed her computer and leaned against Shawn, "Well, the baby wants cake."
"I ate all the cake." Shawn joked.
"Shawn I swear to God if you ate all that cake…"
"I'm joking, there's plenty left."
Juliet slapped Shawn in the chest and left the bedroom.
"How was your mom?" Karen asked.
"She's good. She's excited." Juliet said.
Shawn came out of the bedroom and sat down next to his mom.
"Mom?" Shawn whispered.
Maddie turned to Shawn, "What's up?"
"How long are you in town for?"
"For a little while."
"I need dates mom."
"I plan on being here a lot longer than forever."
Shawn's eyes widened and Juliet saw and ran over to him.
"You ok?" Juliet whispered.
"Yeah, mom just said she's not leaving." Shawn said.
Juliet smiled and hugged Maddie, "Thank you."
Maddie pulled away and looked at Juliet, "Of course."
It was around 10 that night and everyone was beginning to get their things and head out for the night.
"Thank you guys for coming tonight." Juliet said.
"I can't wait to meet my niece." Gus said.
Shawn went up to Gus and fist bumped and then hugged, "I'm happy for you, man."
"Thanks, Gus." Shawn said.
Everyone else said their goodbyes and left the Spencer house.
Shawn locked everything up and went and cleaned up the kitchen.
Juliet made her way into the bedroom to change into pajamas. She got in bed and waited for Shawn to get in bed with her.
Shawn walked into the bedroom and saw Juliet passed out on top of the covers. He smiled to himself and put her under the covers.
Shawn changed and got in bed and whispered, "We can't wait to meet you, little girl. We love you so much already. You have daddy's heart forever."
Juliet ran her fingers through Shawn's hair and he popped up, "I though you were sleeping."
"I was, but when you started talking I woke up." Juliet said.
"I thought I was being quiet."
"You quiet?"
Shawn kissed Juliet's belly and then moved to Juliet's lips.
"I love you." Shawn said.
"I love you too. And who has my heart forever?"
"I have your heart forever. I have my two girls to give me a reason to wake up in the morning."
"I love you baby. I'll see you in the morning."
"Love you too."
Shawn gave Juliet one more kiss and then rolled over and went to sleep.
