Heya Guys! Man, its been a while since i last updated, huh? Sorry, i've been real busy, and still am HAHA i'll try to update though...next year, i may not be too active cuz my GCE O levels are there, so yea...i'll try to finish this story before that HAHA.
By the way, have you guys read House Of Hades already? I'm not gonna give spoilers here, but i just wanna say that it's TOTALLY FREAKING HELL AWESOME! If you haven't read it, go read it RIGHT NOW! Man THAT BOOK MAN!
Things finally are starting to get into place...and i'm bait scared for the survival of all of our favorite characters HAHA
All i hope is for Percy and Annabeth to survive and be happy together in the end. Man, they really fucking deserve it. If Rick is gonna put some crazy ass twist and make one of them die at the end of the series, ten books of building up their relationship and making us fall in love with their pairing makes...well, lets just say if he actually does that, probably more than half of his readers would literally HATE him for it.
And thus, i'm praying he's not gonna do that, or i'm gonna make my own version of that final book HAHA
Anyway, this chapter ends with a cliffy..somewhat :P i may or may not have a writer's block. In case you don't know, even though i have the overall plot, up till now, i've thinking up what will happen on the spot, like how things will happen HAHA.
Anyway, thanks for all the reviews! And pls R&R!
BTW PERCABETH WILL HAPPEN IN MY STORY SOON, BUT NOT YET. IT'S CUZ I DON'T LIKE TO RUSH THINGS, AS THEY ARE REALLY UNREALISTIC AND INSINCERE IF I MAKE THEM A COUPLE TOO EARLY. ANNABETH IS JUST RECOVERING FROM SOME...ISSUES, AND SO IS PERCY, SO NOPE, NOT YET. SOON THOUGH. ENJOY!

P.S:HOUSE OF HADES ROCKS HAHAHA
Annabeth's POV
I could feel everyone's eyes on me as I ran through the hallway, but at that very moment, I couldn't care less. I just had to find a lonely, empty spot, sit down, and get my act together.
Why did Nico have to mention him, of all people? Why? Why bring him back into my head? Why remind me of him?
"Fuck, fuck, fuck!" I cursed as I finally dropped onto the ground in the garden, my back slamming against a tree trunk.
There were several gardens in the school, since the school was so big. The one she was at was the most isolated and quiet one. The people in the school did not go to that particular garden often because it was small-too small for any activities other than sitting there and staring at the sun.
The garden was mostly a place for people to brood and think about their problems, to let out their emotions without too many people watching.
There would be others at the garden as well, but since the main reason why people go to that garden was to get some alone time to sort out their problems, they all understood each other, and stayed out of each other's way, making their presence as unknown as possible.
My body quivered like a leaf as I hugged my knees to my chest, sobs escaping me despite my efforts to hold them in. I closed my eyes and tried to take deep, soothing breaths to calm myself, but it didn't work. I was too panicked, too affected by the very thought of that…that monster.
So, since trying to restrain my urge to let out all my emotions wasn't working, I went with the only alternative- letting go.
I'm not sure how loud I was, or how crazy I looked when I released all that pent up emotions inside me at the garden. All I knew was that everyone in the garden was shocked, as when I looked up after a long time of crying and screaming, everyone at the garden was staring at me with astonished, shocked and sympathetic eyes.
It was only a while later did I feel a presence beside me. I had already stopped crying, but hadn't fully recovered from the whole ordeal of remembering that person again.
I had been hoping that it would be Percy. But alas, my hopes were dashed totally, and replaced with resignation and a tinge of anger and bitterness, as not only was it not Percy, it was the person that Percy hated.
"Hey," Micheal's voice carried through the gentle breeze, musical and almost enchanting. "Are you okay?" He asked, and I could hear the concern in his tone, though whether it was fake or real…I couldn't tell.
My whole body stiffened up as I realized it was him, of all people, that had came to sit beside me.
"How did you know I was here?" I asked coldly, looking up at him with a face so emotionless that no one would have ever known I had been a ball of sobs and tears a few minutes ago. Heck, no one would have known I was even crying if not for the red-rimmed eyes. Micheal seemed extremely surprised at my tone, and my expression.
