Ash's Pokemon Journey

Summary: This story is about how I think that ash's journey should have gone through, Kanto, Orange Islands, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh and Unova. Smart, a psychic and an Aura user. I do not own pokemon.

Note: I am not doing the Kalos Region. So fairy pokemon and Mega Evolutions don't exist.

Chapter 93

Meeting the Johto Elite Four,

The Battle Pike

And a Happy day for Max

After the excitement at the pokemon reserve, the gang ran into another excitement before they reached Fuchsia City. They visited a ninja school and the students there said that someone had been stealing their berries. In the end though it had just been Jessie, James and Meowth and of course the gang did their usual thing of making them blast off. The other bit of excitement was ten wild baby Bonslys lived in the area. The Bonslys were alone and had no one to look after them, and that gave Brock an idea. He captured all ten of the baby Bonslys, sent nine of them to his brothers and sisters and one for himself. Then the gang left the ninja school and went on their way.

After arriving in Fuchsia City, May had a surprise. Her egg hatched into an Eevee and May was happy. After resting in Fuchsia City, Ash wished to visit the Fuchsia Gym. He called this a chance to see Koga and his sister Aya again. The others called that a great idea, especially Max since he wanted to see the gym. Ash and Brock remembered the way to the gym, so this time they didn't get lost on the way there. "Oh there is something you should know about the gym" Ash said to May, Max and Tomo. He and Brock explained about the dangerous traps they went through on their last visit at Fuchsia Gym. "Whoa," said Max "I have heard that the Fuchsia gym leader is a ninja, but seriously that sounds a bit off the top". "Yes so we must be very careful when we enter the gym" said Brock.

When they got there Aya was standing outside. "Oh Ash and Brock," she said "I didn't expect to see you here". "It's been a while Aya" said Ash. He introduced Aya to May, Max and Tomo. "How's Koga?" asked Brock. "He's been well," said Aya "as the matter of fact something really good as happened to him". "Really, what's happened?" asked Ash. Aya smiled. "Come on in and he can tell you himself" she said. The gang was curious to know what Aya meant so they followed her into the gym. Aya showed the way so that the gang wouldn't fall into any traps. When they reached the room, where the battle field was, there was a surprise waiting for them in there.

In there were three people standing with Koga on the battle field of the gym. There was a purpled haired man, wearing a suit and a mask over his eyes, a woman with silver-blue hair, and another man with brown hair and he looked very muscular. "No way!" gasped Max "it's Will, Karen and Rocky of the elite four in Johto". "Max is right" said Brock. He, Ash and Tomo never saw them while they were in Johto, but they saw them in the papers before. "Ah Ash it has been a while" said Koga, once he saw the gang. "It's nice seeing you again Koga," said Ash "but what are the elite four members of Johto doing here?" Koga smiled. "Because I'm a new member of the elite four in Johto" he said. Koga explained that about a year he got promoted to be a new member of the elite four because the other member had left to settle down with his family. Koga was the poison type member of the elite four, Will was psychic, Karen was dark and Rocky was rock. "We've heard about you kids from Koga and the elite four members of Kanto and Hoenn" said Karen. "Especially you Ash," said Will "Lance told us of how you helped stop Team Rocket in Johto and Team Aqua and Magma in Hoenn". Ash smiled in embarrassment. "I find it a pity though that Tomo, Brock, Misty, and I didn't get to meet you when we were in Johto" he said. "Never mind," said Rocky "we have met now". "So Koga," said Brock "if you're a Johto elite four member, who's running the gym now?" "I am" said a voice from behind the gang.

The voice belonged to a purple haired girl, dressed up in a ninja outfit. Koga introduced the girl; her name was Janine and she was his daughter. "I take it you use poison type pokemon too Janine?" asked Ash. "Oh yes, I love poison type pokemon like father does," said Janine "and I'm happy being the new gym leader the Fuchsia City. Actually Ash, if it's okay with you I would like to battle you. I've heard from father and aunt Aya about what a strong trainer you are, so I wish to battle you to see how strong you are". Ash saw nothing wrong with that and agreed. The others thought it would be great to see how Janine battled, and Will, Karen and Rocky wanted to see the battle too.

