Chapter 12 – The Academy's Next Strongest Student
"I… nearly died?" A surprised Naruto questioned, the other teens in the room joined him in staring at the adults in the room with shocked expressions.
Minato nodded his head while Kushina looked away with sadness as her husband continued to speak, "That's right. It happened just after you were born. You see, while Dhampirs do not have the same weaknesses as Vampires and Humans, there are a few difficulties that they can suffer from."
"Difficulties?" Kurumu repeated with a raised eyebrow.
"I think I read something like that before when it comes to Human/Yokai Halfbreeds." Yukari spoke up causing everyone to turn to her as she continued to speak, "From what I read, it is possible that they can be born with weak bodies, genetic difficulties such as being born sterile, and other ailments. This varies depending on the Yokai parent, like what kind of monster they are, their power levels and even something small like their blood type. To be honest, I think Naruto-niisan is one of the lucky few that actually managed to live to his teenage years."
"Really? But there must be lots Yokai with a Human parent live long lives. I mean, what about Kurumu's race?" Tsukune asked as he motioned to the girl still on his lap, "From what she's said about Succubus' finding their Destined One, that person can be anyone from any race."
"Oh, so you have been paying attention to what she's said. Getting ideas, Tsukune?" Gin grinned as he moved next to the brunette Human and wrapped an arm around Tsukune's neck, making the Human's face turn red. …"
"W-What? No, Yes, I mean." Tsukune started to fumble with his words as he tried to escape Gin's grip while Kurumu grinned brightly before she decided to answer Tsukune's question.
"While that is true Tsukune, there are some Yokai races that have unique birthing outcomes. Succubae, for example, can either give birth to female Succubus, or males that belong to the father's race. There are very, very rare occurrences however, when they can give birth to male babies known as an Incubus. So you see, most of the time when a Yokai gives birth to a child they are either one or the other, it is almost never both." Kurumu explained making those that knew her look at the blunette with shock expressions. "What?"
"Did you actually give an intelligent answer?" Yukari asked with an amazed expression only for the Succubus to punch the back of her head, "Owie!?"
"Hmph!" Kurumu crossed her arms with a huff.
"Um… Maybe we should let Minato-sama continue his story." Haku said as he was really interested in hearing about Naruto's past.
Naruto nodded his head as he waved a hand in the air, "Yeah. Really want to know about this 'almost dying' thing."
"Ahem," Minato cleared his throat causing the others to look back at him, this time they all remained silent as the students stared at the straight-faced Minato. "Going back to what I saw starting to tell you. When you were born Naruto, your body very weak. Now, this is something that can happen with regular Vampires as well, but it was worse in your case due to your Human half. Your mother was weak from childbirth and I was holding you in my arms… To be honest, that was the first time I ever felt so powerless… I actually beg whatever deity I could think of to keep you alive."
"Dad…" Naruto muttered as he watched his father leaned forward a bit before clasping his hands together tightly.
"It was at that moment that I realize how I could save you, no matter what consequences I would face later down the road…" A bitter smile formed on the older Vampire as he continued, while Kushina placed a hand on his shoulder. "I gave you as much of my blood as I could."
"Blood Transfusion. It is true that Vampires have a powerful regenerative ability to even revive people that were fatally injured." Moka explained, for some reason feeling a strange sense of déjà vu as she thought about Minato's story. But after a few seconds she shook her head to clear her head before speaking up, "But I don't understand. Even with the healing power, passing such a thing to a newborn is very dangerous."
"I am aware of that, but that's why my blood was the perfect thing to save him, even if there was a good chance that it wouldn't work." Minato answered while taking a deep breath, not taking his eyes off the group as he continued, "You see, I am not a normal Vampire. I am what is known as a Shinso Vampire, which is a class that is higher than S-class and have much higher capabilities than normal Vampire."
"Hmmm, I think I've heard of Shinso Vampires. They're supposed to be some of the strongest Yokais on the planet, though they are very low in number." Gin noted as he raised his free hand to scratch the side of his face, a small bead of sweat going down his cheek. It was true that he had heard some stories from the older Werewolves in his family, and none of them were downsizing the scarlet-eyed blood suckers in the least.
Kushina nodded her head at Gin's words, "That's right, and according to Minato, there are only a handful of Shinso Vampires in existence. Minato's blood managed to save Naruto's life, and also turned him into a Shinso Dhampir, but it also caused a side-effect that we didn't discover until he was seven years old, the day he awakened his powers."
"When I was seven…?!" Naruto's eyes widened as he glanced down at his bracelet, remembering the morning that he first found the leather seal on his wrist. "But that was after Jasmine-"
"Yes… Jasmine's death triggered your powers," Minato said as he closed his eyes. "You see, from what I could tell, you actually were the first one to find Jasmine. But when you found her, Jasmine was still on death's door…and by the time that I got there, it was too late."
(Flashback)
'Damn it!' Minato thought to himself as he emerged from the forest with a worried look, trying to find Naruto who had ran off after Akua had arrived at the temple. The girl had told them all about how the villagers had discovered what she and Jasmine truly were and how she attacked a boy while trying to defend Jasmine, before telling them how Jasmine had separated from Akua when the two were on their way to the temple. Several hours had already passed since then and both Akua and Minato had split up to find both Naruto and Jasmine before things turned sour.
"Minato-sama!" The blonde turned his head to see an equally worried Akua running up to him, coming to a stop to regain her breath.
"Akua, I take it you haven't been able to find them either."
The younger Vampire shook her head before standing up straight, "No, and I can't sense Jasmine's energy either. Usually I can tell where she is, but…"
"Don't worry." Minato said as he placed a hand on her shoulder, "We'll find them both and then leave this place. I'll even find a secure place for you to live together that's not too far from us."
"… I really appreciate it, Minato-sama… But," Akua couldn't finish her sentence as she clenched one of her hands into a tight fist. Memories of all the fun she had with Jasmine after living here for so long, as well as the times they spent with Naruto circling through her mind. The final image that went through her mind was of Jasmine, slapping her in the face before turning around to head back to the village. "I'm really worrie-!?"
Akua and Minato halted their conversation as a sudden pressure started filling the air, one that made Akua's eyes widen as she slowly recognized the energy she was sensing… one that shouldn't be possible. Snapping their heads to the direction where the source was coming from, the two instantly started sprinting towards it, with Minato several paces faster than Akua. It didn't take them long to reach the source of the energy… and the carnage that covered the area.
Blood. There was so much blood pooling out of the Human corpses piled on top of one another, so much that it formed a reflecting pool. Some of the corpses where only torn remains, or mangled beyond belief… but many of their faces were intact enough to show the terror and pain that they experienced in their final moments. The next thing that Akua took notice to was the strange crimson-black energy tendrils stretching into the air with even more corpses hanging from spikes that were sticking out…. But the most insane part was what was at the center of it, standing on the ground while holding up a struggling Human by the throat.
