Welcome To G-Force.
The Railgun crew's lives had taken a drastic change. Ever since Godzilla showed up, nothing was the same anymore. Both Mikoto and Ruiko already had near death experiences with the massive monster, and not long after waking up from a coma, they were approached by two very highly placed people of Japan, who offered them a chance to join G-Force, a military branch formed specifically to counter Godzilla, in case he ever re-emerged. And as everyone already knew by now, he had indeed returned. Mikoto and Ruiko agreed to join, on the condition that Kazari and Kuroko would be allowed to join too. G-Force agreed to their terms, and now they had arrived at the main base. And safe to say they were impressed with what they saw.
"Wow..." Was all Ruiko could say.
"So much stuff... G-Force spares no expense" Mikoto said.
"Come along girls. You need to meet the commander of G-Force" Miki instructed.
They followed her until they reached a room which must be the command center. A lot of people were there, working on different things. But all of them stopped when they noticed the girls entering. Felt a little awkward to be the center of attention like this, but the girls weren't really surprised, teenagers must be a rare sight in this place. Soon a man showed up. He was a middle aged American with a mustache and a hard face. He was rather intimidating, and it was clear he had seen some things in his life.
"Are these the ones?" He asked as he looked at Miki, speaking only English.
"Yes sir, these two are the survivors of Gojira's attacks, and the other two are their friends. They only agreed to join if we allowed their friends to join us too" Miki explained.
"To think we are recruiting kids now. Any of you understand English?" The man asked.
"I do sir" Mikoto said in perfect English.
"Me too" Kuroko added, also speaking English.
"And me" Kazari finished.
Ruiko looked a little nervous. She knew some English, but she was far from fluent in it. Something the man noticed right away "Well you need to learn soon, but lucky you, G-Force is mixed with people from all over the world, so we have more than a few people who speak Japanese. But listen up girls!".
The girls quickly stood in attention.
"The name is Douglas Gordon. But you will only call me Sir, and nothing else. I am the commanding officer of this branch of G-Force, and my word is law here. Don't think for a moment just because you are kids that I will go easy on you. Here, your age or earlier status don't mean crap! You don't eat, sleep, or even scratch your assess unless I allow it. Understood!?" Gordon demanded.
"Yes sir!" The girls said, even Ruiko, she may not be fluent in English but she got what he meant.
"Good, now you will familiarize yourselves with your new comrades in due time. But for now will know some of the people in here. You already know Miki Saegusa, she will be in charge of mentally preparing you all for the hardships you are about to endure" Gordon said before motioning to a young woman with black hair next to him "This is Specialist Kenji Miku. She is one of our main technicians who monitor the global defense grid and all monster activities. A real prodigy, so you all will respect her".
"Good to meet you" Miku said with a polite bow.
Mikoto raised her hand "Can I ask a question?".
"This is not the school yard kid. Here you request permission to speak before you open your mouth" Gordon said.
Mikoto wanted to say she did just ask permission, but decided talking back to someone who was going to be her superior during her stay here wouldn't do her any favors "Permission to speak, Sir".
"Better. Permission granted" Gordon said.
"You said monsters. As in more than one?" Mikoto asked.
"Ah yes, you wouldn't be aware since Godzilla is the first giant monster that has been seen in decades. But our search teams has reported strange findings, which hints at the possibility of other Kaijus" Gordon said.
"You mean, Gojira is not the only monster out there? Sir?" Mikoto asked.
"We can't say for sure yet... mainly because the good old higher ups decided it was safer to cover up the possible existence of other monsters. Just as they covered up the possibility that Godzilla could return one day. Their excuse was that if the world knew there was giant monsters out there, let alone more than just one. It could trigger world wide panic" Gordon said.
"Forgive me sir, but that sounds wrong. Don't the people deserve to know there are monsters out there?" Mikoto asked.
"Trust me kid, I've asked myself the same question many times. But it's not for us to decide, our job is to follow orders and stop the Kaijus at any cost" Gordon said.
"Permission to speak sir" Kazari said earning a nod from Gordon "How exactly are we going to fight giant monsters? I heard the army's best efforts failed to even slow Gojira down".
Gordon smirked "You will find out soon enough. For now, let's just say that having access to the best technology in the world has it perks. We have already started working on some new toys for you, with any luck they will be finished by the time you complete your training. I read your files and already know all about what you can and can't do, so you all will receive very specific training. But since we don't have the time to put you through the normal training that normally lasts a few years, you will be put through the enhanced training. You all will be pushed to your limit and beyond, you are going to beg for death many times before you are even close to being finished. If you don't break, you have a chance, but if you lack the conviction, I will personally kick you all out of here, regardless of whatever the higher ups believe you can provide. Understood!?".
"Sir yes sir!" The girls said.
"Good. Miki will show you to your bunks, and you will change out of those stupid school dresses, and put on your uniforms, you are dismissed" Gordon said.
