Ash's Pokemon Journey
Summary: This story is about how I think that ash's journey should have gone through, Kanto, Orange Islands, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh and Unova. Smart, a psychic and an Aura user. I do not own pokemon.
Note: I am not doing the Kalos Region. So fairy pokemon and Mega Evolutions don't exist.
Chapter 98
Max & Deoxys
There was a lot of excitement in the air for the gang; Brock couldn't wait to visit his home Pewter City, May couldn't wait to enter the next pokemon contest to win her final ribbon and Ash couldn't wait to battle the last Battle Facility. Right now they had come to a mountain range, which was beautiful, and they saw a flock of Swablu and Altaria in the sky.
Suddenly an aurora appeared in the sky. "Hey that's an aurora of the legendary pokemon Deoxys" said Ash. Ash remembered when they saw two Deoxys in Larousse City in Hoenn. "You're right Ash it is the same aurora" said Brock. The others remembered that incident too. Just then Pikachu started to feel strange and give of electrical sparks. Another problem was the flock of Swablu and Altaria started to get confused and fly wrong. Tomo tried to release his Pidgey to help, but his pokeball wasn't working. Max also saw that his pokenav wasn't working. "It must be a Deoxys behind this," said Ash "remember how LaRousse City's technology went malfunctioned because of the two Deoxys? This is the same". "So what should we do Ash?" asked May.
Before Ash could answer May, Max noticed Solana the pokemon ranger and her Plusle standing close to where they were standing. Solana saw the situation with the Swablus and Altarias and set to work at once. She used her capture stylus to catch one of the Altarias; once it was captured it was free from its confusion. Then Solana told Altaria to use refresh; when Altaria did that all the other Altarias and Swablus were cured from their confusion and they flew off peacefully again.
Solana met up with the gang and told them about some strange geomagnetic activity that the ranger station had picked up from this area, which was causing the disturbance earlier. "We think a Deoxys is behind this," said Ash "we saw the aurora". "What do you know about Deoxys?" asked Solana. Before Ash could answer a Deoxys appeared from a dimension, stared at the humans and then disappeared again. Max felt a weird feeling inside him after seeing the Deoxys; he somehow saw a vision of outer space. "There's a pokemon center near here," said Solana "we shall talk there".
At the pokemon center there was trouble. All the computers and TV's and other machines had malfunctioned. Ash told Nurse Joy a Deoxys was behind this, which made Nurse Joy very surprised. "Kids I need you to tell me what you know about Deoxys please" said Solana. The gang told Solana all about the incident they had with two Deoxys' in LaRousse City. "We heard about that incident at the Ranger Union, and we've heard about Deoxys from Prof Lund's research about it," said Solana "who ever thought I would end up meeting the heroes of LaRousse City?" The gang smiled from that compliment. "Nurse Joy did a meteorite crash land around here?" asked Ash "Deoxys come from meteorites in space". Ash remembered everything about Deoxys. "Actually a meteorite crashed landed in the mountains ten years ago" said Nurse Joy. Solana asked Nurse Joy for the locations of where the meteorite was right away; she intended to find the meteorite right away. "Please let us come with you to find Deoxys," said Max, suddenly, "I wish to see that Deoxys again". "Yes let us help you Solana," said Ash "we know more about Deoxys than you do". Solana didn't really want to involve the gang with her mission; she thought it too dangerous to get them involved. But since the gang already knew about Deoxys, she finally agreed to let them come with her.
Unfortunately Team Rocket, who had been taking cover in the pokemon center in disguise, had heard the gang's conversation about Deoxys and where it was. "Awe a Deoxys huh?" said Meowth "that will make an absolute boost for Team Rocket". "We'll follow the twerps and that ranger and they will guide us to Deoxys" said Jessie. "Great idea" smiled Meowth. "We'll have to be careful though," said James "remember we were there too at the incident at LaRousse City". "Oh yeah," said Meowth, who was remembering it now, "those two Deoxys were real bad news and so was that other pokemon Rayquaza". "Yes but we've grown stronger since then," said Jessie "and it's only one Deoxys to deal with. We can easily take it down". James and Meowth saw the point and they all agreed to go after Deoxys.
Thanks to Nurse Joy's directions Solana and the gang made it to a cave where the meteorite was said to have landed. It was very dark in the cave and Solana and Ash were holding flashlights to see where they were going. Brock was holding Solana's gadget that read of geomagnetic energy waves. Just then Solana spotted a Miltank in the cave and used her styler to capture it. "The Miltank has a move that you are going to use later on right Solana?" asked Tomo. "Correct Tomo" smiled Solana. Tomo remembered what Solana did with pokemon the last time they met.
Soon they arrived where the meteorite was; it was a huge meteorite. "I wonder where Deoxys is?" said Brock. Ash started at the meteorite; something about it felt wrong. "Please excuse me Solana," said Max "but I don't believe that Deoxys is the cause of all these problems of geomagnetic disturbances". "What makes you say that Max?" asked Solana. "Well it's a bit hard to explain, but I have this weird feeling saying that Deoxys is not at fault" said Max.
