Hello people, and welcome back to Highschool of the Dead: Resurrection. I don't have any intro this time, so let's just get on with it...
When the group got back together, they immediately took the medical supplies they could take from the hospital, as well as some miscellaneous items from the police station, and some scraps of leftover ammo back to the bus, then drove back to base. Everyone then went home and called it a day, with Itachi removing one piece of clothing after another as he went to his shower, starting with his shoes, socks and pants, not knowing or caring that Saeko was there.
"Itachi...gentlemen are typically decent with their bodies..." She said as Itachi removed his shirt.
"Your point?" He asked before Saeko left and went to her bed before Itachi removed his underwear and went into his bathroom.
Saeko then woke up a few hours after dawn, and saw Itachi wasn't up...but he at least picked up his clothes at some point. She then waited for some time to pass before she went into his room...and saw him still asleep. She then sighed before swallowing herself and going over to shake him.
"Hey. Hey wake up." Saeko said and Itachi groaned as he stirred.
"What...?" He asked.
"It's morning." Saeko said simply.
"Leave me be." Itachi said.
"You need to be in the loop with us, like it or not." Saeko said, and Itachi sighed.
"Fuck me sideways..." He whispered.
"You're going have have to try pretty damn hard to win me over like that, now get up." Saeko said, and Itachi sat up and brushed his hair out of his face before glancing at Saeko...who stopped eyeballing his torso and looked at his face again with the same stoic expression she typically has.
Meanwhile, Rei began stirring when the sun come up and pushed herself off of Takashi before looking over the peaceful expression on his face, and smiling when he woke up.
"Good morning baby." Rei said softly, and Takashi returned her smile.
"Good morning baby." He breathed out.
"Ready to see me kick more undead ass?" Rei asked sensually while caressing his chest.
"Am I ever." Takashi said, and Rei smirked before getting off of Takashi and climbed out of bed...and only Takashi was wearing clothes, which were just his boxers. Rei then helped pull him out of bed before he pulled her into a kiss that started off simple and soft, but grew deep and hungry. The two lashed tongues, moved forward and back, side to side, and their hearts and lungs spiked with arousal. Rei then giggled into Takashi's mouth when she felt his manhood swell, and then broke the kiss before Takashi tuned her head and clamped onto her neck with his lips, making Rei gasp and tense up as he began tasting her.
"Ta...kashi..." Rei breathed out as his hands slid down her body until he was groping her round, supple buttocks and give it one gentle yet through squeeze after another. Rei continued gasping and pressing her luscious breasts into Takashi's torso as her dear boyfriend continued to grace her body with simple but intoxicating bliss. Takashi then turned her around, and then started fondling her breasts, making Rei gasp even more deeply and rapidly.
"Just when I thought you couldn't get any hottier..." Takashi groaned as he continued massaging, weighing, and rubbing the twin lumps of soft, abundant flesh on Rei's chest, which contained a heart that was beating even harder with her arousal. She then reflexively began rubbing her butt around Takashi's groin, making him groan himself.
"O.k...that...I think that..should do..." Rei breathed out, and Takashi stopped treating her breasts, and sat down on the bed with her on his lap. He then watched Rei catch her breath as she leaned into him. Takashi then ran a hand through her hair and watched her smile.
"Enjoy yourself?" Takashi asked.
"Did I ever..." Rei said.
"Copycat..." Takashi said.
"I'm serious; I had no idea you had that in you." Rei said.
"You should bring that out in me baby." Takashi teased before locking lips with Rei again...and she put his hand on her breast again, and he got to work kneading them both.
"Did you enjoy yourself?" Rei teased.
"Damn straight...you have really nice boobs." Takashi groaned and Rei chuckled as she reveled in the sweet pressure being applied to her flesh.
"Alright, that's enough, for real this time." Rei said, and Takashi get go of her breasts and let her get up.
"Let's go kick some more ass." Takashi said.
"Before we go...well, can I see your...well..." Rei trailed off.
"My what?" Takashi asked.
"Well...the rest of you." Rei said, and Takashi looked down at his erection.
"O...k...I guess so." He said before pulling down his boxers...and Rei stared at his manhood.
"Wow..." She whispered.
