Ash's Pokemon Journey
Summary: This story is about how I think that ash's journey should have gone through, Kanto, Orange Islands, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh and Unova. Smart, a psychic and an Aura user. I do not own pokemon.
Note: I am not doing the Kalos Region. So fairy pokemon and Mega Evolutions don't exist.
Chapter 125
James meets Gardenia,
The pokemon trades
And Spiritomb
Ash's new Chimchar, which was once Paul's, did start living happily with Ash and the others. He found out that Ash was kind, caring and understanding to his pokemon; nothing at all like Paul who abused and pushed his own pokemon too hard. Chimchar ended up crying because he had a kind trainer, but he was happy because he had new friends. And he made lots of new friends with Ash's and Tomo's other pokemon at Prof Oak's lab, especially with Ash's Charizard and Tomo's Chimchar because of the bitter lives they had before meeting Ash and Tomo, so Chimchar was happy at last and knew he had a better future ahead of him.
Today the gang were visiting Emeragrove Town; it was a beautiful town in the countryside. To their surprise, Gardenia was visiting the town. Gardenia promoted pokemon battling so she was having pokemon battles all over the area. Right now some kids, who were fans of Gardenia, were talking to her.
Gardenia and the gang were not the only ones visiting Emeragrove Town, Team Rocket was there too. They were there to plan what to do now. They were dressed in normal clothes so no one would recognize them as Team Rocket. "So what are we doing today?" asked Meowth. Jessie and James thought for a moment. "I suggest that we take our time today with training," said James "after all we have gained new pokemon for ourselves, and they need to get stronger for us". "Very true especially the ones we received from headquarters yesterday" said Jessie. "What you got some pokemon from the boss?" said Meowth, in surprise. "Yeah apparently their old trainer, a fellow agent, didn't want them anymore and then the boss decided to give them to us" said Jessie. "Why would that guy not want them anymore?" asked Meowth. "Oh he's some snob who keeps on switching pokemon partners; he is never satisfied" said Jessie. Meowth snorted. "What pokemon are they anyway?" he asked. Jessie sent out a big grey and white cat, with long whiskers, a long swirly tail and purple topped ears. This pokemon was a Purugly, the evolved form of Glameow, and it was female. James sent out a big purple and cream coloured skunk pokemon. This pokemon was a Skuntank, the evolved form of Stunky, and it was male. "Wow nice pokemon," said Meowth "that guy really is a snob for not wanting these pokemon". So it was agreed that the rocket trio was going to train their new pokemon today.
James went into a big field away from town and he called out his Skuntank. "Okay Skuntank I want you to show me what moves you've got" said James. He called out his Weezing to battle Skuntank. Skuntank proved to be quite a strong battler; it knew scratch, focus energy, poison gas, screech, fury swipes, smoke screen, toxic, slash, flamethrower, night slash and the egg move crunch. "Wow you are very good Skuntank," said James, giving Skuntank a stroke on the head, "I can't believe that your old trainer didn't want to keep you; there is nothing wrong with you at all". Skuntank felt happy being with James. "Well then let's start on teaching you some new moves. Now let me think what will be the best moves for you?" He had a think. "I know, iron tail and poison jab". He called out Breloom and Cacnea; Breloom knew iron tail and Cacnea knew poison jab.
Before they did anything, they heard a scream. The scream had come from Gardenia and she ran over to Cacnea and Breloom. "Oh my gosh your Cacnea is so cute and your Breloom looks really strong" she said. She gave Cacnea a hug despite the spikes. James thought Gardenia was crazy. "Excuse me but who are you?" asked James. "Oh many pardons," said Gardenia, putting down Cacnea, "I'm Gardenia the gym leader of Eterna City and I really love grass type pokemon a lot". "Oh well I can understand that a bit because I like grass type pokemon myself" said James. "You a grass pokemon trainer yourself?" asked Gardenia. "Not exactly because I like having different types of pokemon you see" answered James.