He had been expecting me to treat him well. He had ben expecting me to be weak and maybe even share my problems with him. I could tell- I was good at reading people. Mostly.
One exceptional case was Percy, of course. Most of the time, he was so unpredictable, so full of secrets, I could never tell what kind of insane and retarded thing he would talk about or do next.
He raised his hands and backed off a little. "Woah, hey, chill," he said. "I was just walking by when I spotted you sitting here and sobbing your heart out, so I merely stood back till you seemed to have calmed down." he explained in a matter-of-fact tone. I frowned.
"Okay. Thanks. I better get going now." I said, trying to hide my discomfort, as I started to stand up.
"Was it Percy?" His question immediately gave him my fullest attention. My head snapped towards him, my eyes staring right into his.
"…Why do you say its Percy?" I asked, totally forgetting about why I had been upset a few moments ago.
I knew that the two hated each other, but I did not know why. Percy had been interrupted by Thalia when he was about to tell her, so she still didn't know about their past. She was curious as to why Micheal may think it was Percy that was making her cry this much.
"Oh, well, I've seen a similar case before…and it had a lot to do with him…" Micheal said darkly, anger clouding his eyes. What surprised me weren't what he said, but the genuine anger in his eyes and tone. He was actually angry at Percy for something.
Two sides of me battled each other- the one that really wanted to find out what had happened, and the one that told her that Micheal could not be trusted.
In the end, I decided to give in to curiosity. I figured that it wouldn't hurt to hear what he says, even though most of it may not be true, but he may still give a few clues here and there about what really happened. She would judge whether she could believe him or not by herself.
"Mind telling me about the case?" I asked, settling myself back on the garden floor. Micheal's eyebrow rose.
"Curious, aren't ya?" He asked in a jolly, playful tone, and a smirk that made me roll my eyes.
"Just get on with it, music boy." He sighed and nodded.
"Fine, fine," He said in a resigned tone. Suddenly, his tone became a lot darker, a lot more serious as he continued. "However, Annabeth, what I'm about to tell you is something that no one but me, Percy and a certain girl knows. No one in the gang knows what happened, and I hope you can keep this a secret from them." I looked at him suspiciously, studying his posture, his face.
Either he was a really good liar, or he was telling the truth. Seeing that he had not gone into any detail yet, he may be telling the truth. I nodded, silently willing him to continue.
"Well, I think you already know that Rachel and Percy was a couple once," Micheal said. I was a little surprised that his voice held so much bitterness when he said that. "They were the star couple, popular as hell in school." He let out a small chuckle as he reminisced the times. I observed him, amused as a small smile graced his lips and a hint of happiness twinkled in his eye.
"We three were best of friends. We did practically everything together," I briefly remembered that Percy had mentioned something like that before too, maybe even the exact same words. "Rarely were we seen separated, with very few exceptions like…uh…washroom?" he laughed at that, and I couldn't help but smile at it.
"Well," He continued after recovering from his fit of laughter. "Yea, time went by, and we became very well-known for whatever we did. Did you know that we had actually been a band…or something like that, for a short period of time." I shrugged, not telling him anything.
Suddenly, his whole demeanour changed. His bright face suddenly fell, replaced by a very dark one, so dark that he almost looked…evil. Anger was written all over his face, and an evil glint was in his eyes. The atmosphere became extremely heavy, despite us being in a sunny, quiet and comfy garden.
"Percy…that fucking bastard," I was even more surprised to see his entire body shaking with anger. His jaws were clenched tightly, his hands balled into fists, his muscles stiff as a board. "He…he…"
Micheal couldn't seem to finish his sentence. Alarms immediately sounded in my head and my alertness spiked up tremendously. I listened intently. The next few words…it could actually be the answer to my biggest question of all- what caused the conflict between the two of them?
"He…" Micheal finally continued after a long moment of silence. He inhaled deeply, his eyes shut tightly, as though he was remembering something very painful. Very, very painful.
"I loved Rachel" He whispered, before he abruptly stood up, turned around and walked towards the exit.
"And he cheated on her." His words travelled through the gentle breeze, and he was gone.