"Something wrong?" Takashi asked.
"Is something wrong? I'm seen mushrooms that have less...less..." Rei trailed off.
"Mass?" Takashi asked.
"I was going to say volume or definition, but...yeah." Rei said and Takashi pulled up his pants.
"So...let's get going, shall we?" Takashi said before going to grab his clothes.
"Now I know what to look forward to..." Rei whispered with a smirk.
"What was that?" Takashi asked.
"Nothing...nothing." Rei said before grabbing her own clothes and the two went to Masato's house to share stories with the group.
"...and then he tried to blow us up with a grenade belt on his person." Saeko said.
"He tried to murder you in the name of the Buddha? What a ballsack." Itachi said.
"That is why religious fanatics are some of the most dangerous people in history." Saya said.
"No kidding." Kohta said.
"I still can't believe you actually shot the guy." Takashi said.
"Takashi...he attacked us first, and he was going to blow us up." Rei said seriously.
"Oh I don't blame you, but...still." Takashi said.
"Don't waste your sympathy." Itachi said simply.
"Itachi!" Alice snapped.
"What? The guy didn't care about his own life, why should we?" Itachi asked.
"I'm sensing some tension that wasn't worked through." Saeko said.
"He killed a man yesterday!" Alice said.
"That was going to kidnap you, and kill me." Itachi said.
"What..?" Rei asked.
"You heard me, and I can guess why he wanted to take her." Itachi said, and watched everyone look at each other in awe.
"What is it? What was wrong with him?" Alice asked.
"Alice...you don't want to know." Saya said.
"Why not?" Alice asked.
"If Itachi's telling the truth, then that man wasn't going to try and be your father, if anything...well, let's just say that there would be absolutely zero honor in what he would have done." Saeko said.
"That...doesn't sound good." Alice said.
"No...it doesn't." Saeko said.
"And once again to set the record straight: I haven't lied to any of you a single time since we've met." Itachi said.
"How did you even know that he was going to...do things?" Saya asked.
"Because I encountered people like him before, just before I killed them too." Itachi said.
"This is like Shido all over again..." Kohta said.
"I doubt it. The Shido family has no honor, but I doubt any of them sank that low." Masato said.
"Says the man who blew his brains out despite apparently being his bodyguard." Itachi said.
"His whole family is tainted! Besides...that case was a heat-of-the-moment scenario, which was honestly pretty extreme." Masato said.
"No kidding, and you know what? I take back what I thought of you burning down my house; getting a blood stain that big out of the carpets would have been a bigger pain in the ass than it would have had any right to be." Itachi said.
"I'm glad we cleared that up." Masato said.
"So...what's our next move?" Shizuka asked, and Masato looked at the map.
"Temple? Check. Park? Check. A piece of the city? Check. Every store in this area? Huge check. Hospital and police station? Both check. Canal? No check." Saya said.
"What else have we not done yet?" Saeko asked.
"Well, there's a decent chunk of area on the other side of the city we haven't checked out." Kohta said.
"Wait, do you mean further into the heart of the city or...?" Takashi asked.
"No, I mean on the side opposite to the temple." Kohta said.
"That makes much more sense, because for those of you who don't know, we ran into some pretty heavily-armed guys when we went to get that supply drop yesterday." Takashi said, and then they heard a plane fly by.
"Speak of the devil..." Itachi said before going outside.
"Nice to see he has his priorities straight." Saeko said.
"Anyway, the area we came from with the last supply drop should be considered a no-pass zone; until we know what's going on beyond that area...we should stay around here." Saya said.
"But...status quo right? We're going to continue scouting and fighting our way until we find out what's past that area right?" Rei asked.
"Of course we are, although...how much gasoline do we have?" Takashi asked.
"About three canisters." Saeko said.
"Yeah that's not going to fly. Are there any gas stations close by?" Takashi asked and Itachi came back inside.
"That supply drop just landed on the other side of the city." He said.
"As in?" Kohta asked.
"The side away from the temple." Itachi said, and Saya looked at the map again.
"Well, we're in luck, there's a gas station on the way there." She said.
"I hope the gas there isn't gone yet." Shizuka said.
"Me too." Alice said.
"Wait, what about the canal?" Itachi asked, and the group looked at the map again.
