Chapter 6: Hot Spot clearing part 1

(OPENING: Leader – Warrior Inside)

OUTSIDE - URAHARA SHOP – KARAKURA TOWN - MIDDAY

(bleach ost: creeping shadows)

As Ashido run outside, he saw the first hollows today, which looked like some swarm of birds, flying in the air.

Ashido immediately jumped up, using Shunpo, killing his first target on the first slash.

Fujimaru, Matsuri, and Shinji joined him too via Shunpo as well, each killing one hollow.

The four people were staying in the air, facing the swarm of hollows.

But then out of nowhere, the flying hollows weren't targeting them but instead flying down. And this meant only one thing.

„SHIYO !" Shinji shouted while looking towards the hollows' new target.

Shiyo, who saw that she's been attacked by a bunch of hollows, prepared her Kido spell

„Hado 11: Tsuzuri Raiden " she shouted before her whole body became electrified.

Shiyo then used shunpo on her own, each time hitting one of those hollows on the back of their heads.

After she did that with all hollows, Shiyo joined her friends, staying beside them.

Then, all the hollows whom Shiyo touched, were electrified, then resulting in all of them being killed immediately.

Then, at last, Urahara, Tessai, and the two children joined as well. What's more, while Jinta is carrying some kind of small ball, Ururu on the other hand is carrying right now a pendant and some kind of a rolled carpet? The three youngsters weren't sure how they want to fight with these weapons against the hollows effectively.

„didn't know that you're that of a Kido-expert, Shiyo" Shinji commented rather surprised.

„well, I had a good master to teach me." Shiyo said while looking towards Tessai, who started to cry while being praised.

„I'm also proud of you Shiyo, I'm sure that you'll surpass me one day, " he said while slightly crying in happiness.

„now, now Tessai! I know how it is to be proud of your pupils, but let's focus on our issue here, ok? " Urahara suggested

„yes, boss, " Tessai said while stopping crying.

But something seemed odd as Ashido noticed with both, his Shinigami's 'Reiryoku' and his own Hollow's 'Pesquisa' powers.

All the hollows in their range are acting rather calm, not targeting for any Plus available since there was none, which is more strange than unusual.

After all, Instinct driven beings like Hollows usually don't remain at one spot that long if there isn't any Soul available to be consumed.

„ How can there be so many out of nowhere? " Matsuri wondered what they meant by that, only to remember what Seireitou said to them before they left Heisekai.

'there's been a new Army of Arrancar on the rise for about a half century' were Seireitou's words as Fujimaru and Matsuri remembered. Does that mean that this situation might be one of their works?

„you think that another one of those big black hollows might appear, like last time? " Jinta asked curiously if another Menos Grande might appear.

„right now … " Urahara said while looking at his cellphone „ my radar shows 8 hotspots: 6 in Karakura and each one in Kagamino City and Naruki City, where the hollows are gathering, so my suggestion: after you've received each the coordinates, let's split up, each a two-man team, one person with a cellphone and another without one ."

„I'll go with Tessai-sensei" Shiyo proclaimed.

„Then I'll go with Ashido, if no one minds, " Matsuri said, to which no one protested, to which Matsuri felt somehow happy.

„Then I'll choose Shinji I guess, " Fujimaru said.

„which means that we'll be the only 3-man-party, excellent, and because of that, we'll aim for the furthermost hollow-hotspot, URURU … " Urahara proclaimed while holding his stick.

„yes … " Ururu said while throwing out the carpet, which then suddenly started flying. Urahara, Jinta and Ururu then jumped on it.

„WOWWWW, is that a flying carpet? " Shiyo asked cheerfully before being hit slightly by Matsuri on her head.

„We have no time for that, Shiyo." Matsuri said while holding her back.

Shiyo then pouted towards Matsuri, „can't I just be excited for one moment. " she said, which made Matsuri breathe out in annoyance for her dear friend.