While Gardenia was talking to James, the gang and the kids watched them speak. "Hey that man there is James from Team Rocket" Ash whispered to the others; he could tell it was James. "Really, what shall we do?" whispered Dawn. "We'll wait and see what happens," whispered Ash "we can't scare these kids here". So the gang just kept watch on what was going to happen. Just then Gardenia and James walked over. Gardenia explained that she and James will have a tag battle against Ash and Tomo. The gang was surprised to hear this, but Ash and Tomo agreed to battle; since James wasn't doing anything bad, there was nothing to get worried about.
James, Gardenia, Ash and Tomo took their places, while the kids and Dawn sat down on the grass to watch. Brock agreed to be the referee. James sent out Cacnea, Gardenia sent out Turtwig, Tomo sent out Bidoof and Ash sent out his male Aipom. Ash started off by telling Aipom to use swift, but Cacnea countered it with pin missile. Turtwig attacked next with leaf storm, but Bidoof used protect to protect both Aipom and himself. Then Aipom moved in by using double slap on Turtwig. "Cacnea use needle arm on that Aipom" said James. Cacnea hit Aipom good with its arms. "Bidoof use rollout on Cacnea" said Tomo. Bidoof rolled towards Cacnea, but Turtwig stopped Bidoof in its tracks with a strong razor leaf attack. "Cacnea use drain punch" said James. Cacnea punched Bidoof good and drained most of its energy. "Woah James and his pokemon have gotten strong but that won't beat me that easily" said Ash. He ordered Aipom to use aerial ace and Aipom tackled Cacnea hard with the flying type move. That didn't defeat Cacnea though and then it used leech seed. Gardenia's Turtwig used leech seed too and both Aipom and Bidoof were caught and zapped by the vines. "It looks to me that Ash and Tomo are going to lose this one" said Dawn, worriedly. Dawn was right because Cacnea used focus punch and Turtwig used tackle and Aipom and Bidoof were defeated by the moves. So James and Cacnea won the battle.
The kids cheered for Gardenia and James. James felt proud with himself with winning a pokemon battle and seriously it felt good to him. "I've got to hand it to you James you have trained your Cacnea very good" said Gardenia. "That's because I train my pokemon very good" replied James. Even the gang admitted that James did a very good job during the battle.
Unbeknown to everyone Jessie and Meowth had been watching the battle. "Wow, James actually beat the twerps," said Meowth, in surprise, "and we have never done that before". "That's only because he had a gym leader as a partner" said Jessie. Despite Jessie didn't want to admit it, she did think that James was excellent in that battle.
After the battle Gardenia talked with James for ages about his grass pokemon and James showed Gardenia his other grass type pokemon, which of course made her delighted. James also told Gardenia of how his grandparents taught him all about raising grass pokemon and things. Gardenia was impressed. "Hey James give me your email address," said Gardenia "that way I can keep in contact with you about grass pokemon". James wasn't so sure about this, but as Gardenia was so desperate he couldn't say no. (Jessie and James do have email addresses because it's how Giovanni contacts them as well as phone calls)
Hours later, James was able to leave with Jessie and Meowth. "Boy James I thought your talk with that gym leader would never end," said Meowth "I mean it's already the end of the afternoon". "I know but that lady has such a big mouth" sighed James. "I must say you did good in that battle especially since you defeated the twerps" said Meowth. "I have to say," said James "if I had been born a normal person, I mean not been born in a very wealthy family, I would have had gone on pokemon journeys as a kid and beaten many people in pokemon battles like that. And of course won many tournaments and things like that". "I get what you mean," said Jessie "if I had gone on a pokemon journey like other kids at the age of ten I probably would have won many things too. But the past is the past and all we can do is just continuing what we are doing now". So Team Rocket left Emeragrove Town for a different place.
As for the gang, they said goodbye to Gardenia and left Emeragrove Town too.
