ACP sir uttered shockingly : S..sir ( he touched his cheek with totally appalled expressions and was trying to believe what had just happened )...
DIG sir in teary anger : ACP tum soch bhi sakte ho kya ho sakta tab aise hi apne bete ko ghar se bahar nikal diya raat ko bina soche samjhe ( In painful teary tone ) bhagwan na kare Kartik time pe na pahuncha to ( his body shivered with the mere thought that his 15-year-old nephew would be kidnapped by the goons if Kartik would not have saved him )
DIG sir rubbed his hands on his face to calm himself while ACP uttered in guilt : Sir mujhse bahut badi galti….

DIG sir angrily : Kya chodu haan ( In painful tone ) agar bhagwan na kare us din kuch ho jata to kya karte hum log sirf indono ki vajah se ( In moist teary tone ) agar vo log kuch kardete tumko to kya karte hum haan ( In rash and moist tone ) aur sabse zyada dukh na indono ko hi hota achche se pata hai mujhe…
He went near Kartik and joined his hands in front him…

ACP sir hurriedly : Par mujhe apne bete se maafi mangni hai abhi sir…
DIG sir in teasing anger : Ab bahut beta yaad aa gaya phele yaad nahi aayi iski jab ghar se bahar nikal rahe the….
ACP looked at him with teary eyes while he just ignored him and pushed him aside .
DIG sir strongly : Chalo Abhi !
Abhijeet tried to say something but he added strongly : Kuch nahi sunna hai mujhe chalo chup chap zara si bhi izzat karte ho na meri to chalo….( Abhijeet nodded silently with down head )
He dragged him while Arpita clutched ACP'S arms in extreme pain who looked away hiding his teary eyes….
Arpita in crying : ACP sahab voh Abhi…
She burst into tears while the ACP side hugged her and added in a moist teary tone : Bahut dard dediya humne Arpita apne bachche ko…..
He clutched the side table in pain while Arpita was crying harshly in his protective shell….
Arpita in tears : Bahut zyada ( she closed her eyes in pain and added in tears ) bhagwan na kare agar usko kuch ho jata us din to kya karte hum ( both shivered a bit with the thought )
….Kartik looked both in pain and tears….
ACP added in tears and joined his hands in front of him : Thank You beta ( Arpita too joined her hands while he instantly downed their hands ) tumhari vajah se hi meri aankho ke samne tha vo…aur agar tum na hote us din ( he choked with the thought and looked away to compose himself )...
Arpita in painful tears : Beta tumhari vajah se hi mera Abhi humare pass hai aur aaj bhale hi naraz hai par sahi salamat hai jis din se humne kiya hai us din se pachta rahe hai beta ( she started crying silently )...
Kartik looked at them in tears and added : Abhi bhi aapko bahut miss karta tha uncle aunty ( ACP and Arpita looked at each other with tears while he assured them ) aap chinta mat karo mai hun na main samjhaunga usko aur dekhna bahut jaldi aapka beta aapke pass hoga….
ACP and Arpita smiled moistly while ACP added in tears : Beta bilkul pressure mat daalna usko jitna time lena hai lene dena hum bardasht nahi kar payenge vapas vo humare vajah se roye….
Kartik looked at them in pain while Arpita added in crying : Us din ka beta mujhe bahut intezar rahega jab mera beta vapas mumma kehke bulayega mujhe ( In pain ) kab mai apne bachche ko gale laga sakungi…
ACP in pain hugged her while Kartik looked at both in pain and tears….
After few moments ,
Both composed themselves a bit while ACP added in pain : Dhayan rakhna beta Abhi ka….
Kartik nodded at him obediently while ACP patted his shoulder lightly and both went from there….
In DIG sir's room :
DIG made Abhijeet sit on the bed while he was moving to and fro and grumbling angrily…
DIG sir murmured angrily : Dimag ghas charne gaya tha iss ACP ka bada aaya huhh ( jerked his head angrily ) vaise to bada ACP banta hai par harkate haye ram gadha kahin ka…
Abhijeet despite trying a lot smiled a bit on "gadha kahin ka"...
