Ash's Pokemon Journey
Summary: This story is about how I think that ash's journey should have gone through, Kanto, Orange Islands, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh and Unova. Smart, a psychic and an Aura user (He'll find out about being a psyphic and Aura user later). I do not own pokemon.
Note: I am not doing the Kalos Region. So fairy pokemon and Mega Evolutions don't exist.
Chapter 75
Rubello Contest,
The Pokeringer and
The Weather Institute
Today the gang made it to Rubello Town and Ash and May were practicing for the pokemon contest tomorrow. The Rubello contest had two different rules than from the previous pokemon contests; one you had to have one ribbon to enter this contest and two you had to use a different pokemon for each round. May decided to use her Beautifly and Bulbasaur and Ash decided to use his Sableye and Torkoal. "Hey May are you sure that you want to use Bulbasaur?" asked Max. "Of course I'm sure Max," said May "Bulbasaur and I have been going some things for this contest, haven't we Bulbasaur?" Bulbasaur nodded in response. Max wasn't certain if it was okay for Bulbasaur to be in the contest yet, especially since May had caught her recently.
Meanwhile Ash was practicing with Sableye and Torkoal in an open area and Tomo was watching with Pikachu and Growlithe. "What are you going to do with Sableye Ash?" asked Tomo. "Well Sableye is a ghost type pokemon and he also knows a lot of moves so we need to think of how to make look Sableye impressive," said Ash "question is how though?" "Do you need any help?" said a voice. The voice belonged to a woman with a little girl beside her. "Who are you?" asked Ash. The woman was named Savannah and the girl beside her was her daughter Sandra. "I can't believe we are talking to Ash Ketchum mum" said Sandra. Savannah explained that she and her daughter had watched him in contests. "I enter pokemon contests too," said Savanah "to tell you the truth I'll be entering the contest tomorrow as well". "So you'll be another contest rival for me then tomorrow," said Ash "you got any ribbons yet". Savannah showed Ash a red contest ribbon, with pink-red outlines. "It's the only one I've got, so if I win the contest tomorrow it will be my second ribbon" she said. "But you will have to defeat me first" smiled Ash. Savannah asked Ash again if she could help him with Sableye and Ash accepted, so Savannah and Ash practiced together.
Late afternoon, Ash and Savanah had finished their practicing and they and Tomo and Sandra went to the pokemon center to rest their pokemon. "There you are Ash," said May "where had you and Tomo been all this time?" Ash introduced Savannah and Sandra to Brock, May and Max. "Savannah will be entering the contest tomorrow too May, so you and I have a rival to deal with" Ash said. "She's not the only rival of ours that's here" said May. May explained that Drew was here and he was competing in the contest tomorrow as well. "Then we better be on our guard tomorrow then May" said Ash.
Next day it was time for the pokemon contest. Vivian did the normal speech and introductions and then she showed off the Rubello Ribbon. The Rubello Ribbon was purple with light purple outlines. Ash, May, Savannah and Drew were waiting in the waiting room, while Brock and Tomo were in the seats with Sandra. Savannah was feeling nervous and jittery, while Ash and May were feeling calm. "Don't worry about a thing Savanah," said May, calmly, "just get and have fun in the contest". "Strange for you to say that May," teased Ash "especially since you were worse than Savanah is before". May went red in the face. "Yeah well I'm not nervous this time" she argued back. Drew was just sitting calmly in the waiting room.
The appeal rounds soon started. May got to go first, before Ash, Drew and Savanah. She ordered her Beautifly to start with sunny day and then finished it off with silver wind. Next was Savanah. She ordered her Flareon to start off with fire spin and have run through the attack with tackle; Flareon ran through the fire spin attack like going through a fiery tunnel. Then she ordered Flareon to use swift and have it hit the stars with ember. It made a creation of orange-yellow stars. Next it was Ash's turn. He ordered Sableye to start things of with using multiple shadow ball attack and then struck them with shadow claw. It created a dark purple aurora. Then at last it was Drew's turn. He had his Roselia use petal dance when it came out of the pokeball; it was like a curtain of petals before Roselia's arrival.