'N-Naruto-chan?!' Akua thought to herself as she watched the now silver-haired boy lift his head up to reveal his scarlet-red eyes. Looking at the struggling Human in Naruto's hands, Akua instantly recognized him as the boy that she attacked.
"What's a matter! I thought you wanted to kill monsters like me!" Naruto laughed insanely as he tightened his grip on the teenager's throat, causing blood to flow from the spots on his neck that Naruto's fingers were pressing on. The silver-haired boy pulled back his fist, which was covered in the same demonic energy, and delivered a punch to the teenager's arms, shattering it and making the teenage boy let out a painfilled shriek. "But then again, who are the real monsters here? HUH?!"
"Naruto! That's enough!" Minato called out from the outside of the spiraling tendrils. Watching as blood started falling like rain onto both Naruto and the boy, with the former continue to punish the teenager by. Narrowing his eyes, Minato turned his head to look at Akua, "We need to stop him before he…? Akua?" Not seeing the girl respond as her focused remained on a single spot off to the side, Minato followed her gaze and his eyes widened to see the upper, half of a naked Jasmine lying off to the side… the only thing on her body being her hairclip, which was clumsily placed in her hair. "No…"
"… They killed her…" Akua said with an emotionless tone, though the tears falling down her face contradicted this. "She tried to make peace with them… and they killed her…"
More screams were suddenly heard making them turn to see the tendrils were now pinning the teenager to the ground while Naruto was crouch over him and holding his face, squeezing it to tightly that one of the boy's eyeballs popped out and blood sprayed through the air. Pulling the arm back, Naruto let out a roar as he grabbed the boy's remaining arm and ripped it off with a single pull.
Hovering over the mangle, but still barely alive boy, Naruto narrowed his eyes. "It's your fault! It's all your fault!"
'This power… could it be?' Akua thought to herself as she could sense Naruto's power continue to rise as pure darkness oozed out of his body. Raising a hand to move the tendril out of her way, Akua was surprise when blew her hand back causing steam to come off it. The next thing she knew, Akua saw Minato crouching in front of Naruto with a hand pulled back before he slammed his open palm into Naruto's forehead. The darkness around the young Dhampir started to slowly fade and the energy tendrils surrounding them evaporated, allowing all the bodies it was holding up to fall to the bloody ground with a splash.
Frowning slightly, Minato pulled his hand back to reveal that he placed a rosary on Naruto's forehead. The gem on the rosary glowing lightly as Naruto's hair returned to normal and his eyes went back to their default color, before his eyes slowly closed and his body fell to the side. The blood in his hair splashed against his face and resembled tears as they went down his face.
"I'm sorry, Naruto." Minato said with sadness in his eyes as he lifted his unconscious son up and pulled off the rosary. "If only I was a little faster."
"Minato-sama… Was that-?" Akua started to ask as she walked closer to the two Namikazes.
"I'll answer all of your questions when we return back to the temple, the rosary sealing is only temporary, Kushina and I need to apply the real thing as soon as possible. To think, all that power would affect him like this." Lifting up Naruto bridal-style, Minato glanced over to where Jasmine's body was located. "…Why don't you carry Naruto, I'll retrieve Jasmine."
"Thank you…" Gently taking Naruto from Minato, Akua sadly stared down at Naruto's face before moving her hand brush some of his hair off his face. 'To think, you of all people would have that power… The power of the First Ancestor.' Hearing a pained groan at her feet, Akua looked down to see that the boy was still alive. Her pupils shrunk as a she stared down murderously at the boy before she raised a hand and slashed downwards, causing blood to spray into the air as a large vertically cut suddenly appeared going down his body.
Cradling her pseudo-brother close to her body, Akua turned around and started to head back towards the temple with Minato several steps in front of her. Once they returned to the temple, they were greeted by a worried Kushina before she and Minato went to work on Naruto's double-layer seal that took several days to complete. It was a few days after that, that they held a funeral for Jasmine… and the last time Naruto would see Akua after mysteriously disappearing after the funeral.
(Flashback End)
"… I really… killed all of those people?" Naruto questioned as he raised a hand to his head, trying to remember anything from that day nine years ago. An static-like image flashed through his mind, one of a younger version of himself holding the bloody, upper half of Jasmine in his arms, a small smile on her face as she had a hand resting against his crying face. But the image disappeared as quickly as it came, followed by a sharp pain in his head that caused the Dhampir to flinch. "I-I don't remember any of it."
Kushina nodded her head with a solemn look on her face, "That is to be expected. The emotional trauma combined with the awakening of your powers left a mental scar. In fact, it took us a lot longer for us to put the seals on you the first time because your powers kept lashing out."
"Honestly, I was hoping that you wouldn't awaken the power of a Shinso Vampire so early." Minato said as he shook his head a few times, "And it was because of that, that we discovered a side-effect to receiving that power."
"You're talking about how he acted during the battle with that Chinese Mafia guy, Kuyō and his lackeys." Kurumu pointed out with a shiver as she remembered how gruesomely and mercilessly Naruto killed all the people who got in his way.
"Not to mention what he did to my arm." Gin added with a frown as he pointed to his sling.
"Correct," Minato nodded his head as he closed his eyes and took in a deep breath. "You see, the power of the Shinso Vampire is dark on its own and can easily corrupt those that possess it. For a Pureblood like myself, it is easy to handle that kind of power and remain in control of myself. But it is different for Dhampirs and even Humans who received blood from a Shinso Vampire. In Naruto's case, it warps his mentality. such as his inhibitions and other parts of his mind that allows him to show restraint. Though he can differentiate between friend and foe, when he activates his Shinso blood, Naruto's mind throws away his compassion and other forms of his humanity that would get in the way of what he wants."
"But he always seems to be in control when he releases the first seal, is this second seal that much stronger?" Tsukune questioned as he recalled the other battles that Naruto fought where he removed the seal on his bracelet, always showing self-control even when angered. But his thoughts soon drifted to Naruto's transformation against Keito and how ruthless he had been in their battle, and his use of Blood Bending to torture the spider woman… It made the Human a little queasy just thinking about it.
Moka brought a hand up to her own rosary hanging from her neck, thoughts of how much she changed when her seal was undone. Her fingers brushing lightly against the gem inside the rosary, not noticing it had a dim glow as it resembled a demonic eye. '… Shinso Vampires… I didn't Naruto would actually be one as well."
"It's hard to put into words for you kids since I'm sure you don't know that much about seals, but the level of the two seals are vastly different. The first seal is to hold his power back while the second one suppresses the Shinso power specifically, but there was a secondary purpose for the second seal."
"A secondary purpose?" Naruto repeated with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes, you see, the second seal was slowly converting that power into your own and slowly making your body adapt to it. That would help you with the side effects until you were ready to handle the full power Shinso." Minato explained, "Or rather, that was the original plan."
"What do you mean?" Moka asked with concern in her voice, the others having similar looks on their faces while Gin had a small frown on his face.
