Okay I need to bring this up since it got me annoyed recently. Okay, when it comes to reviewing my chapters, if you're gonna ask me like who's my favorite villain or character, I don't mind I would happily answer them as best I can, but if you're gonna start asking questions that involves my series, like how old is the characters, the answers are literally in my stories. I don't mind questions like that from time-to-time so that it can refresh your memory or unless you're new to the series, but not in almost every single review because that tells me two things. Either you didn't read my stories, the previous ones, or you're not paying close attention and reading it carefully. I had one question that ask me how old is Danny and Dani in this story. The answer is literally in chapter 1 and that tells me you weren't paying close attention or reading it carefully to see any detail so that it could help you imagine. That's why I always bring it up in my author's notes in every prologue or first chapter. Now I will say this again, if you're new to the series, you'll need to read the following stories in the series' chronological order before reading this one in order to catch up. That list of stories is at my author's note in the prologue and I'm gonna respectfully ask that you pay close attention and read them carefully. One thing you all should know about me, I am nice and I do appreciate the support and reviews and I do like to reply to your reviews or questions, but I do have a no-nonsense and New York attitude considering I'm originally from NYC. Now with that being said, before I reply to the reviews, a quick reminder that this story is a collab with Mikaela2015's Phantom Twins series and this chapter officially stars the collab, so be sure to check out mikaela2015's story from her character's perspective which is called The Phantom Twins: Return to the Second Dimension. Here's chapter 6 everybody.
Chapter 6: Alternate Universe Return.
At the alternate universe's New York City, a bright light appeared at a alleyway before it disappears, revealing Danny, Dani and Kayla. All three has arrived at the alternate universe, a place Dani never thought she would visit again.
"I never thought I would be back here, in this alternate universe." Dani said.
"Alternate universes. Never thought there would be such thing. At least my kind doesn't exist here. Anyway, before the Harvesters flew through the time stream, I noticed some individuals that I recognized on the distress call." Kayla said before she displays a hologram of alternate Team Phantom on the distress call. "Do they live here? Are some of them alternate versions of yourselves?"
"Yes, Your Highness. It's a long story when we were dealing with Hertha. All I can tell you is that it's been six years since we've seen alternate Team Phantom in person. Sure we know what they've been up to since we've seen their adventures on Clockwork's time monitors, but still. Anyway, this is a unfortunate situation. Those eight Harvesters being in this universe are sure to start a second dimensional war. It's not gonna be good. I don't know if Clockwork back in our universe will fix it again like last time." Danny said.
"Well, let's find those Harvesters fast before something bad happens, and let's go invisible so that no one will see us. Don't wanna cause confusion like last time before everything got restored." Dani said.
"We should split up too. You two will find four Harvesters and I'll find the other four." Kayla suggested.
"Good idea." Dani said.
At that moment, Danny, Dani and Kayla heard a loud noise before they look up at the sky to see Dayla carrying Andrew as they are being chased by alternate Ember, alternate Skulker, and four Harvesters.
"That was quick, and they already cause problems and a second dimensional war." Danny said.
"Nothing is ever easy, isn't it?" Dani asked.
"Nope." Danny replied.
"You two go after them. I'll find the other four." Kayla said.
"Alright, good luck, Your Highness." Danny said.
Kayla then turn invisible before she flew off to begin her search. Danny and Dani turn themselves invisible before they quickly ran out of the alleyway to see the chase.
"What do we do?" Dani asked.
"They're heading towards Grand Central Station. Remember that tactic we did with Cap when we had to rescue Wanda and Vision from Thanos' minions?" Danny asked.
"Yeah." Dani said.
"Let's do that. We'll see how they can put up and then we'll strike." Danny said.
"All right." Dani said.
Danny and Dani invisibly flew towards the Grand Central Station where they see four of the Harvesters, as well as alternate Ember and alternate Skulker pursuing Dayla and Andrew. They watch as Andrew continued to fire blasts at all six ghosts with his wrist ray, but each of the blasts miss as the Harvesters, alternate Skulker and alternate Ember dodged the oncoming attacks. Luckily for Danny and Dani, the shots pass harmlessly through them since they're invisible and intangible. Danny and Dani then saw alternate Skulker suddenly launch one of his suit's missiles towards Andrew and Dayla. The missile couldn't reach them and exploded. However, the shockwave did knock them straight down. Danny and Dani watch as Dayla and Andrew were heading right for the roof of the Grand Central station. Dayla grabbed Andrew tight and turned intangible, phasing them both through the roof of the Grand Central Station.
"They're not gonna get some much rest. The Harvesters, as well as alternate Ember and alternate Skulker will find them and attack them." Dani said.