After the appeal rounds the result was that Ash, May, Drew and Savanah both past the preliminary rounds. For the battle results, Ash was against Drew and May was against Savanah. "I've been wanting to battle you again for a while Ash" said Drew. "Well now you've got one" said Ash. Savanah felt a bit nervous because she hadn't being in a battle for a while. "You'll do fine Savanah," said Ash "but if you like I could give you some pointers on pokemon battling since you helped me out yesterday". "Thank you Ash," said Savannah "but I'll stick with how I always battle". "Yeah Ash don't but in with Savannah" said May, a little crossly. Ash asked May if she wanted a few tips about how to battle with her Bulbasaur since he knew a lot about Bulbasaur since his Venasaur started off as a Bulbasaur. "I don't need any of your help Ash," said May, a bit rudely, "Bulbasaur is my pokemon so you mind your own business!" Ash and Brock looked at each other; it was clear to them that May was acting too overconfident. Even Drew could see that.
Soon it was time for the battle rounds. Ash sent out his Torkoal and Drew sent out his new pokemon; a Masquerain. Masquerain was the evolved form of Surskit and it was a beautiful moth-like type pokemon. Ash commanded Torkoal to use flamethrower on Masquerain, but Masquerain was a fast flyer and easily dodged the flamethrower attack. 'Masquerain certainly is a fast flyer,' thought Ash 'then I'll have to slow it down'. "Use smokescreen Torkoal". Torkoal released black thick smoke from his nostrils and shell. "Blow that smoke away with gust Masquerain" said Drew. Masquerain's smoke easily blew the smokescreen away. "Now use silver wind". Torkoal got hit by the silver wind attack. "You okay Torkoal?" asked Ash. Torkoal was okay. "Okay Torkoal use fire spin". Torkoal released a vortex of flames towards Masquerain. "Counter that with bubblebeam Masquerain" said Drew. Masquerain blew a lot of bubbles, which broke the fire spin attack apart and then they struck Torkoal. "As bubblebeam is a water type attack, Torkoal has taken a lot of damage" said Max. Max was right; Torkoal was starting to pant from that last attack. Ash could sense and feel that his Torkoal was in a lot of pain, and he knew that if Torkoal got one more hit then he would be really hurt. "I surrender" said Ash, holding up his right arm. So Drew was the winner of the battle round.
Everyone in the audience was in awed of Ash's surrender. "It's obvious that Ash knew that Torkoal couldn't take anymore right?" said Max. "That's correct," said Brock "and if there's one thing that Ash hates and that's seeing pokemon in pain". "It's true he doesn't" said Tomo. The judges were touched by Ash's surrender. "I can see that Ash is indeed a kind trainer" said Mr Contesta. "Yes he is remarkable" said Mr Suziko. "I'm always happy to see a trainer who cares about his own pokemon" said Nurse Joy. Savannah in the waiting room was touched by Ash's kindness towards his pokemon. May just stared at that. Ash congratulated Drew on his win, and Drew just smiled.
Next it was May and Savannah's turn to battle. May sent out her Bulbasaur and Savannah sent out her pokemon called a Lairon.
Tomo looked at Lairon on his pokedex: Lairon, the armor pokemon. The evolved form of Aron. For food, it digs up iron ore. It smashes its steely body against others to fight over territory.
It was nearly time for their battle to start, but there was trouble. May's Bulbasaur was really nervous and it had stage fright from seeing the big crowd of people. "Hey come on now Bulbasaur, its stage time" said May, a bit crossly. "I was afraid of this," said Brock "as May was acting overconfident in the waiting room, Bulbasaur had become upset by that but May didn't notice". "So that means May is acting like one of those cocky trainers who only care about the winning streak right Brock?" said Tomo. "That's correct" answered Brock. "This is going to end badly for May" said Max.
Max was right. At first Bulbasaur had trouble concentrating on the match because of her nervousness; she got hit by Lairon's attacks even though May had told her to dodge. Next Bulbasaur kept on hesitating when May gave her an order. Then at last Bulbasaur got severely hurt by Lairon's metal claw attack. The judges called this a loss for May. May couldn't believe this. "May your Bulbasaur was clearly not ready for this," said Mr Contesta "in a pokemon contest both the coordinator and their pokemon have to be one with each other". "That is right," said Nurse Joy "look at Ash for example; when he forfeited the match it was clear that not only did he care about his Torkoal, he was clearly one with Torkoal. You must always understand your pokemon's feelings". Hearing that made May feel very ashamed of herself; she had clearly not thought about Bulbasaur at all, only of herself. Ash saw everything in the waiting room and decided to have a talk with May.
