Hey, new chapter.

Response to Guest10032:

I do comment responses, I only do them if I really have something to say.

Thanks for reminding me that Touma is supposed to be losing his memories, please just assume that Mikoto had already mentioned Emillia to him.

How I picture Emilia making ice kind of goes along these lines; she freezes a certain spot to an extreme cold temperature, then she heats up the surrounding area to avoid the ice going out of control.

With this "heating" aspect in play, Emilia is able to make the ice into almost any shape she desires.

You're certainly right about the "fire" Emilia emits. I kind of just copied Shoto Todoroki from My Hero Academia.

Thanks a lot for the review and the ego boost! I've been taught mathematics and Calculus earlier than my peers, so I also have some basic understanding of physics despite my grade.

Another quick note, please ignore the name "Emilia" being spelt with two Ls. Autocorrect is being weird.

"Mikoto has a clone?" Emilia echoed.

Touma was sprinting as hard as he could, with Emilia jogging behind him. As Emilla was discharged from the hospital in the evening, they were almost in the middle of the night.

"Several more, as a matter of fact. They're in this freaky experiment where they all get killed by Accelerator." Touma said, panting as he ran.

Emillia decided to spare the additional questions. "Do you have a plan? Where are we even going to confront him?"

"He's at the closest switchyard, all I have to do is to defeat him."

"That's the plan? You couldn't even beat me in a fair fight, how are you planning on facing the 1st ranked head on?"

Touma hesitated to speak, and Emilia sighed in response. "If it's for Mikoto, I'll help whenever I can."

"No."

Emilia looked to her side and stared at Touma in even more shock. "What do you mean?"

"I have to beat him without anyone else interfering. That way, the experiment would end for sure."

"What should I do then?" Emilia asked.

"He's going to kill one of the clones at the switchyard, so we're going to have to save her first. Keep her safe while I fight."

"We're going to the switchyard, huh? In that case, hold my hand." Emillia said, offering her right hand.

"What's this about?" Touma asked as he unknowingly grabbed Emillia's hand with his left. Emillia shot into the air, and Touma yelled in surprise.

Though Emillia swiftly landed on the nearby tallest building in the area, gravity didn't let go of Touma. He ended up hanging on to Emillia's right arm with both hands for dear life.

"What are you doing? Are you crazy?" Touma screamed as he held Emilia's arm tightly, almost about to take a huge fall.

Emilia grit her teeth as she tried to pull Touma up. "My ability… It won't work…"

Touma, realising what he's doing, made his right hand let go of Emilia. He was then easily pulled up by Emilia.

"I guess can't really travel with you around." Emilia said with a sigh.

"Yeah… Sorry about that." Touma said, scratching his head.

"No, I'm sorry."

Touma looked up. "What do you mean?" He asked.

The carnage began in the switchyard, right on schedule. The word "carnage" was a serious understatement. The switchyard quickly became Accelerator's playing field rather than an actual battlefield, as the clone was badly beaten and thrown across the area.

Suddenly, the sound of someone screaming rang out in the switchyard. Accelerator looked around, puzzled. The clone didn't seem to make the noise, as they hardly displayed emotions, and the scream sounded like a male voice.

Touma flew over Accelerator's head like a cannonball, still screaming until he hit the ground. As he landed, he rolled several times onto the dirt before he was lying on the ground using his back.

"Owww… What the heck is her problem?" Touma groaned, getting up.

"Who the fuck are you?" The pale boy demanded as his foot was roughly placed onto the girl resembling Mikoto. The number one esper resembled a skinny teen who has pale skin, moppy white hair, and red eyes.

Touma put down his annoyed, agitated face and replaced it with a serious look. "Let her go, Accelerator."

"Huh?" Accelerator asked vulgarly. His voice was mixed with both annoyance and confusion at the same time.

"Step away!" Touma yelled firmly. "Get away from Misaka's sister!"

"There are seven Level 5s, and I am undeniably the strongest. You must have something going for yourself if you think you can stand there and make demands like that to me."

"I'm sick of repeating myself!" Touma continued to yell. "Get the hell away from her!"

"Oh yeah? I have to admit, you're intriguing," Accelerator replied, "However, instead of me getting away from her, how about I get her away from me?" Accelerator lifted his foot off the girl and gave her a light kick to the waist with the foot. All of a sudden, the girl flew straight into the air.