DIG sir raised his eyes a bit and added sternly : Hasna band karo abhi ke abhi ( Abhijeet instantly shut his mouth while he started grumbling angrily ) ek tumhara baap ek din mujhe heart attack dilvake rahega jab bhi baat karta hai mera BP badh jata hai aur tumhari maa behen meri hai par sath uska deti hai…
He jerked his head in annoyance while Abhijeet thought ( pov ) : Abhijeet kuch bolna khatre se khali nahi hai pata chale un dono ke sath tujhe bhi na lapatle ye aur tu to samne hi betha hai tune to pakka pit jana hai inse aaj chup rehne mein hi bhalayi hai teri…
DIG sir in angry tone : Dimag kharab kar rakha hai tumhare baap ke karnamo ne ( in angry tone ) aise bhi koi karta hai apne bete ko ghar se bahar nikal diya bass isliye vo cricket khelna chahta tha ( In angry tone ) vaise bhi jab se tum paida hue ho tabse sunta aa raha hun mera beta ye vo par ek jhatke mein hi kahan gaya vo pyar haan….
Abhijeet downed his head , some tears came in his eyes while DIG's heart pinched seeing tears in his eyes…
DIG sir sat beside him and added softly : Kya hua hmm ab kyun ro raha hai mera tiger ( Abhijeet did not speak anything while DIG softly lifted his chin and added lovingly ) Aise mera tiger royega to uski tiger vali personality ka kya hoga…. ( Abhijeet chuckled a bit while DIG hugged him tightly.. )...
DIG sighed and the memory of the most horrific day resonated in his mind . The day when he returned from Delhi but came to know about the shocking truth….
Flashback :
In Mumbai Airport :
Flight landed after 2 hours and 30 minutes while a person in his mid-40s came out of the airport . He was wearing a three-piece suit while happiness and excitement was beaming through his eyes...
DIG sir ( excitedly ) : Aaj pure 3 din ho gaye mujhe gaye hue ( with a sweet and excited smile ) aur 2 din se tiger se koi baat hi nahi hui uska boards ka result bhi aana tha par ( In sweet anger ) ye hai ki bataya nahi mujhe ab iske kaan kheenchuga akal aajaye taki thikane huhh (with a disappointed tone ) bichara batata bhi kaise phone to band kar rakha tha maine aur meetings vagrah mein contact karne ki permission kahan thi mujhe ( with a cute smile ) aur aaj to pura din jee bhar ke uske sath cricket khelunga ( In annoyed tone ) aur agar uske baap ne zara si bhi chonch ghusai na to dekhlena kya haal karunga uska bada aaya huhh….
He smiled disappointedly on his thoughts , jerked his head . He hurriedly sat inside the cab and gave the address to the driver of the place . Driver started the car while DIG was looking outside with a sweet and excited smile…
In Car :
DIG sir ( pov ) : Aur dekhna vo apna gift dekhke kaise uchlega ( softly fondling the bat which was wrapped in a sparkling wrapper ) aur jab usko ispe autograph dikhega Sachin ka tab dekhna uski khushi ka koi thikana hi nahi rahega ( with a sweet smile ) kabse usko Sachin ka autograph chahiye tha par ( with a sad face ) kabhi milla hi nahi Abhi ko Sachin se milne ka mauka ( with a excited yet happy smile ) vo to jis hotel mein main tha usme Sachin bhi the aur maine autograph leliya apne ( with love ) tiger ke liye ( loudly in annoyance ) Driver kitna dheere chalate ho tum thoda tez chalao na….
Driver in shock : Sir Traffic to dekho aap meri taxi hai aeroplane nahi….
DIG sir in annoyance : Theek hai theek hai par jaldi chalao yaar baate band karo aur chalao…
Driver looked at him in shock from the mirror as he was getting scolded without any reason…
DIG sir ( pov ) : grinning broadly ) Aaj to mai apne Tiger ke sath milke uske baap ko itna tang karunga na bichara pareshan hoke ghumega pura din ( he laughed lightly on his idea and added with an excited smile ) aur humesha ki tarah hum milke prank karke usko tang karenge firr pura time chidke aur muh fulake betha rahega apni file mein sar ghusake….