"Unlike the first time when he was only a child, Naruto had tapped into more of the Shinso this time around… The seal had taken some damage a while before this incident with Kuyō and leaked some of that power through. I'm sure you must've noticed it… Against that Jorōgumo." The older Vampire's words made Naruto think back to when he pulled of the rosary and was met with a delay before he finally transforms, and the way he acted after. "At the time, your seal was only cracked, which was the original reason why we came, but once your seal came off completely the scenario changed."
"Changed? What does that mean exactly?" Yukari questioned while clasping her hands in front of her heart.
Kushina was the one to answer the Witch's question as she walked over to Naruto and placed a hand on his bracelet, lifting it up and turning it to reveal a second, smaller rosary under his wrist. But unlike the rosary that Moka and Naruto had, this one was placed into a locket that was imbedded into the leather itself. "We had to completely remake the seal using something that Mikogami has in his possession known as a Holy Lock, though I only used it as a base since it is an incomplete seal and modified it."
"Modified it? What do you mean modified it?" Kurumu tilted her head in confusion at the redheaded woman's words.
"Kushina-sama is one of the remaining members of the Uzumaki Clan, a powerful clan of Human warriors that specialize in Spirit Energy and Sealing. In fact, the Uzumakis were so feared that it once took over five hundred high-ranked Yokais to go toe to toe with twenty members, and even then, the Uzumakis sealed their powers and purified them." Haku explained causing all the students in the room, minus Naruto and Haku, look at Kushina with shocked expressions while the woman herself rubbed the back of her head with a sheepish look.
"Oh, come on. Praises like that are so embarrassing, dattebane." Kushina said making the others blink.
"Dattebane?" Moka repeated in confusion
With a small bit of red appeared on her cheeks, Kushina continued to rub the back of her head as she explained, "I've been kinda hot-tempered since I was born and talking like that when I get excited...I try not to say it, but I'm a fast-talker and impatient so adding that to my sentences became a habit."
"Huh? So, it's a verbal tick? That's kinda cute." Kurumu said before a teasing grin appeared on her face as she looked at Naruto, "So does that mean that you got one too, Naruto?"
That question made all the other Newspaper Club members look at Naruto in curiosity, only for the blonde to look away from everyone with crossed arms. A clear sign that he did, yet he wasn't planning on telling them… which only made them want to know it even more.
But that didn't last long as Kushina cleared her throat to get everyone's attentions as she tried to go back to her previous explanation. "Anyway, the original purpose of the Holy Lock doesn't truly seal away the power completely, but suppress it and can damage the seal if the power becomes too much for it. I basically change it and made it much stronger… now it could handle Naruto taking off the first seal without it affecting the second seal."
Narrowing his eyes lightly at his mother's words, Naruto said nothing as he glanced down at his new bracelet. Silently clenching and unclenching his hand several times as he stared at the new addition to his seal.
"So… Does this mean that Naruto is back to normal?" Tsukune asked with concern for his best friend's condition.
Minato and Kushina looked at each other briefly before they looked back at the Yokai Academy students, the former shaking his head a few times. "For now, yes. But since this is a new seal, Kushina will be staying here to monitor it and make sure it is not going to harm Naruto or anyone else."
"Is that really going to be alright?" Gin spoke up with a frown as he raised up usable arm and pointed a thumb at Tsukune, "No offense, but we've already gone through a lot of trouble because of this guy. Will it really be okay for Kushina-san, another Human, to stay here when it is against the rules?"
"Oh, don't worry about me." Kushina said with a grin as she pumped an arm, a powerful amount of Spirit Energy could be seen coming from her, once again surprising the others. "I can easily take care of myself while I am here, besides, I'm sure I can get Mikogami to grant me special permission to be here. Maybe I can become a teacher-"
"NO!" Both Naruto and Haku shouted at the same time with fearful looks on their faces, more so on the former as the Dhampir's body shivered.
"Huh?" Kushina blinked in confusion while Minato let out a chuckle. As much as he loved his wife, even he had to admit that some of her teaching methods could be… very extreme.
Rising from his seat, Minato smiled at his son's friends before speaking. "Now then, I think its time for you all to head back to your dorms for some rest. I'm sure all of you must still be exhausted from everything that's happened."
"But…" Moka started to say, only to pause as Naruto placed a hand on her and flashed her a grin. "Naruto-kun?"
"Don't worry about me, Moka-chan. You guys just get some rest and I'll see you guys tomorrow." Naruto continued to smile as he lifted up his other hand that had the bracelet, "With this new seal, I should be able to go back to attending classes and the club meetings. I must've missed a bunch of stuff while I was asleep." His words seemed to have calmed the pinkette down as she nodded her head with a small smile of her own. One by one, all of Naruto's friends exited the room with Moka being the last one to leave, looking back at him one last time before the door closed with only Naruto, his parents and Haku in the room. The smile on his face faded and was quickly replaced with a serious expression, "… So, tell me, what is it that you were hiding from the others?"
"Naruto-sama?" Haku looked at his friend and master with a confused look.
"I knew you would figure it out. I guess I taught you too well when it came to Sealing Techniques." Kushina said with a shrug as she smiled softly. Minato had a similar look on his face, though his arms were crossed with a hand gripping onto his sleeve tightly.
"I'm an Uzumaki as much as I am a Namikaze… of course I would notice." Naruto replied as he held up the bracelet close to his face, the image of the darker version of him from his dream flashed through his mind, followed by his actions after the seal was destroyed. "… So that's what the smell was back then… the stench of blood… and darkness."

"Here Kushina-san, let me help you with that."
"Thank you. I'm glad my son made such a nice, polite friend! And don't worry about formalities dear, just call me Kushina."
Naruto scratched the back of his head as he and Minato watched the scene in front of them, the latter chuckling as he looked back at one of the older School Newspapers in his hands. The older Vampire was impressed with the work that his son and his friends had done, while the Dhampir himself was glancing back at his father.
"Dad?"
"Yes Naruto?"
"I know you guys are going to stay here for a while, but shouldn't you guys be in the living quarters that the Headmaster gave you? You both don't have to come and have breakfast with me in my dorm room." Naruto pointed out with a deadpanned expression.
"Hehe, believe me Naruto. I don't mind giving you your space, but you know how hard it is to go against your mother's wishes when she really wants to do something." Minato replied as lowered his paper as he tried to flash his son a comforting smile, before he glanced over at the small kitchen area that was available to the students in their dorms. "Besides, it looks like your mother and Moka are really getting along."
True to his word, the two females were cooking breakfast in the kitchen with the young Vampire helping the redheaded Human as she prepared the meal. The two wearing matching inverted aprons, with Moka wearing a pink one with a red lining and white bow while Kushina had a red apron with a white lining and a pink bow. Moka couldn't help but be amazed at the older woman's cooking skill as she watched her chop up some tomatoes and other vegetables to go with the omelet while stirring the soup pot on the stove, while the girl herself was working on the rice, following Kushina's directions.