So Ash and Janine got ready for battling, the gang and the elite four watched from the side and Aya became the referee. The battle was to be a one on one battle. Ash called out Pikachu to battle and Janine called out an Ariados to battle. "Let's go Pikachu," said Ash "use thunderbolt". "Use string shot to dodge Ariados" said Janine. Ariados used string shot and went up to the ceiling, dodging Pikachu's thunderbolt. "Spider web Ariados" said Janine. Ariados made spider webs on the ceiling and jumped from one spider web to another. "I know this tactic," said May "Harley did this to me with his Ariados at the Saffron contest". "Yes and it's obvious that Janine knows that tactic too" said Brock. Pikachu watched Ariados jump from web to web. "Use swift Pikachu" said Ash. Pikachu fired swift attack towards the ceiling; the stars broke the webs and struck Ariados, making it fall back onto the ground. Janine was surprised with what just happened. 'Ash is more impressive than I thought' she thought 'but I'm not defeated yet'. "Ariados use night shade" she said. Ariados fired night shade towards Pikachu. "Dodge that with quick attack Pikachu" said Ash. Pikachu dodged the night shade and slammed into Ariados. "Use poison sting Ariados" said Janine. "Use thunderbolt Pikachu" said Ash. Pikachu dodged Ariados' poison sting attack and electrocuted it with thunderbolt. "Finish this with iron tail Pikachu". Pikachu whacked Ariados hard with iron tail and Ariados fell down in defeat. So Ash was the winner of the battle.

Janine returned her Ariados and walked up to Ash. "Father and aunt Aya were right about you Ash, you are one strong trainer" she said. "You're strong too Janine" said Ash. He felt that Janine was a good gym leader for the Fuchsia Gym. Will, Rocky and Karen were impressed with Ash. "I hope we will get to battle you in the future kid" said Rocky. "I hope so too" said Ash. The truth is Ash did wish he could win a pokemon league and challenge the elite four; he would love to have a chance to challenge the elite four for real.

With the battle over, the gang decided it was time to leave. They said goodbye to Koga, Aya, Janine, Will, Rocky and Karen and went on their way.

Today the gang was finally near the next battle facility; the Battle Pike. Right now they had finished up in a pokemon center. Brock had to tend to his baby Bonsly who was hungry; Brock had become a real pokemon parent now. "I wonder how your brothers and sisters are doing with their baby Bonslys?" said Ash. "Well my mum and dad said it's like having more children," chuckled Brock "but my brothers and sisters love their Bonslys a lot". "Hey since we are heading for the Battle Pike, I wonder when Scott is going to turn up?" said Tomo. He remembered Scott turning up when they arrived at the other battle facilities. "That's a good question Tomo," said Ash "but he'll soon turn up. We are where the Battle Pike is anyway". Just then Max turned up with May; May had been showing her newly hatched Eevee the ocean and explaining to it about pokemon contests. "We heading for the Battle Pike now?" asked Max.

Ash was just about to answer Max's question, but three women came up to the gang. "Which one of you is Ash Ketchum, the challenger of the battle frontier?" asked a blond woman named Barbara. "I am," answered Ash "are you here to guide us to the Battle Pike?" "Yes, Queen Lucy asked us to greet you and guide you to her" said Barbara. "Then I got here just in time" said a voice; it was Scott.

The three women led Scott and the gang to the Battle Pike. The Battle Pike building was a temple and it had a big picture of a Seviper on it. It gave Ash a thought that a Seviper would probably be used in the battle. A woman with long black hair was standing outside the Battle Pike. "Ash this is the battle frontier of the Battle Pike Lucy, also known as the pike queen" said Scott. Ash introduced himself to Lucy and asked her for a battle. Lucy accepted. Just then she noticed Brock. Brock couldn't take his eyes off Lucy because he thought she was beautiful. Once Brock realized that Lucy was looking at him, he quickly looked away blushing. Lucy stared at Brock and a faint blush came onto her face. This meant that Brock and Lucy started to have little crushes with each other. "I'm ready for the battle when you are Lucy" said Ash. Lucy quickly came back to her senses and everyone entered the Battle Pike.

