Chapter 11: old friend new enemy part 2
(OPENING: Leader – Warrior Inside)
ABANDONED MATSUKURA HOSPITAL ROOFTOP – KARAKURA TOWN – EARLY AFTERNOON – ASHIDO'S TEAM VS SEIGEN
Ashido, along with Shinji, Kensei, Love, and Rose now stood against Seigen, who still looked unimpressed, despite facing 5 opponents, each known to be as strong as a Shinigami's Captain, not to mention Ashido, who's considered to be the third strongest of all Visoreds.
„Everyone ... " Ashido spoke to his comrades while putting his hand in front of his face, „MASK ON ! " he loudly ordered.

Seigen then saw how each of his previous comrades put their hands in front of their faces, before hollow masks started manifesting, each different than the other, what's more, he could feel how their reiatsus are increasing. But Seigen, with his Zanpakuto on his right hand, kept his bored expression nonetheless.
While Ashido still has his known Gazelle shape, Rose's mask on the other hand looked like that of a bird, similar to that of a doctor's mask from the Italian renaissance.
Shinji's hollow mask had a shape similar to that of an Egyptian pharao, Love's, on the other hand, looked like a traditional oni mask and Kensei's looked like a hockey faceguard.
After the hollow mask's manifestation, the five Visoreds looked again towards their still unimpressed-looking ex-comrade.
Ashido then stretched his own Zanpakuto towards Seigen.
„Let's go ! " Ashido shouted, making all five of them using Shunpo.
Kensei appears first in front of Seigen, aiming with his fist toward him. Seigen, however, used his left hand to take Kensei's right arm, preventing him to be punched by Kensei's right fist.
Seigen then used his Zanpakuto to aim for Kensei, only for him to be stopped the same way he stopped Kensei in the first place by holding his own right arm as well. But then Seigen felt Kensei's reiatsu increasing, making Seigen let loose of Kensei's right arm.
Kensei then used one of the Visored exclusive Hakuda Techniques known as 'Sandbag Beat.'. Kensei used multiple extremely fast strikes, which would seriously damage his opponents to the brink of the dead. Unfortunately, Seigen could dodge all of Kensei's strikes.
After Kensei's technique came to an end, Seigen was about to use his Zanpakuto towards Kensei, only to be stopped by Love and Rose, who both used their own Zanpakuto to slice Seigen, who received two cuts on his both shoulders, since this time he couldn't dodge it the same way like against Kensei's fists.
But to both Visoreds surprise, those two cuts didn't seem serious for Seigen, since not as much blood came out as they expected it to be.
But before Seigen could try to heal his wounds with Kido, Ashido and Shinji finally appeared as well for him, only this time Seigen couldn't move away for some reason.
What's more, Ashido and Shinji were both holding some kind of chain or rope, which they then used to wrap around Seigen, making him even more unable to move.
Seigen then realized that they want to capture him rather than kill him after a blue-colored cubic like Kido Barrier has been activated around. What's more, another, but larger blue cubic Kido Barrier has appeared, now surrounding the smaller Kido barrier which in turn surrounded Seigen himself, resulting in some kind of Kido double-barrier.
At first, Seigen wondered who of them 5 is performing these Kido spells, only for them to look towards Hachigen, who also looked towards Seigen, who confirmed Hachigen to be performing these Kido spells.
Ashido and the others then surrounded the incapacitated Seigen, Ashdio being the one seeing him face-to-face.
„you mentioned that you have a deal with Aizen … " Ashido spoke to Seigen, who just remained silent.
„ … does it have something to do with Fujimaru, Matsuri, and Shiyo? If yes, then we don't have to fight any longer" Ashido stated while putting his Zanpakuto back into its scabbard.
Seigen meanwhile pressed his forehead as if Ashido has hit a nerve.
„you've seen Matsuri already with me back in the schoolyard, so you know now that I'm not lying. " Ashido added.
„Fujimaru and Shiyo are both fine as well, so please, let's stop this, Taichou." Shinji added with a serious expression.