One day the gang was at a pokemon center. They were watching the news that Marian was broadcasting. She was showing a rebroadcast of Kenny winning a pokemon contest in a town called Sage Town a few days ago. She also said that Kenny now had two contest ribbons. Ash realized at once that it was like him now. Suddenly a surprised entered the room; Zoey had turned up. Dawn was surprised to see Zoey again and Zoey was happy to see the gang again. Hearing the broadcast about Kenny winning his second ribbon made Dawn feel a bit down because she still had only one ribbon and Ash and Kenny were already ahead of her. "Don't go feeling like you've lost yet Dawn," said Ash, who felt Dawn's feelings, "remember there are still lots of other pokemon contests you can enter in and soon you will catch up". "Thank you Ash" smiled Dawn. Just then Marian announced on the TV that the next pokemon contest was in a place called Solaceon Town. Zoey explained that the town was on the way to Veilstone City. So the gang's plan was to go to Solaceon Town and then Veilstone City. "Are you going to enter the Solaceon contest too Zoey?" asked Dawn. "No I want to work more on new combinations so I'm backing out on this one" answered Zoey. "Then will you train with me tomorrow please?" asked Dawn "I'd love to see your pokemon". Zoey agreed.
So the next day Zoey and Dawn decided to practice on having a contest battle. Ash and Tomo decide to practice with battling for the gym in Veilstone City. Brock decided to look over Ash and Tomo. Tomo released a blue and yellow and green Shellos and a Combee. "Wow you got new pokemon Tomo?" asked Zoey. "Yep I caught Shellos and Combee after we left the Hearthome tag battle tournament" answered Tomo. Ash had out his Chimchar and Riolu. Zoey was seeing newer pokemon already in one day. Zoey sent out her Glameow and Dawn sent out her Buizel. "Okay Buizel we will practice for your debut in the Solaceon contest" said Dawn. Buizel understood. Suddenly Ash's female Aipom popped out of her pokeball. "What are you out for?" Ash asked Aipom. Aipom said, in her language, that she wanted to watch Zoey and Dawn's contest battle. Ash explained the situation and asked Zoey and Dawn if it was okay for Aipom to watch. "Of course you are welcome to watch Aipom" said Dawn. Aipom was happy to hear that.
The practicing was soon underway. Dawn had Buizel use water gun but Glameow countered it with water gun. The water gun broke out into beautiful sparkles. "The water gun only made Glameow look good and not you Buizel" said Dawn, worriedly. All the while Tomo was having Combee and Shellos practice battling each other. Tomo found out on his pokedex that Shellos had the egg moves counter and mirror coat, to his joy, and had Shellos practice that while Combee threw attacks at Shellos. Ash had Chimchar and Riolu practice battle each other. While the practice battles were going on Buizel kept on staring at them instead of paying attention to what he was supposed to be doing now. Dawn got Buizel to pay attention and told him to use aqua jet. Buizel had the water surround him in a dome shape and then went into an attack. But Glameow used shadow claw to counter it. "That's not right either Buizel," said Dawn "you see the water thing did look pretty but it would be better that you twisted when it came to using the move. You saw how Glameow moved, so you'll have a much better impact when looking confident". Buizel wasn't exactly amused by this and then he turned towards Ash and his pokemon while Chimchar and Riolu battled it out. Zoey pointed out that Buizel was more interested in Ash's practice battle than the contest battle practice. Chimchar was using bullet seed on Riolu, but then Riolu glowed green ended up using bullet seed next. "Hey Ash I think Riolu just learnt a new move" said Brock. He was right because Riolu just learnt the move copycat. It was a move that made the user use the move the opponent just did. "Wow Riolu you grow up more and more by the day" smiled Ash. Riolu was happy whenever he made Ash proud. Back with Dawn and Zoey before Dawn could give Buizel another command, Aipom jumped in and made a contest move by using swift and jumping from star to star. Then she used bounce to jump high in the air and used attract to surround herself with pink hearts while spinning. "Wow Aipom you looked spectacular," said Dawn, who was very impressed, "I would like to use that in a contest. Hey Buizel knows swift too so I should have Aipom teach him a thing or two about this". Zoey was impressed by Aipom's move too.
