Chapter 13: nametwins
(OPENING: Leader – Warrior Inside)
LATER - SLEEPING ROOM – URAHARA SHOP - EVENING
Fujimaru had a large headache when he woke up.
„ahhh … " he cried slightly before opening his eyes, „where am I … " he wondered while moving his head towards the right side, seeing a sleeping Ashido inside a Futon beside him.
„Fujimaru-dono … " he heard the voice of Tessai from the other side before he looked towards him, who sat near him.
„Tessai-san … " he replied rather sleepy after he lifted his body.
Tessai then came closer, embracing him in relief while he could feel Fujimaru's hands gripping on his shirt.
„where are we … " he still wondered, looking around again, even around himself.
„ at our shop" Tessai commented in relief while he pointed out behind Fujimaru, who turned around and saw a still unconscious Matsuri, Shiyo, and Ashido, each inside a Futon as well.
When Fujimaru looked towards them three closer, he saw that Ashido was shrouded with bandages, suggesting he has been wounded rather hard.
He then saw towards his sister and Shiyo how bad their wounds were, but luckily, both girls haven't any bandages around their bodies.
Fujimaru kept looking towards Matsuri and then Ashido before he remembered everything again that happened.
„it's been a while … "
„It seems that no one told you the truth"
„Suzunami-taichou is our enemy"
„did you knew that these swines would come today"
„MAYBE I WASN'T STRICT AND HONEST ENOUGH WITH YOU"
All those words Fujimaru remembered not only caused rather painful headaches but also making some tears on his own since he realized that his own step-father was about to kill him, his twin sister, and even Shiyo.
„Yofu … " Matsuri whispered out of nowhere while being unconscious, making Fujimaru slightly tearing since this proved that what he remembered wasn't a nightmare.
„don't worry about them … they'll make it … " Tessai suddenly said to comfort him while staying beside Fujimaru.
The Last two words however seemed to make him silent again.
„ … thank you Tessai-san … " he repeated quietly while looking towards his twin sister.
It was at this moment that Fujimaru stood up.
„I'm going to have a long talk … please watch out for Shiyo and Matsu-nee, " he said before he went towards the door leading out of the room without answering his sister.
„Fujimaru-dono … " Tessai said rather sadly while seeing how he left the room.
Even though Tessai didn't saw his face, he knew exactly that he's very angry and confused right now, which is the reason he didn't follow him at all, instead, he turned her gaze towards Matsuri, Shiyo, and Ashido.
FRONT ENTRANCE – URAHARA-SHOP - EVENING
When Fujimaru, his expression that of an angry and depressed young man, came at the Entrance he already saw before the hollows appeared.
He looked around, wondering where Shinji and the others might be since he couldn't feel any of their Reiatsus while staying on one of the Tatami mats. The only person he saw was the girl of Urahara named Ururu, who was cleaning the floor with a large broom.
„where are the others? "Fujimaru asked with a rather imperious voice. He knew very well that it was very rude, but the fact that Shinji and Ashido presumably knew about his step-father, was enough to justify his behavior.
„they're all down." Ururu replied with a rather uninterested sounding voice while still keeping cleaning the floor, not looking towards Fujimaru's face.
Fujimaru pressed both his fists his eyes, „what do you mean by 'down'? "
At this moment, Ururu stopped cleaning before she came towards Fujimaru.
Fujimaru then saw Ururu is stooping down at another of the tatami floors, only to touch it with her both hands before lifting it, revealing an entrance.
At first, Fujimaru wondered how there could be an entrance, only to remember how he once saw Urahara and Tessai coming out of it.
When Fujimaru came closer towards the entrance 'down' as Ururu proclaimed, he saw a rather long metallic ladder, what's more, he now could feel several Reiatsus, among them those of Shinji, Rose, and Love.
„They're awaiting you" Ururu suddenly said, making Fujimaru look towards her for a moment before he looked down again.
Fujimaru didn't hesitate and jumped down.
STUDY CHAMBER – URAHARA-SHOP - EVENING
Fujimaru's right hand and both feet touched the ground after he landed.
When he lifted his body up, he was slightly surprised, seeing a rocky landscape and what's more, a clear blue sky.
