Chapter 9 - Enemies of the Newspaper Club

"Where… am I?" Naruto's blue eyes studied the area around him in confusion, noting that it looked like a basement of some sort… except the walls seemed to be covered in a glowing blood-red aura. "… Something about this room seems…"

"Quite the eye catcher, isn't it? I certainly enjoy it."

Snapping his head to look behind him, Naruto saw a shadowy figure sitting in a lone chair with one leg crossed over the other. Crimson eyes glowed brightly as they pierced through the shadows, they were filled with amusement as they watched the blonde's eyes widen in shock as the shadows faded away.

"Who… are you?" Naruto muttered to himself as he took in the appearance of the other him. The second Naruto had the appearance of his Vampire form, except his hair was longer and wilder and his skin was even paler than Haku's. "You look… like me…?"

"Who am I? The answer is very simple…" The second Naruto seemed to vanish and reappear in front of Naruto in an instant, grabbing the Dhampir by his throat and lifted him into the air. The second Naruto's body was emitting a large amount of crimson energy with a shadowy mass of black and orange circled at his feet, and the dark grin on his face grew as he looked up at Naruto. "I am the true you, the one full of hatred and all those other dark emotions you think you've overcome. All the feelings in your heart created me."

"My… feelings… my hatred… That's impossible, I'm a lot more than that!" Naruto flinched as he felt the hand on his neck tighten its grip.

"Yeah, you are." The second Naruto chuckled as he brought Naruto close until they were staring into each other's eyes. "But unlike you, I am strong. If I was the one in control there would be nothing to worry about with keeping Moka-chan and the others safe."

"S-Shut up!" Naruto gritted his teeth as he reached up and slowly tried to pull his doppelganger's fingers from his neck, "I can protect them just fine! I don't need some illusion to tell me what to do like it knows everything!"

"Illusion? Ghehehe, I'm no illusion… for so many years I've stayed in the shadows and watched you… now I finally have a chance to rise up and become the rightful owner of this body." The second Naruto's eyes glowed even brighter as he spoke, "And unlike you, I have no intention of letting any vermin try to harm what's mine… LIKE YOU DID JASMINE-NEECHAN!"

With a shout, Naruto shot up from his bed and took several deep breaths. The Dhampir looked around the room as he continued to calm himself, breathing in deeply before exhaling and repeating this a few times. The bi-colored haired teen looked at his clock and saw that it was only three in the morning before letting out a sigh, reaching a hand up to rub the back of his head as he thought back to the dream he had just gone through. Moving the hand from his hair to his neck, Naruto flinched from the phantom pain he felt as his fingers brushed against the area that his dream-self had gripped to tightly.

"What the hell… was that about?" Naruto wondered to himself before he shook his head a few times and lowered himself back into bed, his gaze focused on the ceiling with a hand tightening into a fist. "… Was it just a dream… or something else?"

(The Next Morning)

"This is the Newspaper Club's latest edition! Please be sure to take a copy and enjoy!" Moka shouted to the passing students as she and the others handed out their newspapers. "Inside involves the recent case of the disappearing girls as well as other major happenings around the school!"

Kurumu was the next one to speak as she handed a paper to a female student, "Also be sure to read the latest gossip and our advice section for those in search for possible hobbies and such!"

"We even have horoscope readings for those interested having their futures told!" Yukari stated with a smile.

"Thank you very much!" Haku and Tsukune said at the same time as they passed out more papers.

"Wow, the front of the school gate this morning sparkles as if angels have come down from heaven."

"This is like a fantasy turned reality!"

A distance away from the Newspaper Club's table, more and more students that were making their way to the school froze up at the sight in front of them. Soon a huge crowd of male and female students had gathered in front of the school gate, unfortunately blocking many of the other students that had tried to get in…. That was until they also saw what the source of the commotions was.

"It's Moka-san, and she's handing out newspapers! Newspapers!"

"Uwaaaa! Kurumu-san is there too!"

"There's Naruto-san and Haku-san too!"

"It's surreal... this view is totally amazing…"

Noticing the large group, the pink haired Vampire gave them all an innocent smile. "Would you all like a copy?" Her words seemed to open the floodgate and all of the students came running to the table, each one roaring for a newspaper copy. This only made the group smile as they happily handed out more and more papers to the students… well almost everyone, after handing out a paper to a stuttering female student Moka turned her head to look at Naruto. The Dhampir was distributing his own pile with a smile on his face, but Moka could see that he had a distracted look on his face.

Her thoughts were cut off when she heard Kurumu let out a squeal before happily grabbing Tsukune's head and pulled his head into her cleavage. "Tsukune! I'm so happy our newspapers are a big hit!''

''Kurumu-chan!" Moka cried out as she placed her pile down and turned to her blue-haired friend. "You shouldn't hug Tsukune right now, we've still got a lot of work to do!''

Kurumu waved her hand in a playful dismissive motion, winking at her friend as she brought Tsukune closer to her body. "Oh what's the harm Moka? Tsukune is mine after all, you're free to hug Naruto all you want.''

''I-I can't do that! Anyway let go of Tsukune so we can finish up!'' Moka yelled as static formed as she and Kurumu's gazes locked into a battle of wills.

"You may be my best friend Moka, but I won't let anyon-OUCH!"

Their 'battle' was interrupted as Haku appeared behind Kurumu and made a small block of ice hit her head, making the blunette let go of Tsukune to hold the top of her head in pain. With the Human now free from the soft hell that was Kurumu's breasts, Tsukune fell to the floor with a gasp of breath. "You can flirt later. Honestly, you just can't control yourself."