"That is amazing, I would've never thought to mix herbal water and spices like that." Moka said in amazement.
Kushina only smirked as she took out the soup ladle and spun it expertly with her fingers, "Of course! Being the wife of a Vampire and the mother of a teenage Dhampir, I experimented and learned all I can about making meals using alternative methods! If you want, I can leave behind a few recipes for you to make for yourself and Naruto whenever you want."
"Really?! That would be wonderful!" Moka smiled brightly at Kushina, who smiled back at the pinkette before it shifted into a teasing grin.
"And I'm sure Naruto will enjoy your cooking even more." Kushina whispered to the girl while nudging Moka's side, causing the girl's eyes to widen.
"H-Huh?! N-No, I mean, t-that is…!" Moka stuttered as she backed away with red cheeks.
The older woman let out a giggle as she decided to cut the girl some slack, "Don't worry, I won't say anything yet. But I can easily see how smitten you are with him."
"… Any idea what they are whispering about?" Naruto leaned closer to his father as the two watched the females converse, the older one laughing while the younger girl had an embarrassed look on her face.
"Not a clue. With your mother, anything could be going through her mind." Minato replied, a knowing grin on his face told as he turned his attention back to the newspaper in his hands. Naruto blinked a few times as he tilted his head in confusion.
(A Little While Later)
"Hey, look! There's Naruto Namikaze!" A student whispered in a hush voice as she leaned closer to her friend while pointing at the blonde Dhampir as he walked with Moka toward the academy building. "Did you hear the rumor?"
"Rumor?"
"Yeah, their saying that three days ago…"
"Are you serious?! It was that bad?"
Glancing around with an uneasy look, Naruto quickly took notice to the stares he was getting from the other students. Some gazes were in awe, while some seemed to look at him with suspicion… and he could also see the looks on fear on a few faces.
'I suppose that is to be expected, especially after what I did to Kuyō and his men.' Naruto thought to himself as he tightened his grip on his bag, his actions catching Moka's attention causing a worried look to appear on her face. 'Weirdly enough, I don't feel that guilty about that, but letting myself lose that much control and actually threaten my friends…'
"Hey! Naruto, Moka!" The Dhampir and Vampire perk their heads up at the familiar voice and turned to see Kurumu and Tsukune walking up to them with the blunette waving her hand with a smile. "
"Kurumu, Tsukune, good morning." Moka replied with a smile as the four continued to walk down the path towards the academy.
"Good morning. I don't know about you guys but I never slept so hard as I did these last few nights." Tsukune chuckled as he rubbed the back of his head.
"I know, right? All that fighting the other day wore me out, but at least it's over and done with!" Kurumu cheered lightly as she pumped an arm into the air, "I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm glad that we can go back to focusing on our school work and the club's next newspaper."
"Now if only you were actually good at doing school work." Haku commented as he appeared behind Kurumu and Tsukune, causing the Succubus and Human to jump in shock while Moka took a step back in shock as she grabbed a blank-faced Naruto's arm.
"Damn it Haku! Why do you keep doing that?!" Kurumu angrily shouted as she gripped the collar of the Half-breed's uniform, revealing some of the bandages still wrapped around his body from the injuries from the other day.
Haku only shrugged his shoulders as he looked down at the blunette, "Dunno, just something I inherited from my Yuki-Onna half."
"He's not kidding, his mom and sister tend to do that sometimes as well." Naruto added with a grin before he let out a chuckle. He could remember the few times when he was younger, Haku's sister, Tsurara, would watch the two of them from around the corner or suddenly appear out of nowhere… not to mention the time when he accidentally froze him after she spilt hot tea on him. It was weird how she could be so graceful in battle and yet so clumsy when it came to almost everything else.
"Speaking of parents, where are Kushina-san and Minato-san?" Tsukune asked as he turned away from Kurumu shaking Haku like a ragdoll, only for the annoyed Half-breed to blow an icy breath at her and incase the Succubus in ice with a permanent shocked look on her face.
"They left before me saying something about talking to the Headmaster." Naruto's body shivered as a worried look appeared on his face, "I really hope Kaa-san was kidding about becoming a teacher…"
"I agree with Naruto-sama," Haku said with a similar expression on his face, "Unfortunately, Kushina-sama is most likely going to get her way. Minato-sama, on the other hand, I have no idea what he is going to do…"
"Is Kushina-san that bad of a teacher?" Tsukune asked worriedly, while next to him, Kurumu managed to escape her icy prison and catch up with them.
"Yeah, she seemed nice enough before." Kurumu added as the ground made it to the school building's entrance.
Naruto shook his head as the group walked up to the shoe lockers, "Kaa-san is a great teacher, it's just sometimes she can take things to the extreme when she wants to teach something. Not to mention, some of her methods are… unorthodox."
While the group was conversing by the lockers, a shadowy male figure could be seen sitting on one of the benches eavesdropping on the group, lifting a small dumbbell with one hand as he recalled some of the conversations he heard from other students earlier in the morning.
"Hey, did you hear that Kuyō of the Public Safety Committee was beaten up so badly he was taken to a special hospital!"
"What? Really?!"
"There's no way!"
"And Everyone always said that was so crazy strong that no one could beat him!"
"That's not all. The guy who beat him and took down the rest of the Safety Committee was Naruto Namikaze!"
"You're talking about the hot blonde First Year that's in the Newspaper Club!"
"Yeah, apparently was targeting them and Naruto beat him up!"
"Wow! So, he's not just attractive and smart, he's probably the toughest guy in school!"
Lowering his dumbbell with a snarl, the male figure narrowed his eyes as he stared at Naruto's back, "Just who are they calling the toughest in school?"
"Huh?" Naruto blinked before turning his head to the side and saw no one near them, raising an eyebrow with a puzzled look. 'That's weird, I could've sworn I sensed malicious intent just now…'
"Come on Naruto-kun, we don't want to be late for class. Especially after missing them for the last few days." Moka called out making Naruto turn his head to see that his friends already placed their shoes in their lockers and were waiting for him. Shrugging his shoulders, Naruto caught up to the rest of the group and started walking towards the classrooms, where they crossed paths with Yukari on the way before Kurumu left the group to head to her own homeroom class and the remaining four headed towards their classroom, where Nekonome-sensei was at the door to greet them with a warm smile.
"Welcome back you four, I was a little worried that you weren't going to show up today." Nekomone-sensei said with a relieved smile on her face.
"We're sorry we worried you Sensei." Moka apologized while bowing her head, with the other copying her movements.
The Feline Yokai shook her head as her cat-ears twitched a few times, "Don't be silly! It's a teacher's job to worry about her students, especially when they get into a scuffle with one of the most dangerous groups on campus, nyah."
