Hi. I'm a few days late because of the holidays, sorry about that.

I think I will refrain myself from adding OCs into this story as much as possible. Sorry if you think there are too many OCs, I just needed something to fill in for the repetition of Railgun episodes.

Emilia's eyes remain the same throughout the entire story. They only look different with/without the bags under her eyes. I just thought I wanted to make some indirect statements that Emilia was running an unhealthy sleep schedule.

"You're almost fully recovered." A doctor said, wrapping up the checkup. Emilia ended up with a bandaged arm, replacing the cast she was originally wearing. She slowly twisted it around, inspecting her arm. "Though it looks good as new, your muscle tissues and new marrow have to adapt to the sudden operation we performed. Don't make any sudden movements with it, okay?" The doctor added.

Emillia nodded and left the hospital, making sure she visited her best friend again. Nothing special really happened during the visit. It was just the same thing again.

She wondered to herself about Jason. He's not going to compare Me and Zero's fighting style is he? He definitely is improving, I'll give him that though. I'll have to be more weary.

Emilia sighed once again. Even though she was off on the missions from the dark side, she was still feeling stressed and tired. She has a lot of catching up to do on judgement work, because of her agreement to train Jason.

"I want to go to sleep." She muttered to herself.

Emilia arrived back in her dorm, and resisted the temptation to pass out in the bed. She opened up her personal laptop and started to do her work. While Emilia was doing research to catch up on Judgement's findings, she received a call from Ruiko.

"What's up Saten?" Emilia asked as she picked up her phone, almost groaning. She was quite tired, and wasn't in the mood of talking.

"Hey, Emilia. I just thought if you can come join, Misaka-san and I are at the park." Ruiko asked. Emilia wasn't sure if she was ignoring her listless voice, or oblivious to it.

She opened her mouth to say no, but hesitated. It would help if they told me everything they did instead of having me do all this work blind… "Okay, I'll be there." She replied. She shut her laptop, and left her dorm.

"So, Erii is a child error?" Emilia asked.

Mikoto and Ruiko both nodded firmly. The three girls were sitting in a park, holding a drink. Though the area was a casual hot summer day, the suspense of the discussion holding place didn't make it as pleasant.

Emilia's two friends continued to explain about Erii's friend, Banri. About how she was involved with an experiment where they analyzed forced ability overload, whose man-in-charge is a man named Kihara Gensei. That name sounds familiar.

"This is a lot to take in." Emilia said, taking a sip.

"Sure is." Mikoto replied nonchalantly.

Emilia stared at the table for a moment. "I'm sorry that I wasn't around to help." For some reason, Emilia felt her heart tighten. I still don't feel like I know enough about this situation. I should gather more information about this case if I really want to be of any use.

Emilia's thoughts were interrupted by Mikoto's phone. She picked her green phone and put it against her ear. "Misaka here."

Mikoto gasped at whatever was said in the otherline.

"Kiyama Harumi was released from jail?" Mikoto asked, shocked.

Emilia found herself in a pastry shop, leaning on a pillar. Mikoto and Ruiko sat on a table, with Therestina on the opposite side of the two girls. Emilia noticed Therstina made a quick glance at her, but Emilia kept her head down to avoid eye contact.

Therstina looked back at the girls and responded. "Yes, I went to the prison to ask about the experiment, but…"

"They approved her bail?" Mikoto finished for her. Therestina didn't look offended in the slightest. "I don't know all the details, but that's the way it looked."

"But didn't she say she would do anything for those kids?" Ruiko spoke up. "For her to abandon that is a little wrong, don't you think?"

"It's not surprising." Therestina answered. "She did manipulate those student ambition's for her own sake after all."

Emilia frowned. I don't think so, I think she really did mean it when she said she was going to save the kids.

"Excuse me." Emilia said. She stood up and proceeded to leave. Mikoto and Ruiko, knowing their friend, also gave their regards.