"Damn it Haku! I won't forgive you for this!"

"Sure whatever, now lets get back to work melon-head." Haku commented with a bland tone in his voice before moving back to the table to hand out papers. "It's bad enough that lousy president of ours had disappeared so quickly and didn't even bother to help set up."

"Grrrr." Kurumu gritted her teeth as she glared at Haku's form.

Moka was next to Kurumu, trying to calm the girl down. "Come on you two, let's just do our best!''

"She's right Kurumu-chan." Tsukune said while standing up, rubbing the back of his head with a nervous laugh. "We can talk and goof around after we finish handing them out."

"… I guess you're right…" Kurumu replied with a pout.

Meanwhile Naruto was handing out more and more papers from his pile, dismissing the funny argument his friends were having as his thoughts kept drifting to the strange dream he had the previous night. Shaking his head a few times Naruto decided to focus on the task at hand instead of worrying about some dream. Looking to the side where a blushing schoolgirl was requesting a newspaper, Naruto handed her one with a smile before moving to the next student, not noticing the girl had fainted from his smile. A familiar shout made him, and his friends that returned to the table, turned to see Yukari running from a group of boys.

"'Kyyyaaahh! Naruto-niisan, SAVE ME!'' Yukari cried out in fear as she hid behind him, which made several viewers find the scene more adorable. "These Lolicons won't leave me alone!"

"Wow Yukari-chan, I'm surprised." A small smile appeared on Haku's face as he watched Naruto quickly dispatch the group of lolicons without any effort, sending them flying away from the booth and a few through the stone walls. "For someone so young you certainly… bewitched them."

"…"

"…"

"…"

"…"

"… Haku."

"Yes Naruto-sama?"

Naruto and the others gave him a deadpanned look as the silver-blond Dhampir spoke, "That pun was awful."

"… Yes Naruto-sama."

A girl with long purple hair and blue eyes could be seen a good distance away from the Newspaper Club, watching the crowd with her attention completely focused on a certain Dual Elemental user. '… I thought it was good… Haku-kun.'

Several trees away from the girl, Gin was leaning against a tree smiling as he read his copy of the newspaper. 'Everything is looking good so far…' The smile on his face diminished a little as he looked back at his underclassmen, "I only hope things continue to stay this peaceful."

(Meanwhile)

"What...the Newspaper Club?"

In one of the private buildings at Yokai Academy, two students were currently meeting. One was a tall young man with long blonde hair who was reading a copy of the latest paper. The other was a young woman with long maroon hair who was kneeling before the man. Both were wearing a black uniform that was reserved for a select few at Yokai. The woman nodded at the man's question.

"Yes sir," The woman reported, keeping her eyes on the ground until the man permitted her to look up. "They're currently passing out their papers at the school gate. Naturally without our consent…"

"Students and perverted photographer suspended indefinitely'," The blonde man growled before crumpling up the paper. "That gang of scum again. Who do they think they are, disregarding us and acting like saviors of justice?" The man tossed the paper into the air where it burst into flames.

"…Sir, There is one other thing," The man turned to look at the woman with a raised eyebrow. "According to our information, one of the members of this new Newspaper Club is that student you wanted us to keep an eye on."

"Oh? Interesting." The man chuckled darkly as he started walking passed her, "I think it's time we paid them a visit… It's been a long time since I've seen that miserable half-breed."

(Yokai Academy Front Gates)

"How's it goin' guys?" Gin asked as he walked up to join his club members with a smile on his face and a folded up newspaper under his arm. 'Have you guys been giving a lot?"

"It's going great!" Moka cheered with one of her dazzling smiles that made almost every boy in the crowd faint in bliss. "We've already passed out over half of them!"

Naruto let out a laugh as he walked towards one of the unopened boxes filled with more papers. "Everyone is having a great time. If we keep doing this well we might have to start thinking about charging."

"Maybe, but why don't we wait and see before thinking about that." Tsukune commented with a laugh before leering at the second year. "Why don't you help pass out some papers, you are the president after all."

"Yeah right," Gin chuckled with an innocent smile, playfully waving his hand in a dismissing manner. "That kinda work is just for the underlings…"

"How can you say that so casually?!" Tsukune retorted angrily.

"Just ignore him Tsukune," Naruto patted his Human friend on the shoulder before placing the new pile of newspapers on the table. "A flea-covered mutt like him is completely worthless unless the situation involves something with porn or something like that."

Gin's eyebrow twitch as he turned to look at Naruto, "Why you little-"

"Yukari-chan."

"Hai~!"

Yukari waved her wand in the air at her brother figure's signal and magically summoned several wash tubs that collided with Gin's head making him cough up a lot of blood.

"Move it!"

"You're blocking our path!"

Now it wasn't strange to hear one of the male students to yell that when they for fighting to get a newspaper from one of the girls, but something was different this time. It sounded more like a command than a bunch of crazed fans, and the surprising thing was that everyone was actually obeying. The crowd began to part as a group of students with black uniforms marched imposingly toward the newsstand.

"Shit," Gin growled with a worried look on his face as he stared at the black suits, who stood at attention like soldiers awaiting orders. "What the hell are they doing here?"

'Who are these guys? I'm sensing a lot of negative intent coming from them…' Naruto's gaze focused on a tall man with long blond hair and two red dots for eyebrows standing in front of the group. 'Especially that guy... he seems familiar.'

Naruto wasn't the only one who focused on the man, as Haku had tensed up at the sight of him and his fist clenched tightly. "Why… is he here?"