At first, he wondered how's that possible, but then remembered why he was here in the first place, now following the Reiatsus of the others who are around. Luckily, all the reiatsus he could feel were coming from a common direction, making his decision easier on where to go next.
While walking towards the direction, the memories of how he saw his step-father again returned to his mind. He still couldn't understand it, was he really an enemy now?
Now, Fujimaru could see the Visoreds as well, Urahara and Shinji in particular since they both were staying right on his sight. Naibu and Namikaze however were nowhere in sight for some reason.
Fujimaru stopped while seeing towards Shinji's eyes while Urahara's eyes were not visible thanks to his hat.
„I'm glad to see that you're unscathed, Fujimaru." Shinji stated calmly but rather nervously as well.
„'unscathed' … "Fujimaru replied to Shinji's statement, making Fujimaru not only pressing his fists again out of anger but also his teeth as well.
Even though Shinji saw it coming, he didn't dodge the punch he received from Fujimaru on his eye before falling down.
What's more, Fujimaru also took Shinji's shirt collar with his both hands, making Shinji with his swollen eye now seeing Fujimaru's angry expression.
„Now tell me, Shinji, who was that man you all were fighting against? " Fujimaru demanded.
„I believe you know the answer already" Shinji just stated.
„why ?" Fujimaru wondered while his eyes became slightly teary „why are you saying this" he added.
„don't you still get it" Fujimaru suddenly heard Namikaze's upset voice „that swine was Seigen Suzunami, a traitor and a murderer? " Namikaze stated loudly.
After Namikaze's last statement, Fujimaru has let go of Shinji's shirt collar before looking angrily towards Namikaze as well, who also made an angry expression.
„What did you just said." Fujimaru demanded while now looking eye-to-eye towards his name-twin.
„you've heard me correctly, Kudo, Seigen Suzunami is a swine and mass-murderer, mark my words" Namikaze repeated his statement loud and clear to his name twin.
Fujimaru, now ready for a physical confrontation, came closer towards Namikaze, who also prepared his fists, only for Kenji and Kusaka to appear right between them both.
„and who're you both supposed to be? " Fujimaru demanded rather rudely while looking towards, resulting in Namikaze to take out his Ankoite pendant to prepare his Reishi-bow for Fujimaru's obvious disrespect for his leader, until Kenji stretched his left arm in front of his Ankoite underling stopping him.
„My name's Kenji Hiroshi, I'm the leader of the Ankoite. And this is Kusaka Kori, my second-in-command." Kenji introduced himself and Kusaka to Fujimaru.
„good evening." Kusaka added as well.
„Hiroshi … "Fujimaru looked towards him while wondering that he already heard that name before, what's more, his appearance seemed familiar in general for him, but he could think later about it.
„this stupid 'bigmouth' of your fellows there just insulted my step-father, which I can't take lightly at all, so please make him apologize." Fujimaru demands while referring to his name twin.
„I've guessed as much, but unfortunately" Kenji explained, „ his 'insults' are actually justified, from his mouth at least." he added.
„What did you just say ?" Fujimaru questioned while getting angrier.
„your name's Fujimaru Kudo, right ?" Kusaka now spoke to the young Shinigami, „say why don't we talk more peacefully about this?" he offered him.
„peacefully? " Fujimaru asked angrily before putting out his Katana.
„ … with someone who claims to insult my step-father is justifiable ?" Fujimaru questioned even angrier, his angry expression visible on his face.
„then how about we make you an offer ?" Kenji suddenly offered while coming closer towards the angered Shinigami.
Despite holding his Katana, Fujimaru was suddenly trembling, feeling the Reiatsu of Kenji, which was even for him intimidating.
„if you're able to defeat Fujimaru in a 'one-on-one, we'll answer every question you're asking me, how does that sound ?"
Not only Fujimaru's eyes widened in surprise, but also everyone else's, Urahar's, the Visoreds, and the other two Ankoites' eyes widened, in the underground chamber.
„Taishogun " Namikaze suddenly called out, seeing how his superior turned his head towards him, „I deeply apologize for interrupting, but did you just really said 'every question? " Namikaze questioned his leader if he heard him right.
