Chapter 26 :
Two days passed in quick succession while it remained totally unchanged for the parents who were just praying to god that their son would return soon to them and their lives could become happy like before . But to the worst his silent behavior is tearing their heart into pieces . They could only apologise now as the worst has already happened right ?! Now their son does not wish to return back to them . Moreover , he did not address them as mother and father rather he calls them Sir and Ma'am…which hammers thousand nails in their hearts...But what can they do except WAITING ! and this wait is actually killing them slowly !
In Hotel ( during morning ) :
ACP and Arpita were sitting in the garden area when their gaze fell on the father-son jodi who were laughing merrily and enjoying their ice creams….
A beautiful memory resonated in their minds….
Flashback :
It was nine in the night and ACP was sitting in his study reading book while Abhijeet entered from behind and kept his hand on his eyes…
ACP smiled lovingly : Are mera gudda aa idhar ( he kept the book on the table and just made Abhijeet sit on his lap )...
Abhijeet curiously : Daida aap ko kaiche pata ki Abhi hai aap ne to pichche dekha hi noi fill….
ACP sir smiled at him and added lovingly : Bhala mein apne baby ko pehchan ne mein kabhi galti kar sakta hun hmm ?!
Abhijeet smiled sweetly and he kissed his both cheeks while Abhijeet gave a cute yet adorable smile in return…
Abhijeet cutely : Daida Abhi ko ice cleam chahiye…
ACP sir laughed at him lovingly : Bachcha itni thand mein aap ko ice cream khani hai hmm ?!...
Abhijeet in a cute-sweet tone : Yechhh ! Daida Abhi chilf chummelch mein ice cleam khata hai uchko wintel mein bhi khani ek baal aap chalo na….
ACP sir : Agar aap ko thand mein ice cream khilane le gaya na aap ko aapki mumma se daant pitegi bahut firr aap kya karoge…
Abhijeet grinned broadly and added : Mumma ko Abhi batayega hi noi ( ACP looked at him in shock while he added cutely ) Mumma se chup ke jayenge Abhi aul Daida hehe….
ACP sir looked at him with amazed expressions while Abhijeet added pleadingly : Chalo na Daida pleacheeeeeeee ! Abhi olange vali ice cleam khayega….
ACP sir in concern : Theek hai usko nahi bhi bataunga main par ice cream se aap ki tabiyat kharab ho jayegi na….
Abhijeet shook his head in no and added cutely : Nahi hogi na Daida Abhi chtlong ( showed him his muscles ) hai dekho kitta zyada….
ACP sir laughed at him and just pulled his cheeks lovingly….ACP sir laughingly : Chalo chalte hai firr aa jao…( Abhijeet smiled broadly and kissed his cheeks who smiled sweetly in return )
Abhijeet climbed on his back and hugged him from his neck cutely, who smiled soothingly at his loving gesture…
ACP sir lovingly : Mere baby chalo ice cream lene aao….
Abhijeet smiled at him cutely while both father-son escaped from Arpita's sight who was sitting in the bedroom casually….
Outside the house :
Abhijeet cutely whispered : Dekha Daida Mumma ko pata bhi nahi laga Abhi aur aap bahal bhi aa gaye….
ACP laughed at him lovingly and murmured under teeth : Vo to beta tujhe ghar jake hi pata lagega jab teri maa meri extra class legi….
Abhijeet annoyingly : Chalo na Daida pleache….
ACP sir lovingly : Baby chal rahe hai ( he kissed his cheeks lovingly )...
Abhijeet cutely tightened his grip on him and smiled cutely….
After a few minutes , both reached the ice cream parlor…
Abhijeet excitedly : Daida olange ice cleam…
ACP smiled at his excitement lovingly as he was looking too cute and adorable in excitement….
ACP sir ( To shopkeeper ) : Haan haan isko orange ice cream do ek….
Shopkeeper gave him an orange candy ice cream….
Abhijeet cutely : Daida aap noi khaoge ?!
ACP sir smiled and pulled his cheek lovingly : Bilkul khaunga bhai ( thoughtfully ) par kaunsi khau ?!
Abhijeet in a cute tone : Daida aap ko to butelscoch pachand hai na…
ACP sir nodded at him while he added excitedly : Uncle Daida ko butelscoch dedo…
Shopkeeper nodded at him and gave him the icecream while ACP paid him the money and both were enjoying their ice creams….
ACP laughed at him and pulled out his handkerchief and wiped his face….