As Emilia left, she walked to the clothes store to buy a blue hoodie. She ripped the price tag off and wore it during the summer. With the hoodie up, she walked over to the hideout in about an hour. In the dark alley, she opened up the door.

Everything was the same, with X still out doing something. All the neat furniture and in the room were neatly in their place, with a little specks of dust.

Emilia breathed a sigh of relief and walked inside, closing the door. She immediately began opening the file cabinets near the office, and began searching for bios.

She dug her finger through the "K" area and finally came across a name. The infamous Kihara family. As she continued her search, she finally found what she was looking for.

'Therestina Kihara Lifeline' The document said. This confirmed Emilia suspicions. Threstina was related to Gensei, the guy who overlooked that experiment.

Emilia said nothing, and sat on the nearest couch. She picked up her phone and called Mikoto.

"Hello? Emilia, do you need something?"

Emilia got straight to the point. "You're going to try and find her, aren't you?" She asked bluntly.

"Wh-what? No, no way!" Mikoto denied panickfully. Her surprised reaction meant that Emilia was right.

Emilia sighed. "I'll come with you, let me know if you have a lead."

"But…"

"I can tell your dorm manager about this."

"Todoroki-san! Y-you wouldn't!" Mikoto's voice was filled with denial, rage, and fear.

"You're right, I wouldn't." Emilia said, to which she heard a sigh of relief on the other end. "But I'm still coming with you."

"Okay."

Advanced education Bureau at District 13. It was the text Emilia got from Mikoto a few hours prior to their deal. Emilia wore her new, blue hoodie and brought a mask (a different one from Zero, of course).

The location wasn't as far, so Emilia simply ran over to the location as fast as she could. Once she arrived in the dark area, she found a teenage girl with chestnut hair wearing a pink T-shirt and tutu. The girl also wore a green frog mask to cover her face. Sparks came out as the girl ran over the wall.

Seriously? Of all things, why did you bring a Gekota mask? Anyway, at least I know that's Misaka. Emilia put on her own mask and put up her hood. She tightened to strings so the hood wouldn't come off, and climbed over the wall. She landed next to her friend, and Mikoto jumped back in surprise.

"Relax, it's me." Emilia said before Mikoto made any assumptions.

"You look scary." Mikoto commented, inspecting Emilia's hood and mask.

"And you look like a little girl." Emilia shot back, walking into the building.

"Hey!" Mikoto yelled in protest, following Emilia. Even though they were wearing masks, Emilia could see Mikoto's pouting face.

The two disguised girls snuck closer into the building. When they came across a numbered keypad, Mikoto used her electric ability to open the door.

"The power isn't on." Mikoto whispers while opening the heavy door.

As they entered the room, they both removed their masks. Mikoto put hers one the side of head, while Emilia simply removed it entirely, with the hood down.

They walked in a dark hallway, peering over classrooms with desks all of the floor. Mikoto entered a certain room where the experiments were taking place while Emilia waited out the room.

"Find anything?" EMilia asked, leaning next to the door with her arms crossed.

"Yeah, but nothing useful." Mikoto called back, leaving the room. But as Mikoto was about to leave, Mikoto saw a bright light coming from the window above her. SHe immediately recognized who was there. "It's her!" She said, bolting out the room.

"Kiyama?" Emilia asked, seeing Mikoto bolt out the room. Given no response, she followed behind Mikoto.

She followed Mikoto to a room, and they found themselves in front of Kiyama Harumi.

"Just as I thought." Mikoto announced.

Harumi didn't even look remotely surprised. Mikoto kept her face firm. After a little silence, Harumi talked first.

"Do you have some buss-"

"The incident this time is your doing isn't it?" Mikoto cut her off.

"What if it were?" Harumi asked.

"Then there's no way I'd forgive you!" Mikoto yelled, agitated. She released more electricity out of anger before Emilia put her hand on her shoulder.

"Relax, don't let her get to you." Emilia said.