Kenji meanwhile looked back towards the Shinigami again,
„From what has been reported to me, you and the other two girls haven't been properly informed about the current situation. So if you win, I'm willing to catch up on what they've failed to do. And of course, you can ask me about other topics as well, so what do you say ?" Kenji finally explained his offer.
At first, Fujimaru was obviously wondering if he's playing with him, but seeing how Kusaka and his name twin reacted, made Fujimaru realize that it wasn't a trick at all.
„I accept, " Fujimaru said, making Kenji smirking while seeing how Kusaka came closer towards Kenji.
„Kenji … " Kusaka wanted to question what Kenji was doing, only for Kenji to suddenly speak to him.
„Now that I think about it, Naibu should already be finished his call with Seireitou, so please ask him about it, " Kenji asked Kussaka, who immediately realized that Kenji didn't want to interrupt this fight.
„Alright" Kusaka just replied, making his way towards the ladder,
„We'll come along as well, since I want to see if Jinta is having trouble with our other 'guest' " Urahara suddenly proclaimed before following Kusaka, along with Ikumi, Sanosuke, and Shinji, who briefly looked towards Fujimaru before going along.
The other remaining Visoreds decided to stay at the chamber, hoping that the battle could distract them for a while.
FUJIMARU KUDO VS FUJIMARU NAMIKAZE - STUDY CHAMBER – URAHARA-SHOP - EVENING
After putting out his 'Einhander', Namikaze activated it, making a large, green glowing saber appear from it.
Namikaze then held his Einhander in front of him with both eyes, mirroring his name twins pose, who stayed 5 meters/16.40 feet away.
Between them stood Kenji, who meanwhile stretched his right hand out.

After a small moment, Kenji made a snap, signalizing the beginning of the battle.
Both Fujimarus used each their fast movement technique before their blades clashed for the first time, releasing a quite memorable amount of reiatsu.
' ' he's strong … ' ' both thought about each other before their first clash stopped.
Fujimaru then jumped away from Namikaze before he attacked again with his Zanpakuto, which was blocked by Namikaze's Einhander.
Meanwhile, Kenji was watching the battle from the distance along with the remaining Visoreds.
„you sure this was a good idea, Hiroshi-san? " Hachigen asked the Ankoite leader with concern.
„it's the only effective way for both to come back down." Kenji replied.
„but the way how they've confronted each other verbally just now, I doubt that this will end peacefully." Lisa commented this time.
„If it gets serious, I'll intervene of course." Kenji assured the Visoreds.
Back to the battlefield, Fujimaru wanted to attack Namikaze again, but this time he jumped away, before he stretched his left hand away, while holding his Einhander only with his right hand.
Fujimaru meanwhile looked at what his namesake was about to do, only for his eyes to widen,
'this pose, is he about … ' Fujimaru wondered if he was about to do what he just thought.
„Hyoga Seiran !" Namikaze shouted out before a massive wave of ice is shouted out of him, targeting Fujimaru from all sides, who tried to dodge but without success.
„ is that Kido? On that Level ?" Lisa wondered in disbelief.
„yeah, 'our' Fujimaru is quite talented with Kido" Kenji stated while slightly smiling, „I would even claim that he's naturally gifted with it." Kenji added.
„'Our' Fujimaru' on the other hand wasn't good with Kido-spells from what I remember. "
„but he told us once that he even hates using it, you remember? "
„if that's true, I wouldn't blame him, after all, I don't have the patience and nerves to learn that many spells either"
„which makes me wonder even more why you bother to learn it as well if I remember correctly, the Quincies have their own kind of 'magic spells called 'Ginto', right ?" Lisa commented
„indeed, but besides Kido and Ginto, we also develop our own spells while connecting our Shinigami and Quincy abilities." Kenji stated before turning towards the Visoreds, „the technique 'Kasteiung' I used to erase the three's hollowfication, is an example of our own creation." Kenji explained to the Visoreds before looking towards Hachigen in particular,
„don't you develop your own specific 'Visoreds abilities' as well? " Kenji questioned the large pink-haired Visored.