"Salutations," Moving in front of his group, the blonde man smiled as he did a gentleman's bow. "My name is Kuyō. I am the leader of the Public Safety Commission. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance."

"Public Safety Commission?" Moka asked nervously. "You mean the student police? What can we do for you?"

Kuyō reached out a hand toward the girl. In an instant, Gin had slid between the two and stood protectively in front of Moka. Kuyō's smirk widened somewhat and he motioned to the papers she was holding.

'… Gin, is this guy really bad new?' Naruto thought as Moka handed over a paper. Looking back at the man, Naruto's eyes narrowed as he focused his senses on the main. 'There is definitely something familiar about him… almost like I am looking at Haku or Kurama-ojisan?! Could he be…'

Kuyō chuckled as he flipped through the pages. "I must say, your work is quite good. I'm impressed that such a small group can do such impressive work. I just have one question," The smile on his face thinned as he placed the paper on the newsstand table. "… Who exactly gave you permission to hand out papers with these contents?" In an instant Kuyō had swung his leg and brought it down on the table. The wooden slab shattered on contact, sending papers flying in all directions. The Newspaper Club and all the students gathered around gasped in alarm. The rest of the black suits merely continued to watch at attention, except for a maroon haired girl that giggled darkly at the display. "Do you understand what it means when a selfish gang like you does whatever you please?" Kuyō shouted as the papers fell around him. "We are the ones who protect the peace of this academy! And when you spread this filth it causes nothing but trouble."

"Just what are you doing?" Kurumu cried out as she tried to stop him. "We weren't trying to disrupt anything, only pass out newspapers!"

"Wait Kurumu!" Gin raised his hand to grab onto the girl before she got hurt. But before he could the maroon-haired girl stepped forward and spat out a white sticky ring that flew towards the Succubus, who raised her hand to block it from hitting her face.

But before it could make contact with her, a small flame hit the ring and made it fall to the ground, the fire quickly consumed the ring and reduced it to ashes. Eyes turned to see that Haku with a hand raised and a very serious expression on his face. "You should keep your subordinates on a leash Kuyō… them attacking a friend of Naruto-sama is a serious offense, and I doubt your authority as the police of the school will have any say with the council."

"Ah, Haku Kageyuki. It's been a long time since we've crossed paths. And we both know those fools with not make any movements as long as I don't harm the heir directly." Kuyō smirked before turning his head to look at Naruto, who narrowed his eyes in response. While the two studied each other, Kurumu was staring hard at the girl who had spit whatever it was at her.

Noticing the look she was getting, the girl giggled wickedly into her hand. "I see the Newspaper Club is still full of arrogant lowlifes."

"L-Lowlifes!" Kurumu's body trembled in anger as she continued to glare at the woman, "Why you! Little-!"

"What a foolish little girl. It seems like this club hasn't changed a bit," The maroon-haired girl said with a superior tone which only served to infuriate Kurumu even more. "Just like the bunch from last year."

That caught Naruto's attention as he looked to the side and saw Gin with a solemn look on his face, '… Last year?'

"What… does she mean by that?" Tsukune muttered to himself as he and the others watch the girl stomp on many of their newspapers with a wicked laughter.

"Enough Keito… This is the only warning we will give you." Kuyō said while turning to leave, many of subordinates following after him with Keito grinding into one of the papers one last time before making her way at Kuyō's side. "If you do anything without our permission again, you won't get off so easily! And you be sure to remember your place Haku… you filthy half-breed." Haku clenched his fist tightly as he and his fellow club members watched the Public Safety Commission walk away.

"Hey Kuyō!" Naruto called out with an aggravated look making many turn to him with mixed emotions. A worried Gin tried to silence his underclassman, but the blond and silver haired teen ignored him, "I don't care what business you have with us, but be sure that you remember this… I don't forgive anyone who insults or threatens my friends."

Grabbing Naruto by the shoulder, Gin tried to speak up but was beaten to the punch by Kuyō, who gave him an amused shrug as he halted Keito from moving. "Very well, I'll be sure to remember that Namikaze. We're leaving now." Once they were a good distance away from the large mass of student Kuyō spoke up, "Keito."

"Yes sir?"

"I want you to watch the Newspaper Club and gauge their reaction," Kuyō ordered as they entered the building. "And if they turn out to be a nuisance… you know what to do."

"With pleasure, sir." Keito bowed her head and grew a dark grin

ANUNMANUNMANUNMAUNMANUNMANUNMANUNMANUNMANUNMANUNMANUNMANUNMANUNM

"I can't believe Gin is being such a coward!" Kurumu shouted before angrily slamming her hands on the table in front of her. The group, except for Naruto who disappeared after Gin departed, were all sitting at the tables outside the school. In front of them was a box containing the remaining newspapers, and the ones that Gin had ordered to be incinerated after informing them about the Public Safety Commission and that it was better for them not to fight against them. "After all that hard work we put into these things he expects us to just burn them? I don't think so."

"I'm sure there is more to t-" Tsukune tried to say but was interrupted by Kurumu.

"He is just being a coward! Our club president is afraid of those jerks." Kurumu ranted with multiple tick marks on her head as she remembered the insult Keito had said earlier.

With a sigh Haku leaned back in his seat with his arms crossed, "Apparently there is something the perverted wolf isn't telling us. And if we don't know what the whole story is then it could backfire on us and make things worse."

"He's right, we need to calm down Kurumu-chan. Let's just sit down and think…" Moka started but was also interrupted by the Succubus.