'It was a bit more than just a scuffle!' Tsukune thought to himself with a sweatdrop before he and the others made their way toward their seats, though one thing was obvious before they even sat down. '… They're all staring at Naruto…'
'I suppose it's to be expected with how much Kuyō was feared and seen as unbeatable.' Haku glanced around the class to see that the students were either looking at Naruto in silent awe at his unbelievable victory over the former leader of the fearsome Police Safety Committee, while a few had fearful looks on their faces at the fact that Naruto was stronger than the dangerous Kuyō
Moka glanced over at Naruto as she heard a few low murmurings coming from around them, the Dhampir sitting in his seat silently as he kept his gaze focused on the front of the classroom. Naruto didn't seem to pay the whispering any mind as he silently reached into his bag and pulled out a small book, one that she realized was Chinese based on the visible title. The pinkette looked down at her desk with a frown at the way their classmates were acting towards her friends before she heard the sounds of clapping coming from the front of the classroom.
"Now, now, everyone. It's time to start class." Nekomone called out, bringing all the attention onto her. "We have a lot of ground to cover, so please pay attention!"
(After Classes)
Time seemed to go quickly as Naruto and the others went through class like any normal day. Despite the new attention the Newspaper Club members were getting from all the students, the group had managed to ignore it for the most part and everyone, except for Gin who was nowhere to be seen, decided to partly celebrate their victory over the Police Safety Committee. Kurumu, Tsukune and Yukari had gone on ahead to the Newspaper Club room/classroom ready while Naruto and Moka went to the miniature school store to get some snacks and such for the small party, making a small list of things to get for everyone. Haku had disappeared off to the bathroom and said that he would catch up with Naruto and Moka shortly. It didn't take the two long to reach the store where they each went took parts of the list and went their separate ways with Naruto in charge of chips and similar items while Moka was getting the beverages.
Walking down the aisle with a few bags in a small basket, Naruto came to a halt and shifted his eyes to the side without turning his head. 'Again, with this intent. Is it one of the Kuyō's former henchmen attempting to get revenge or something… no, it feels different.' Shaking his head a few times, Naruto continued down the aisle until he spotted Moka carrying her own basket filled with several drinks and cans. "Hey Moka, did you get all the drinks?"
"Yeah, though it seems that they are out of some things so I got a variety of similar stuff." Moka said with a smile as she lifted the basket up for Naruto to see, only for the blonde to sweatdrop when he saw that almost half of the drinks were several types of tomato juice.
"Um, Moka-chan. I know that you and I could get away with drinking tomato juice, but isn't this a bit much for the two of us?" Naruto asked as he looked up from Moka's basket to see the Vampire girl was now starring at him with a cute frown.
"… It's your fault." Moka said with a twitching eyebrow.
"Huh?" Her comment made Naruto blink a few times in confusion.
"I haven't drunk your blood in days, and tomato juice can only take me so far…!" Moka replied as she stared heavily at Naruto's neck, causing the sweatdrop the blonde had to grow larger as he watched her body tremble.
"… If you really want some of my blood, you're free to have s-" Naruto didn't even get to finish his sentence as Moka immediately moved closer to him with a hungry look on her face, the basket she had been holding was spinning in the air until Naruto reached out and grabbed the it before the beverages hit the floor.
Sinking her teeth into Naruto's neck, Moka let out a small squeal of delight as the delicious taste of the Dhampir's blood going down her throat. 'Aaaah~ So delicious! I missed this soooo much~!'
"Just don't too much now, we still need to get back to the others." Naruto said as he patiently waited for Moka to finish, his thoughts drifted, 'With the Shinso blood in my veins, I'm kind worried about how that will affect Moka-chan if she drinks too much.'
"That was great, I can't believe how much I actually missed that." A satisfied Moka as she placed her hands on her slightly red cheeks, "Your blood is so delicious, Naruto-kun."
"Geez Moka-chan, it's only been four days." Naruto let out a sigh as he handed Moka back her basket, "What are you going to do during the bre-"
"Your back is wide open pipsqueak," A voice growled out from behind Naruto as two massive arms that belonged to a muscular male casted a shadow over both of their heads.
Naruto's eyes narrowed as he dropped his basket and reached up to grab both arms before delivering a reverse leg sweep that caused the man to lose his balance the Dhampir wasn't finished as he used the momentum to spin around and throw the attacker through the store's window, reducing it to thousands of shards as the figure landed on the ground outside where a bunch of other students were located.
"Naruto-kun!" Moka called out as she watched the blonde make his way through the exit and walked up to the downed man.
"I didn't lower my guard, dumbass! Any idiot could sense your intent a mile away!" Naruto exclaimed as he crossed his arms, quickly noticing the two dumbbells that were in the muscular man's hands, he looked to be a sophomore like Gin or Haiji. From the looks of the blonde-haired man, he was wearing a work-out shirt that clung tightly to his muscular physique and sweatpants with a towel hanging off his shoulders. "You've been following me since this morning. So, what, are you someone from the PSC trying to get revenge or something?"
"Hehehe, you were aware of me the whole time… So, this is the power of the legendary Naruto Namikaze. You're not bad at all, even if you don't look like much." The muscular teen chuckled as he rose back to his feet, a strangely calm expression on his smirking face as he looked down at Naruto with his dark eyes. "My name is Chopper Riikishi of the Pro Wrestling Club, and I just want to confirm the rumor."
"Rumor?" Naruto repeated with a raised eyebrow.
"Were you really the one who beat Kuyō?" Chopper questioned as he pointed a finger at Naruto.
"… And if I was?" Naruto answered with a question of his own as he silently took notice to the crowd forming around them. The Dhampir's answer seemed to annoy Chopper as he narrowed his eyes and a twitch mark formed on his forehead.
"Y'know something. I've been aiming at that guy for a long time now." Chopper explained as he dropped one of his dumbbells, displaying their weight as the floor crack and break apart. "Pro Wrestlers like myself seek ultimate strength above all else! If I had been the one to defeat Kuyō, the strongest Yokai student at the Academy, my strength would have reached a whole new level. But that didn't happen! Instead, I find out that some random student came out of nowhere and beats Kuyō before I even get the chance!"
"So that is what this is about?"
"It certainly a bold move challenging Namikaze like this."
"I guess it is true that he is one of the strongest Yokais now."
"Naruto-kun…" Moka whispered to herself as she worriedly stared at Naruto's back.
Reaching up a hand to scratch his hair, Naruto listened to the murmuring of the crowd for a few seconds before letting a heavy sigh. "… Look, Chopper, was it? I'm really not in the mood to fight anyone right now," Naruto said as he turned his head away from the Pro Wrestling Club Member, who frowned as he stopped lifting his remaining weight. "Everything that happened against Kuyō was because he was threatening to kill my friends. I honestly could care less about being the strongest student at Yokai Academy."
"… So, you're saying that you don't want to fight me because you are not in the mood?" Chopper questioned with an angry look on his face, "Those are the words of a coward!"