Inside the battle field was a big pond with green patches. The referee explained the battle was a two on two pokemon battle and declared the battle to begin. Lucy sent out her first pokemon, a Seviper. Ash's thought about Lucy using a Seviper was right. Ash sent out Donphan to battle. "Ash should have the advantage with Donphan since it's a ground type right?" asked May. "It's true that ground beats poison, but let's see what happens between Donphan and Seviper" said Scott. Ash started off and told Donphan to use horn attack. Donphan charged towards Seviper. "Seviper use poison tail" said Lucy. Seviper got ready to hit Donphan with poison tail. "Quick use iron defense Donphan" said Ash. Donphan's body turned into iron and blocked Seviper's poison tail attack. "Nice one" said Tomo. "Yeah that iron defense is great" said Max. "Okay Donphan use ice shard" said Ash. Donphan fired ice shard and the ice shards hit Seviper. Scott was amazed that Ash's Donphan knew ice shard and Barbara couldn't believe it either. Ash told Donphan to use ice shard again, but Seviper used flamethrower and stopped the ice shard attack. "Now Seviper use poison tail" said Lucy. Seviper used poison tail and hit Donphan. Ash could see that Lucy and her Seviper were good. "All right Donphan use rollout" he said. Donphan rolled towards Seviper to tackle it, but Seviper dodged and blew flamethrower at it. The flamethrower did hit Donphan, but as Donphan was a ground type the flames didn't hurt him much. Donphan continued rolling and he tackled Seviper. "Now use ancient power Donphan" said Ash. Donphan fired ancient power and the attack hit Seviper. Seviper was getting hurt by the minute. "Let's now finish this off with giga impact" said Ash. "Use poison tail Seviper" said Ash. Donphan charged towards Seviper and Seviper got its poison tail ready. The two pokemon attacked each other with their attacks. But Donphan had more power than Seviper and Seviper fainted from the giga impact attack.

So Ash was the winner of the first round, but he still needed to defeat one more of Lucy's pokemon to win. Lucy's last pokemon was a Milotic. Ash knew that his Donphan was a huge disadvantage against Milotic, but his Donphan knew a move that could beat water pokemon. "Donphan use seed bomb" he said. Donphan fired seed bomb at Milotic, but Milotic used protect and the seeds didn't hit it. "Ash's pokemon amaze me every time I see them" said Scott, who was surprised with Donphan knowing seed bomb. "Ash's pokemon have learnt many moves from all the pokemon at Prof Oak's ranch" explained Brock. "My pokemon have too" said Tomo. Lucy ordered her Milotic to use hydro pump. Donphan tried to dodge, but the hydro pump hit him before he could and he fainted.

So now both Ash and Lucy were down to one final pokemon each. Ash sent out Raichu to battle next. "I wonder why he's decided to use Raichu instead of Pikachu?" said May. "Well Milotic is a big strong pokemon," said Brock "so Raichu may have a better advantage over Pikachu. But then again Ash may still have trouble with battling Lucy's Milotic". Ash started off by telling Raichu to use charge and Raichu started boosting up his electricity. "That's one of Raichu's egg moves," said Tomo "Raichu has the egg moves charge and volt tackle. Pikachu only has the egg move volt tackle". "Since charge boosts up an electrical attack next move, Milotic is going to be in trouble when Raichu uses an electric move" said Max. Scott was interested in what will happen next. "Hydro pump Milotic" said Lucy. "Dodge that and use thunderbolt Raichu" said Ash. Raichu dodged Milotic's hydro pump attack before it could hit him, and then he electrocuted Milotic with thunderbolt. Thanks to charge, Raichu's thunderbolt was stronger than normal and Milotic got a lot of damage. "That was great" smiled Max. "I'm so going to have my Plusle and Minun use charge the next time I use them in battle" said May. Milotic was hurt but it was still willing to battle. "Use iron tail Milotic" said Lucy. "Go with volt tackle Raichu" said Ash. Milotic and Raichu charged at each other with their attacks. After the two pokemon striked each other with their attacks, Milotic fell down in defeat; that last electrical attack was too much for it to continue battling. So Ash was the winner of the match.