„Anyway, we still have only four teams, what about the remaining 4 hotspots?" Fujimaru asked rather concerned.

„don't worry about that" Urahara spoke to Fujimaru, „I know of certain people who will take care of the remaining Hotspots." Urahara added.

„if that's the case, then LET'S GO ! " Shinji shouted, while each team went for one of the hot-spots.

MEANWHILE – KARAKURA HOSPITAL – KARAKURA TOWN

„there are plenty of them." Naibu commented while feeling how myriads of Hollows appeard.

„seems other idiots are making a challenge as well, what a shame." Ryuken remarked rather disappointedly while commenting on the situation as well.

„at least it's not your son for sure if what you've been told about his departure is truth." Naibu clarified.

„I wish I could help you, Shizuka-san, but I'm afraid I'm busy right now." Ryuken explained to his old friend.

„don't mind me, I won't let them reach this hospital, what's more, my disciple should've already arrived. And with the others, we'll clear this mess in no time." Naibu explained with a slight grin on his face, „See you again, my friend."These were his last words before Naibu departed, heading for one of the spots.

FIRST HOLLOW-HOTSPOT – KARAKURA COMMUNITY PARK – KARAKURA TOWN

After crossing the Karasu River, Naibu reached one of the centers of Hollow activity, as he described it, which turns out to be the town's community Park.

Naibu then put his left hand inside one of his pockets before stretched it out, revealing a pendant with a yellow ring with spikes along its outer edge and an 'X'-symbol in its center.

Then, amounts of Reishi started collecting around Naibu's pendant, turning it into a Quincy's Heilig Bogen.

Still stretching his left hand, many spirit bows were shot from his 'Heilig Bogen', aiming for several hollows on the park, successfully killing several of them, each with one bow hit.

Naibu then noticed one of the hollows, which looked like an ape, running towards him from behind.

The ape hollow is about to hit Naibu, until another Heilig Pfeil pierces its head from behind, making the hollow disappear.

As Naibu saw how the hollow is being purified, he could see a familiar face behind it.

„seems I've caught a good timing with my 'Setsudan Kojaku', didn't I, Shizuka-Sensei ?" a male voice said towards Naibu.

„you would if you had used 'Klavier' for the remaining hollows. And what's more, you're late. Don't tell me that 'Grat' has softened your skills, Fujimaru." Naibu advised the person, whom he recognized as his previous pupil.

A young man with dark purple hair, blue eyes, European fashioned black clothes, and a 'Heilig Bogen' now appeared in front of Naibu.

„But it's never too late, isn't it, Sensei, " The young man named Fujimaru said before aiming with his own 'Heilig Bogen'.

He then shot multiple spirit arrows one after another, as Naibu did a moment ago, killing the remaining hollows.

Fujimaru then looked towards his master, „ you also mentioned a namesake of mine, didn't you, sensei. "

„ you're right, but before that … " Naibu said before he went for a nearby bush.

„They're gone, you can come out. " Naibu stated loudly while looking towards a nearby bush along with Fujimaru. After there was no reaction, Naibu, and his pupil then went closer to said bush.

Then, both of them saw how a young teen with short light blonde hair with short bangs hanging over the right side of her forehead. She also wears a red hair clip on the left side of her head. Naibu and Fujimaru saw her lying in the bush along with a broken grocery bag, some of them presumably bought products laying on the nearby ground, one of them being an orange-colored lion-plushy with a princess' dress, which had some kind of flower sticker attached on its head.

Naibu, seeing that the girl was in a slight shock, didn't even need to use Reiraku to see that the hiding girl is spiritually aware.

When she looked around, she saw the two men. An older man with black hair and cyan-colored, traditional-looking clothes, making him look like a Zen-monk of some sort. Then another one, a rather young-looking one, had black-colored western-like clothes. the girl thought him to be rather attractive.