"You can call me whatever you want, the words of a hypocrite mean nothing to me" Naruto replied without turning around, his words causing Chopper to grind his teeth. "I came to Yokai Academy to learn and make friends, not to make enemies."
"Wow, he's certainly nicer than I thought he was."
"Naruto's not just strong and cute, he's loyal and humble too!"
"I kinda feel bad now for being afraid of him."
Feeling slightly better after hearing the new chatter around him as he walked back to the store, Naruto could see a smiling Moka staring at him through the broken window. "Now then Moka-chan, we should get the rest of the stuff for the party."
"R-Right…?! Naruto-kun, behind you!" Moka called out while pointing behind him, making him spin around to see Chopper rushing towards him with an arm raised up.
"LIKE I'LL ACCEPT THAT KIND OF ANSWER!" Chopper shouted as he swung his arm down towards a frowning Naruto, only for another arm to block the Pro Wrestler. Gritting his teeth while following the arm to see who blocked his attack and was surprised to see it was a smiling Gin and scowling Haku.
"Hmph. A despised asshole like always, huh, Rikiishi?" Gin said as he pushed back Chopper's muscular arm with ease, even with one of them being in a sling. "And here I thought attacking someone from behind was too cowardly a method to prove your strength."
The Ice/Fire user narrowed his eyes as he moved closer to his best friend, "Naruto-sama was right, you are nothing more than an idiotic, muscle brained hyprocrite."
"Gin-senpai!" Moka called out with a relieved look.
"Haku," Naruto muttered in surprise before he turned his attention back to Chopper, who stared silently at Gin for a few seconds before he looked at the crowd surrounding them.
'Damn, I didn't expect both Ginei Morioka and Haku Kageyuki to show up. They are other people that I want to fight, but Naruto is first.' Chopper thought to himself before he spun around and started walking away, "Our match is canceled thanks to interference and the unnecessary audience. But I will be back for you Naruto Namikaze, you can be sure of that!"
The three members of the Newspaper Club watched as Chopper disappeared, and the crowd soon followed suit until it was only the three of them standing around the school store entrance and broken window. Gin let out a hum as he turned to look at his underclassmen, "So what's this I hear from Haku about you guys throwing a victory party? You didn't forget about me, did ya?"
"Of course not, we just didn't know where to find you Senpai." Moka said with a smile, only for it to turn uneasy when the Werewolf zoomed in close and smiled down at her.
"Moka, you are such an angel~!" Gin said with a flirtatious tone making the Vampire take a few steps back with an awkward laugh.
Moving between the two, Naruto had a deadpanned expression as he stared at Gin with crossed arms. "You really don't know when to quit, huh?"
"Never mind him, Naruto-sama. We should finish getting the snacks and drinks before the others think we've disappeared." Haku said while placing a hand on the Dhampir's shoulder, making the blonde nod his head.
"I guess you're right. Come on Moka-chan." Getting nods from both Haku and Moka, Naruto started walking inside of the store when Gin placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Hey, I didn't just get involved to stop the fight from escalating and preventing my darling Moka from getting hurt…" Gin's words made Naruto grumbled as he glared at the older teen, though it didn't seem to bother Gin as a smirk appeared on his face, "I also received some info from my network and learned something interesting that I think you guys will like." The Werewolf's words caused the three other S-Class Yokai to look at him with confused looks.

"So, wait… The Police Safety Committee is temporarily disbanded?!" Tsukune questioned as he stared at Gin, who was sipping on one of the coffee cans that Naruto, Moka and Haku brought back while looking at the magazine on the teacher's desk.
"Uh-huh, with Kuyō's defeat and expulsion from the Academy, a lot of the Committee's corruption was brought to light." Gin said as he lowered his mug and used his now free hand to turn the page of his magazine, "Thanks to that, the Headmaster shut down their operation and put them under investigation. It is up in the air though on whether the PSC will be reconstituted once the investigations are over or not, but it is almost guaranteed that it will not keep the remaining members when, or even if, that happens."
"Well I say good riddance!" Kurumu exclaimed as she leaned back in her seat and threw her arms into the air with a smile, "After all the crap they put us through, I'm happy to see those assholes get what they deserve!"
"I agree with Kurumu. It's nice to get back to our regular lives after all the fighting, especially now that Tsukune-san, Haku-san and Naruto-niisan are safe." Yukari said before taking a bite of the pocky stick in her hand, before turning her head to look at Naruto. "By the way, where are Kushina-sama and Minato-sama?"
"No clue, I haven't seen them since we parted ways earlier this morning… To be honest, I'm a little worried." Naruto had an uneasy look on his face as he placed his can of tomato juice on the table.
Tsukune flashed his friend a comforting smile as he patted him on the shoulder, "Oh come on Naruto, I'm sure your parents are doing just fine. They seem pretty strong to me."
"… That's exactly why I'm worried. My mom may be a Human, but she is without question, one of the strongest and most terrifying fighter I know." Naruto replied as he looked up at the group with his body trembling, a shadowy silhouette of his mother with her red hair waving through the air like tails. "If someone were to mess with her because she was Human or tried to take advantage of her, I doubt she would leave anything left of them!"
"S-Surely Minato-sama would be able to watch over her and prevent Kushina-san from doing anything dangerous to the students." Moka said as she and the others could imagine the same scary figure that was going through Naruto's mind. But her words only made the Dhampir shake his head as he looked down at the floor with sweat going down his face.
"Moka-chan, there has only been a few times when my dad has ever won an argument with my mother. I can actually count them on one hand," Naruto said while Haku started to copy his actions as the two trembled. "Trying to stop her from doing something she is determined to see through is almost impossible."
"I can see where you got it from." Gin said bluntly as he looked up from his magazine with a bored look.
Noticing the strange tension building up around Naruto and Haku, the only Human in the room decided to try and change the topic. "Hey, what was that ruckus before about this Pro Wrestler person?"
"Oh, that, it's really weird. Some meat-headed, power hungry idiot tried to pick a fight with me." Naruto explained as he leaned back in his seat with his hands resting behind his head, "Apparently, me defeating Kuyō made me one of the strongest Yokai students at the Academy and he wants to fight me because of that."
"Wow, that guy must have a death wish." Kurumu said before she watched Moka rise out of her chair and made her way towards the door, "Hey Moka, where are you going?"
"Just to the bathroom, I'll be right back." Moka answered as she flashed everyone a smile before sliding the door and walked out of the room.
"So… Do you know anything about the guy who was after Naruto, Gin-senpai?" Yukari asked as she turned her head to look at their upper-classmate.
"Chopper Rikiishi," Gin started as he looked up from his magazine, chuckling lightly at an article he was reading. "He's the kinda guy who attacks any other guy that he hears is stronger than him. It doesn't matter to him about who they are or what kind of Yokai species the person is, he'll keep coming after you until he gets his match. Ya never know when or where he's gonna strike next or even was method he'll use to do it."