"Think? What's there to think about? If the pervert doesn't want to do anything, then we'll just hand out the newspapers by ourselves." Kurumu said defiantly before her face broke into a smile and she wrapped her arms around a surprised Tsukune. "Fine, if you don't want to help then it will just be me and Tsukune!"

"W-Wha- But Kurumu-chan!" Moka exclaimed.

"Wow. That girl's words really got to you," Yukari said with a grin as she watched Kurumu come to a halt. "She really hit the nail on the head when she said you were stupid and now all the blood is going from your boobs to your head…OWIE!?"

"Come on Tsukune!" Kurumu said with a twitching eyebrow before pumping her fist into the air while dragging the Human by the back of his shirt."Now let's go!"

"Sorry Moka, I'll try and make sure she doesn't do anything reckless." Tsukune said as he stared back at the pinkette Vampire with an apologetic look, who let out a sigh as the two disappeared.

Moka turned her head to see that Haku was using some of his ice powers to sooth the giant lump Kurumu had dealt to Yukari's head. Staring at the boy for a few seconds she decided to speak up, "Um Haku-san."

Turning his head towards to look at the Vampire, Haku lowered his hand away from Yukari's head, much to the preteen's dismay. "What is it Moka-san?"

"I was wondering about what happened earlier, you and that man seemed to know each other."

"Yeah, for a second I thought punches were going to fly with how you looked at each other." Yukari added as she reached up to soothe the lump on her head.

"… Kuyō and I have crossed paths in the past… He and my father are distant relatives… very distant." Haku explained with a deep sigh as he took in the shocked looks he was getting from the two girls. "Everyone in his clan division despises me and my father, because of my father who is a fire user fell in love with a Yuki-Onna and had me."

"Yuki-Onna… I suppose opposites like that would cause issues between families."

"It's a dangerous combination."

"Yeah, but that's only part of the reason… The biggest reason why our divisions don't get along is because it was our family that was chosen to be Familiars of the Namikaze family instead of theirs." Haku said catching them by surprise.

(Later)

"Wait Kurumu-chan. Let's go back to everyone else." Tsukune said to the girl after he finally managed to escape her grip and get back on his feet, "We should talk with them about this first, right?"

"No."

Tsukune blinked several times at her quick answer before speaking again, "Then we should have a good talk about this with Gin-senpai at the very least…"

"No."

"… Kurumu-chan." Tsukune reached up and placed a hand on her shoulder, putting a bit of force in his hold and manage to get her to stop walking. "I know how you feel but we can't just do whatever we want… This involves not just the two of us, but Naruto, Moka, Haku, Yukari and even Gin-sempai."

"…That's exactly why I can't burn these newspapers... they're la precious treasure to me. You, Moka, and everyone at the club are the only real friends I ever had," Kurumu said solemnly as she stared down at the box holding the stacks of newspapers in her hands. "We made these together, all of us… And to have those goons trample them underfoot like that… I- I can't forgive them…!"

Tears began to build up in Kurumu's eyes and her grip on the box tightened as she felt Tsukune walked around her and took box from her shaking hands before he started to walk a head of her. She eyes widened when she noticed the furnace nearby and fear built up inside her when he got closer. But that fear instantly disappeared as he turned his head to face her with a grin on his face.

"Are you coming?" Tsukune asked, lifting the box a little to point towards the building. "We need to finish handing these out to the remaining students, after that we'll meet up with the others and talk about what to do."

"Tsukune…" Kurumu blushed before nodding her head with a warm smile.

"These newspapers are important to me as well, so I can't just burn them after everything we went through to make it." The Human spun on his feet and started walking, "Now let's get going."

"Right behind you." Kurumu quickly caught up to Tsukune and wrapped her arm around his, 'Thank you Tsukune… I'm glad you're my Destined One!'

After a few feet Tsukune's eyes darted to the side and he dropped the box before grabbing Kurumu, "Move!" With a strong jump Tsukune, while still holding onto Kurumu, evaded several thin white objects that flew to where they had been standing, several of them latching onto the box. "Those are… threads?"

"Heh... don't make me laugh. You both really are too stupid!" A voice called out and the two followed the threads to see Keito hovering over them, standing on a large thread that was connected to two nearby trees.

"You…!" Kurumu shouted at the sight of Keito, who looked down on the pair with a wicked smile.

"It appears you have no interest in being a good student and obeying us... foolish Newspaper Club!" Keito letting out a dark chuckle and leaped off the thread and landed on the ground in front of Tsukune and Kurumu. "As I thought, I should crush you once and for all right here!"

(A Few Minutes Earlier)

"… Is there something you wanted Naruto?" Gin questioned without turning around to see that Naruto was standing behind him with his hands in his pockets. The Dhampir had managed to find the older teen on the rooftop of the Academy, the exact same area were they had fought a few weeks prior.

After going through so many things that morning, Naruto decided to get straight to the point. "You're hiding something from us… I want to know what it is."

"It's nothing, just an old fight that I don't want opened up." Gin said before turning around to face his underclassman. "Like I said before, it's better to just do what they say from now on."

"That doesn't really answer my question, what happened a year ago that made you so afraid of Kuyō and his men? If they are no better than a Yakuza Gang like the ones I fought before, then it would be better to fight back."

"Trust me, these guys are different from the ones you fought. And they are on a different league then those guys you and the others have faced." Rubbing the back of his head, the expression on Gin's face went cold, "None of you would stand a chance."

"What do you mean we don't stand a chance?" Naruto questioned with his eyes flashing red, "You of all people know that I'm not weak, the same for you, Moka and Haku. The four of us are more than enough to-"

"Damn it, just leave it alone Naruto!" Gin shouted with an aggravated grunt.