Suddenly Deoxys appeared and started attacking with psycho boost. "I remember that Deoxys can change into different forms; attack, defense, speed and normal" said Ash. "I've heard of that too," said Solana "I need Deoxys to stay in its normal form, and then I can capture it and have it calm down". Trying to capture Deoxys with the styler was not easy for Solana; the Deoxys kept on changing into its different forms and kept on attacking with psycho boost, and when Solana did use her stylus Deoxys kept on changing forms and that made her captures unsuccessful. While this was happening Deoxys was speaking in its language. "I think Deoxys is trying to say something" said Max. Ash stared at Deoxys to listen to it. "Deoxys is in a lot of pain" he said. Solana held up her stylus to analyze Deoxys and found that Ash was right. Solana told the Miltank she captured earlier to use heal bell on Deoxys so it could recover a bit. Then she used her stylus again to try and capture Deoxys but again it didn't work. Then Deoxys attacked with psycho booth again and Miltank, who became released by Solana, ran away in terror.
Suddenly Team Rocket appeared and they stood on top of Deoxys' meteorite. Meowth was just about to say that they were going to take Deoxys, but then Deoxys made Jessie and James fall off the meteorite. Meowth could see that Deoxys was in pain so he tried to talk to it. "Why are you in pain?" he asked. Max bravely climbed up the meteorite; he wanted to know why Deoxys was in pain too. "Meowth do you know what Deoxys is saying?" asked Max. "I'm afraid I don't understand Deoxys' language" said Meowth.
Suddenly Deoxys used safeguard, which trapped Max and Meowth with Deoxys. The others didn't like this. Max and Meowth asked Deoxys what was wrong again. Suddenly Deoxys took control over Meowth and then spoke through Meowth like a puppet. "I'm scared" said Deoxys. "Deoxys is using Meowth to communicate with us" said Ash, who saw what was happening. "Deoxys please tell me why you are scared" said Deoxys. "Will you listen to me?" Deoxys asked Max. "Of course I will," answered Max "my names is Max and I want to know all about you Deoxys". Deoxys sent Max a vision of Deoxys traveling through outer space in the meteorite. "It's cold," said Max "so you were cold while you were traveling through space". "Yes I was cold," said Deoxys "I was cold, I was scared and lonely". Suddenly Deoxys disappeared into another dimension, taking Max and Meowth with it. "No Max!" shouted May. "No Meowth!" shouted Jessie and James together.
Things were not looking good.
Solana, Jessie and James, Ash, Brock, Tomo and May were now back at the pokemon center and they were worried about Meowth and Max. Jessie and James asked the gang to help them get Meowth back. Ash agreed to help them but he made them swear not to do anything bad or try to catch Deoxys while he helped them, and Jessie and James promised. "I think I might have an idea of why Deoxys was in pain" said Ash. "What are you thinking Ash?" asked Solana. "When I saw the meteorite I felt a weird energy from it, so I believe that the meteorite is causing the trouble, though I may be wrong" said Ash. "That might be a good cause and I have another idea of what's wrong too," said Solana "have you ever heard of solar wind?" Solana explained that plasma particles from the sun riding on the wind to the earth. She also explained that the geomagnetic waves and the waves from the solar wind are in sync with each other and the main problem is coming from the cave. "We need to head back there if we are going to save Meowth and Max and help that Deoxys" said Solana. "Before we do I'm going to make a quick phone call" said Ash, and he dashed to the phones.
Ash phoned Prof Oak and asked to speak to Mewtwo. Ash explained to Mewtwo about Deoxys and about how much in pain it was. "Mewtwo I need you to help us find out why Deoxys is in pain and help us heal it". Mewtwo understood the situation and agreed to help, so Ash got Mewtwo and his master ball from Prof Oak. Ash knew that Mewtwo would be strong enough to fight Deoxys.
Meanwhile Max and Meowth realized they weren't in their world anymore. By now Meowth was not under Deoxys control. Meowth didn't like this. Just then Deoxys turned up. "Deoxys where are we?" asked Max. Deoxys used Meowth to communicate again. "This is my room" it said. Max was confused by that; since Deoxys came from the meteorite, it would have been living in the cave. "Where did you come from?" asked Max. Deoxys explained that it had come from very far in outer space in the meteorite; it had been cold and alone for a very long time with no one there. Then one day the meteorite crash landed on the pokemon planet, but it was stuck in the cave and Deoxys was all alone again. Deoxys was too scared to leave the cave once it got out of the meteorite. Max felt sorry for Deoxys. "You are not alone anymore Deoxys," said Max "because I am here with you and there are millions of humans and pokemon on this planet". Max showed Deoxys visions of wild pokemon who lived outside the cave. Deoxys saw that Max was speaking the truth. "I traveled to lots of places I've never been before on my journeys" said Max "and I will be going on more journeys in the future". Deoxys listened hard to Max.