May and Bulbasaur sat on a bench outside the contest hall. "I am so sorry Bulbasaur," she said, sadly, "I only thought about winning my third ribbon, but I didn't think about how you felt". Bulbasaur nudged May gently to cheer her up. Just then Ash turned up. "There you are" he said. "Hey Ash," sighed May "I take it you of what happened?" "Everything" answered Ash. "I'm sorry Ash," said May "you were trying to help me, but I brushed it off as if I already knew everything about my own Bulbasaur. And what's even worse is I acted like a complete fool". "Everyone, especially pokemon trainers, gets carried away with wanting to win especially when they've been on a winning streak lately," said Ash "I've seen many pokemon trainers act like that, especially new ones. And the one thing that everyone must know is that whether you're battling in a contest or gym is that bother pokemon and trainer have to be in sync with each other in order to succeed in anything. Just like I'm in sync with my pokemon when I'm battling, and also like you were in sync with Beautifly and Skitty when you won your two contest ribbons". May understood that Ash was right and thanked him. Ash suggested that they go and watch Drew and Savannah's battle and May agreed.
When Ash and May got back to the contest, they saw that Drew's Masquerain put up quite a fight against Savannah's Lairon, especially with its hidden power attack. In the end Drew won the battle and the whole contest, so he earned the Rubello Ribbon. Drew now had four ribbons, which meant he only needed one more ribbon to enter the grand festival.
That evening the gang had dinner with Savannah and Sandra at the pokemon center. May learned a lot today, especially about to always think about how her pokemon felt about things. And she promised herself to never act overconfident again.
One day it seemed to be one of those normal days and the gang was taking a break somewhere out in the open. Ash was busy dealing with his Bagon and Trapinch. Apparently Bagon and Trapinch had been battling a lot recently at Prof Oak's lab because of their eagerness to evolve. "Come on you two," Ash said to Bagon and Trapinch "I understand that you to wish to evolve, but you can't just keep on battling all the pokemon at Prof Oak's lab. You'll upset all the pokemon who live there and you give Prof Oak and Tracey a lot of trouble". Bagon and Trapinch liked Ash and didn't really want to cause trouble, but they were still desperate to evolve. "What are you going to do Ash?" asked Max, who had been watching. "Well I am going to keep these two with me for today and train them, and then I'll send them back to the lab tomorrow," said Ash "this way I can give Prof Oak and Tracey a day off from dealing with them".
Suddenly a Swablu flew towards the ground in front of Ash and Max, holding a pink hoop in its beak. "Where did this Swablu come from?" asked Ash. "Sorry that Swablu is mine" said a voice. The voice belonged to a blue haired boy. "Sorry, Swablu and I were training for the pokeringer today". The boy introduced himself as Shane and explained about the pokeringer. The pokeringer was a competition, for pokemon that can fly, held once a year in Crossgate Town. "What happens is that a small hot air balloon rises into the sky while holding a hoop ring and your pokemon has to grab the ring before the others and send it to the target and then you win". "This pokeringer sounds fun to me" said Ash. "And me" said Tomo. "And me" said May. "The pokeringer is held in Crossgate Town, where I live," said Shane "follow me and I'll show you the way".
Crossgate Town was a town somewhere up in the hills and it was said to be known for having strong winds. "So Shane, what happens if you win the pokeringer?" asked Ash. "If you win you become an honorary citizen of Crossgate Town," said Shane "and that's why people from other towns and cities want to participate here so they could become honorary citizens of the town". "So even though you live in Crossgate Town, you wish to become an honorary citizen of your town?" asked May. "Oh yes and this is my first time entering the pokeringer" said Shane. "Is there still time to sign up Shane?" asked Ash. "Yes there is," said Shane "do you want to enter too Ash?" "Yes, I think this competition will do great for my Taillow" said Ash. "I wish to enter too with my Wingull" said Tomo. "And me with Beautifly" said May. "Okay come with me, I'll take you to the registration desk" said Shane, and the gang followed him.