Naruto gritted his teeth before shouting back at Gin, "Not until you tell me why you're so afraid of these guys that you say we shouldn't fight back!"

Minutes seemed to pass as the two glared at each other, and soon Gin closed his eyes before let out a heavy sigh. "… Fine, if you really won't let this go then I'll tell you… Last year, the previous Newspaper Club-"

"The previous Newspaper Club tried to stand against them and were almost completely destroyed."

Naruto turned around to see Haiji walking out of the doorway leading to the rooftops, "Haiji? Wait, did you say destroyed?!"

"What the hell are you doing here?" Gin frowned as he watched his fellow student walk up to them.

"I had heard about what happened with the Newspaper Club and the Public Safety Commission, and came to check on you guys." Haiji replied before glancing at Naruto, who raised an eyebrow in confusion. "The Newspaper Club tried to show everyone how corrupt they had become, but that only made them a target for Kuyō and his lackeys."

"So Gin did try to fight back…"

"And it ended horribly. That's why I was saying that the best thing to do is nothing," Gin gripped the railing as he turned to look out at the area surrounding the school, "You and Haku can handle yourself just fine, but what about the rest of the group. Moka can't release her seal on her own and the others aren't ready to fight someone on Kuyō's level."

Naruto quietly watched Gin's back for a few seconds before turning his head away to look at the ground. "I understand what you're saying…"

"Good now let's just drop it and-"

"But I won't let them hurt any of them, because I will protect them no matter what… If the Public Safety Commission wants to harm anyone that's precious to me, then starting today I will consider them my enemies." Naruto spun on his feet and headed towards the rooftop entrance, leaving Haiji and a quiet Gin by themselves.

Once the two heard the sound of the door closing, a small smirk appeared on his face. "Not a bad guy, he's young but has a lot of character. It the complete opposite of what you would expect someone with Vampire blood in their veins to react." Haiji turned his head to look at Gin's still form, "You may act like you won't do anything, but we both know you won't stand by and watch if your club gets involved."

"… Yeah, I guess." Gin replied before leaning onto the rail, looking up at the sky with a small smile on his face, "There's no way I could face her if I just abandoned them. Not after everything she did for me."

"She was really strong too, if she was still around I bet Kuyō wouldn't have been able to try anything against the Newspaper Club." Haiji said with a chuckle, "If Naruto does somehow manage to beat Kuyō then some might see him as her successor, especially since he is in the same club she was before graduating."

"I doubt it. The guy has heart but still a long way to go before he could be considered the next "strongest of all generations" like her." Gin waved his hand in a dismissive motion before glancing down at the ground level were Naruto was seen running out of the building. 'But still… to think he would actually say something almost word for word to what San had said to me back then…'

ANUNMANUNMANUNMAUNMANUNMANUNMANUNMANUNMANUNMANUNMANUNMANUNMANUNM

"Just stay still and die!" A slighty-transformed Keito shouted as she sprayed a mass of her thread as Tsukune, who leaped out of the way with ease before he shifted behind a tree to use it as a shield to intercept another large amount of thread heading towards him. Unfortunately Kurumu had gotten caught and was wrapped up in Keito's sticky web, watching fearfully as Keito continued her assault on Tsukune.

Dodging to the side, Tsukune couldn't help but smile to himself in amazement. 'All that training is paying off, these threads of hers are a lot slower than Naruto's punches. If I can continue keep this up then maybe I can think of a way to save Kurumu.'

After a few minutes Keito gritted her teeth before she released several thick threads and sent them in multiple directions around Tsukune. The Human had managed to successfully evade them, but was not prepared for Keito to suddenly appear in front of him and cover him in her thread. With a yank of the strings, Keito dragged Tsukune though the air and slammed him into a tree, making him cough up blood.

"Tsukune!" Kurumu shouted with a scared tone as she watched her Destined One slid to the ground with a painful grunt.

"I'm amazed you were able to dodge my threads for so long, but it doesn't matter now… I ALWAYS CATCH MY PREY IN THE END!" Keito cackled madly as she spun Tsukune around and continued to him hard into tree after tree. After a few more times of listening to Tsukune's pain-filled shouts, Keito moved up to the brunette with a fiendish grin. "I guess this means that I can kill you now."

"G-Go to hell… I thought students weren't allowed to transform on campus." Tsukune questioned as he stared at the six long black and yellow spider legs sticking out of the lower part of her shirt where a large hole resided just under her breasts.

Keito giggled playfully as she approached, "That's because the Public Safety Commission is has special permission to transform and use our powers as we see fit. It's just one of the many reasons why we exist on a whole different plane than you!"

Tsukune let out a pained chuckle as he leaned his injured body against the tree, a trail of blood falling down his face. "That is the ugliest thing I've ever seen. If my life weren't in danger, I'd probably barf."

"Shut up you worthless scum!" Keito crawled toward Tsukune on all six legs with an enormous grin that reached almost to the back of her head. Her teeth grew and became fangs while four fang-like appendages ripped their way out her jaw and a second pair of eyes opened to stare hungrily at him. She then slashed across Tsukune's stomach with one of her spider legs, leaving a gash and earning another cry of pain from the Human.

Tsukune's face twisted in disgust. "You know what, I think I'm gonna barf anyway…"

"You just don't know when to shut that mouth of yours," The Jorōgumo raised one of her spider legs in the air and was fully prepared to deliver the finishing blow. "Any last words before you die?"

"Just one… RASENGAN!"