„well, I did develop my own 'hollow-Kido spells' for myself, but we prefer to combinate the hollow's 'Hierro' with 'Hakuda', after all, before being pronounced dead, Kawahiru-oyabun was known as the 'Hakuda Grandmaster', the best Hakuda user in the whole soul society. "

„I understand … " Kenji stated before looking again towards the battlefield.
After the massive waves of ice stopped, Namikaze breathed slightly harder while staying in front of the thick amount of ice he now created.
At first, he thought that he succeeded, but then he felt a large trembling, before seeing how his namesake jumped out of the stack of ice.
Fujimaru meanwhile used shunpo again before appearing near his name twin,
„didn't expect this attack" Fujimaru commented, „that was Kido, right? "
Namikaze watched towards Fujimaru's eyes again.
„As an Ankoite, I can use both Shinigami and Quincy powers, including Kido, but … " Namikaze stated while looking towards his opponent, who didn't seem to have any serious wounds,
„it seems that I've still to improve my Kido after all" Namikaze stated.
„I wish I could help you further with that, but since I'm desperate to interrogate your boss, I will end this as soon as possible." Fujimaru stated,
„flash... Ryujomaru!" Fujimaru shouted while releasing his Zanpakuto's Shikai form, which, as Namikaze saw, became a blue Gauntlet that rises up to his elbow with exquisite gold markings, and two curved blades parallel to each other. From the knuckle forward it resembles a regular katana blade.
Fujimaru didn't wait any longer and started attacking with his released Zanpakuto, clashing again with Namikaze's Einhander.
But this time, because of his Shikai, Fujimaru was stronger, surpassing the strength of Namikaze.
When Fujimaru pushed Namikaze's Einhander away, allowing Fujimaru to wound him, Namikaze used his Hirenhyaku to teleport away.
But then Fujimaru used his Shunpo to teleport where his opponent did, resulting in both to teleport across the whole chamber Namikaze trying to distance himself while Fujimaru obviously trying to shorten the distance.
After his 8th Teleport, Fujimaru decided that it was enough with his use of Shunpo. He made his Zanpakuto's blade glow in blue color,
„ 'Ryuten Soshun' " he shouted, resulting in not only his whole zanpakuto to glow blue, but also his whole body.
Namikaze, seeing his opponent glowing blue color, was about to use Hirenhyaku again, only to see that Fujimaru suddenly used shunpo much earlier.
Suddenly, he felt how his frontal body has been sliced surprisingly, proven by the amount of blood coming out.
At first, he wondered how this could happen, only to turn his head, seeing how Fujimaru not only stood behind him along with his released Zanpakuto stretched out with his right arm, but also saw blood on the Zanpakuto, immediately realizing it's his blood on the blade.
Fujimaru then turned his head towards Namikaze as well, showing an expression on his face that Fujimaru's certain of his victory, something that made Namikaze slightly angry.
„you want to end it soon? " Namikaze stated while starting to grin, his Einhander still at his right hand while at his left was his Ankoite pendant, making Fujimaru wonder what exactly Namikaze is about to do with said pendant.
„… alright … if you're going to go all out, then I'll gladly join as well .. " he added
„Halbstil …. " Namikaze stated while a large amount of Reishi started to collect from nearby,
„Kesheriah!" Namikaze added loudly before a large amount of light erupted from the Ankoite, who gained a green glowing wing on his right side, while his Einhander presumably dissapeard. What's more, Namikaze had a glowing halo on his head, remembering the shape of his Ankoite-pendant.
This time it was Fujimaru who was taken aback by his opponent's appearance.
„is that your Shikai? " Fujimaru wondered while remembering that the Ankoite are Quincies with Shinigami-gained powers.
„no … " Namikaze answered while activating his green glowing 'Setsudan Kojaku' Reishi-bow with his right hand,
„ 'Kesheriah' is the name of my extended Quincy powers." Namikaze added before stretching his Reishi-bow's string, while the surprisingly collected reishi from his one glowing wing.
Then, a reishi-arrow has been made, which aimed towards Fujimaru.
Namikaze stood for a while,
„ 'Regenfest' " he shouted before letting go of the string and arrow, shooting it towards Fujimaru.
Even though he was luckily able to dodge the flying reishi-arrow at first, what happened after was surprising to Fujimaru:
The arrow suddenly 'popped', like a water-balloon, right at the moment when he dodged, making Fujimaru look in disbelief when he saw how a green glowing liquid is splashing on his whole body.