Thinking fast, Touma rushed over to where the clone was flying and managed to dive and catch her in time.

"MISAKA is questioning her mental status. Why would you help someone who can be reproduced with a push of a button?" The clone asked, laying there immobile.

"You're wrong. You may have quite a lot of bodies, but there is still only one of you right? That's why I'm going to save you." Touma said, putting MISAKA 10032 down.

"Have you forgotten my presence?" Accelerator asked. "Spewing out heroic lines like that."

Touma charged straight into the esper headfirst. He lifted his right hand, about to land a punch, but Accelerator launched him backwards before he could do anything.

"You're too slow. You're a century too slow!" Accelerator laughed maniacally. Immediately, he changed to vectors in the rails, making the rusty metal distort and bend. In a heartbeat, they went straight for Touma.

Touma hastily avoided every one of them, but he looked up to see more metal beams coming to him. It hits the ground causing dirt and dust to be displaced into the air.

Touma couldn't see anything. As the dirt and dust blinded him, he later found himself on the ground. Accelerator was in front of him, unfazed by the damage he caused.

"Listen here. I thought you'd actually have something going for you if you had the guts to do something like that, but you're just a useless level zero aren't you?" He began to walk closer. "I'll end your suffering. As soon as I touch you, you'll be as good as dead. There's nothing you're going to do about it!"

He continued to walk closer, and with unthinkable things in mind, he reached his hand out to Touma. However, all of a sudden, Touma heard a strange noise ring out. It wasn't the sound of his imagine breaker, it was something else. He noticed a glimpse of a dagger.

He turned to his left, up on a large metal crate, to see a black haired girl with a cape, who just caught the reflected dagger by the blade. She must have thrown the dagger at Accelerator, but he had it reflected back at her.

Accelerator clicked his tongue in annoyance. He redirected the rails towards Emilia, so she abandoned her high ground to avoid the projectiles. As soon as she hit the ground, she kept running. Not necessarily towards Accelerator, but to avoid more attacks coming from an unthinkable angle.

Emilia ended up by Touma's side, and she put away her dagger. Clearly, it wasn't going to do her any good.

Throughout this entire time, Accelerator stood completely still, slightly dumbstruck with what had just happened. He then shrugged to himself and smiled. "I see! You at least brought someone with you, huh? Unfortunately… it's not going to do you any good!" Without warning, he flew straight towards the duo with his left hand outreached. He was changing to vectors of his shoes to accelerate himself.

Emilia drew a deep breath and grabbed the boy's wrist with her right hand. But this didn't stop the vector change in Accelerator's shoes. For a slight second, Touma looked at her, confused. She looked like she was in pain. However, Touma didn't hesitate to take the opportunity to give a right hook to the albino's face.

Accelerator stumbled backwards, on the ground. He flew up into the sky and landed onto another crate to avoid the growing ice.

"That… was a good move." Accelerator said. "No, seriously! No one has even landed a hit on me! Looks like you've gotten another fellow level 5 to help you. I don't know how, though."

Touma frowned. He couldn't remember how he and Emillia first met, but he very clearly remembered Mikoto mentioning her. She was the new level 5 the media broadcasted.

"Argh. Just when I came out of the hospital, I already broke my hand. You owe me a favor y'know?" Emilia said.

"You broke your hand!?" Touma yelled in surprise.

"It could've been worse, like having it ripped off. Accelerator has a barrier surrounding him that will mess up anything that's surrounding him. Luckily, my ability suppressed the damage." Emilias said. "With your weird right hand, you should be able to bypass that barrier. However, that only means you'll have to fight one handed."

"I'll do it. Keep Misaka's sister safe." Touma said.

"Roger."

"Do you know that boy? MISAKA doesn't understand him. MISAKA's only purpose is to be a part of the experiment, yet he still vows to help me."

"Wow. I never thought I'd hear my friend speak in third person. I don't really know what he's doing either, but he's certainly doing the right thing. You look human, and you speak like one. You aren't a disposable tool." Emilia said in response. "Just take a rest."

Emilia and Misaka 10032 took cover behind a few abandoned boxcars. Emillia knew it wasn't going to do much, but it was the least she could do. She took a small peak to see that Touma was surprisingly, in fact, on the offensive. Accelerator must be weak physically for relying on his ability too much.

She noticed the clone behind her, who was almost on the verge of fainting. She turned back to catch her before her head hit the ground.