Fujimaru then started collecting the nearby laying products. When he, at last, lifted the lion-plushy with the dress, he felt something odd about it. At first, he didn't realize it, but while staring at the lion-plushy, he could feel something about it, what's more, he could now see a drop of water on its left cheek, which he was sure wasn't there a second before.

Even though This made Fujimaru even more curious, he remembered that it belongs to the girl and that it needs to be returned.

„ we mean no harm, missy, let me help you. " Naibu said while stretching his own right hand towards the young girl.

At first, the young girl hesitated, but remembering that those two men presumably finished these strange evil monsters, she realized that they can be given a chance, stretching her left hand as well.

But as soon as Naibu lifted the girl, Naibu felt a strange feeling coming from that young girl, making him look down towards their both hands holding together.

„Something wrong, Mister ? " the light brown-haired girl asked, seeing the monk's suddenly concerned expression.

Naibu then moved her hand, looking around before looking towards the girl's eyes.

„before you were hiding, did one of them hurt you in some way? "

„well … not exactly … "

Naibu and Fujimaru blinked with their eyes in confusion.

„ „ not exactly? " " both repeated in confusion.

The girl then explained that after her shopping in a grocery store near her home, she has been abducted by one of those beings when she went through a back street as a shortcut.

Not only she was flying, but her mouth has been kept shut and she lost some of her bought products. She then saw that she has been flying towards the Karakura Community Park.

After the being has left her down she immediately runs away, she tried to run away out of the park.

But after realizing that not only these beings were blocking her escape routes, she realized something even more strange: the monsters didn't seem to bother her anymore at all.

With her fear even more increasing, she has hidden herself behind in the bush, hoping that those being wouldn't find her.

And sometime later Naibu and Fujimaru themselves appeared, killing those monsters.

Then there was a small silence among the three people until Naibu spoke again.

„it's not your first time you've encountered them, isn't it? " Naibu questioned her, to which the girl nodded.

„compare to my sister and my older brother, I can only see blurry images of them." the girl explained while looking down the ground.

„ your sister and older brother ? " Naibu asked curiously, somehow already knowing whom the girl is talking about. He wanted to ask more, but seeing how shocked the girl still is, he remained silent about that.

Meanwhile, Fujimaru came closer to them both.

„Here, your groceries, missy. " Fujimaru said while giving her her grocery bag and the princess lion-plushy.

„oh thank you, sir." the young teen said rather happily.

When Fujimaru's hand palm has been touched by the girl while he gave back the lion-plushy, he suddenly had some odd feeling out of nowhere.

At first, he wanted to ask the girl but immediately dismissed the feeling, realizing that he can think later about that.

„Anyway, you said that you need to go home, how about we both accompany you until then? " Naibu asked the young teen girl.

„eeehhhhh, w-well thank you for that offer but … my father told me not to speak with strangers. " then the young girl said while stuttered. Not that she was thankful for that offer, but being accompanied by a Zen-Monk and a hot guy with western fashion clothes makes you being conspicuous, something she really didn't need right now, since she's supposed to go home.

Naibu, who saw that she's staring at his attire, immediately realized her concern.

„oh, it seems there's a small misunderstanding here " Fujimaru explained while smiling, „by 'accompany you' we meant that we would like you to watch over you from the distance so that no hollow shall attack you. "

„ 'hollow'? " Yuzu wondered what that is.

„ that's how those evil beings are called. " Fujimaru clarified.

„oh, well in that case I wouldn't mind." Yuzu finally agreed.

the three then went for the exit of the park.

„oh before I forget, my name is Fujimaru Namikaze, and this is my Partner and previous master, Shizuka Naibu-sensei. What's your name, missy? "

„m-my name is Yuzu, Yuzu Kurosaki."

With that, Naibu's assumption turned out to be true: this girl is one of Ichigo Kurosaki's younger sisters. This explains why she's spiritually aware.

„ you said that your last name is Kurosaki, right ?" Naibu asked curiously, „ am I right to assume that you and your Family are the operators of the 'Kurosaki Clinic' " Naibu asked.