"AAAARRRGGHH!" The next thing Keito knew, something slammed into her back and sent her hurtling into several trees away from Tsukune. The spider woman screamed out in pain as she crashed into a few of them before finally coming to stop. She slowly raised herself up and was shocked to see Naruto standing where she had been while Moka, Haku and Kurumu, who managed to free herself, were kneeling down next to Tsukune, the blunette checking him for injuries.

"Are you okay Tsukune?! That wound looks bad!"

To her surprise, Kurumu felt Tsukune's hand pat the top of her head as he looked at her with a concerned expression. "Are you okay Kurumu-chan?"

"Y-You idiot! You're the one who's injured!" The Succubus cried as she bowed her head against his chest, ignoring the remaining sticky thread as tears of relief fell down her face.

"Th-This is n-nothing compared to Naruto's training, so I'll be fine." Tsukune replied with a weak smile before he noticed Haku summoning a small flame in his hand. "What are you-?"

"Hold still," Haku warned as he gently placed the flame against the threads wrapped around his friend's body. "My flames are going to burn away that thread so remain still to not get burned."

"H-How dare you… attack me!" Keito shouted as she shot a thick thread at them, only for Naruto to move in front of them and have the thread wrap around his arm. "You fool, now you're mine…?!" All of Keito's eyes widened in shock as she kept jerking the thread in her hands, but Naruto wouldn't move an inch. 'I don't understand, HOW IS HE RESISTING?!'

"… I gave you guys a warning, and now I'm pissed… How dare you attack my friends?!" Naruto shouted while removing the seal from his bracelet, and for a few seconds nothing seemed to happen… until a single spark erupted from Naruto's bracelet and covered his body before it began to transform into his released state. The Dhampir slowly opened his eyelids to reveal the crimson eyes behind them except something seemed off about them, they seemed more… malicious. "You're going to suffer for your actions."

"N-Naruto-kun?" Moka muttered as she felt the demonic energy he was releasing was a lot larger than normal, next to her Kurumu and Tsukune were trembling as even the Human could feel something in the air.

Haku tensed as he studied Naruto's form, "Something's wrong. I've never felt his power go this high before… and this bloodlust-!"

"What is this power I'm feeling?! It's as if every single part of my body is screaming at me to get away from this man and hide!" Keito's body shook from fear as she felt Naruto's gaze pointed directly at her before she watched him grab onto the thread connecting the two of them, "W-Wait… I was wrong!"

Naruto seemed to ignore this as he used one hand to pull the Jorōgumo towards him through the air while he used his nails to cut the palm of his hand, and just as Keito reached a foot away from him Naruto slammed his bloody hand into her stomach. "You're too late."

"Y-You fool! Raising your hands against us and striking a member of the Police Safety Commission," Keito groaned as she felt Naruto's hand pull out of her newest wound and fell to the ground. "DON'T THINK WE'LL LET YOU OFF EASILY!?"

"… I want you to do me a favor."

Keito blink in confusion at his words, "Huh? What are you-"

"I want you to take a good look at my face."

"Y-Your face?"

"That's right," Naruto leaned in close until his head was inches from Keito's. "Look hard at my face and study every single detail…"

"W-Why d-do you..."

"Just watch my face as best as you can."

"IS THERE A POINT TO THIS?!" Keito shouted angrily before she suddenly felt her body freeze up and start to move out without her control. Seconds later she was floating in midair with her human and spider limbs stretched out a far as they could go. Naruto grabbed one of the spider legs and crushed it with ease making the woman scream in pain before her voice got even louder as her other five spider legs suddenly exploded at the same time.

"Yes there is… Now then," With a crooked grin appearing on his face, Naruto slammed his fist into the Jorōgumo's head and sent her spinning into the air with blood circling around her as she crashed into several more trees. "DOES IT LOOK LIKE I GIVE A FUCK!?" Knowing he wasn't going to get an answer any time soon, Naruto walked closer to the fatally injured woman and raised his arms into the air making the blood Keito had spilt lift off of the ground.

"H-How is he doing that? I thought his Blood Bending only worked on other people's blood if he's tasted it!" Kurumu called out in shock as she watched Naruto walked towards Keito's beaten body with the blood swirling around his arms.

"… Of course!" Haku's eyes widened when he figured out what had happened, "When Naruto-sama had cut his palm before to make it bleed, he injected his blood into Keito's body when he stabbed her. A little cut like that would only make a very small amount of his blood but that was all it took for him to take control of her since he spread it throughout her body."

Naruto let out a dark chuckle before raising his hand, using his powers of Blood Bending to lift Keito's body into the air. The blood surrounding Naruto's arm shot out and stabbed Keito in multiple areas of her body causing the nearly unconscious girl's eyes to snap open as she let out another scream.

"AAAAAAAAGGGGHHH!"

"Something's wrong with him, I've never seen Naruto this sadistic before." Tsukune gritted out as he held the wound on his stomach, thankfully it wasn't too bad and Haku sealed it up with his ice.

"And all this bloodlust and power coming from him, it's unreal." Kurumu added as she couldn't help but take a step back.

Moka was quiet as she watched Naruto let out laughed as he held Keito's head up, "What's a matter, I thought I would regret hitting you? Maybe now you realize it was the other way around… well too late now." The blood flowed into the palm of Naruto's hand and started to glow as it took the shape of a small sphere, "This ball of blood is filled to the brim with my demonic energy, let's see what happens when it hits you."

With a pull of his arm, Naruto tossed the limp Keito a few feet in the air and readied the blood ball to strike. But as he was about to strike he felt a pair of arms wrap around his chest making him snap his head back to see a familiar head of pink hair pressed against his back. He continued to stare at her even when he heard Keito's body crash into the ground behind him.