"But still-"

Suddenly, the lights came on, and an alarm sounded. Mikoto looked around, confused while Emilia and Harumi sighed.

Before they knew it, they were in the nice looking car with Harumi. The two teenage girls sat in the back seat together.

Emilia chuckled lightly. "And I thought I was being a burden." She made herself comfy, leaned back in the carseat with her hands jammed in her pockets.

"Shut up." Mikoto snapped at her. She turned her gaze to the driver. "Anyway, that's not the point. How did you get there? How did you get bailed? What is your goal?"

"I can only assume her goal is to save the kids." Emilia muttered, with her eyes closed.

Despite Emilia's silent half hearted voice, Mikoto still overheard it. "What? But didn't we discuss that she abandoned the kids?"

"I'll save your questions for later. Follow me." Harumi interrupted as she kept diving.

They finally arrived in a similar looking building as Harumi got out of the car and the two girls followed behind. They finally stopped to see a room with a dozen or two kids sleeping in beds, probably unconscious. Mikoto finally decided to speak up.

"So you're the one behind the poltergeist after all!" Mikoto yelled.

"Yes." Harumi confirms

"Don't do it again." Emilia said, who already predicted what's going to happen.

"Mikoto turned around to face her friend. "Emilia, How are you so calm about this? Shouldn't you be angry as well?"

"Emotions are only an obstacle when it comes to solving problems." Emilia replied in a cryptic manner. "You should stop throwing electricity around, Biribiri."

Mikoto gasped. "What did you just call me?"

"Come to think of it, I think Bugzapper is a better nickname." Emilia giggled a little.

"Well, jokes aside, the girl has a point." A newcomer's voice echoed in the building. "Though she may be causing the incidents, the circumstances behind it are a bit complicated."

"You're that…" Mikoto trailed off.

"Kihara Gensei." The doctor with a strange looking face said. "He's the one who started it all."

Mikoto kept silent, listening intently.

Emilia narrowed her eyes, piecing it all together.

The Kihara family. I know them from being in the dark side.

As Heaven Canceller continued to explain to Mikoto, Emilia began to remember her first encounter with Kihara Gensei.

'So this is him?' A scientist approached the masked figure, Zero.

'Looks like it. He is surprisingly more calm and collected then any other level 5. Though his rank is only officially 6th, many professionals estimate that he could rival the Railgun.'

'Hey, kid. Do you want to help us with a little something?' A scientist walked further into the sketchy research facility, signalling Emilia to follow. The scientist walked calmly with his hands behind his back, turning around to check on Emilia every once in a while.

Emilia looked around as she was walking, but didn't say a thing.

They finally came to a room. It just looked like a normal room for checkups with the doctor. There was a computer with a comfy looking chair, and there was another more sketchy chair that Emilia could only assume was for patients. The man sat in the comfy chair and rotated his chair to face Emilia. He held up his hand with a kind hearted smile.

"The first thing you can help us with is to lend us your DNA, if you don't mind."

"No, way… all to reach level 6?" Mikoto asked in disbelief. Emilia quickly snapped out of it. "No one's even sure it's possible. These children were put into that state just for that insane experiment?"

"All I was able to do but gave their lives. Luckily it did not take too long to gather them all up. I carry quite a bit of influence in this area. I wanted to consult with a specialist in order to revive them."

"So you're the one that bailed her." Emilia finished. "Then, with his help, you managed to find a way to revive them. But whenever they get close to awakening, their abilities overload and thus the simultaneous outbreaks of the RSPK syndrome. So, I'm going to guess you need more data on the Ability body crystals."

Mikoto and Harumi looked at Emilia in surprise. Then Harumi closed her eyes and nodded. "Yes, I was at the research facility to find that data. I would prefer it if you called them Crystallized esper essence."

"Misaka. Do you know about that woman who saved Uiharu and Haruue? She's a member of the Kihara family, I don't think she can be trusted."

"WHAT?" Harumi, and Mikoto shouted in complete surprise.