All the while, Team Rocket was in Crossgate Town and they heard about the pokeringer competition. "This place is obviously going to be packed with flying pokemon," said Meowth "so we should take this opportunity to steal them". "You two can do the stealing, I am going to participate in the pokeringer" said James. James explained to Jessie and Meowth that as a boy he was trained for pokeringer competitions by a past master of pokeringer. "He passed away before I had the chance to become a winner of pokeringer, and then of course I joined Team Rocket and left that past behind me. But now I have a chance of entering a pokeringer competition". "Okay, but just don't forget that you are a member of Team Rocket" said Jessie, deciding to let James have his own way.
That afternoon it was time for the pokeringer competition. Everyone was excited and all the participants were ready with their pokemon. It showed on a big TV screen that Shane and Tomo were facing each other in block A, Ash was in block B and May was in Block C. James was in block C too. James was dressed in normal clothing, instead of his team rocket outfit. Shane and Tomo were surprised that they were going to face each other in a round, but they agreed to give it all they got.
Soon the competition began and Shane and Tomo were up first. Shane sent out Swablu and Tomo sent out Wingull. Their two opponent's pokemon were Yanma and Pelipper. Tomo and Wingull did their best, but as Shane had more experience and knowledge of pokeringer Swablu easily scored a goal with the hoop. In the next round it was James and May's turn. As May was using her Beautifly, James was using his Jumpluff. The other two opponents used a Crobat and a Jumpluff. James turned out to be very good at pokeringer; when May ordered her Beautifly to blow the others away with gust, James ordered his Jumpluff to ride the gust attack after it grabbed the hoop and Jumpluff won the round. Then it was Ash's and Taillow's turn. Apart from being against a trainer with a Golbat and a trainer with a Ninjask, Ash was against a trainer named Volt who used a Volbeat that knew the move thunder. Volt was the winner of the pokeringer last year and he was certain that he would win again. But Ash proved him wrong; despite a type disadvantage of Volbeat's move thunder, Ash's Taillow didn't let that attack defeat him and then he grabbed the hoop and scored a win for Ash.
Ash, Shane and James did well in the pokeringer and they passed each round one after another. Soon it was time for the Top 4 rounds, where it was one vs one rounds. Ash beat his opponent, who used a Skarmory, but now it was time for Shane and James to face each other one on one. Being very knowledgeable of the wind, James and Shane waited for the wind. When the wing perked up, Swablu and Jumpluff flew towards the balloon for the hoop ring. But then James told his Jumpluff to stop; a cloud gave way to the sun and Swablu got blinded by the sun. Jumpluff got the hoop ring and then scored a goal. So now it was just Ash vs James in the final round.
Meanwhile Jessie and Meowth were making their move of taking everyone's flying pokemon. They were pretending to set up a clinic that wold give the flying pokemon a nice rest, after their participating in the pokeringer. "Please have all of your flying pokemon in the pokeballs," said Jessie "and I shall tell you when the pokemon are all healed up". The trainers handed their pokeballs to Jessie and went back to their seats in the pokeringer. "Shall we go and get James now?" asked Meowth. "No we'll let him finish the pokeringer," said Jessie "I understand how James had been feeling all day, so we'll pick him up after the pokeringer is over". So Jessie and Meowth started to store all the pokeballs into their balloon.
Right now Ash and James were up against each other and Taillow and Jumpluff were ready to go. James ordered his Jumpluff to use stun spore on Taillow, but Taillow blew it away with gust. "Head for the ring now Taillow" said Ash. Taillow was about to head for the ring, but then a sand storm tornado suddenly appeared and the hoop ring was trapped inside it. James was glad of this; he figured that once the tornado would dire down Jumpluff can easily grab it before Taillow could. But Ash was no idiot; he knew that James would strike once the tornado died down. He turned to his Taillow, who flew beside him. "What do you want to do Taillow?" he asked "our only chance is for you to fly through the tornado to get the hoop to won. But if you don't think that you can pull it off, then we shall wait for the tornado to subside". Taillow was willing to go through the tornado for Ash and he entered the tornado. Everyone couldn't believe that Taillow actually went into the tornado. James felt for sure that he would win now, especially since the tornado could wipe out Taillow. "You can do it Taillow, I know you can!" shouted Ash. Taillow heard Ash's words and he wasn't willing to give up either even for Ash.