Ash saw what had happened and heard what Dawn just said. He stopped the practicing. "Dawn I need to talk to you about something" he said. "What is it Ash?" asked Dawn. "Well Dawn," said Ash "you know every time we trained for battles and contests you have always seen my female Aipom watch you train for contests". "Now you come to mention it I have," said Dawn "and Aipom specially likes it whenever I've asked you to burrow her to help some of my pokemon for contest appeal practicing". "Exactly so I have been thinking for some time now that I should give my female Aipom to you" said Ash. Dawn was surprised to hear that. "I agree with you on that Ash," said Zoey "I mean I know you are a coordinator too, but you also do gym battles. And I can tell that Aipom is more for contests than battles". "You're right there Zoey," said Ash "I mean my male Aipom does like practicing for contests and pokemon battles. But my female Aipom prefers performing over anything else". "Yes," said Zoey "and Dawn I can clearly see that Buizel doesn't really like practicing for pokemon contests". "That does make sense really, don't forget Buizel has always been the battling type pokemon even way before you captured it Dawn" said Ash. Dawn could see Ash and Zoey were right. "So I think you two should trade Aipom and Buizel" said Zoey. Ash and Dawn started to feel that they should go through a pokemon trade between Aipom and Buizel.
In the pokemon center Nurse Joy was helping two pokemon trainers trade their pokemon in a pokemon trading machine. They were trading between a Munchlax and Rapidash. After the trading was complete another pokemon trainer came up. "Excuse me Nurse Joy," he said "but I need help. I want to do a mock trade with somebody". He explained that he had an Onix and a Poliwhirl that he wanted to evolve to a Steelix and a Politoed, but he wanted to trade them back after the trading.
It was at that moment that the gang came in and Tomo heard what the trainer said. "I'll have a mock trade with you," he said "I have an Electabuzz and Magmar that I want to evolve". He had Electabuzz and Magmar with him. "Really, thank you" said the trainer. "Oh Nurse Joy do you have an electirizer and magmarizer? I haven't got any of them" said Tomo. The gang had learnt about how to evolve Electabuzz, Magmar, Rhydon and Dusknoir through trading with the items electirizer, magmarizer, protector and reaper cloth from Lucas when they met up with him before. Luckily for Tomo, Nurse Joy did have those things. An electirizer was a yellow cube that nearly looked like a plug. The magmarizer was a red cube and it also looked like a plug. Tomo released his Electabuzz and Magmar, gave the items to them and then returned them again ready for the trade. The trainer's Onix and Poliwhirl were already holding a metal coat and king's rock. So the trading was ready.
First Tomo and the trainer placed their Electabuzz and Onix on the trading machine. When the trading was complete the two boys released the pokemon. Onix evolved into a Steelix and Electabuzz evolved into Electivire. After the two pokemon evolved, the two boys returned the pokemon and traded them back. Then the boys did the same thing with Magmar and Poliwhirl. After the pokemon evolved into Magmortar and Politoed the boys traded them back. The trainer thanked Tomo and then left.
It was then that Ash got an idea. Seeing this made him decide it was time for him to evolve his Rhydon into Rhyperior and evolve Tomo's Dusclops into Dusknoir. He told Tomo the idea and Tomo agreed because Dusclops and Rhydon were ready to evolve now. The brothers got Dusclops and Rhydon from Prof Oak's lab and then Ash asked Nurse Joy if she had any protectors and reaper cloths. Luckily for Ash she did; a protector was a brown arch shaped thing and the reaper cloth was a grey rag. The brothers released their pokemon, gave them the items and returned them again. Then they went on with the trading and released them. Rhydon evolved into a Rhyperior and Dusclops evolved into a Dusknoir. Dusknoir was a big cyclops, phantom like pokemon with a dark grey body with yellow markings on the tummy, a light grey head with one red eye, yellow markings around the arm and around the top of its head, a small antenna at the top of its head, two big light grey hands and a big tail at the bottom instead of feat.