"According to this, the canal goes from this side of the city, to the center of that side, then to the side of the city opposite the temple. Interesting irrigation system..." Saya said.
"I hope that's all it is." Rei said seriously.
"Well, at least we know that if someone really wants to, they can use that to sneak around the city, or take a page out of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' book." Itachi said before laughing as the group stared at him.
"Well, let's fill the bus up and get moving." Takashi said, and the group gathered their things before leaving.
When they arrived at where the map led them to, it was correct: there was a gas station right where it said it would be.
"Well...here we are." Rei said, before Shizuka opened the door, and Masato went out first and looked around as everyone else followed and looked the place over. Rei herself sighed at the memory of the time Takashi saved her from that Ghost who tried to kidnap and possibly violate here.
"This place brings back memories doesn't it?" Takashi asked.
"How did you know?" Rei asked.
"Because I think the same way." Takashi said.
"You see right through me don't you...?" Rei breathed out.
"I found some cash." Kohta said as he came out of the store area.
"Alright...moment of truth." Takashi said as he inserted some cash into each pump to see if any worked...and one of them squirted out a touch of gasoline.
"Success!" Kohta exclaimed, then Shizuka was motioned to get the bus in position, and when she did, Takashi did the honors and started filling the bus with gasoline.
"We've got company!" Kohta yelled, and the group looked where he was and saw a small horde of zombies approach. Masato was on top of it right away as his SCAR unleashed a storm of bullets, with Kohta, Saya, and even Alice and Shizuka joining in. Saeko and Rei meanwhile looked at the sides and back, then nodded before they split up to engage the stragglers with their gunto and naginata respectively.
The entire street became the site of yet another zombie bloodbath; bullets tore through their skulls, heads with severed or bisected, all while Takashi was busy filling the bus until he couldn't anymore. He then sat back and watched the others destroy the undead...and paid special attention to Rei of course. It was the first time he saw her use her naginata all over again, with Saeko complimenting the carnage perfectly. Each of them could have dealt with the number of undead they were fighting by themselves, but when working together, it was completely one-sided in their favor.
Eventually, the zombies were all dealt with, and everyone took a moment to breath before regrouping.
"That...was satisfying." Saeko breathed out.
"How's the bus?" Saeko asked, and Shizuka went inside to check the gauge.
"It's almost completely full now." She said.
"What was it before?" Masato asked.
"Just under halfway." Shizuka said.
"So now what?" Kohta asked.
"Now, we split up and get some more supplies." Takashi said.
"I will get the supplies myself." Masato said before walking off, then Saya sighed.
"Someone had better go with him." She said and Shizuka followed Masato.
"Figures." Rei said.
"Well, now what?" Kohta asked.
"Now we wait for them to come back, and maybe search the nearby places for stuff to use." Takashi said.
"So, who gets guard duty?" Saya asked.
"Me and Rei will look around, everyone else stay here." Takashi said and he and Rei walked off, as everyone else got back in the bus...and saw Itachi watching the pair leave.
"And where were you when we were busting our asses?" Saya asked.
"I had a hard night o.k.?" Itachi groaned.
"Right, what did you even do?" Saya asked.
"I mean, I couldn't sleep until after midnight, which is even less fun than it sounds." Itachi said.
"Yeah whatever..." Saya said, and then the group sat down and kept a lookout.
With Takashi and Rei, the two looked over multiple stores, houses, and even a daycare center, but found nothing useful, and of course, some zombies to kill, some of which were children.
"To think even kids would get this plague. I can't imagine how scared they were..." Rei said.
"Yeah." Takashi said.
"Takashi?" Rei asked, and Takashi sighed.
"Did I ever tell you me and Saeko ran into a bunch of kids once and she had bit of a mental breakdown?" He asked.
"I...don't think so..." Rei trailed off.
"Well, let's just say that it turned out to not be about the kids at all, but something she went through." Takashi said.
"What? What do you mean?" Rei asked.
"I don't want to say too much, but let's just say she and Itachi have more in common than you'd think. You know what, I should leave it at that; if Saeko wants to spill the beans, she do so on her own terms." Takashi said.
"Fair enough." Rei said.