"Sounds like a regular punk to me." Haku commented as he grabbed one of the soda cans and chilled it quickly with his powers. "He doesn't seem like someone who would be a major threat to Naruto-sama."
"…" Naruto said nothing as he quietly drank his juice.
"I wouldn't underestimate him, despite how he looks and acts, Rikiishi is a very strong fighter, not to mention obsessive. As I said before, he'll do anything he can to get his match with Naruto." Gin explained before shifting his gaze to Naruto, "Then again, with the power Naruto has, he should be able to beat him as easy as he did against all those guys in the past."
"That's true!" Yukari exclaimed as she remembered how easily Naruto defeated her Lizardmen classmates who had tried to kill her.
Tsukune had an uneasy look on his face as he waved his hands in front of him, "Come on guys. Not everything around here has too end in a fight."
"Unfortunately, not everything can be resolved peacefully Tsukune. When it comes to the life of a Yokai, things can only be resolved through violenc-"
The Succubus was cut off as Naruto interrupted with a shake of his head, "I'm not interested in fighting him."
"Huh?"
"Eh?"
"What did you say?"
"… Look, it's like I told Chopper… Right now, I'm not in the mood to fight anyone." Naruto's gaze shifted to his bracelet, which he raised up to get a better look at it, memories of his cruelty flashing through his mind. "After everything that happened lately, using my powers is the last thing on my mind."
"…?!" Haku's eyes widened as a thought flashed through his mind, "Naruto-sama… Do you feel guilty for what you did to Kuyō and those members of the PSC?"
"No, it's not tha-"
"NAMIKAZE!" Everyone perk their heads up at the shouting voice coming from the classroom entrance and saw it open to reveal a male student with a panicked expression on his face. "Thank god you're here. Listen, Chopper Rikiishi sent me to tell you he's challenging you to a one-on-one!"
"He actually sent a messenger in his place," Naruto muttered to himself before waving a hand in a dismissive motion. "Tell him that I'm not interested, no matter how many times he asks."
"But… But… He's got Akashiya!" His words got everyone's attention as they snapped their heads to look at him, silently signaling for him to continue. "He's taken her hostage and told me to tell you that if you don't go up to meet him, then he's going to snap her neck!"
"Why that dirty-!"
"He actually brought Moka-san into this?!"
"That bastard!"
"I won't forgive this!"
Shooting out of his seat, Naruto instantly appeared in front of the male student and grabbed his collar before bringing him close. "Where is he? Tell me!"
"T-The r-roof! He said to meet him on the roof!" The teen exclaimed fearfully making Naruto let go of him, causing him to fall on his ass… But before anyone could react, Naruto had already vanished from sight leaving the rest of the worried Newspaper Club behind.
(Academy Rooftop)
Kicking the doors open with a pissed off expression, Naruto walked out onto the roof before glancing around. Sensing two demonic auras behind him, Naruto turned his head to see a large figure which he figured to be Chopper. The muscular student had grown several sizes with bulging veins spread across his body with spikes coming out of his head and black horns on hisface. But Naruto's attention wasn't focused on Chopper's true form which was known as a Troll, no, he was focusing on the person being held in the Troll's hand.
"It's about time you showed up." Chopper said as he took a step closer to Naruto, raising his arm up to show that he had his thumb pressed against the side of Moka's head, "I got tired of your lack of fighting spirit and decided to use the girl as a means to get you to take me seriously."
"N-Naruto-kun…!" Moka winced as she felt the thumb pressed against her neck increase its pressure.
Clenching his fists, Naruto shifted focus onto Chopper. "She has nothing to do with this. Let her go now and I'll forget this happened. There is no reason for us to fight, so stop trying."
"No reason? Of course, there is a reason! When a Yokai doesn't fight, they grow old and die. As you can see, I've already revealed to you my true form." Chopper raised his other hand and sent it down to strike Naruto's head, only for the Vampire Hanyou to catch the fist with one hand, surprised Choppper as the Troll tried to press even harder on the blonde still form. Looking straight at the larger male, the Troll recoiled as he watched Naruto's eyes turn scarlet before the Dhampir pushed back and sent the Troll back a few feet. "Hahaha, now this is more like it! If this is what you can do while in your normal state, I can't wait to see what you can do in your true form!"
"… I get it… You idiots just don't know when to stop," Naruto stated calmly as he continued to walk closer to the transformed Troll, the Dhampir clenching his fist so tight that cracking sounds could be heard. "Fine then. If you and all the others refused to be reasoned with… I'll just have keep knocking you all down until you won't get back up."
"Big words for such a small coward!" Chopper replied as he tightened the grip he had on Moka, only for a painful sensation to shoot up his arm before he felt his body lift into the air. "Huh?"
"There is an enormous difference between being a coward and holding back…" Naruto stated as he flipped Chopper's bulky frame with one hand while holding Moka with the other. The arm that he used to hold Moka was severely bruised under Naruto's grip as the Dhampir continued his toss and slammed Chopper into the ground causing the ground underneath him to break up, but that didn't seem to affect the Troll that much as he rose up, revealing the blood going down his face and the scratches forming on his body. Raising one of his arms in a chopping motion, Chopper swung his arm down at the two, but Naruto was faster as he shifted Moka into a bridal hold and evaded the attack.
"Damn it! Stop running around!" Chopper shouted as he once again tried to slam his fist into Naruto and Moka, only for the former to continue dodging the Trolls' attacks. The Dhampir silently evaded another one of Chopper's attacks before taking a giant leap back onto the roof of the rooftops exit. "Why are you so fucking fast?! With all the training I do, I should be fast enough to catch you!"
Lowering Moka so she could stand on her own two feet, Naruto turned his attention back to look down at the angry Chopper. "It doesn't matter how much you train, it is common knowledge that Trolls are Yokai who specialize in brute strength. That means that you are giving up speed in exchange for power, making you a very easy target to dodge."
"Shut it, you son of a-"
"Are you okay Moka-chan?" Naruto asked the pinkette as he turned his head to look at her, taking notice to the small, light-colored bruise on her neck. It quickly healed in seconds, but the image remained in Naruto's mind as he watched Moka smile up at him.
"Yes, but I'm sorry that this happened." Moka apologized while averting her gaze, only for Naruto to place a hand under her chin and gently lifted it up.
Smiling down at the pinkette, Naruto moved his hand until it was pressed against Moka's now blushing cheek. "Don't worry. I'm just glad you are safe… Now then, I'm going to finish this." Removing his hand, Naruto spun around and leaped from the stairway rooftop, landing several feet away from Chopper. "Well, you wanted a match, right?"
"Heh, so you are finally going to take me seriously? Good! Now transform and let's begin!" Chopper shouted as he raised both of his arms into the air, ignoring the pain coming from his injured wrist.
"… No, that won't be needed." Naruto stated as he shifted his stance and raised his clenched fists until they were positioned diagonally from each other in front of his chest. "I will be fine fighting you like this."