After a few minutes , they entered inside the big and lavish bungalow with a garden surrounding from every side which was converted into a small cricket field by his nephew . He chuckled softly as the garden was filled with stumps and balls . A person looking at the bungalow could clearly make out that this bungalow belongs to a cricketer…
He paid the money to the cab driver and rang the doorbell….
After the door was opened by a servant ,
In ACP sir's house :
Arpita in confused-stern tone from inside : Kaun hai…
Before the servant could say , anything DIG shouted in excitement : Tera bhai hai….
Listening to his voice , Arpita looked at ACP with tensed expressions while ACP sir looked at her with the same angry expressions that he plastered on his face for three days but was surely very heart wrenching for him as he was trying to hide his feelings since then . Arpita sighed helplessly as she was a mother and she surely couldn't hide her emotions….
DIG shouted excitedly : Abhi kahan ho beta ( with an excited sweet smile ) mujhe apne tiger se milna hai bachche aao yahan pe ( In excited sweet smile ) aur firr hum dono bahut masti karenge aur dekho ( Jumped excitedly with joy ) jab tum apna gift dekhoge to khushi se kudoge….
But he got no response from the other side , he felt something unusual as ; Earlier , when he used to call his nephew like this he always comes running in excitement but this time he only received dead silence from the other end….
He really became confused but after a few minutes he smiled softly seeing Arpita and ACP coming….
DIG sir in confused smile : Abhi ghar pe nahi hai kya kabse bula raha hun aa hi nahi raha ( Both looked away while he added with a smile ) khelne gaya hai kya ( patted his forehead ) Main bhi kitna bada buddhu hun academy gaya hoga janab vahin to milenge hum sabko….( picked his phone to call him and added with a smile ) call karke bulata hun usko tin din se janab se milne ka intezar kar raha hun ab ( with an excited smile ) aur nahi raha jaa raha usse milne ko aur to aur ( with a sweet smile ) Sachin ke autograph vala bat laya hun uske liye kitna khush ho jayega humara Abhi….
ACP and Arpita looked at each other and sighed while ACP went forward and snatched his mobile…
DIG sir in anger : Kya kar rahe ho ACP phone do mera mujhe call karni hai Tiger ko ( ACP nodded in no while he added in confused-anger ) kya nahi phone karna hai mujhe kya bekar ka time waste kar rahe ho…
Arpita in low tone : Phone karke kya fayda bhai ( DIG looked at her in confusion while she added ) phone to ghar pe hi hai….
DIG sir made an oh face and added in disappointed-anger : Phone cheene ki kya zarurat thi ( In tease ) bol nahi sakte the muh mein dhai jama li thi tumne….
ACP glared him hard while he added hurriedly : Academy mein hai le aata hun firr…
He took two steps forward but Arpita added in a low tone : Academy mein nahi hai…
DIG sir turned back and added in a confused tone : Kahan hain firr…
Both looked away while he shouted in anger : Bologe dono ke dono jab se faaltu suspense create kar rakha hai…( added in anger ) kya hua hai mere pichche se ( In fear ) theek thak to hai na….
ACP sir in anger : Kuch aap ke bhanje ne hone ko choda hai kya…
DIG sir in shocking-anger : Ye kis tarah se baat kar rahe ho tum ( In anger ) dimag theek hai kya tumhara…
ACP sir in anger : Haan bilkul theek hai…
DIG looked at him with shocking expressions and turned to Arpita who was still looking away…
DIG sir in extreme anger : Dono ke dono bologe ki kya hua hai…( Arpita shivered a bit with his loud tone while he banged his hand on the nearby table harshly ) bolo I said….
ACP sir in anger : Haan bata raha hun do din se ghar par nahi hai ( DIG looked at him with appalled expressions ) maine nikala hai usko ghar se bahar…
DIG sir in shocking-anger : Kyun par puri baat batao….