Lucy returned her Milotic, told Ash that it was a good battle and handed him the frontier symbol. This frontier symbol was called the Luck symbol and it had a hexagon shape. Scott was very impressed with how Ash battled and said he looked forward to see Ash's next frontier battle. While Scott talked to Ash, Brock walked over to Lucy and asked her, in whisper, for her number and email address. Lucy blushed and told him, in whisper, and then Brock told her his email address. This was the start of a relationship for Brock and Lucy; they had developed crushes for each other.

So by the end of the day Ash had won his fourth symbol and Brock had found a girlfriend.

Today the gang was taking a break at a pokemon center. Tomo was checking his pokemon Growlithe, Electabuzz, Magmar, Jynx, Natu and Beldum. Brock was checking out if he had any emails from Lucy. Ash was teasing Brock a bit about it; he found out that Brock and Lucy had a crush on each other and was now boyfriend and girlfriend. May was thinking about what pokemon she would use in the next pokemon contest. As for Max, well he was thinking about wanting to catch new pokemon for himself; he hadn't captured any new pokemon since he captured his Zangoose. And since Ash, Tomo, Brock and May have obtained new pokemon, he started to feel it wasn't fair.

So he decided to go find and catch new pokemon for himself. He told the others that he wanted to catch a new pokemon for him-self and left the pokemon center. May thought she should go with him to keep him save, but the boys told her not to. "Max well be okay May," said Brock "he's got pokemon with him to keep him save, so there's no need to worry". "And besides May," said Ash "Max will go on his own journey once he turns ten, so catching a pokemon on his own will be an experience for him till he does become a real trainer". May agreed that Ash and Brock were right about that. Just then Nurse Joy told May there was a phone call for her from Petalburg City. "I hope nothing is wrong at home" said May. She went to the phone to answer it.

Meanwhile Max was looking for pokemon and he had Whismur and Ralts with him. "Keep an eye and ear out you two," Max said to his pokemon "you can never tell when wild pokemon will appear". Suddenly some bushes started to rustle, and then a Rattata and a Raticate came out. "Hey Rattata and Raticate, I can catch two pokemon instead of one" said Max. He ordered Ralts to use confusion on Rattata and Whismur to use stomp on Raticate. Ralts' confusion attack held Rattata in the air and then made it crash onto the ground and Whismur stomped on Raticate hard. "Finish this off with magical leaf Ralts". Ralts fired magical leaf at Rattata and Raticate, and the two rat pokemon got hurt. Max then threw two empty pokeballs and Rattata and Raticate were soon caught. Max cheered and jumped for joy and so did Ralts and Whismur. "Let's go back to the others and tell them of our capture" Max said to his pokemon.

Max ran back to the pokemon center and told the others that he captured Rattata and Raticate. "Good for you Max, you captures two pokemon in one day" said Ash. May walked over to Max. "Hey Max," she said "I just got a phone call from mum and something has happened with your Snorlax". "What?" said Max "what's wrong is she sick?" "No nothing like that," said May "it's just well your Snorlax has adopted two Munchlaxs as her own kids. Mum explained the two wild Munchlaxs got in dad's greenhouse and Snorlax found then and looked after them as if they're her own. So mum and dad want to know if you want to have the Munchlaxs". "I course I do," said Max, suddenly "there's no way I'm letting this chance, of me having my own Munchlax, get away". Max phones his parents at once and told him that he wanted to keep the two Munchlaxs. Caroline and Norman understood Max's decision and said they would look after the Munchlaxs till he and May came home again.

So today was a happy for Max because he had finally obtained new pokemon like the others.

Sorry for the wait. I liked the luckshipping, the love of Brock and Lucy. Now I know that in the games Kanto and Johto were combined as one which is why the elite four in gold and silver and the remakes were still called the Kanto elite four. But in the anime they didn't have Kanto and Johto combined together that much really, so I decided to add in Koga, Will and Karen as the Johto elite four, and the fourth member Rocky is my own made up elite four member. Since they haven't done a rock type member of the elite four in the games yet, I decided to make Rocky the rock master of the elite four in Johto.
