Sup guys! I'm really sorry that haven't been updating for quite a while. I know i apologize every single time, but still...i don't really have a choice.

I'm really busy for this year, with O levels and all. I'm studying like hell for everything, cuz i'm actually aiming for seven distinctions even though my school standard isn't even that high. So you can actually see why i'm so worried HAHA

Also, now i have four days training for fencing, and i'm planning to train by myself from time to time. I'm seriously aiming for at least one more trophy at nat level for this year before i step down. I also hope to win something for inter school HAHA

Anyway, please understand, okay? I'll try to update as soon as possible, but it would not be that often. this year is a busy year for me, so really, please be patient, kay?

I think this is just a filler chapter, but Rachel's diary will be long, and i want to put up a chapter as soon as possible, so here it is.

So guys, enjoy and R&R! :) i'll cya in a while! HAHA

Annabeth's POV

"You did what?" Percy asked in barely contained rage. Jason, who was the really unfortunate victim of Percy's rage, winced at Percy's tone and took an involuntary step back from the enraged boy.

"I…I couldn't stop myself…a-and I w-was hoping that I c-could find something t-that would be able to help me f-find you…" Jason uncharacteristically stuttered, his eyes wide in fear. Nico, Grover and I merely stood behind Percy in complete silence.

Looking at Grover's and Nico's faces, I could tell that they have never seen Percy this way before. So infuriated…so enraged…so utterly furious. Even Thalia, who had seemed extremely pissed and had immediately shouted at Percy the second she caught sight of him, was staring at him with the same expression as Nico and Grover.

Percy was emitting an aura that said that if anyone said one more wrong word, he would literally tear him or her limb from limb.

There was only once I had seen this expression before, only once that I had felt the aura he was emitting right now, only once that I had seen him this angry before.

It was when he had saved me from Ivan. Remembering that day, so long ago, still sent shivers down my spine, and the very thought of what would have happened if he had not appeared and saved me there and then made me want to curl into a ball and really appreciate how damn lucky I was to have Percy by my side.

I would have felt pity and sympathy for Jason, if not for the fact that what he did was definitely something worth Percy's anger.

He had gone into Percy's out of bounds room, took a private diary and even read the diary.

At that moment, if I had not been so wary of Percy, I would have gone to him and smack him over the head tens of times for being such an idiot to give in to his curiosity.

"You…" Percy was so pissed, he was at a lost of words. He gritted his teeth, and his fist clenched tightly, his knuckles turning white. His whole body was quivering with rage. He looked like he was about to punch Jason right in the face.

I have seen Percy's punches before, and I knew I had to do something before Percy really does some severe damage. Jason seemed to be ready for a hit, shutting his eyes tight, stiffening all his muscles.

I quickly took a step forward and placed a hand on Percy's clenched fist. I didn't know where I was getting all that bravery. The only thought in my head was to prevent Percy from getting himself into serious trouble.

Percy whipped around as soon as I hand touched his fist. He glared at me with his sea-green eyes, now darker than usual and looking as though there was a storm raging inside.

I immediately felt like fleeing and hiding in a dark corner a million miles away form Percy. It was the first time I was feeling his anger, and I briefly wondered how Jason managed to survive so long against it.

But, some part of my brain- a really stupid and stubborn part- made me stare right back into his eyes, overcoming the urge to flee as the rest of my entire being was telling me to.

"Percy," Was all I said, in a soothing and disturbingly calm voice. I didn't know what else to say. That was the only thing I could think of.

The change was so sudden; I was stunned for at least twenty seconds. Almost immediately, his facial expression softened considerably, and his whole body stopped quivering like a leaf. The stormy look in his eyes calmed down significantly, his fist unclenched and his jaw muscles relaxed until he no longer gritted his teeth.

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, before giving out an incredibly long sigh. His eyes remained closed for a few more seconds, before he suddenly spoke up, causing a few of us to jump in surprise.

"How much did you read?" He asked Jason with unnerving calm. Jason shifted nervously, his body tensing up, as though he was preparing to dodge an attack Percy would launch once he replies.

"…Everything," Jason said in a small voice, eyeing Percy extremely closely. Percy's breath hitched for a moment, before he took another deep breath and sighed again.

"So you know it as well..." Percy muttered loud enough for all of us to hear. The strange thing was, his voice didn't sound angry anymore. It sounded…resigned.