Dawn looked at Dusknoir on the pokedex: Dusknoir, the gripper pokemon. The evolved form of Dusclops. This feared Pokémon is said to travel to worlds unknown. Some even believe that it takes lost spirits along with it.
The brothers traded back their pokemon at once, happy with their newly evolved pokemon.
After that Ash turned to Dawn and asked her if she was ready for their trading, but then Dawn told him to wait a bit. "Is this really okay with you Ash," she said "I mean Aipom has liked you ever since you captured her and as you know I have just finally got Buizel to listen to me". Ash explained the situation to Nurse Joy. "I understand, especially since you have worked so hard with Aipom and Buizel and have many wonderful memories with them," said Nurse Joy "a trainer's job is to bring out the best in a pokemon. But a trainer has to adjust to their pokemon instead of the pokemon adjusting to their trainer". Listening to Nurse Joy's advice gave Ash an idea. "Why don't I practice having a pokemon battle with Buizel and you practice having a contest battle with Aipom?" Ash said to Dawn "that way we will find out for sure if Buizel is perfect for me and Aipom is perfect for you Dawn". Dawn liked the idea and so did the others.
So Dawn decided to have a practice contest battle against Zoey and Ash decided to have a practice battle with Tomo. Tomo sent out his Shellos to battle Buizel and Zoey sent out her Glameow to battle Aipom.
But before anyone could battle a bullet seed attack stopped them in their tracks. It had come from James' Carnivine. Team Rocket had come to try and take the gang's pokemon again. Jessie had her Purugly and Seviper out and James had his Carnivine and Skuntank out. Ash and Dawn called this a good opportunity to try battling with Buizel and Aipom. Jessie started off by telling Purugly to use shadow claw on Buizel, but Buizel dodged it and used swift on Purugly. James came in next and told Carnivine to use bullet seed, but Aipom countered it with swift; she created one big star from the little stars and the big star acted as a shield, and when the bullet seed hit it, it broke back into the small stars again. Jessie had Purugly attack again with scratch, but Buizel used aqua jet and knocked out Purugly at once. James fought back by having Carnivine use bite. But Aipom had Carnivine under her spell with attract since Carnivine was male. Then Aipom knocked Carnivine out with fire punch. Jessie told Seviper to use haze to create a big smokescreen. But Aipom used double team and her and her copies used tail whip to blow the smoke away. Then together Buizel and Aipom sent Team Rocket away with water gun and swift.
With Team Rocket's defeat it was very clear now that Dawn's Buizel should be with Ash and Ash's Aipom should be with Dawn. And so Ash and Dawn traded their pokemon at once and Buizel became Ash's pokemon and Aipom became Dawn's pokemon.
One night Dawn and Ash were doing some training with Aipom and Buizel. Because of their recent trade, they wanted to get used to using them. Ash was checking on Buizel with his pokedex; apart from already knowing water gun, growl, aqua jet, sonic boom, swift and the egg moves slash and fury swipes, Buizel also knew hidden power and to everyone's surprise Buizel's hidden power move was an electric type. "Okay Dawn, let's make this a good practice battle" said Ash. "Lets" agreed Dawn. Dawn started by telling Aipom to use swift, but Buizel countered it with his swift attack. Ash ordered Buizel to use aqua jet, but Aipom used mimic and used aqua jet to counter Buizel's. "I'm so glad that you and your pokemon had Aipom learn so many wonderful moves Ash" said Dawn. "Yeah but it won't beat me yet" said Ash. He ordered Buizel to use sonic boom, but Aipom deflected it with focus punch.
Unfortunately Buizel's sonic boom attack was flung straight to a hallowed stone tower and crumbled it to bricks. "Oh no!" gasped Ash. He and the others ran towards the broken tower. Just then the crumpled bricks began to glow. "What's going on?" asked Tomo. Before Tomo's question could be answered, it suddenly got very cloudy and there was a chill in the air. "I'm feeling a strange aura here, and it feels evil" said Ash. Suddenly a thunderbolt from the sky struck the pile of bricks, and then a strange stone in the rubble started to glow purple and an eerie voice saying 'Spiritomb' was heard. "What's that?" asked Dawn. A purple and green phantom like pokemon appeared out of the stone, answering Dawn's question.