Seigen then looked down the ground for a moment before looking up again towards his ex-comrades.
„I can't … " was his only response before he lifted his Zanpakuto up, somehow lifting it towards a certain direction behind them.
„strike down … " Seigen spoke, which made Ashido putting out his Zanpkatuto while Shinji and the other Visoreds nearby also knew what was about to happen.
„Shiden !" Seigen shouted his Zannpakuto's name, his reiatsu growing while releasing his Shikai, which also made Hachi's Kido barriers crumble and breaking by the purple-colored thunders.
While changing its shape, Seigen's blade became jagged on its sides, resembling a striking bolt. At his sword's end, there were now two large sharp points.
„Ashido … " Seigen spoke toward the current Visored's team leader, „ do you remember what I've told you back then in Europe ?" Seigen asked.
The 5 Visoreds were even more on alert right now, also becoming slightly nervous by that reiatsu shockwave. Shinji himself even somehow compared it to Aizen's own reiatsu.
„if yes, then you already know why I'll never stop" were Seigen's words before he started running fast towards Ashido.
But before Ashido expected their both Zanpakuto's to clash, Seigen used Shunpo.
Ashido immediately turned around, expecting to be attacked from behind, but the attack didn't come.
Shinji, Kensei, Love, and Rose did the same, but there was no attack on any of them.
„SHIGASUMI " everyone heard Seigen shouting before a loud thunder could be heard.
This made the 5 Visoreds to make all shocking expressions when they've turned around seeing not only the purple-colored thunder of Seigen's Shiden but also Bansui attacking along the way.
Seigen and Bansui had aimed for Hachigen, cutting his stomach diagonally, his blood coming out of his stomach like a big 'X', resulting not only for him to lose his consciousness, but also falling from the air like a hard object, making him hit the ground also rather hard.
Not only Ashido's team but also Naibu and the female Visoreds couldn't believe what has happened behind their backs.
„HACHIIII !" Shinji shouted with a shocking expression, wondering why this has happened he didn't saw it coming.
Ashido, Kensei, Hiyori; all other Visoreds made the same shocking expression while seeing their comrade laying on the ground unconscious.
„one vermin less, I guess … " Bansui commented while grinning towards his target along with his partner, „after all, my Rosutowanzu won't allow him to regenerate, even with Kido. " he added.
„and after all, my Shiden's cuts won't allow him to move his hands, which now leaves only nine targets … " Seigen added coldly while he and Bansui looked again towards the remaining Visoreds.
„I'm quite disappointed" Seigen spoke to the 5 Masked Visoreds, „despite becoming presumably much stronger than I remember you to be, you still lack tactical knowledge, letting Hachigen be attacked by us directly. Considering that every one of you had the opportunity to prevent our both's assault" Seigen commented disappointedly before looking towards Ashido, „especially you, Ashido. Is that really all you've got after 'that' time ? " he added still with his cold expression.
There was again a big silence. Ashido meanwhile looked down with his hollow mask still on, remembering the painful memories of how he became a Visored.
„Everyone … " Ashido, while making a more serious expression, spoke louder than usual, „ … I'm sorry, but please stay out for now. Go and help Hachi instead " he ordered, much to his masked comrade's confusion.
„stay out … ? " Kensei wondered at first if he was hearing right of what Ashido is talking about, only for Shinji to prove that he was hearing clearly.
„ ASHIDO WAIT ! " Shinji shouted effortlessly because Ashido already jumped towards Seigen.
„drop down … " Ashido stated while holding his Zanpakuto with his two hands in front of him,
„Hakyukoka !" he shouted, releasing the Shikai of his own Zanpakuto, along with a larger amount of Reiatsu.
With that, Ashido's Zannpakuto changed its Shape from a usual Katana's blade and green hilt into that of a large cyan-colored Knife, along with many holes in the middle. All in all, it looked like a larger, cyan-colored version of a 'Santoku' Knife with numerous holes rather than a Katana.
Ashido now aimed for Seigen with complete focus. His own eyes beneath his hollow mask looking towards Seigen's eyes.