ACP sir laughingly : Baby apna face dekho sachchi mein pura orange orange hai….
Abhijeet smiled shyly…
Abhijeet naughtily applied icecream on his face as well and started laughing while ACP looked at him with a wide open mouth….
Abhijeet started laughing cutely at him and added laughingly : Daida ab aap aul Abhi chame chame dono ke face pe ice cleam hai hehehehe…
ACP looked at him lovingly and added while wiping his face : Bahut naughty ho gaya hai mera Abhi….
Abhijeet smiled shyly while he kissed his cheeks with love….
ACP sir laughed at his cuteness lovingly and added while ruffling his hairs a bit : Chalo ab mere baby ki ice cream khana ho gaya na….
Abhijeet nodded at him and sneezed a bit while ACP sir glared at him hard….
Abhijeet with a sheepish smile : Daida ab ( excitedly ) aap ko Mumma se dant palegi hehe….
ACP's mouth remained wide open while he started laughing at him….
ACP sir disappointedly : Baby bola toh aapne hi tha le jane ke liye to main bol dunga na aap ki Mumma ko…
Abhijeet gave him a look as " if she will believe you"...while ACP smiled at him sweetly….
After a few minutes , both reached home….
In ACP sir's home :
Both entered inside the house and were laughing merrily on the topic but immediately sealed their lips seeing the stern gaze of Arpita...!
Abhijeet looked at his father with pleading eyes who initially tried to refuse but sighed seeing his pleading looks…
ACP sir in a sweet tone : Arpita….( He stopped in mid seeing her angry gaze and gulped )
Arpita sternly : Kahan se aa rahe ho dono ?! ( crossed her arms around her chest ) itni thand mein aap Abhi ko bahar leke kyun gaye the hmmm ?!
ACP downed his head and murmured : Main nahi leke gaya tha yeh mujhe leke gaya tha….
Arpita frustratingly : Hein ?! thoda tez boliye itna dheere samjh nahi aata hai mujhe…
Abhijeet smiled cutely at his father's plight and a childish-evil grin came on his lips…
Abhijeet sweetly : Mumma ( Arpita looked at him sternly while he made an innocent face and added ) Daida ko na ice cleam khani thi ( Arpita 's mouth remained wide open while ACP looked at him in complete disbelief ) to fill voh na Abhi ko le gaye bahal ( Abhijeet sneezed after this while Arpita glared at ACP hard who looked away ignoring his gaze )...
Arpita strictly : Itni thand mein aap ko ice cream khane ki kya suji hmmm ?! ( ACP was going to open his mouth for protest but she interrupted in a firm tone ) to chalo aap ko jana tha to jate lekin Abhi ko le jane ki kya zaroorat thi aur dekhiye ab ho gaya na usko cold itni thand mein ice cream nahi khani chahiye na ( ACP downed his head while Abhijeet smiled cutely and she further picked him in her arms ) chaliye aap jayie ab ice cream khayie aur Abhi tum chalo mere sath….
Abhijeet nodded sweetly while ACP's mouth remained wide open….
Abhijeet was in his mothers arms and smiled cutely at him who glared at him angrily . Abhijeet stuck out the tongue to ACP who gave haww expressions in return…
Flashback over :
ACP sir smiled moistly while his wife too smiled remembering it…but soon a sad-rueful smile covered their lips remembering their guilt….
ACP sir smiled sadly : Kal mere bete ka semifinal hai na ( took out a bat and softly flared his hand on it ) to yeh main uske liye laya tha ( dreamily ) aur bas ek hi ichcha thi ki mera beta semi final issi se khelega…( closed his eyes in pain and just smiled sadly ) par main laya hun isliye shayad kabhi na le isko….
Arpita looked at him in pain and added : Koi nahi ACP sahab ( ACP looked at her while she added ) bass semi final jeet jaye India utna kaafi hai humare liye ( In a dreamy-loving tone ) aur firr uske chere ki khushi dekh ke bahut achcha lagega ( ACP sir nodded at her with a moist smile )...
ACP sir ruefully : Par agar iss bat se sixes lagte to achcha lagta na mujhe bahut ( complained moistly ) chodiye mujh se to baat bhi nahi karta bat lena to dur ki baat hai….( ACP placed the bat on the bench )
Voice confidently : Aise kuch nahi hoga uncle Abhi issi bat se semi final khelega dekhna aap….