Miki led the girls out and brought them to where they would be sleeping from now on.
Luckily, the girls were allowed to share the same room, it has two bunk beds, and said beds didn't look nearly as nice as the beds they normally slept in. But this was the military, so everyone was going to be a challenge from now one, even sleeping. And their uniforms were made out of a black shirt and black pants, both being rather tight, but not to much. And black army boots. They were surprised G-Force had managed to provide uniforms in their size so quickly. They sure didn't waste any time.
After getting their uniforms they were brought to the mess hall to get some food. Good thing too, since they were starving. As soon as they got there, many eyes were on them, once again putting them in an awkward situation. What made it worse was that after getting their food, they noticed there wasn't a single free table. Meaning they would need to share a table with complete strangers... strangers that didn't look to willing to offer them a seat.
That was until a voice was heard "Hey kids! You can sit over here!".
They looked and saw a table where three men and two women were sitting. One of the men who had dark skin, was the one who had offered them to sit with them. Figuring they were among the first friendly people they've seen since arriving here, the girls decided to sit with them.
"Thanks for letting us eat with you" Mikoto said as she sat down with her friends.
"Sure thing kiddo. I know those looks on your faces all to well. It's nerv wrecking being the newbies in this place. My name is Randy Hernandez, the tech pro of this little group" The man named Randy said, seeming to be the youngest of the group "Come on guys, don't be rude to the girls".
"Sorry, I am Nick Tatopoulos, it's nice to meet you" One of the other guys said.
"Mendel Craven" The last man said before sneezing in his hand, he offered a hand shake, but the railgun girls moved away looking slightly grossed out.
"Craven... sorry, he is allergic to literately everything" Randy said.
"I am not! Just a few things" Craven said.
"Anyway, my name is Elsie Chapman" The red head woman said before motioning to the other female of the group "This is Monique Dupre, don't mind her, she rarely talks and never says a word more than she needs to".
"Children... ridiculous" Monique said in a cold tone with a strong French accent. The Railgun crew made a mental note to avoid making her mad.
"Nice to meet you all. So why did you help us?" Kuroko asked.
"We all know how it feels to be new here and having everyone judge you just because you aren't the same as everyone else. Not a plesant situation, so I figured you girls could need friends as quickly as possible" Randy explained.
"Thank you. Oh and my name is Mikoto Misaka, these are my friends: Kuroko Shirai, Kazari Uiharu and Ruiko Saten. She is the only one among us who is still learning to speak English better, so please be patient with her" Mikoto said.
"Hey, no worries. Monique over here is fluent in Japanese" Randy said, motioning to the French woman.
Monique looked at Ruiko and spoke in Japanese "By no means does this make us friends, and I do not child sit".
"No need to be rude" Mikoto said in Japanese.
"Or what?" Monique asked with a challenging smile.
Mikoto glared for a moment before taking a deep breath and looked at Nick before speaking English "Is she always like this?".
"Everyday. You learn to get used to it" Nick answered.
"Anyway, what landed you girls in G-Force? I heard we were getting some really young recruits, but I wasn't expecting middle schoolers" Elsie said.
"Long story short. Two of us survived meeting Gojira, and we only agreed to join if our friends here could come too" Mikoto explained.
"You came face to face with Godzilla? Wow, you already got one up on the rest of us" Randy said.
"Still, that must've been horrifying" Craven said.
"It was... but he needs to be stopped" Kuroko declared.
"That's why we are here girl. Let's hope you survive the experience" Elsie said.
"We are so gonna die..." Ruiko whispered.
"Yes, that is very likely" Monique said, earning annoyed looks which didn't bother her at all.
'Man, that woman is about as warm as an iceberg' Ruiko thought to herself.
"We will do our best to help. I am no good in a fight, but I am pretty good with computers" Kazari said.
"Well what do you know. I have a feeling you and I will get along just fine" Randy said, giving his fellow tech pro a thumbs up.
Kazari smiled at him "Thank you".
Their first day was tense, but they already made new friends, so not the worst start to their first day in G-Force. But their training would soon begin, and their lives would never be the same.
Elsewhere, a G-Force team had been sent to investigate something strange. When they arrived they noticed it looked like a massive nest. But all the eggs were destroyed... exept for one. The Egg was larger than a human, and no telling what it could contain.
"Contact command... I think we've found another Kaiju... or at least a soon to be Kaiju" The team leader said.
A lot of things were going to happen real soon.

Funny how it takes just a couple of seconds of new footage to give a kick of inspiration to make another chapter.
Yup! I did indeed bring in the H.E.A.T. Team from Godzilla: The Series. You know? The Series that was superior to the 1998 movie in every single way? And yup, as you can seen from the end of the chapter, a certain someone will show up down the line. And boy do I have fun plans for him!