When both released Zanpakuto's in Shikai state clashed, everyone else could feel a rise of their Reiatsu.

Meanwhile, Bansui also tried to approach towards Ashido with his Rosutowanzu but was stopped by Naibu with his 'Einhander'.
„you shall not pass." Naibu calmly commented towards his opponent, making him clear to stay out of Ashido's fight against Seigen.
Bansui just grinned, „As you wish." he said grinning before he was about to attack Naibu as well.
'should I use 'elenchos' against him? No, at my current state, my Schrift won't have the intended effect on someone like him.' Naibu thought.
Naibu concluded that he had no other choice:
„Halbstil … "
he suddenly said, much to Bansui's surprise who noticed how reishi is collected by Naibu from the nearby area, while he was lifting his 'Einhander' in the sky before its hilt started to glow as well.
„Peshaiah !" Naibu shouted out before a large amount of light erupted from his 'Einhander', making it look identical to a supernova, in a large glowing sphere's shape.
After the 'supernova' ended and the rays of light stopped, Bansui, as well as the female Visoreds, saw that Naibu suddenly had one blue glowing wing coming out of his right upper back, what's more, his entire clothes glowed blue as well and the third unusual feature was a glowing slice on his head, which also had the same shape as his pendant.
In his new form, where his 'Einhander' dissapeard as long as he's like this, Naibu then used his pendant to activated his Spirit bow.
Bansui's eyes were wide at that moment, „I see, so that's the Quincie's 'letzt Stil', but from what I remember, was it really a good idea to use it at all, after all, you're gonna lose your Quincy powers if I remember" he stated, grinning again while he flew to attack Naibu with his released Zanpakuto, „and even if your Shinigami-powers are well developed, it won't be enough for you to withstand my attacks " he added while he's about to slice Naibu as well as like he and Seigen did with Hachigen.
„you're wrong, " Naibu said while remaining as calm as he usually was even during battles before he used Hirenhyaku to teleport away from Bansui's attack.
Naibu appeared again behind Bansui,
„This isn't 'letzt stil'" Naibu said, „As I stated recently, this form is called 'halbstil' " Naibu explained further while loading his spirit bow with a reishi-arrow, „and to spare you with too many details: I can use it as long as possible, which means that I won't lose my Quincy powers" Naibu added before shooting his powerful Reishi-arrow towards Bansui.
But as Naibu expected, Bansui could destroy Naibu's arrow with his 'Rosutowansu'.
despite that, Bansui has to admit that this attack was quite troublesome, he still grinned, „what a shame, since I do enjoy listening to details, but at least today won't be as boring as I believed it to be" Bansui stated before Naibu used 'Klavier', a technique where he shoots a lot of reishi-arrows at once, towards Bansui, who eighter dodged them by using Shunpo or blocked them via his Zanpakuto, many of the missed reishi-arrows went still flying around the area.

Ashido, pressing his teeth beneath his hollow mask, meanwhile clashed many times with Seigen, who just stared towards Ashido rather unimpressed.
But then, Ashido saw how Seigen's eyes widened for a small moment, only for his expression to change into that of disappointment.
Ashido then decided to use one of his Zanpakuto's abilities.
„Uzu noDisuku " Ashido said before his Zanpakuto started glowing in cyan color. What's more, while jumping towards Seigen, his whole body started to glow in cyan color as well before Ashido's body and Zanpakuto in his both hands, started to spin, his Reiatsu even more increasing.
All in all, Ashido looked like a flying Frisbee. A deadly, cyan-colored glowing Frisbee with a sharp deadly spinning edge.
Seigen meanwhile lifted his 'Shiden' with both hands up, ready for Ashido's attack.
When the distance finally has shortened, Ashido and Seigen finally attacked each other. While Seigen stroke with his Zanpakuto, Ashido's Hakyukoka also wounded Seigen's left stomach area.
It was at this moment that Ashido's attack stopped, making him stay still for a while.
Right now, Ashido and Seigen were looking each their opposite direction. While Ashido seemed slightly exhausted, Seigen remained rather calm.