"That's interesting…" Ura's voice called out making Moka blink before looking down at her glowing cross, "Naruto's stance, it is a lot different from his usual fighting style."
'It's different?' Moka thought to herself with a puzzled look, but her thoughts halted when she heard Chopper let out a growl.
"Not needed?! You dismiss me and insult me while I am being serious. I've had enough of your bullshit Naruto Namikaze!" Chopper roared as he ran at Naruto with his arms pulled back, "I won't let you breathe the same air as me any longer! DIE!"
Instead of dodging Chopper's attack like he had done before, Naruto pulled an arm back and channeled his energy into it and coating it in a light blue aura before slamming it into Chopper's incoming fist, bringing the larger to a sudden stop. The Troll was shocked that his attack was halted and gritted his teeth when he saw Naruto stare back at him with a blank expression. Letting out a roar as he raised his other arm into the air, the Troll's eyes widened as he saw the Dhampir bend out of the way of the attack before opening his fist into an open palm and slammed it into the exposed joint, causing a loud cracking sound to be heard. Pulling his hand back a little, Naruto clenched his fist once again and delivered three quick jabs to the dislocated arm before backflipping over it to dodge Chopper's other arm. Spinning on his toes, Naruto looked up at Chopper for a moment before delivering a high kick to the Troll's jaw, causing him to fly high into the air.
"Amazing, I didn't think Naruto's sealed form would be so powerful." Moka whispered in awe as she watched the blonde followed Chopper into the air, going even higher than the Troll before preforming a spin kick that sent him crashing back into the ground. "I thought his demonic energy was sealed away by his bracelet?"
"That is because he isn't channeling his demonic energy. Remember, Naruto is Half Human as well, which means that he also has Spirit Energy inside of him as well." Ura explained as she too watched Naruto in action, "This explains why his fighting style is different, this must be what he learned from his mother. And it is thanks to his training as a Vampire that Naruto can channel his energy the way he does."
'Damn it! I didn't think I underestimated him so much!' Chopper thought to himself as Naruto disabled his other arm before moving behind him, moving his hands around the Troll's waist as much as he could and gripped tightly onto his body, planting his feet firmly on the ground. "W-What are you…?!"
"YOU'RE A PRO WRESTLING CLUB MEMBER, RIGHT?" Naruto exclaimed before he started tilting his upper body back, taking Chopper along for the ride until he brutally slammed the Troll's head into the concrete as hard as he could, destroying the area around them and the room under them. "THEN HERE'S A GERMAN SUPLEX FOR YA, DATTEBAYO!"
Moka quickly brought an arm up as a large cloud covered most of the roof, blocking her sight from seeing what was going on. But thankfully it didn't remain for long and started to recede, allowing the Vampire girl to finally see the remains of the battlefield… and to her delight, Naruto was standing over an unconscious and injured Chopper. Quickly making her way off the stairway roof, Moka ran towards Naruto with a smile. "Naruto-kun."
"Huh? Moka-chan." Naruto turned his head to see the girl running towards him and leap at him, wrapping her arms around his neck. "Whoa! What's with the hugging?"
"I'm glad… I'm so glad you are alright." Moka replied as tears built up in her eyes, "I know you are strong, but even so, I…"
"Don't worry, I understand." Naruto said with a smile… only for the moment to be ruined as his stomach let out a loud grumble. "Hehehe, sorry."
Shaking her head lightly, Moka let out a giggle as she pulled away from Naruto. "Don't be, I know what that feels like. Why don't we head back to the others? I'm sure they're worried."
"Yeah, I did leave them behind to rush here… Um, Moka." Naruto called out causing the girl to turn towards him, only to see he was looking away with an embarrassed look. "You didn't… hear that last part of what I said to Chopper, did you?"
"Huh?" Moka blinked in confusion.
"Don't worry about it if you didn't." Naruto said as he walked passed the girl, who was now curious about what he was talking about. She didn't have time to think any longer about it as the door swung wide open just as Naruto was getting close to it and all of the members of the Newspaper Club came bursting out.
As the everyone conversed and were relieved that Moka was alright, no one noticed the gem in her rosary glowing lightly. 'Omote might've not heard you, but I certainly did… Hmph... dattebayo, huh?"
Just like the previous day, news traveled quickly on Naruto's victory over Chopper, as well as what he had said in front of the school store. This of course had raised numerous new rumors about Naruto, some of the upper classmen were saying that with his abilities and personality, he could be the Second Coming of the Siren… whatever that meant. Thankfully, many of the fearful stares that he had gotten had diminished greatly, though some were still there. But that was to be expected.
Currently attending P.E., Naruto, Moka, Tsukune, Haku and Kurumu were standing in a line as they waited for their new Physical Education teacher to arrive. Apparently, something had happened to the original Instructor and he was currently on injured leave for a while. Though nothing more was said about the subject, which was kind of strange to some of the students, especially Haku and Naruto. Speaking of the two, both Half-breed had worried looks on their faces as a strange shiver went up their spines.
"So, who do you think our new teacher is?" Tsukune asked Moka, who tilted her head while placing a finger on her chin.
"Hmm, I wonder."
"Well, whoever it is, I hope it's someone completely different from Kotsubo-sensei." Kurumu said with a shiver, something about the way he stared at the female students made her skin crawl.
As more ideal chatter echoed across the field, it was quickly replaced by the sound of a whistle being blown. Everyone turned their heads to where the sound originated with many of the male students, and some females, stared with blushes and lustful looks. Kurumu, Moka and Tsukune blinked in surprise while Naruto and Haku's bodies paled in a cartoonish manner. Standing in front of the group wearing a red tracksuit that had the sleeve rolled up to her elbows and her hair tied up into a high ponytail, was a smirking Kushina.
"Alright everyone! My name is Kushina Namikaze, and I'm going to be your new P.E teacher for the rest of the semester." Kushina explained with a smirk as she placed a hand on her hip, "And before any of you start to ask. Yes, I am related to Naruto Namikaze and yes, I am a Human. But just because I'm Human doesn't mean I will be taking any crap from anyone. Headmaster Mikogami knows what I am and has given me permission to handle this class any way I see fit." The redheaded Human's words silenced the class as they looked back and forth between the uneasy Naruto and still smirking Kushina, only for the older of the two to speak up. "So, if no one has anything to say… Let's start the class off with some warm ups, dattebane!"

I hope you all have enjoyed reading this chapter and learning more about Naruto and his past, I hope the explanation about the effects on how the Shinso blood within Naruto changes him. And for those wondering, yes, I did base the end of kid Naruto's assault after Obito's berserk rampage after Rin's death. As to how Naruto reacted when it comes to fighting, it is not that he is afraid of his power, it is more like he is worried that he would hurts his friends again if he loses control again. So anyway, Kushina is now an official Instructor at Yokai Academy, so we'll see how that affects everything… Not to mention, what Minato is doing himself.