"Please stop… This isn't you Naruto-kun." The glowing ball of blood diminished and quietly faded away from Naruto's hand as he looked down at her without saying a word. "You've already won the battle, so please… go back to your old self…"

Her words seemed to snap Naruto out of it as the demonic energy surrounding started to lessen and the Dhampir placed his seal back onto his bracelet, but as soon as he did that his body started to feel weak and his body dropped surprising the pinkette as she fell to her knees due to her holding on to him. Moka looked up to see that Naruto's hair color had returned to normal and was looking down at her with his amethyst eyes. "...Moka-chan… what was I…?"

"Are… Are you okay now Naruto-kun?"

"… Yeah…" Naruto looked from Kagome to the cut on his palm, which had already finished healing up. 'What the hell was that? It's like my mind went completely blank and all I could feel was the desire to make Keito suffer. To kill her with my own two hands… and I was enjoying it. Is it because of that dream me?' Naruto and Moka were silent as they stood up from their spot on the ground and started walking over to Tsukune, Kurumu and Haku, leaving the beaten and unconscious Keito behind them. As the group began to make their way to the infirmary, Naruto placed a hand on Moka's shoulder and smiled at her. "Thank you for snapping me out of it."

Returning his smile with one of her own, Moka let out a giggle. "It's no problem, I'm just happy you're back." The rest of the walk for the group was in silence, since all of them knew that this was just the beginning.

(PSC Headquarters)

"What?" Kuyō roared in anger. "Keito was defeated?"

"Y-Yes sir, according to the reports it was Naruto Namikaze who defeated her. Keito was left so badly injured that she is currently in the infirmary's emergency care with no chances of her making a complete recovery." One of the PSC underlings hesitantly answered while cowering at his leader's fury.

"It seems like that damn Newspaper Club will continue to be a thorn in my side. They seemed to have forgotten what we did to them last year…" Kuyō seethed as his gold eyes burning with hatred before he took a deep breath and he smirked sadistically. "Then so be it. If they want to defy me than I will crush them with my own hands."

"Now now, take a moment to think about the situation before you act. Even if you are police, destroying a club for no reason will only result in trouble for you," A feminine voice called out from behind them, making the lower ranked members of the Public Safety Commission to spin around quickly to see who spoke up.

"Who are you?!"

Kuyō silently studied the figure walking out of the shadow, blinking in slight surprise as he recognize who the figure was. "You? What are you doing here?"

"Normally I would have no trouble erasing them from the Academy myself I weren't disabled at the moment." The figure said from the shadows, "But even so, I would be more than happy to let you in on an interesting little piece of information involving one of the Newspaper Clubs members."

"And what info you possibly give me?" Kuyō asked almost sarcastically.

"There's a very strong possibility that the student Tsukune Aono is a Human." The figure said with a dark grin on their face before continuing, "In which case you and your group would have no issues at all due to the school rules clearly stating in that all Humans who come here are to be killed on sight."

"Did you just say one of them was a Human?" A feral grin grew on Kuyō's as ideas started to go through his head, "That is very interesting to hear… especially since no Human is allowed to enter our Academy."

"Exactly." The figure nodded their head while the hair coming from their head started to move around in an unpredictable pattern, "And with that law, you would be free to kill not only him but the other members of the Newspaper Club as well."

"Maybe so, but there is still the fact that Naruto Namikaze and Haku Kagyuki are also in the club. If I or my men were to do anything to them then we would most definitely be killed by the Clan, or I would be banished form my clan and have to be on the run for the rest of my life." Kuyō replied before turning his head away from the figure. "As much as I would love to make them suffer I do not want to suffer the wrath of the Kyuubi and our brethren."

"Ah~ But that is only if you were involved with their deaths." The figure spoke up before turning to the side to show another figure was walking up behind her, "Luckily for you I have someone here who wants to see Naruto Namikaze dead, and I'm sure he would have no problem dealing with Kageyuki as well."

"Who exactly is this person and what is his business with Namikaze?" Kuyō questioned as he watched the second figure emerge from the shadows to reveal a tan-skinned man of average height with short black and white striped hair, narrow slit-like golden eyes and dark stripe-like marks on both sides of his face right above his pointy ears.

"The names Jūra… and let's just say I have a bone with that Vampire for trashing my gang." The man now name Jūra answered as his eyes flashed through the darkness.

(Headmaster's Office)

"… Are you certain about this Nurari?" Mikogami questioned as he looked away from the window of his office to face his smoking Bus Driver, "This wasn't simply Naruto getting angry at the girl for attacking his friends?"

Nurari shook his head as he placed an open folder on top of the headmaster's desk, wide open to reveal several medical reports and pictures of Keito's condition. You could hardly recognize the girl with all the damage that had been dealt to her. "You know as well as I do that I would not make something like this up. Just take a look at this girl's condition, Naruto didn't just inflict physical damage to her but mental as well. The doctors had to use a huge concentration of sedatives to calm her down and put her to sleep since she wouldn't stop screaming."

"Minato had warned us about this… but I didn't think it would actually happen." Mikogami made his way to his chair before letting himself fall into his seat with a sigh, "To think that would start to come undone at a time like this."

"From what I saw it has to do with that nick in his bracelet, it started to spark when he released the seal. It could be that during his battle with Fairy Tale one of his opponents had cut the bracelet without him knowing." Nurari deduced as he recalled what he had seen earlier in the battle.

Mikogami crossed his fingers in front of his face and closed his eyes in thought, opening them a few seconds later. "There's no choice… Nurari, I want you to get in contact with Minato as soon as possible."