ACP and Arpita were shocked seeing the person while he added in a firm tone : Main aap ko guarantee deta hun voh khelega isse….( He picked the bat and started admiring it ) New Balance DC 570 edition English Willow woh bhi wow ! yeh to uska favorite hai waise bhi…. ( winked them naughtily ) pakka khelega isse….
ACP sir nervously : Kartik tum yahan ( In a nervous-stammering tone ) y..yeh bat to aise hi hai main Abhi ke liye….
He stopped in mid as Kartik raised his eyebrows and started looking away…
Kartik smiled at him sadly and held his hand softly…
Kartik meaningfully : Aap nahi de sakte usko lega nahi kyunki ( confidently ) par main to deke aaunga aur dekhna iske alawa koi bat se nahi khelne dunga usko...
ACP and Arpita looked at him in surprise…
ACP sir nervously : Par ( In a scared tone ) agar aur naraz ho gaya to ( shook his head absentmindedly ) nahi nahi main yeh risk nahi le sakta….
Kartik in a comforting tone : Uncle aise kuch nahi hoga main usko yeh nahi bataunga ki aap laye ho yeh ( ACP and Arpita looked at him with surprise while he added smilingly ) yeh bolunga uske fan ne diya hai uske liye….( ACP and Arpita were looking appalled )...
Arpita fearfully : Aur agar usko sach pata lag gaya to….
Kartik dramatically : Aunty why fear when Kartik is here ?! ( both smiled disappointedly while Kartik just smiled sweetly at them and assured them further ) Nahi pata lagega main usko indirect bol ke dunga aur chaye to aap sunn sakte hai aayie….
ACP and Arpita nodded at him helplessly while he took both of them to the room where Abhi was sitting casually . Both hid themselves behind the pillar so that Abhi could not see them . He deliberately left the door open so they could listen to their conversation….
In Abhijeet's room :
Kartik entered the room and hid the bat hurriedly behind the door while Abhijeet just sprang on him….
Abhijeet annoyingly : Bhai kahan gaye the aap subah subah itna bore ho raha tha main ( jerked his head disappointedly ) kuch hai hi nahi tha karne ko ( irritatedly ) sir ne practice bhi aaj barah baje rakhi hai to maine socha tha ( excitedly ) tab tak aap aur main video games khelenge par aap hai ki kahan ne najane….
Kartik was looking at him with a wide open mouth while he was continuously letting out his frustration…
Abhijeet annoyingly : Mamu bhi nahi the yahan pe ( jerked his head annoyingly ) HQ janne ki sujhi unko subah subah aur aap ho ki….
He stopped in mid as he saw Kartik was trying to find out something…
Abhijeet confusingly : Kya dhund rahe ho aap ?!
Kartik while looking around : Cello Tape….
Abhijeet surprisingly : Kyunnnn !
Kartik straightly : Tere muh pe lagane ke liye ( Abhi's mouth remained wide open while he added straightly ) kitna bolta hai tu chup hone ka naam hi nahi le raha….
ACP and Arpita choked their laughters with great difficulty while Abhijeet's downed his head in embarrassment…
Abhijeet shyly : Kya bhai aap bhi….
Kartik shook his head disappointedly and added mysteriously : Waise ek cheez hai mere pass jisse tu uchal ke kudne lag jayega ( Abhijeet became surprised while he added ) but you have to guess what it is ( laughingly ) dare hai karke dikha…
Abhijeet restlessly : Bata do na please ?
Kartik jumped on the bed and just shrugged casually….
Kartik winked him : Guess karna hai to kar pata nahi chalega aise….
Abhijeet made an highly annoyed face while Kartik just hid his smile…
ACP and Arpita too smiled at both lovingly as they were just fighting like two cute kids….
Abhijeet sweetly : Bhai main to samjhta tha ki aap bahut achche ho ek dum pyare se ( Kartik gave him a oh really look while he added in flow ) par aap to bahut shaitan nikle….
Kartik's mouth remained wide open while his eyes widened in shock…and he gave a haww expression in return...
Kartik tickled him a bit : Achcha beta main shaitan haww ( He started laughing cutely while ACP and Arpita admired his laughter in their heart and started smiling soothingly )...
After a few minutes when both stopped laughing Kartik added : Guess to tujh se kuch hua nahi ( Abhijeet made an annoyed face while he added lovingly ) jake dekh ( pointed at the direction ) vahan pe…
Abhijeet jumped in excitement and hurriedly went there while Kartik chuckled sweetly as he was looking too cute in excitement…
Abhijeet's eyes became round in shape seeing the surprise….