„yes, you know about our Clinic? " Yuzu asked Curiously, wondering how a monk knows about their rather small clinic.

„ the Karakura General Hospital's Operator, Ishida Ryuken-dono is a good friend of mine, and when I met him, he praised your Clinic for its reliability" Naibu explained.

Right now, Yuzu Beamed in proudness for that comment, which made her somehow being more comfortable around Naibu and Fujimaru.

With breaking the ice, Naibu could ask her further.

Naibu asked Yuzu now about her Family, her brother, and sister in particular, and if they've talked about the hollows.

Yuzu confirmed that while her siblings most likely know about them, she never asked them about that since she doesn't want them to be a burden to them with more issues than they already have.

Furthermore, Yuzu even explained that she now remembers the last time one of those hollows attacked their Clinic.

At first, when she woke up in the aftermath, it seemed that it was only a nightmare for her since no one from her family seemed to remember.

But then, as time went by, the memories of that attack came back slowly but steady before she remembered it clearly again.

It was only recently that she realized that her older brother and sister pretend to not know what has happened because they don't want to burden her with that as well, which is the reason Yuzu decided to play along, also pretending not to know what happened.

10 MINUTES LATER

Before Yuzu could go home, she realized that during her capture by the hollow, she has lost a few groceries, which means she needs to average them up.

Fujimaru offered to pay for the further purchase.

At first, Yuzu obviously declined, saying that she doesn't want to be in debt, but Fujimaru insisted that he and his Sensei are in her debt because they both didn't save her earlier.

After Fujimaru and Yuzu went both together buying inside a nearby grocery store, Fujimaru paid and took the bill of their purchase.

They met Naibu outside in a back alley.

„Could you buy everything that's needed? " Naibu asked them both.

„Yeah, luckily it wasn't expensive." Fujimaru explained to his partner.

While Fujumaru used the ballpoint to write something on the groceries bill, Naibu then looked again towards Yuzu.

„I'm sure your Family wonders where you've been that long, do you know what you'll tell them? "

„y-yeah, don't worry about that." Yuzu nervously answered. The truth is that her father was away somewhere himself while Karin was on her soccer's club training with her friends in her school. Even though she didn't saw any reason to not trust Fujimaru and Naibu, she still played it safe.

„Alright." Naibu said while slightly smiling.

„Before you leave, take this" Fujimaru spoke to Yuzu while giving her the bill he received for the groceries.

At first, Yuzu didn't understand what's that about, but then she turned in the bill.

On the bill's other side, she saw a phone number, along with the word in Latin letters 'Solkors'.

„'Sorukorusu' ?" Yuzu pronounced those words.

„you can read it? Good … " Fujimaru said, „if you ever need help about those hollows or anything related to that, call us." Fujimaru explained.

After Yuzu took the Bill with both her hands, she bowed in front of the two men before leaving for home.

Naibu and Fujimaru protected her from afar from possible hollow threads until Yuzu reached her home.

After Yuzu reached home safe, Naibu and Fujimaru started heading for shop Urahara. On the way, Naibu decided to explain the whole situation to his previous pupil.

„Before I explain the situation, you need to promise me that you'll behave, am I clear, Fujimaru ? "

This made Fujimaru even more curious, why does his previous master believe that he won't behave?

SECOND HOLLOW-HOTSPOT – REMAINS OF THE SUKARI BUILDING– KARAKURA TOWN

Before Shiyo and Tessai arrived at another Hotspot of current Hollow activity, which turned out to be an abandoned Building, Tessai saw on his pager that the hollows in Naruki City have been dealt rather fast.

'No wonder, considering how strong they actually are.' Tessai thought while remembering how he once met these men.

He immediately dismissed those thoughts when he saw the hollows in front of him.