After the splashing stopped, he tried to shake off the liquid from his left hand,
but for some reason, he couldn't do it,
„what the … " Fujimaru stated before trying to shake the liquid off with his released Ryujomaru,
unfortunately, his left hand suddenly remained attached to his Zanpakuto,
Fujimaru's eyes widened after realizing why this happened, but before he could react, he noticed how Namikaze suddenly appeared in front of him,
„Gotcha !" he stated before using his left foot to kick Fujimaru's knee's from behind before also using his hand to push him on the ground, successfully.
While the laying Fujimaru tried to stand up without success, he suspected Namikaze to be responsible by keeping him on the ground with his arms, but for some reason, he couldn't feel any pressure from his back anymore.
It was at this moment that Fujimaru remembered the liquid on his body.

„ what you just witness right now is the power of my Schrift, the greek Letter 'έ' (Epsilon) which is short for 'Elxi', which means 'traction' in the greek language, with that, I can make my opponents stick with someone or something, like a super-glue." Namikaze explained,
„a Schrift, by the way, is how Quincies call their unique individual ability, which only they can use." Namikaze added while preparing the next Reishi-arrow for his finishing stroke, making Fujimaru pressing his teeth, since he didn't saw any way out how to prevent the shot.
Fujimaru then saw how his namesake suddenly remained still for some reason,
„It must have been more than 170 Years … " Namikaze suddenly said after a while, „ 170 Years since I've seen my family alive." he added while making his reishi-arrow disappear.
FLASHBACK – TAINARA-CLAN'S AREA – KANSAI REGION – JAPAN – HUMAN WORLD
Being born to the famous Tainara-Clan, which was considered to be one of the strongest Echt-Quincy Clans back then, was the luckiest thing a Gemischt-Quincy like Fujimaru could happen.
The reason for that was because back then, the Tainara-Clan was one of the few greater Quincy-clans where Gemischt-Quincies weren't just accepted, but also could, by luck, held some kind of authority of the Clan.
The reason was because of the Tainara-Clan's unique structure:
There existed two 'Houses': the Main-House and the Branch-House.
While the Main-House itself consisted exclusively of Echt-Quincies while also being the 'public facade' and representation of the Tainara-Clan.
The Family Head was obviously also chosen by the Main-House, which was almost the eldest son of the Family.
The total opposite was the Branch-House:
when an Echt-Quincy of the Main-House adopted a Quincy-orphan, or had children with a mortal human or even illegitimate children, they were granted to be taken inside the Branch-Houses, making it consist mostly of Gemischt-Quincies.
Because Gemischt-Quincies were discriminated against back then by the Pure Quincies, the official Existence of the Tainara-Clan's Branch-House was kept a secret. The Branch-House's leader, called the Shadow-Head, was chosen democratically by all members of the Branch-House, something which was also unique among groups back then.
But even though the Branch-House was an integral part of the Tainara-Clan, they also had certain restrictions:
The main restriction was that they mustn't use their clan's name as a Family name, which means that their last name is eighter invented if it's an illegitimate child, or taken by the mortal's family's last name if it's born as a Gemischt-Quincy.
With Fujimaru Namikaze, it was the latter case: despite being born to Kigen Tainara, the second son of the previous Family Head and the current Shadow-Head, and Marina Namikaze, a mortal 'high spec' human, he inherited his mother's last name.
Fujimaru was around 12 years when he started his Quincy training for the first time. Surprisingly, he was, even back then, considered quite talented and promising, even for the Main-House.
Even though he was only part of the Branch-House, Fujimaru was still proud to be a Quincy of the Tainara-Clan. Even the heirs of the Family Head allowed him to meet, train and secretly even casually talk with them.
But this all would change one day when the Mansion of the Tainara Family was suddenly attacked.
Marina told her son Fujimaru and the other children of the Family to stay hidden at the secret vault of sekiseki, which protected those hidden since it could block the Reiatsus of those who hide.
Fujimaru and his two cousins, and heirs, Yukari and Heiwajima, were still hiding while they heard how the whole mansion quaked for a long time, which meant that outside were battles going on.