"Hey, are you awake?" Emilia asked.

"YES. MISAKA is awake. She simply wants to lie down to rest."

Emilia gently laid the person wearing her friend's face onto the ground and took another peak at Accelerator. He was onto ground, badly hurt, and in a fit of anger, he rose to the sky. He put both his hands into the sky. Then, with Accelerator's hands reaching the sky, a powerful gust of wind rips through the battlefield, gathering enough force to throw Touma off his feet. Touma was thrown like a ragdoll into the air, hitting a nearby wind turbine post before dropping to the ground.

Emillia held on to avoid getting flown away herself. Touma was their only hope of ever defeating the number 1 esper herself. Even if Mikoto joined the fight with Emilia, she doubted they could take the number 1 esper.

Just as Emilia was thinking of Mikoto, she showed up. She was confronting Accelerator with a Railgun ready to fire.

"What are you doing!?" Emilia screamed without thinking. She looked up at Accelerator to see what's on the edge of his hands. Emillia realized what he was doing: he was transforming the wind into plasma.

Mikoto turned around. "Emilia?" She said in surprise.

By alternating between heating the air and cooling it, she managed to create some unnatural wind in an attempt to stop Accelerator. It was no use, the wind she was creating isn't enough.

Mikoto rushed past Emilia, going into cover.

"Please." She begged her sister. "Will you help me? I'm begging you, preserve his dream!" Mikoto's tears rolled down as she tried to wake up the clone.

Then, words emerge from 10032's mouth as she slowly tries to lift herself off the ground. "MISAKA doesn't really understand what you mean. But…" Misaka 10032 held Mikoto's wrist. "Your words resonate with me."

Suddenly, Emilia felt controlling the wind a lot more effective. She wondered why, and it was until she noticed the wind turbines spinning backwards.

Accelerator realized what was going on, and yelled in a fit of anger, and confusion. "What's wrong with my calculations!? What on earth is wrong with the wind? Wind power manipulation? No… The windmills are spinning the wrong way! And…"

He turned his head to see Emilia, controlling the wind, controlling it to directly spread the plasma.

"They're both being directed to disrupt my calculations!" He turned to look at The two Misaka's come out of cover.

"I'll crush you!" He yelled. Gusts of wind emitted from him.

"Don't think so!" Emilia shouted back. She proceeded to nullify as many unnatural vectors as possible.

Accelerator proceeded to slow down the vectors, and eventually began to stop. A silence full of tension filled the area. "I don't get it. First there's a third string over there, then there's you defending a wind up doll, and finally you helping out these other third strings."

He scoffed as he started to raise his voice. "You two level 5s just can't stand the thought of me reaching level 6, huh?!"

"No. She is my sister. And this here is a best, dear friend of mine." Mikoto said firmly.

Emilia and Misaka 10032 widened their eyes in a slight, bit of surprise.

Accelerator stood there, a little stunned. However, he immediately began to laugh maniacally. "Sisters? What nonsense! Don't give me that dear friend bullshit either, level 5s only despise each other! Well, then I'll just have to kill all of you third strings to get this over with!"

Suddenly, Touma stood up. He was walking like a real zombie, wearing a bloody ripped shirt.

"Wha?" Accelerator gasped. Emilia did the same. No way a normal person would still be conscious after a beating like that.

Accelerator took a step back, but lashed out at his sudden instinct. "Interesting!" He yelled instead. "Very interesting!" He charged straight at Touma, with his ability in the works. Mikoto took a coin out of the pocket but dropped it.

He ended up at Touma's face, and Touma looked like he could barely move. He swung his right arm towards Touma's face. However, Touma ducked ever so slightly, barely avoiding the swing. So instead, Accelerator went in for a jab with his left hand. TOuma used his remaining strength to punch straight through Accelerator's fingers breaking his hand.

Touma finished it, with one last right hook.

Emilia and Mikoto saw Accelerator knocked out, on the ground. Eventually, Touma fell to the ground as well.

"Jesus. What on earth did we just see?" Emilia asked.

Mikoto said nothing.

Emilia sighed. "I guess it's over. Well, I'll see you later."

Emilia turned to leave, but she felt someone grab her shoulder. It was Mikoto. "It's not over. You still have some unfinished business, don't you? I don't know who put you up to this…"

Emilia stood there, stunned.

"They've got to pay, right?" Mikoto said with a wink.