Suddenly Taillow began to glow and it transformed into a bigger bird with big wings, two long tails, big claws and a tuff of feathers on its head. Taillow was now a Swellow. "Okay Swellow break that tornado apart with your wing attack" said Ash. Swellow flapped his wings hard and broke the tornado apart and then he grabbed the hoop and headed for the goal. James wasn't willing to give up; he ordered Jumpluff to use bullet seed that hit Swellow. "Use aerial ace Swellow" said Ash. Swellow picked up more speed with aerial ace and then scored the goal with the hoop ring. Ash had won the round and the whole pokeringer competition. Ash was proud of his new Swellow.
He looked at Swellow on the pokedex: Swellow, the swallow pokemon. The evolved form of Taillow. It dives at a steep angle as soon as it spots its prey. It catches its prey with sharp claws.
James was upset of his loss, but he told Jumpluff that he did his best.
Just then there was laughter coming from the sky. Jessie and Meowth were in the balloon and they picked up James. Hanging down, from a rope, from the basket of the balloon in a net was all the trainers' pokeballs. Everyone was horrified with what was happening and they ordered Team Rocket to bring back their pokeballs. Ash knew what to do; he ordered his Swellow to cut the rope with steel wing and grab the net of pokeballs. After Swellow did that, Ash ordered Pikachu to use thunderbolt on the balloon which sent Team Rocket away at once.
After that Ash and Swellow were congratulated by everyone for winning the pokeringer competition. So now Ash became an honorary citizen of Crossgate Town. And Ash's and Swellow's picture was placed on a board with other pictures of previous pokeringer winners, where it would stay forever.
After the pokeringer was over, the gang had a few surprises while on their way to Fortree City. First while Ash was training his Bagon and Trapinch they finally evolved to their second stages. Bagon evolved into a Shelgon and Trapinch evolved into a Vibrava. As Shelgon was shiny his shell was green and his skin was greyish green; a normal Shelgon's shell and skin was grey. As Vibrava was shiny instead of having green wings, green eyes and green scales on its tail like normal, he had orange wings, orange eyes and orange scales on its tail. Ash was happy that his two dragons had evolved to their second stages, and he asked them to not cause trouble at Prof Oak's lab again. Since Shelgon and Vibrava had finally evolved, they felt less impatient now so they promised to behave now. The next surprise was that one day the gang was attacked by an angry swarm of Shroomish and Breloom. But May's Torchic evolved into Combusken and Ash's Shroomish evolved into Breloom and they were able to frighten the Shroomish swarm away. And now the gang was continuing their way for Fortree City.
On the way though some peculiar happened, the weather kept on nice weather to rain, snow and then back to nice weather again. "Excuse me but what's going on here?" asked May. "I know what's going on," answered Ash "this is the work of a pokemon who's using the moves rain dance, sunny day and hail. I've seen something like this before". "Ash is right," said Brock "question is, what pokemon is doing this?" Brock's question was soon answered. A grey sort of cloud shaped pokemon appeared in front of the gang. "No way, it's a Castform!" shouted Max excitedly.
Ash looked at Castform on the pokedex: Castform, the weather pokemon. Its appearance changes with the weather. It uses the power of nature to transform in order to protect its small body.
"Are you the one responsible for this crazy weather?" asked May. "No actually it wasn't" said a voice.
The voice belonged to a male scientist, who was running up to the gang. "I do apologize the crazy weather was caused by our research" said the scientist, whose name was Bart. Beside him was a female scientist, who had a ditto on her shoulder, and she said her name was Millie. Ash stared at Millie and his power looked into her mind. 'That woman isn't a woman; she's a man,' he thought 'and something about her feels familiar to me'. Bart and Millie brought the gang to a building called the weather institute. The weather institute was a building where the researches predicted and researched the weather and they also had a machine that could control the weather. Max asked Bart if the Castform was his and Bart said it was. "Truth is we raise and look after Castform here too, they like the weather institute so they made it their home and they also help us protect it". Max was happy to hear that and hoped that maybe he would be allowed to get one for himself. Bart asked Millie to give the gang a tour of the place and Millie accepted to do so. Ash decided to keep an eye on Millie; he didn't intend to tell the others yet that she was really a man especially since he had no idea why she was pretending to be a woman.