Suddenly, not only has both of Ashido's hollow-mask, his real and second hollow mask, been broken, but also Ashido started bleeding rather heavingly because of Seigen's stroke.
Because of his bleeding body and the rather great pain, Ashido, like Hachi, fell from the Sky.
But compare to Hachigen, Ashido luckily fell on the rooftop of the abandoned Hospital, what's more, his fall wasn't as hard as Hachigens since the rooftop floor wasn't affected that much.
„ASHIDO !" Kensei shouted towards him while using Shunpo to come to Ashido, trying to lift him.
„'Why did you become so weak ?' " both Kensei and Ashido heard how Seigen asked Ashido disappointedly while both Visoreds turned around to see their previous comrade, Kensei meanwhile held his Zanpakuto, ready to confront Seigen if necessary.
„That's what I've been wondering since you've saved that girl today in the middle school." Seigen said while coming closer towards them both, looking towards Ashido's eyes.
„Usually, someone like you would've finished those weak hollows without much effort ... "Seigen started explaining while also looking towards Kensei", but you all had to activate your hollow mask against me. And even here and now, you couldn't even wound me anywhere near effectively. I really wondered why you had to activate your mask while saving that girl in the school, but now it makes sense … " Seigen explained before looking towards Ashido's bare left chest since his clothes have been torn apart as well because of Seigen's successful attack.
While Ashido pressed his teeth because Seigen has finally found it out, Kensei meanwhile looked towards where Seigen is presumably looking.
„a tattoo? … wait... is that his … " Kensei wondered at first what that quite large tattoo was on Ashido's left chest and why that seemed important, only for Kensei's own eyes to go wide again since he couldn't believe his own eyes.
„But why does it seem larger … " Kensei wanted to ask, only to be interrupted by the previous Captain.
„correct … " Seigen confirmed Kensei's thoughts while Ashido and Kensei realized that he was now staying much closer towards them both.
„that's your power limit seal, isn't it Ashido " Seigen openly confirmed, „like those that every Shinigami would gain after they become either a Lieutenant or Captain while entering the mortal world." Seigen explained, „and after entering the mortal world, since a Captain's or Lieutenant's power is reduced by 80%, you can only use 20% of your true power " Seigen added while looking towards the unconscious Hachigen, who's been treated by Shinji and the other remaining Visoreds.
„I'm sure everyone here present still has such a seal, even though I guess it looks different" Seigen continued after putting his gaze back to Ashido, „but seeing that symbol's size, it seems to me that even 20% of your powers it too much for the mortal world, am I right, Ashido? " Seigen now questioned Ashido, who looked away while feeling shame now that his secret has been exposed.
„What a shame." Seigen said while lifting his Shiden,
„just because you refuse to fight with your full power, because you refuse to be the one you're truly are, not only all of you will die soon, but it makes me angry, after all … " Seigen continued,
„if I remember correctly, that was the same reason why Kuruyashiki has died while facing against his final opponent who became the next Kenpachi." Seigen said before he also made an angry expression,
„because he refused to fight with his true full power just for the sake of his nearby comrades, Kuruyashiki had to die such a pathetic dead, leading his comrades and Division into shame in the long term" Seigen said disappointedly, his Shiden still lifted, which made Kensei preparing his own Zanpakuto as well while looking with a serious expression toward his previous comrade since he knew what he's talking about.
„you know, everyone, … " Seigen said, „I really never wanted us all to be enemies" he continued explaining while looking towards Ashido again " especially after I've found you again and after everything that I've told you, what's more, because of your efforts in Hueco Mundo back then" Seigen stated while Ashido suddenly thought about a certain female blond Vasto Lorde, „but if you want to end it like that … fair enough … " were Seigen's final words before heatstroke down his Zanpakuto toward the two Visoreds.
He was about to cut both Ashido and Shinji, only for him to cut a very long, and green colored Reishi-Arrow, which has been shot towards Seigen from his right side.