After around three hours, as Fujimaru, suggested, the quakes stopped.
After waiting for a while to be sure that it really stopped, Yukari spoke,
„I feel no other quake, maybe we should go outside."
„ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND, what if the Shinigami are still out there !?" Heiwajima stated rather upset by her brother's idea.
„I'm sure father, uncle and the others have already killed them. But they told us to stay here until they open the door." Fujimaru stated while holding his hands inside his pockets, his Quincy-cross on his left pocket hand.
„But what if they're wounded and need our help" Heiwajima pointed out to the nearby 'Quincy-first-aid' boxes, „that's why they left the bags for us, to be treated when it's over, obviously they expect us to carry it to them."
Fujimaru and Yukari looked towards each other before all three children then decided to open the sekiseki-vault.
After opening it, the three young Quincies saw how it was dark inside the mansion's corridors.
Yukari looked around if they could see one Shinigami, but luckily there seemed none of them to be around the corridors, and after all, it was very quiet in the first place.
As the three, each carrying one of the boxes, were running towards the mansion's living room, Fujimaru suddenly dropped the box he's carrying,
„guys … " he shouted towards his cousins.
„we'll go beforehand." Heiwajima shouted back,
„SO HURRY UP FUJI-NII" Yukari shouted as well towards him,
After lifting the box again, he hurried as fast as he possibly could to catch up with his cousins.
When he saw the living room door open, he suddenly noticed a cold draft, possibly from the room.
But as soon as he reached the living room, Fujimaru suddenly stopped.
What he now saw, made his eyes go wide in shock and horror, what's more, making his first-aid box drop again from his hands.
Right in front of him, he saw Heiwajima and Yukari, along with their boxes, laying on the ground while being illuminated by the moonlight, what's more, blood was coming out of their bodies.
„Yukari-nee … Heiwajima-nii ..." Fujimaru stuttered while calling their names.
As if it wasn't enough horrifying, Fujimaru suddenly heard steps behind him coming closer, making him realize that he wasn't alone in the living room.
„you're the one she was calling out … " the voice of an adult man could be heard behind him speaking rather emotionlessly.
His shock immediately turned into anger, making him turn around and take his Quincy-cross out while activating his green glowing Heilig-Bogen as fast as possible,
but before he could shape a Heilig-Pfeil as well, his Heilig-Bogen was suddenly shattered by a bleeding Katana as he saw it thanks to the moonlight while the figure was still hidden by the darkness of the room.
When he came closer, Fujimaru saw a middle-aged man with a white Haori, long dark red hair, which is parted down the middle with one stray bang on the left side of his emotionless face, his eyes staring wide towards the young Fujimaru, who immediately found out that a Shinigami is in front of him.
Fujimaru, his Quincy-cross still in his left hand, tried to activate his Heilig-Bogen again,
„don't bother … " the Shinigami spoke coldly towards the boy.
Fujimaru, not listening to the Shinigami, tried to activate his Heilig-Bogen again, but for some reason, it didn't work.
„why … " Fujimaru suddenly asked, making the Shinigami coming closer towards him.
„you Quincies have no right to exist in the first place." the Shinigami answered before he lifted his Zanpakuto, aiming towards Fujimaru.
Fujimaru, finally realizing that this is his final moment, closed his eyes while turning away, waiting for the coming blade.
While nothing happened, Fujimaru suddenly started breathing heavily before everything around him became black.
He didn't remember what happened after that, but when Fujimaru woke up, he was inside a tent, where Naibu was watching over him. He later had to find out that he's the only survivor of his whole Family.
STUDY CHAMBER – URAHARA-SHOP – BACK TO PRESENT
After hearing Namikaze's story, Fujimaru looked at the floor while pressing his teeth.
He absolutely didn't want to believe Namikaze's story, but remembering how he met his step-father again and how he wounded Shinji and Ashido, he couldn't deny it.
'why … ' Fujimaru cursed inside his mind of his father's actions.
Then suddenly, Kenji appeared between them both, signalizing both Fujimarus that the battle is over,
Kenji then looked towards Fujimaru,

Fujimaru then looked again towards the ground, again pressing his teeth,
„I … don't know what to say" he admitted,
there was a small silence for a while.