Millie started the tour by showing the gang a room with computers and computer screens that showed what was happening outside. One screen even showed dozens of Castform flying about. "Wow you really do keep a lot of them" said May. Suddenly Ash saw a helicopter on a computer screen. "Oh-oh that's Team Aqua's helicopter!" gasped Ash, remembering seeing it last time they saw Team Aqua. "You're right Ash it is, which means that Team Aqua is here" said Ash. "Team Aqua huh?" said Millie, looking cross. Ash stared at Millie. 'Her expression of Team Aqua is the same expression that Team Magma had when they fought each other last time,' he thought 'so if I'm right then this person is really a member of Team Magma'.
Outside Team Aqua had gotten out of their helicopters and they tied up the researchers. Team Aqua's Commander Shelly was with them. "What are you after?" demanded Bart. "We are here for your research," answered Shelly "we know that you have research on the legendary pokemon Kyogre and Groudon, so we have come here for that". Bart was horrified. "You won't be taking anything, I won't let you!" he growled. He quickly passed his pass card, which held the information of the legendary pokemon, to Castform and told it to keep it run. Castform flew away as fast as it could. "After it!" commanded Shelly to the other team members.
Inside, Millie and the gang saw everything of what was going on. "We need to do something fast" said Tomo. "I can download the data on our main computer onto a disk and then delete on the computer before Team Aqua gets here" said Millie. "Okay, Pikachu and I will help the Castform that Team Aqua is chasing" said Ash. Even though Ash knew that Millie was not really who she was, his main concern now was protecting the data from Team Aqua. He would have to sort out Millie afterwards. Max and Tomo noticed that the other Castforms were being threatened by Team Aqua on the computer screen and they went off to help them. So Ash and Pikachu went off to help Bart's Castform, Max and Tomo went off with Growlithe to protect the Castforms and May and Brock stayed with Millie.
While Ash was alone with Pikachu, he told him about that Millie was really a man. "This may sound crazy Pikachu but I think that guy is a Team Magma member in disguise". Pikachu was shocked and asked Ash what they should do. "Right now we protect Castform from Team Aqua and we shall deal with that Team Magma member afterwards," answered Ash "first of I need to concentrate of trying to locate Castform's whereabouts". Pikachu stayed quiet as Ash closed his eyes to concentrate. Then, just like at Granite Cave, the blue light appeared again and it showed Ash the surroundings of the weather institute. Then he found Bart's Castform. "Okay, let's go Pikachu" said Ash. Ash kept his eyes shut but thanks to the blue light he saw and knew where he was going. Pikachu held on tight to Ash and was ready for a fight against Team Aqua.
Meanwhile Millie, Brock and May were in the main computer room and Millie was dealing with the data. May and Brock was keeping watch on the door incase Team Aqua members arrived. Millie processed the data onto a pass card and then she deleted it off the main computer. "Everything is set" said Millie. "Okay now let's go find the others" said Brock. May hoped that Ash, Max and Tomo were okay.
Right now Ash found Bart's Castform who was being chased by two Team Aqua members and a Crawdaunt. Ash ordered Pikachu to use Thunder, which knocked them out at once, and then Ash had himself, Pikachu and Castform hide in another room. "Listen I have an idea of how to fool Team Aqua" he said. He told Castform to hand him the pass card because he was going to hide it in his hat and have Castform hold a fake pass card so that Team Aqua won't get the real one". Pikachu and Castform agreed with Ash's plan so Castform gave the pass card to Ash and Ash gave Castform another pass card that was in the room. Then they came out of the hiding place and set off to get out of the weather institute.
Right now, Max and Tomo had arrived at the area where the Castforms were. Some Team Aqua members were there too and they were tormenting them with Sealeos and Corphishs. "Leave them alone!" shouted Max and he released Whismur, Shuppet and Poochyena to help out. Tomo released his Treecko, Wingull, Electrike, and Duskull to help out. Team Aqua's Sealeos and Corphishs turned out to be very strong, but Max and Tomo weren't willing to give up. "You can do it all of you!" they said together to their pokemon. Suddenly Max's Whismur and Tomo's Wingull began to glow and they started to evolve. Whismur evolved into Loudred and Wingull evolved into Pelipper. Max and Tomo were happy with that, but they this was no time for celebrating. "Pelipper use shock wave, Growlithe flamethrower, Treecko bullet seed, Electrike thunderbolt and Duskull shadow ball" said Tomo. "Shuppet use shadow ball, Poochyena dark pulse and Loudred use hyper voice" said Max. Thanks to the efforts of the pokemon, Team Aqua and their pokemon were defeated and the Castforms were safe. "We better go check on the others" said Tomo. Max agreed. The boys returned their pokemon, except Growlithe, and they and the Castforms ran off to find the others.