"Let's split up. I'll head towards a platform and wait for a subway train to pass while hiding in the shadows. Once I reveal myself out of the shadows, that will be your cue to blast the Harvesters so that I can capture them." Danny said.
"On it." Dani said.
Danny flew through the roof of the Grand Central Station before landing on a platform. He then made himself visible while hiding behind a pillar as he sees Dayla and Andrew, along with alternate Skulker and alternate Ember, on the other side of the train tracks. Before another battle can ensue, the glass windows then broke as the four Harvesters crashed through and stood in front of Dayla and Andrew, and alternate Ember and alternate Skulker and stood their ground with murderous intentions.
"Nothing is ever easy, is it?" Dayla groaned.
Danny watch as Dayla and Andrew went to defensive poses, ready to fight, both alternate Ember, alternate Skulker and the four Harvesters. Alternate Ember and alternate Skulker did the same, ready to attack both Dayla, Andrew and their new enemies the Harvesters for interrupting their hunt. The Harvesters also stood ready to fight and to kill Dayla, Andrew, alternate Ember and alternate Skulker. Danny then noticed a subway express train approaching and realized this is his opening to make his entrance to the battle. Once the train starts to pass, Danny walk out of the pillar and stood his ground as he waits for the train to pass. He can also noticed that the Harvesters, alternate Ember, alternate Skulker, Dayla and Andrew have noticed his presence, but they seem to not know who he is since he's hidden in the shadows. As soon as the train passed, one of the Harvesters screeched and shot an ecto-blast at Danny, but Danny merely caught the blast and held it in his hand effortlessly, shocking Dayla, Andrew, alternate Ember and alternate Skulker. Danny then came out of the shadows to revealed himself. Danny looks at the group with a stern look on his face and ready to fight. Dayla and Andrew looked at him in shock at first but then smiled for a moment. Danny's presence also get shock reactions from alternate Ember and alternate Skulker.
'Who the heck is this whelp? It can't be the female Phantom's twin brother?' alternate Skulker said in his head, still shocked that he was seeing Danny.
'Who the heck is he supposed to be? A Danny Phantom wannabe? Although, he does look a bit stronger than the other dipstick.' alternate Ember said in her head, also shocked at seeing Danny.
One of the Harvesters charged at Dayla and Andrew, about to strike down at them while they were distracted until it was blasted back, along with its three other comrades, by another ecto-blast. Everyone else turned to see Dani.
'Who the heck is this supposed to be?!' alternate Skulker and alternate Ember both shouted in their heads, now shocked to see Dani.
"Either those two are Danny Phantom and his clone Dani Phantom, or the fans have started making their costumes a bit more advanced." alternate Skulker said.
Dani then blasted all four Harvesters, giving Danny the opportunity to activate one of his Fenton Glove vibranium Fenton Thermoses and capture the four Harvester ghosts. Danny and Dani then attacked alternate Ember and alternate Skulker as Dayla and Andrew watch in shock and amazement. Danny and Dani's attack caught alternate Ember and alternate Skulker off guard. Danny and Dani's eyes then turn dark blue before firing a powerful Asgardian energy flash at alternate Skulker, vaporizing his suit to reveal his true form. Danny and Dani then work together to overpower and disarm alternate Ember. Alternate Ember is not familiar with Danny and Dani's fighting tactics and she eventually gets knocked her down next to alternate Skulker. Danny and Dani glowed their fists and pointed them at alternate Ember and alternate Skulker, cornering them. Alternate Skulker, looked at his ghostly musical girlfriend in concern.
"We don't wanna fight you, but we will if you don't leave." Dani warned.
"I don't know who you two are, but you two along with those two haven't seen the last of us. This is just the beginning." alternate Ember said before she picked up alternate Skulker and retreated from the scene.
Once alternate Ember and alternate Skulker were gone, Danny and Dani went to check on Dayla and Andrew.
"First rule of battle strategy, never, ever, get distracted." Dani said as she and Danny walked up to them.
"Older Danny and Dani?! You guys are here! But how?..." Dayla asked in shock.
Danny and Dani didn't reply, but smile at Dayla and Andrew, happy to see them again.
"Come on, let's get you two home. Got a lot of explaining to do." Danny said.
"And we have to find a new ally to us." Dani said.
"Who?" Andrew asked.
"You'll see." Dani replied.
Meanwhile, Kayla landed near the Ambassador Theatre as something glowing on the ground caught her attention. She then noticed a puddle of ectoplasmic goo. She use her finger to swipe some of the goo and recognized the signature coming from it.
"Definitely Harvester. I guess one of them got destroyed." Kayla said to herself.