"Yes sir, hopefully he will be able to tell us something." With that said, Nurari made his way out of the room leaving Mikogami to himself.

The priest-looking man leaned back in his chair, "… If Naruto's second seal were to be released than there would be no telling what would happen. I only hope nothing happens until Minato and Kushina arrive." But despite the words he had just spoken, the Dark Lord had the feeling that things were not going to go as smoothly as he hoped they would. And with the experience he had gained throughout the many years he had been alive, he knew that his senses were going to be spot on.

Omake

"HAHAHAHA, This is what you fools get for going against me and the Public Safety Commision!" Keito laughed in her spider form, staring up at Kurumu and Tsukune who were tied up in web bindings while Moka was stuck to a tree several feet away, "This is how I handle things, because you should never send a man to do a woman's job!"

"Damn it, I can't get loose!" Kurumu whined as she struggle to escape the web.

Next to her Tsukune was also struggling, but stopped when he felt a shiver go up his spine. 'This feeling… oh god, PLEASE TELL ME HE ISN'T!'

As Keito continued to laugh, the sound of footsteps could be heard coming from the path behind her. The sounds got louder and soon made every, even Keito who had stopped laughing, turn to see Naruto walking out of the shadows with his hands in his pockets. Haku was standing next to him with a nervous look on his face.

"… Naruto Namikaze, the man whose 'walks' disrupts the peace that we protect by slaughtering dozens every time."

"Thank you~! I try to make my walks as enjoyable as I can. Though I haven't reached Anthony Hopkins' level yet, and don't get me started on my dad's record." Naruto pouted for a few seconds before a beastly grin quickly grew on his face as he released a large amount of power from his body, before he looked up at the web above his head. "Anyways~ those webs you had were very nice."

"Had?" As soon as she said that, the webs holding her three victims were ripped apart and set aflame. Before she could do anything, Haku rushed forward and grabbed Moka, Tsukune and Kurumu before moving them to a safe distance… though it wasn't from Keito.

"That's right, had… So spider-chick, how do you want to die?"

The ominous presence Keito was feeling coming from Naruto, it was several times greater than what she felt from Kuyō. The spider-woman quickly tried to pull herself together as she prepared to attack, her face changing and she attached several webs to the daggers in her hands. "M-My name is Keito, a member of the Yokai Public Safety… AND I COMMAND YOUR RESPECT!"

"No… you demand my attention." Naruto replied with a bored look on his face. Keito let out a growl as she manipulated her thread and started slashing Naruto's body repeatedly, though even then Naruto's cries of pain seemed… bored. "Ow! …Oooh! …Ouch!"

"I don't have to take this from you!" Keito shouted as she continued her assault, not noticing the grin growing on Naruto's face with each slash dealt upon him. "You racist, cisgendered, patriarch-propagating, MISOGYNISTIC PIG!"

"… The funny thing is-" The Jorōgumo then let out a horrified gasp as Naruto grabbed the daggers and ripped them from the threads, and with a bloodthirsty grin threw two of them back at her. The daggers zoomed past her and cut through her spider legs like paper, making her fall to the ground. Naruto let out a laugh as he crushed the remaining dagger and started walking to the terrified woman. "In any other circumstance, you might have had a point there… Except most of my teachers and influences were women, I can turn into a chick whenever I want thanks to certain techniques, I hate and treat everyoneequally, and there's no one alive who can comprehendmy sexual preferences and fetishes."

'F-Fetishes?!' A red-faced Moka thought to herself as her body trembled, though it was unknown whether if it was from fear… or something else. The rosary on her chest was also blushing red as the gem resembled a twitching eye.

Keito looked up in fear as Naruto stood over her with his eyes glowing red and his form emitting a killer intent that seemed to warp the area around them, "So in other words, Miss Keito… CH-CH-CH-CHECK YOUR PRIVILEGE!" With a powerful kick to the face, Naruto sent Keito flying through the air and her body crashing into the school's furnace. The impact caused the furnace's door to open and a giant blaze erupted through the hole.

Flinching from the strong heat next to her, Keito barely had time to register Naruto appearing in front of her before grabbing her by the throat and lifting her body into the air. The Dhampir slammed her body against the wall, inches away from the roaring flames. "W-Wait- What are you-?!"

'Oh? Haven't you heard of Cambodian's most popular delicacy?" Naruto questioned as he grabbed Keito's head with his other hand and pushed her struggling head closer to the fire, "It's translated as… The Fried Spider."

The sounds of Keito's screams could be heard as black smoke filled the air.

(Later That Day)

"We've still haven't heard anything from Keito?" Kuyō questioned his men from his seat at his desk.

One of the men shook his head, "Unfortunately no sir. We've been looking for her throughout the school's boundary but still nothing."

"I don't understand… just where that woman could have disappeared to." Kuyō took notice to the large package in his other subordinates hands, "And what it that?"

"I don't know sir. It's addressed to you… but it arrived in a very weird manner."

"Weird manner? How so?" Kuyō questioned with a raised eyebrow.

"A bunch of carrier pigeons left it at the entrance."

"… Did you just say… carrier pigeons?"

"That's right sir… We already checked it for any signs of it being a trap and found nothing." After receiving a hand signal to leave his leader's office, he man placed the package on the desk and retreated from the office as quickly as he could with the others following after him.

Once he was left alone in his office, Kuyō opened the box and took a look inside. "Hmm? What the-WHY WOULD SOMEONE SEND ME SOMETHING AS STUPID AS FRIED FOOD?!"