ACP narrated everything that happened two whereas DIG's expressions changed from shocking to extreme angry . He looked at ACP with red angry eyes while Arpita was shocked seeing his red-fiery eyes…
DIG sir in extreme anger grabbed his collars and added : Dimag kharab hai tumhara ACP ( he pushed him harshly while ACP recoiled back due to force but Arpita held him in time )...
ACP sir stood steady on his feet and added in anger : Sir kya kar rahe ho aap…
DIG sir shouted : Kya kar raha hun jo bhi kar raha hun na theek kar raha hun ( clapped sarcastically in anger ) ek chote bachche ke sath aise behave karne mein bhi sharam nahi aayi tumko ( added in extreme anger ) tin din ka wait nahi hota tha tumse main le chalta usko apne ghar humesha ke liye ( ACP looked at him with same angry expressions while he added in teasing anger ) tum dono maa baap banne ke layak hi nahi ho ( ACP and Arpita looked at him in shock )
Arpita added in a shocking tone : Bhai aap kya bol rahe ho aapko samajh bhi aa raha hai…
DIG sir in teasing anger : Ye bahut sahi hai mujhe chup karwao tum aur jisko karana chahiye tha uske samne kuch nahi bola tumne jo man kiya uska karta gaya ( Arpita looked down while he added in extreme sarcastic anger ) oh I am sorry madam aap bhi to uske sath hi the ye kaise bhool gaya aapne bhi to sath diya hai uska sahi hai…
ACP sir in anger : Usne mera sath diya kyunki main sahi tha ( added in anger ) kya galat kaha tha maine yehi kehta tha na ki ye khel kud chodke koi dhang ka kaam karle par nahi ( In teasing anger ) sahab ka jo man kare karna hai ye bhi nahi socha ki uske baap ki reputation pe kya asar padhega iss sabka log kya kahenge ki ACP ka beta ek nikamma…
Listening to this DIG shouted at the top of his voice : Pradyumann ek shabd bhi bola na mere Abhi ke baare mein kya karunga tumhara ye main bhi nahi janta….( Both were shocked at his temper while he shouted at extreme anger ) tumko sirf apne reputation ka padha hai na soch to lo bolne se phele kya bole jaa rahe ho apne bete ke baare mein bol rahe ho tum ( banged his hand on table harshly ) jo man mein aaye bolte jaa rahe ho sirf ( In teasing anger ) log to apne bachcho ki khushi ke liye kya kya karte hai aur tum ho ki ek dum ulte apne hisab se apne bete ko chalana chahte ho uske ( In painful anger ) sapne cheenke apni marzi thopna chahte ho ( In proudness ) aur I am very happy ki usne jo decision liya ek dum theek liya itna proud feel ho raha hai apne Tiger pe kya batau log to family pressure mein aake apne sapne chod dete hai par Tiger ne bahut achcha kiya tum dono ke against jake ( Pointing his finger towards both of them and added in stern-anger ) shart lagata hun dono se mera Abhi India ki team mein dikhega ek din aur main sath hun uske har faisle mein ( In extreme anger ) dekhna aur jab India ko uska phela World Cup milega tab humara Abhi khel raha hoga aur jeetake aayega …..