Kayla then felt a aura as if something or someone was here. She turns around to see the four other Harvesters she has been searching for.
"You shouldn't have come, Your Highness. It's a shame we'll have to kill you. We will not let you interfere with Queen Camila's plans and we'll put an end to you and your resistance once and for all." a Harvester said telepathically.
"We'll see about that. I'm not gonna sit around while I watch you and my siblings cause more genocide and destroy more worlds and their Ghost Zone dimensional planes." Kayla said telepathically.
"Please, Your Highness. Queen Camila will continue what her Majesty Queen Hertha started and harvest that worthless planet Earth. You should know, we have successfully harvested many worlds and their Ghost Zone dimensional planes for thousands of years during this war and you failed at every one of those battles, and now Earth! Long live Queen Camila!" a second Harvester said telepathically, showing his loyalty to Camila.
"Well, Camila may be my sister and I love her, but it's a shame her reign will be short. I won't let her or you pawns destroy Earth. And by the way, you had lost some battles too, and soon this one." Kayla said telepathically as she readies her sword. "Bring it on!"
"Kill her!" a third Harvester said telepathically.
The four Harvesters screeched before they charged towards Kayla, their own princess. One Harvester shot a ecto-blast, knocking her sword down. Kayla then charged back towards the Harvesters before she leaped into the air. She then plunged down before giving one Harvester a right hook to the face. She then kicked another Harvester, sending it back a few feet. A third Harvester was about to attack Kayla with its claws, but she noticed this and did a backflip and managed to grabbed a hold of its neck before snapping it, killing the Harvester. Kayla then look at the three remaining Harvesters just as Danny, Dani, Dayla and Andrew arrived and noticed her fighting. Kayla then charged towards the three Harvesters before she flew into the air and plunge back down to grab her sword. Kayla then stab the second Harvester by the head before she decapitates it. Kayla then sliced the third Harvesters arm before she slicing it into two. Kayla then looks at the last Harvester remaining. Kayla then once again use her telepathic powers against the Harvester, causing it to screech in pain, before she fires two bright purple ecto-beams from her eyes, creating a hole on the Harvester's chest. The Harvester then dissolve into ectoplasmic goo just like the others. Danny then activate his thermos and suck in all the ectoplasmic goo.
"The four Harvesters. Did you capture them?" Kayla asked.
"They're all in here." Danny said as he shows the thermoses.
"And we helped some old friends." Dani said, gesturing to Dayla and Andrew.
"Greetings, young warriors." Kayla greeted as she pounds her fist on her chest before pointing her sword towards the sky.
"Older Danny, who is this?" Dayla asked, confused about seeing Kayla.
"I'll let her introduce herself." Danny replied, rubbing the back of his neck nervously.
"I am Princess Kayla, heir to the Harvesters and I come in peace." Kayla said while retracting her sword.
"A Harvester princess! She's a enemy!" Andrew said as he aims his blaster.
Dayla fists glowed as she points them at Kayla and was about to fire. However, Danny and Dani got in front of them, blocking Kayla.
"Stop!" Dani pleaded, holding her hands up.
"What do you mean stop?! She's a Harvester like Hertha!" Andrew said.
"Stand down! She's a friendly." Danny ordered calmly.
"Trust us, she means no harm." Dani said.
Dayla and Andrew look at each other and eventually stands down as well as calm down.
"I didn't think there was one Harvester that was friendly." Dayla said.
"Trust me, young ones, I hate being called a Harvester." Kayla said, frowning at the thought of the name.
"Why are you here?" Andrew asked.
"Because Danny and Dani's world is in grave danger." Kayla said.
"It's better if we explain this back at your home." Danny said.
"Is there anyway you can meet up with the others?" Dani asked.
"We were gonna head back to Amity Park for the semester break in a couple days anyway. The others are too." Dayla replied.
"Well change in plans. We gotta head for Amity Park now." Danny said.
"I also like to know what was the deal with alternate Ember and alternate Skulker. Alternate Ember said this is the beginning. Beginning for what?" Dani said.
"I don't know but it's best if Dayla and I head back to our dorms and get a few things and get tickets for the next train to Amity Park." Andrew said.
"You two lead the way." Danny said.
With that, Danny, Dani, Kayla, Dayla and Andrew heads back to Dayla and Andrew's college before they head back to alternate Amity Park.
And that's the end of this chapter. Well, Danny and Dani are reunited with Dayla and Andrew and Kayla meets the latter two. If you haven't noticed, that Grand Central Station battle is reference to the scene where the Avengers save Wanda and Vision in Infinity War, which Danny and Dani was part of that fight. Well, what will happen when the rest of Team Phantom finds out about Danny, Dani and Kayla's whereabouts?