"Wait, what is that book?" Thalia finally mustered up the guts to question. Jason looked at her with an annoyed look.

"It's Rachel's diary," He said pointedly, narrowing his eye accusingly as he glared at her. "Which states everything that had happened between the thre of them, including how it was not Percy who betrayed her."

"Jason," Percy interrupted as Jason looked like he wanted so say more. Jason immediately shut up, whereas Thalia looked like she had just run into a pole and was wondering what the hell happened.

As for me, Nico and Grover, we all stared at the book in astonishment. Rachel's…diary?

I had been wondering how Percy knew so much from Rachel's point of view…but if he had found Rachel's diary…maybe…

"…What?" Thalia asked in confusion. Percy sighed and rubbed the back of his neck.

"Sit down," he commanded. "All of you. I'll being some drinks here, and we'll go through the diary, as well as how I found it."

Once everyone was seated down comfortably, with cups filled to the brim with coke on the table in front of him or her, Percy picked up the book slowly.

As I observed his movements, the way his whole body seemed to be as hard as a rock, the way his eyes seemed to be shooting glances at everyone, the way his jaw was tensed, I could tell that what he was doing right there was taking a lot od courage.

It makes sense, actually. He had kept his girlfriend's diary for years, and along with it the secrets of what had happened so many years ago that caused one of the biggest uproar in the school- their breakup.

They mystery behind their breakup was finally going to be revealed.

Percy cleared his throat as he sat back into his chair. He was staring at the book with pain-filled eyes. I had never seen that kind of expression before on his face.

Longing, suffering, pain, guilt, sadness,. How long had he kept this inside himself? How long has he been suffering, longing for the girl he loved to wake up, and losing a little bit of hope day by day as her eyes remained close, as her body remained still.

How long has he been blaming himself for not being more careful, for not trying hard enough to protect her? How much pain had he endured, to painstakingly make it through the tough life of being the center of negative attention. How much sadness had he felt when he found out that his supposed brother- someone he thought he could trust his life with- stab him right in the back with the most precious thing in his life.

Micheal…that conniving, fucking selfish bastard. I briefly wondered whether he knew exactly how much he had done to Percy. Was he so blinded by his jealousy and greed that he even lost sight of the price?

"I'll skip straight to when things started," Percy stated out, his voice clear and steady, even though his eyes said otherwise.

And it hit me like a monster truck driving at full speed- If his façade was this good even under this kind of pressure, even when the truth that he feared would come to light was so close to being revealed, how much better had his façade been?

I then realized that everything, everything that he was doing right then- the body, the eyes, the face, the expression…the had always been there, right in front of all our eyes for the past years. He had always had the façade on, straight from the first second I met him.

But, I had never spotted the façade he had been holding up. It was just that good. Percy himself could see that I have a ton of problems that I have kept hidden, but for him…I never even thought that he would have problems until recently.

There was something that kept on nagging at me though.

"Percy," I interrupted as he started to speak. "If you had the diary all along, why didn't you show it to the others and give Micheal a piece of his own medicine?" He stared at me for what seemed like a million hours, before he looked down, an audible, resigned sigh escaping his lips.

"As usual, you're the fastest." He gave me a wry smile. And then looked at the rest, all of whom had questioning expressions on their face too.

"I thought," He started, his eyes shifting, staring at the direction of his room, which door was open. "That I could still salvage something out of the broken pieces of our past bond. I was being stupid."

All our eyes followed his eyes' line of direction, and we all spotted what he was staring at with such weariness and disappointment.

It was a picture of a younger version Percy in the middle, his arms wrapped around a younger version of Micheal and the red-headed, lifeless girl that I saw on that hospital bed. Rachel.

They were all wearing party hats, and were sitting down in behind a elaborately decorated creamy cake that was placed on the table. Twelve bright, colourful candles could be seen on the cake.

At the background, I could distinctly see a banner that said "Happy 12th birthday, Percy!"

They were all wearing wide, bright, energy-filled smiles on their faces, and their skin seemed to glow, making them look like three really happy, contented children that had everything they needed.

The complete opposite of what I see from them now.

"Looks like," Percy continued quietly. "My birthday wish for the past five years would never come to pass."

"Things would never be the same again."