Meanwhile Solana, the gang and Team Rocket were back in the cave and this time Nurse Joy was coming with them. Brock didn't see any reading of disturbed geomagnetic waves yet, so at the moment it was safe in the cave and Pikachu and Plusle were okay. Ash asked Mewtwo to locate Max and Meowth and Mewtwo flew ahead to find them.
Back in the space dimension Deoxys was starting to feel pain again and Max was worried about it. Meowth was back to his senses. A portal was showing the cave where the meteorite was and right now it showed Mewtwo turning up. Just then Deoxys felt more pain and floated towards the portal. By now Solana, the gang and Team Rocket turned up. 'Meowth and Max are around here' said Mewtwo. Brock saw the geomagnetic waves on the machine again and Pikachu and Plusle felt pain. Deoxys came out of the space dimension and everyone else saw Meowth and Max in the dimension. 'Ash Deoxys is in terrible pain and I can sense that meteorite is causing its pain' said Mewtwo. "I thought so," said Ash "that meteorite is dangerous". "The energy from the solar winds must have transferred to the meteorite and mixed up with the geomagnetic energy" said Solana. The machine that Brock held broke because of the mass of energy from the meteorite. "We must get out of here now" said Solana. Mewtwo used teleport to get everyone out of the cave.
Mewtwo's teleport move moved everyone to the valley outside the cave. "My hunch was right, that meteorite is responsible for Deoxys' pain" said Ash. "It's sad that Deoxys' cradle is causing that much pain" said Nurse, who felt really sorry for it. Just then Deoxys appeared and started to attack with psycho boost. "Mewtwo it's time to fight Deoxys, but remember we only need to weaken it to get it into normal form so Solana can capture it with her device" said Ash. 'Leave it to me' said Mewtwo, and got ready to fight. Deoxys fired another psycho boost and Mewtwo used shadow ball. Mewtwo's shadow broke through psycho boost and went towards Deoxys. Deoxys changed into speed mode and dodged the attack and then it used extreme speed on Mewtwo. Mewtwo fought back again with aura sphere and Deoxys kept on dodging.
While this was going things were getting from bad to worse with the meteorite; the meteorite was on the verge of exploding. This made Nurse Joy worry about the pokemon that were living in the valley, and Deoxys pain was getting worse. "Mewtwo grab onto Deoxys and use thunderbolt on it" said Ash. Mewtwo tried to grab onto Deoxys but Deoxys was in speed form and made it hard for Mewtwo to catch it.
At this time May, Jessie and James took this time to save Max and Meowth from the space dimension. Max and Meowth saw everything that was happening from the portal and they called out to May, Jessie and James. May, Jessie and James bravely ran to the portal to the space dimension and they got Max and Meowth out safely. Max and Meowth were relieved to be free.
Right now Mewtwo managed to grab onto Deoxys and used thunderbolt. Deoxys got into its normal form after being hit. "Now Solana!" shouted Ash. Solana used her style capture to try and catch Deoxys. This time she was successful and she told Deoxys to use recover. Thanks to the move recover Deoxys felt so much better. Suddenly the meteorite in the cave exploded. Mewtwo and Deoxys both used safeguard and protected everyone from the explosion.
With the meteorite now gone there were no more disturbances with geomagnetic energy and Deoxys was free. Deoxys was grateful to everyone who helped him and he was also happy to have saved his new friend Max. "Hey Deoxys what are you going to do now?" asked Max. Deoxys used Meowth again to communicate. "I wish to explore this world and see many new places and pokemon," it said "I especially want to see this world with you Max. You should me new things in my room, but I want you to show me more things". This meant Deoxys wanted to stay with Max. Max stared at the others wondering if he should catch Deoxys. Solana, Nurse Joy and the gang agreed that Max should go ahead and catch Deoxys". Ash took out something from his back pack; it was a master ball like Mewtwo's master ball. "Hey Ash where did you get that master ball?" asked Brock. "I got it from Prof Lund as a gift before we left the Hoenn region," said Ash "Tori found it and decided to give it to me as a thankyou gift for helping him get over his fear of pokemon". He handed it to Max and Max captured Deoxys with it; so Deoxys was now Max's pokemon and Max promised to take care of it. Ash thanked Mewtwo and returned him and sent him back to Prof Oak's lab.
So Solana's mission was complete and there were no more disturbances in the area. The gang said goodbye to Solana and Nurse Joy and left, while Team Rocket went on their way.
Sorry for the wait; I was stuck on another story. The writers, in my opinion, did something very wrong to this episode. The gang knew about Deoxys and Prof Lund's research because they met the two Deoxys in LaRousse City, but the writers stupidly keep on leaving out those kinds of parts in the episodes. It's really wrong. I decided using Mewtwo would be a great help for this.