Soon everyone was outside, but Shelly and other Team Aqua members were still there with the researchers. "I've wasted a lot of time because of you lot today," said Shelly "so to not have me waste any more time, hand over the data or the researchers will get hurt". Shelly, being a terrible woman, planned to use the weather satellite to hurt the researchers using thunder and lightning. "Quick Ash give Castform's pass card to me" said Millie. "Sorry but you aren't getting anything from me Millie," said Ash "or as I should really call you Team magma member". Everyone went puzzled on what Ash just said. "What are you talking about Ash?" asked May. Ash ordered Pikachu to use thunderbolt on Millie. And when Millie got shocked her clothes ripped off and then she was revealed as a man with purple hair with an orange streak and he was wearing Team Magma clothing. "I noticed that you were really a guy when I first saw you," said Ash "and the look of anger you had on your face when you saw Team Aqua was the same look the other Team Magma members had the last time I saw Team Magma. The Team Magma member, known as Brodie the man of a thousand faces, was not happy that his disguise was found out. But he smirked and said that he wasn't beaten yet. He had his Ditto transform to Growlithe and then he ordered it to use flamethrower on Bart's Castform. Castform got hit and the pass card it was wearing got burned to cinders. "I have the spare copy of data that I downloaded earlier," smirked Brodie "and let me tell you Shelly I deleted the data on the main computer so you are at a loss". He quickly revealed a hidden jet pack on his bag and he and Ditto left quickly. Brodie left in such a hurry that Team Aqua didn't have the chance to do anything. "This isn't over yet, retreat all of you" Shelly said to the others. Team Aqua left in their helicopters.
The researchers couldn't believe of what had happened, especially that they had been fooled by Brodie. "What's worse is that Team Magma now has all our data on Kyogre and Groudon" said Bart. "Yes, but you haven't exactly lost it either" said Ash. He took out the pass card from his hat and he explained that the pass card that was burned was a decoy. "You are one smart trainer Ash" said Bart, who was grateful. Just then a woman came up and she introduced herself as Millie. Ash stared at her and knew that she was the real Millie. The researchers told the real Millie of what had happened with Team Aqua and Team Magma. "Goodness me," said Millie "well thank goodness that Ash saved our data then. And don't worry I will put it up on the main computer at once". The researchers were grateful to the gang for their help. "We're just sorry that Brodie managed to gain your data" said Ash. "Yes and I do fear of what they'll do with it," said Bart "I will tell Officer Jenny of what's happened and hopefully Team Aqua and Team Magma will be stopped". The gang hoped that too.
Suddenly two wild Castforms appeared and they flew in front of Max and Tomo. "Hey there" said Max. "Max and Tomo as a thank you for protecting the Castform I want you two to take those two Castform's with you" said Bart. "Do you mean it?" asked Max, in surprise. "Yes I know that those two Castforms will be happy with you" answered Bart. Max and Tomo accepted the offer and they caught the Castforms, which of course made Max very happy. After that the gang said goodbye to Millie and Bart and left the weather institute.
That evening the gang thought about today. "After what had happened makes me fear of what Team Aqua and Magma are going to do next" said May. "Me too," said Ash "but if worse does come, remember we have Rayquaza on our side to help us". It was clear to the gang that they had to now be on their guard if they ever ran into Team Aqua and Team Magma again.
I did say that Ash would start to develop his aura power more in the story, which is how he realized that the fake Millie was Brodie. I thought May's attitude was too much in the Cruisin for a losin episode so I toned it down a bit. I know James used Jessie's Dustox in the pokeringer, but I thought that if he did own a Jumpluff by that time he would use that instead. I am going to work on the pokemon destiny Deoxys movie now, so you will have to wait a while for the next chapter. Thanks to everyone's vote's Max will catch the Snorlax.