„Since that day I have always been wondering, why … why was I the only one being alive, why didn't he just ended it as he did with his whole family, I never knew …. until today. " Namikzae said while remembering how he heard about his murderer's adoptive children in the first place and the fact that one of the children had the same name as him.
then Namikaze's grip on Fujimaru started to get tighter,
„would Seigen have killed me if my name was different ? Would my cousin and mother be alive if their names were 'Matsuri' or 'Shiyo' like your sister and adoptive-cousin, WOULD THIS HAVE PREVENTED THEIR DEATHS !?" Namikaze screamed towards Fujimaru.
„that's enough … " both heard Kenji Hiroshi's voice.
Namikaze then felt his arm being held by a hand, which turned out to be Kenji's, who looked towards Namíkaze.
„I apologize, Taishogun " Namikaze apologized as politely as possible,
„it's alright," Kenji said while turning towards the young Shinigami, „after all, you both fought well I admit. But I have a question for YOU, Fujimaru Kudo-san" Kenji asked him, which made him look up,
„what are you going to do now? " Kenji asked him while waiting for Fujimaru's reaction.
UNKNOWN PLACE – UNKOWN TIME
When Ashido opened his eyes slightly, he first realized that he was presumably falling. When he opened his eyes wider and moving his head around the area, he realized that everything around him was nothing but darkness.
„where … " he wondered at first.
Then he remembered how he has been stabbed by Seigen.
„did I … " he now wondered if he has died after he has recalled his earliest memories.
„seems it was logical." he concluded while remembering his blood loss, only to remember the others, „did they … " he was about to wonder about the whereabouts of his comrades, only for a ray of light to appear in front of him.
At first, he closed his eyes because of the strong shine, only for him to feel a gentle hand.
When he opened his eyes, he saw a woman with dark green eyes, long red hair parted down the side, with only the right side of her bangs on her forehead, and. That woman wears a hair clip in the shape of a flower on her right side, which rests on her shoulder, and a light pink kimono with a red cloth around her waist.
Ashido then realized who's standing in front of him.
„Lady Konoka ?" He asked in disbelief while it started to become lighter again, making Ashido putting his hands in front of his eyes.
UNKNOWN PLACE -UNKNOWN TIME

When the ray of light disappeared, Ashido put his hands down from his eyes.
Ashido, while looking around, then realized that he was in some strange place which looked kind of a woodland edge as he would describe it, while the forest was behind him, in front of him was a small grassland while he could see a desert on the far horizon.
Ashido then started walking. While he walked, he wondered where he is while looking around him if there was something where he could go.
But then suddenly, he could see a silhouette of a person in front of him, making him now running towards said silhouette.
When he finally reached the silhouette he couldn't believe his eyes.
He saw the back of a tall man who has long hair, his clothes consisting of a Shinigami's shihakusho and what's more a Shinigami Captain's Haori with the Kanji number sign for 11.
„Aniki ? " he asked rather loud, which even he knew was not usual for himself.
When he wanted to come closer, Ashido realized that someone else was staying on his left side.
When Ashidio looked on his left, he saw the back of another Shinigami Captain, this time the haori sign was the Kanji sign for 5, to which Ashido realized that it must be Seigen.
Even though it was strange enough of where Ashido himself is, it was even more strange to see two Gotei 13 Captains here as well, not to mention Seigen himself, who fatally wounded him, what's more, no one of them both is moving a hinch.
But then Ashido realized another staying person on his right, but not a Shinigami.
This time, however, he saw the back of a humanoid figure with some kind of white dorsal fin on its back, what's more, that figure had more fins around they's body, but the most unusual of them was a fin on the backhead which stretched long enough to nearly reach down the ground, which kind of gave the impression that this long fin represents long hair. That figure's right hand seemed to carry some kind of large bride spear or club, which looked kind of a large fin as well, resulting in the appearance of a large fish- or shark humanoid. And the most unique feature was the blond hair.
Ashido then unconsciously came closer towards that strange-looking humanoid figure.
„I remember … " Ashido realized when he embraced the humanoid's whole body from behind before another ray of light came upon his eyes.