Dawn looked at the thing on the pokedex: Spiritomb, the forbidden pokemon. It was bound to a fissure in an Odd Keystone as punishment for misdeeds 500 years ago.
The Spiritomb started to attack the gang with shadow ball and hyper beam. Ash was cross and ordered Buizel to use water gun, but the water gun attack didn't do much. Then Spiritomb used dark pulse and knocked out Buizel at once. After that Spiritomb flew away. "What in the world was that about?" asked Dawn. "I don't know but that Spiritomb is one bad pokemon" said Ash. The others agreed.
The next group of people to meet Spiritomb was Team Rocket. They were spending the night round a camp fire and having a meal of biscuits and rice balls. "It sure is cloudy tonight," said Meowth "I hope that it doesn't rain". Then Spiritomb showed up and attacked Team Rocket with hyper beam and dark pulse and then flew away again. "What was that?" asked Jessie, who was cross. James had a look at his pokemon book and explained it was Spiritomb. "It says here that Spiritomb is a very bad pokemon and it loves causing destruction and mayhem where ever it goes. And it also says it was sealed away 500 years ago for its evilness". "Do you think the boss would like this kind of pokemon?" asked Meowth. "Absolutely," said Jessie "that kind of power is just the booth Team Rocket needs". So Team Rocket's next plan was to catch Spiritomb.
The next day the gang was walking again. "I can't get that Spiritomb out of my head" said Ash. "Yeah, especially since it was so aggressive" said Dawn. Suddenly they came to a village and it looked like it had been attacked because some houses were broken and a lot of pokemon who lived in the village with the villagers were knocked out. "What happened?" Ash asked a boy, with a Raticate. The boy explained that a creepy pokemon came and attacked the village out of nowhere. The gang believed that Spiritomb must have done this. Suddenly an old woman started shouting that it was a Spiritomb that had caused the destruction. "Excuse me madam, but do you know about Spiritomb?" asked Ash. "That I do young man" answered the old woman.
The old woman explained that 500 years ago Spiritomb caused destruction in the area by destroying homes, fields and trees and made the people's lives a misery. But one day an aura guardian with a Pikachu for a partner came and fought Spiritomb. Spiritomb ended up defeated by the Pikachu and after it was defeated the aura guardian sealed Spiritomb's key stone in a hallowed tower made out of stone so it would never cause trouble again. Hearing the story made the gang remember the stone hallowed tower they destroyed last night and figured that was its prisonment.
The gang led the old woman to the broken stone tower and the woman was shocked when she saw it. "I take it you kids had something to do with this?" asked the woman, angrily. The gang explained about their pokemon training and how their pokemon's attacks hit the tower by mistake. The woman sighed. "The Spiritomb was sealed by an aura guardian with a Pikachu," she said "and now it has been unsealed by some reckless kids who have a Pikachu with them. The ways of fate can be so strange sometimes". "Since this is our fault Spiritomb is released we must defeat it and seal it again" said Ash. "But how Ash?" said Dawn "you've seen how strong that Spiritomb is". Ash looked up Spiritomb on his pokedex again and looked for weaknesses. "It says that Spiritomb is both a ghost and dark type pokemon and doesn't really have a weakness," he said "but it does say that if we use a pokemon with foresight, Spiritomb will be weak against fighting type moves". "That's good to hear," said the old woman "do any of your pokemon know foresight?" "Yes my Riolu does and he is a fighting type pokemon" said Ash. He quickly used his pokedex to get his Riolu from Prof Oak's lab.