„I hope you didn't unlearn my other teachings, Shiyo-dono, " Tessai said towards his previous discipline if she remembered the other stuff besides Kido.

„I didn't, Tessai-sensei." Shiyo answered with a rather upset voice, wondering why her sensei would think that.

Both saw how a trio of lizards like Hollows run towards them.

The master and his discipline lifted their right hands, stretching their palms as well.

As the hollows came, Shiyo and Tessai each hit one hollow's head with their stretched palms, shattering their heads, killing them successfully.

„I'm glad that your 'Tessho' has improved, Shiyo-dono." Tessai said.

„Really, you agree ?" Shiyo cheerfully asked her master.

„let's focus first on the others" Tessai suggested before both went for the remaining hollows around the abandoned building.

While Shiyo and Tessai continued fighting, a silhouette in a black cloak from a nearby spot is watching them unnoticed.

After Tessai looked in its direction, the silhouette was gone. While Shiyo looked towards her Sensei,

„Tessai-sensei? … " Shiyo wondered what he might have sensed or seen, but Tessai remained silent, hoped if it was just an imagination.

THIRD HOLLOW-HOTSPOT – YUMISAWA CHILDREN'S PARK – KARAKURA TOWN

Urahara, Ururu, and Jinta arrived at the children's park with less effort, thanks to Urahara's flying carpet.

When they jumped off the flying carpet, Urahara has realized that this Hotspot here is by far the largest of them. But luckily, all the Frog-like looking hollows didn't seem strong on their own, which means that Urahara can leave those to Ururu and Jinta.

„Alright" Kisuke started, „Jinta, you take on the left side, Ururu you the right side. And as always, please avoid destroying any play equipment or the like." he ordered his two children.

„ „ understood ! " " both nodded before going into action.

Jinta then held his small ball. The ball then started glowing green before it drastically changed its shape into a large 'Kanabo'-iron club. He then started attacking the Frog-looking hollows, killing them without too much effort.

Ururu also held her pendant before it also started glowing green, turning her pendant into a large cannon. With that, Ururu shot at several hollows, also successfully killing several of them.

While the two children continued killing the hollows, Urahara looked around, trying to find the source of the Hollow activity, possibly an 'Alpha-Hollow' or the like, as he hoped.

But he couldn't feel anything in particular, which is even more strange.

'is it concealing its presence, it that's the case then … ' Urahara thought before a horde of Hollows was aiming for Urahara from behind, but his cane, which immediately turned into a Katana-blade. Urahara made just one swing behind himself and the horde immediately died.

Urahara then suddenly heard a rather loud finger's snap from nearby, which made him turned around.

When he saw the possible source of the snap, he runs towards it, but then more hollows, now larger and stronger examples, appeared from the sky.

As if that wasn't enough, Urahara saw with a serious expression how a large Garganta opened in the sky, containing more hollows than which are already here, what's more, those hollows then jumped out of the Garganta, many coming towards him, while most of the new hollows, who were winged, remained in the sky.

Urahara's expression, however, turned into a smile when he heard someone calling:

„Hado 63#: Raikoho" he heard someone calling out a Kido spell, which killed all of the upcoming hollow hordes.

Jinta, who just finished killing his last hollow target, then joined again with Ururu.

The thought that both of them had finished all hollows around immediately disappeared when they saw another horde coming from the sky for them both.

Jinta and Ururu had both expressions of fear seeing the hollows coming at an intense speed.

But then both heard many slashes, which killed the coming hollows immediately.

„if I remember correctly … " Jinta and Ururu heard an annoying young girl speaking, „ … that idiot Kisuke said that his two children should be capable of dealing with strong Shinigami, but what do I see now ? You can't even deal with those weak hollows." the female voice asked accusingly, which provoked Jinta, who immediately recognized that annoying voice.

„At least we're not yelling like monkeys, Hiyori 'SARU'gaki" Jinta proclaimed calling the girl's name, while emphasizing the two syllables 'SARU' which means 'monkey' in Japanese.