And despite cutting the Reishi-Arrow in two halves, it still continued flying, each part into a slightly different direction before each of them reached a target, which was the ground, making it explode, destroying the ground visibly.
At first, Ashido and Shinji wondered from where that Reishi-Arrow has come from since they knew that Naibu was actually over them still confronting Bansui, but even both Bansui and Naibu themselves looked towards their direction, wondering what's going on there.
But then, they all felt four familiar Reiatsus near them.
There was a silent moment right now while Ashido and Shinji looked at who has arrived.
„It's been a while, isn't it? " Seigen spoke after the silence while turning his head towards his right, seeing a group of familiar faces staring at him.
On Ashido's and Shinji's left, there stood Fujimaru, Matsuri, Shiyo, and Fujimaru Namikaze, all four of them looking in shock and disbelief.
FLASHBACK – SOUL SOCIETY - 260 YEARS AGO
It was a big day for the youngsters, after all not only they've finally graduated from the Shin'o Academy, but also they were immediately assigned to the 5th Division under the Captain and their Stepfather Seigen Suzunami.
For this, Seigen organized a special Dinner, consisting of him, his Lieutenant Shinji Hirako, his older Sister Konoka Suzunami, her daughter, and Seigen's Niece, Shiyo Suzunami, and of course his adopted children, Fujimaru Kudo and his twin sister Matsuri Kudo.
But before the food could be delivered, Konoka had to be sure that the food's quality was right, which was the reason she went ahead for the upcoming meal from the cooks she ordered while the others remained waiting in the living room.
„hmm, I still can't believe that Matsuri-chan gets to be in the 3rd Seat while I'm in the 4th." Fujimaru said while pouting in front of everyone at the dinner, still waiting for the meal.
„Don't complain, after all, I didn't have slept during any lesson."
„As if a Shinigami is supposed to listen in some room to some hard explanations the whole time. And I also admitted for many times that I'm not that interested in Kido, didn't I."
„Still that's no excuse to sleep during school, don't you realize how much disrespect you showed in front of Onabara-sensei ?"
„now, now, you shouldn't complain about that, the important thing is that we all succeeded, didn't we." Shiyo stated happily, which made Fujimaru slightly blush, much to Matsuri's annoyance since this behavior of her brother showed that he didn't seem to listen at all.

It was at this moment that the Shoji-door has been opened, revealing Konoka, her husband and Shiyo's father named Imuka, and other servants who brought the meal.
Konoka had long red hair parted down the side, with only the right side of her bangs on her forehead, and dark green eyes. She wears a hair clip in the shape of a flower on her right side, which rests on her shoulder, and a light pink kimono with a red cloth around her waist
Imuka on the other hand had long blue hair, so long that it could literally reach the floor despite him standing up straight. His pale skin and blue eyes making him look quite handsome as well. He wars a black-colored yukata and a dark blue haori.
Everyone immediately looked quite excited when she entered, even Seigen himself.
„I hope that we didn't came too late."
„you're on the right time, oka-sama,otou-sama." Shiyo said excitingly towards her mother.
After the mean has been placed around the big table in front of them and the servants left, Fujimaru didn't hesitate and was about to eat, along with Shiyo.
„hmm hmm." Seigen caught, making everyone looking towards him, „before we eat, I want to say something." Seigen stated.
While most of them were all ears, Fujimaru and Shiyo still tried to take something from the delivered dishes, only for them to feel a terrifying atmosphere, which turned out to be Konoka, who on the outside smiled, but her husband, her daughter, her brother and of course her step-nephew knew what that smile means, which made them really stop going for the food in advance.
„I want to express my gratitude for Fujimaru, Matsuri, and Shiyo for graduating, and I wish for Shiyo, who'll join the Kido-Corps under my sister as well as for Fujimaru and Matsuri, who'll join my Division, to have a long and prideful life, as well as that if one day I retire, that one of you might become strong enough to be a Lieutenant or Captain of the Gotei 13, campaiii " Seigen shouted as loud as possible.
„ „ „ „ „ „CAMPAIIIIII " " " " " " everyone else shouted as well before starting eating.