Suddenly they heard a scream from the village; Spiritomb was back. Ash was just about to release his Riolu, but then a solar beam hit Spiritomb; it didn't do much damage of course. The attack had come from James' Roserade; Team Rocket had all their pokemon out to battle Spiritomb so they could catch it. Unfortunately for Team Rocket, not think the strength of all of their pokemon was no match for Spiritomb. Spiritomb easily defeated their pokemon with dark pulse, shadow ball, hyper beam and giga impact. After returning the pokemon Team Rocket tried to run away, but Spiritomb sent them flying with hyper beam.
Now that Team Rocket was gone Ash called this his turn to fight next and released Riolu. "Riolu use foresight" said Ash. Riolu released two blue beams from his eyes, which covered Spiritomb, and now he could hit Spiritomb with fighting and normal type moves. "Now aura sphere Riolu". Riolu threw an aura sphere attack and it hit Spiritomb. "My turn now" said Ash. He released an aura sphere too and it hit Spiritomb also. The old woman was surprised when he did that. "Is your friend an aura guardian?" she asked Brock. "No, Ash is not an aura guardian, but he is an aura user" answered Brock.
Ash and Riolu led Spiritomb away from the village and into the area near where the crumbled hallowed tower was. "Okay Riolu time to use aura sphere again" he said. He and Riolu attacked Spiritomb with aura sphere together. Spiritomb was getting angry by the second. Seeing Ash use aura made Spiritomb know Ash was an aura user. Truth was Spiritomb wanted to get revenge on the aura guardian who sealed him away 500 years ago; that of course wasn't possible because he was dead. Seeing Ash use aura made Spiritomb believe that Ash was a descendant of the aura guardian; that of course wasn't true, but Spiritomb believed it. It was then Spiritomb started to use giga impact. "Quick our aura shields Riolu!" shouted Ash. He and Riolu created an aura shield together to protect themselves from the attack. Ash and Riolu were getting tired, but Spiritomb wasn't backing down yet and it got ready to attack again. "We can do this Riolu" said Ash. 'Yes we can papa' said Riolu.
Suddenly Riolu glowed and evolved into a Lucario.
Dawn looked at Lucario on her pokedex; Lucario, the aura pokemon. The evolved form of Riolu. By catching the Aura emanating from others, it can read their thoughts and movements.
"Okay Lucario use foresight again and we'll both use aura again, and Pikachu you use thunderbolt" said Ash. 'Yes father' said Lucario; even when evolved Lucario still sees Ash as his parent. Lucario used foresight again and then he and Ash used aura sphere while Pikachu used thunderbolt. Spiritomb was really hurt by now from the three attacks and then its body went into the keystone; it had been defeated.
Ash hugged Pikachu and Lucario for a job well done. They were exhausted by all that, but happy that they had defeated Spiritomb at last. "Quickly now," said the old woman "we must seal away the keystone in the hallowed tower". Brock picked up the keystone and carried it to the stone tower; it was heavy, but Brock moved as quickly as he could. Together the gang built the hallowed stone tower back to what it was before with the keystone inside. Then the tower glowed; that meant that Spiritomb was sealed away again, never to cause trouble again. "I think we should put notices here to warn everyone about Spiritomb sealed away in this tower" said Ash. "I call that a great idea," said Brock "especially since we don't want this to happen ever again". "The old woman promised that she would put warnings here. "Now a new legend is born," she said "the revived Spiritomb was sealed away again thanks to an aura user and his loyal Lucario and Pikachu". The gang chuckled after hearing that, even Pikachu, Growlithe and Lucario couldn't stop giggling. By now it was night time and the old woman invited the gang to stay at her place and have dinner there tonight. The gang accepted at once because of the excitement that happened today.
So with the trouble with Spiritomb over, the gang could get a good night's sleep tonight.

I'll explain that when I get to the chapter arc about the trio leaving Team Rocket. Another thing before anyone asks; yes Ash will use Rhyperior sometime; I decided to use him in the gym battle against Volkner. I decided the Spiritomb chapter what the perfect time for Riolu to evolve. Ash's Lucario will battle Maylene's Lucario. I know fairy type moves are Spiritomb's weakness, but remember I don't involve fairy types in this story.