In front of them stood said girl named Hiyori Sarugaki, a rather short girl with blond hair, brown eyes with a white shirt, and a red jogging suit. Beside her stood Lisa Yadomaru, an older-looking girl with glasses, her clothes of choice a 'sailor fuku'. Both of them Visoreds, like Shinji and Ashido. They also carring each a Katana.

„What did you just said to me, ginger brat?" Hiyori asked in an angry mood while coming towards Jinta, who held his Kanabo ready while Hiyori did the same with her Katana.

„Hiyori, Jinta, not yet … " Lisa called then to stop their small argument.

„but Lisa, this stupid brat … " Hiyori complained.

„I know, but as you can feel, there are still plenty of hollows around, which need to be dealt with, what's more, I can only feel three more strong but unknown Reiatsus around. The others belong to Shinji, Ashido, Naibu … " Lisa explained, „ and even 'Fuji' is beside Naibu."

Hiyori, who realized that Lisa seemed right, then stopped her confrontation with Jinta.

„Hmm... never around when actually needed. Do they really think that we'll always do the dirty jobs? If there's one thing I hate more than stupid ginger brats, then it's clearly those Shinigami-bastards." Hiyori commented angrily because, in such a situation, much more than just two exiled shinigami should be sent for reinforcement.

„This time I have to agree" Jinta commented, which somehow surprised Hiyori.

Ururu, still holding her cannon, meanwhile came towards Lisa.

„thank you" Ururu thanked her while bowning in front of her.

„let's join with Hachi and Kisuke, then well talk further." Lisa suggested to which everyone agreed.

After coming towards the spot where Urahara is, Jinta and Ururu saw beside him a very large and rotund man with an olive-green tuxedo with a yellow bow tie. The tall man had a pink mustache and pink hair with a black cross-bone on its center. Both realized it to be Hachigen Ushoda, also a fellow Visored.

„oh, it's been a while, Lisa and … " Urahara wanted to greet them until he felt a foot hitting his face, making him fall on the ground

„ ' it's been a while ' MY ASS" Hiyori shouted angrily towards him „ now tell me Kisuke, do you have something to do with these hollow swarms coming again here like two weeks ago? And why are not more Shinigami around to deal with them anyway? And did you met that idiot Shinji already ?" Hiyori asked in annoyance.

„whoa whoa, lot of questions, Hiyori." Urahara answered while he stood up.

„I promise you to answer them later, but first … " Urahara said before lifting his Zanpakuto.

Urahara then used Shunpo, teleporting behind a tree, where a humanoid-looking silhouette is hiding behind.

But the silhouette then teleported itself again, away from Urahara.

The mysterious figure then appeared in front of the others while Urahara used Shunpo again to teleport back.

This time Lisa, Hiyori, Jinta, Ururu, and Hachi prepared their weapons against the new enemy.

„is that bastard responsible for those bunch of hollows? " Hiyori asked loudly.

In front of them stood a figure with a black cloak, which Urahara immediately realized it to be very similar to his own, hiding his face.

What's more, this mysterious person appears to use a cane, like Urahara himself when he isn't fighting.

„it's true that those black cloaks can hide someone's own reiatsu completely, but it can't hide someone's unusual movements which leave traces on the nearby environment, especially if that person's Reiatsu is abnormal high. " Urahara spoke to the unknown person.

Urahara saw that person's mouth, which seemed to grin at him.

„foreseeing and fast, as same as you stuck in my memories, " the figure said, which sounded like an old man, to which Urahara became very attentive.

Then, the mysterious man with the cane suddenly jumped high in the sky, landing on one of the nearby flying hollows, flying away towards the south.

„I'll get him." Hiyori proclaimed before she was about to sky-walk until Urahara stopped her.

„Let's first join with the others, and you also wanted answers, or am I wrong ? " Urahara explained to calm down Hiyori, to which he succeeded.