ACP sir firmly : Aise kuch nahi hone vala sir…
DIG sir in anger : Aise hoga Pradyuman bahut jaldi hoga sirf tin saal baki hai world cup ke liye aur dekhna uske baad humara Abhi ( In teasing-sarcastic tone ) Oops ! sorry sorry mera Abhi tum dono ne to sare rishte nate tod rakhne hai to bolne ka kya fayda….( With an extreme proud smile ) Dekhna meri guarentee hai ki Abhi cricket team mein zarur pahunchega mujhe pura vishwas hai apne Tiger pe ( In sarcastic smile ) Aur dekhna tin saal baad usse baat karne ko bhi tarsoge jab mera Abhi tum logo ko ignore karega jaise tumne ignore kiya hai usko ( With a moist smile ) Bachpan se hi unexpected kaam karta aa raha hai Abhi aur dekhna is baar bhi unexpected karega jo bhi uske sath nahi hai sabka muh band hojayega…
ACP sir in anger : Dekhte hai kya hota hai…
DIG sir nodded his head with a disappointed-anger : Pradyuman bahut pachtaoge dekhna aur tum ( turned towards Arpita) isse kya umeed rakhu tumne bhi yeh kiya ( With a sad smile ) tumse ye umeed nahi thi Arpita tumne apne bete se rishta toda na ( In firm tone ) Ab ek meri baat suno ab jo main karunga na vo tum humesha yaad rakhogi aaj se ( Looked away ) bhai nahi hun main tumhara…
Arpita was shocked and recoiled a bit back in extreme shock while ACP added firmly : Sir soch bhi rahe hai aap kya bole jaa rahe ho…
DIG sir in sarcastic smile : Tum logo ne socha tha bolne se phele , ye bhi nahi aaya tumhari vajah se koi kitna hurt ho raha hai ( smirked at them ) to main kyun sochu jo hurt hota hai hone do mai kya kar sakta hun ( Arpita looked at him with teary eyes ) aise mat dekho mujhe in aansu se kuch nahi hone vala ye bahana Abhi ke samne tin saal baad taki vo maaf kare tumlogo ( In declaring tone ) and I will make sure that you both will endure same pain that you have given to my child ( with a teasing-excitement ) dekhna us din kitna maza aayega jab tum dono ko apni kartuto pe pachtava hoga sahi hai kehte hai na Tit for Tat sabko apne karnamo ka hisab chukta karna padhta hai chaye vo koi hi kyun na ho…
Both did not dare to speak anything but he added in extreme anger , with red eyes and clenched his fists in anger : Itna bhashan de chuka hun ek aakhiri baat sun lo agar kuch bhi hua mere bachche ko dekhna kya haal karta hun tum dono ka ( pointing the finger towards both ) ye to mujhe bhi nahi pata tum dono ka kya hoga uske baad... ( with red fiery eyes ) sahi mein ACP bahut ghamand hai na tumhe apne pe dekhna bahut jaldi tutega ye ( To Arpita ) dekhna abse baat nahi karunga tumse kabhi bhi ab bass ( pushed his hands in his pockets and declared while looking away ) tin saal baad milenge vapas tab tak sirf professional relation hai humare beech kuch nahi lagte tum dono mere aaj se bass ACP sirf ek junior ho tum mere liye aur ( To Arpita ) tum bass ek junior ki wife isse zyada kuch nahi….
Arpita looked at him with teary eyes as she was hell shocked by his last statement while ACP looked at him with wide shocked eyes...
DIG sir laughed teasingly : Bhai aise mat dekho mujhe pighalunga nahi jab tum log ko taras nahi aaya pandrah saal ke bachche pe to mujhe kyun taras aayega tum dono pe ( In teasing tone ) bahut maza aaya hoga itna lamba chauda bhashan sunke ( With a smirking tone ) Bass remember my words you both were going to regret badly your deeds…. .( laughed lightly and added smirkingly ) your overconfidence will be scattered like pile of cards ACP... ( In laughing tone ) bahut jaldi tumhare samne hoga TV pe dekhna world cup ka phela match jab Abhijeet khel raha hoga aur ye pura desh uske liye cheer kar raha hoga and then kaafi pachtava hoga jab tum ye tak nahi bol paoge ki ye mera beta hai….
ACP looked at him with stern expressions while he added in pain-anger : Jaa raha hun usko dhundhne aur dhund ke nikalunga ( with firm-declarative tone ) aur chinta mat karo yahan nahi bhejunga apne sath lejaunga usko…. ( added in painful tone ) bojh nahi banega tum dono pe….
ACP was shocked at his last line and added in anger : Bojh aap soch bhi kaise sakte ho humare upar bojh tha Abhi kabse bakwas sun raha hun iska matlab ye nahi kuch bolunga nahi ( DIG looked at him with a teasing smile while he added in anger ) bhalayi hi chahta hun main apne bete ki…
DIG sir clapped sarcastically and added in tease : Wahh ! bhai beta hadd hai tumhari ACP bhi bade aaye beta kehne vale phele baap banna to sikhlo...
DIG stamped his feet in anger for once and left the house after banging the house door for once…