"Until then...well, we have bigger problems." Takashi said and Rei nodded before giving Takashi a quick kiss and they continued going through the buildings. Eventually, they heard series of vehicles in the distance, then their hearts sank.
"Ghosts...they must be going for the supplies." Rei said.
"I hope the corporal can handle them." Takashi said.
"I'm more worried about Miss Shizuka. Corporal Toriyama's tough, but he's not invincible, and Shizuka can't handle the Ghosts, she's too soft." Rei said.
"Well...let's start praying for them." Takashi said.
Back at the bus, Itachi finally woke up from his nap, and saw everyone else looking around. He then looked around himself and then started yawning again.
"Well, not that this isn't fun, but I'm going to go check out that canal." He said before getting up and walking to the door.
"Takashi said to stay here." Saeko said seriously before Itachi stared at her and raised an eyebrow.
"Then stay here..." He said simply, before walking off the bus. Saya then sighed and rested her head against the back of the seat in front of her
"I'll go get him." Saeko said before following Itachi, and then they saw a convoy of vehicle drive by at a distance.
The vehicles the pair heard stopped around the area the supplies landed, and they left their armored cars one by one with a variety of melee weapons, and some pistols.
"We eat today boys." A Ghost said.
"Hell yeah, and we've earned after all this zombie-killing." Another Ghost said.
"It's too bad about Seiji, that guy owed me a round of sake." Another Ghost said.
"Hey, he was bitten, and you know the rules." The first Ghost said.
"I know, I know." The third Ghost said.
"We've got zombies!" Another Ghost yelled, and the Ghosts all drew their pistols, and opened fire, with most bullets hitting their heads, but others missed entirely, or hit the torsos. They continued on for several minutes, reloading and clearing their guns' jams when needed, until the zombies were all dead. The noise however drew more zombies to them, and they all looked around.
"Get in a circle!" A Ghost yelled, and they all followed the order with each one taking one part of the area to cover with gunfire. Eventually, they all ran out of bullets, pulled their bats, knifes, and even lead pipes before charging at the zombies. The entire group smashed skulls, pierced brains, and even severed heads entirely as they rampaged through the horde. They then regrouped and caught their breath.
"Who's hurt?" A Ghost asked and everyone shook their heads. "Don't lie to me..."
"I'm not lying." Another Ghost said.
"Me neither." Another Ghost said, and others groaned in acknowledgement.
"You know what will happen if we find out." The first Ghost said seriously.
"Let's just grab the supplies and go." Another Ghost said, and Masato showed up.
"I can't let you do that." He said, and the Ghosts all scrambled and looked at him.
"Who the hell are you?! We don't tolerate outsiders in our city." A Ghost snapped.
"Not that you'd know, but I'm no outsider. I'm Corporal Masato Toriyama, Japanese Self-Defense Force, assault division, and you are obviously civilians who have the audacity to wear the armor my fallen brothers-in-arms wore...!" Masato growled.
"We need the stuff more than they do." Another Ghost said.
"True as that may be, I can also tell you are not exactly civilized in some way or another." Masato said.
"Look around, civilization is dead, the government is dead, and the dead live. The world's gone to hell, and we're the demons now." Another Ghost said.
"Technically...you're Ghosts." Masato said.
"Are you threatening to kill us? You're out of your motherfucking mind." The Ghost said.
"No, Ghost is the term used by the actual military to describe people like you, the ones who live in zombie-infested areas, and from what I gathered, the ones around here...are not honorable." Masato said.
"Well...honorless or not, there's twelve of us, and only one of you. You're seriously outnumbered." The first Ghost said.
"And you are seriously outmatched." Masato said, and the Ghosts started laughing at him...before Masato pulled his SCAR, opened fire, and riddled a Ghost's chest with bullets, which horrifies the others so much that they forget to take cover before no less than three of their comrades laid down dead before Masato reloaded his partially-spent clip and went after the others as they finally took cover.
Masato then walked towards the area they were in, and inspected the dead bodies. They were really out of ammo, and the armor they were wearing was pitiful compared to the kevlar and ceramic armor he wore, so it was no wonder the rest ran from him. Nevertheless, it was clear as glass that he would have to deal with the rest before he could take the supplies. He then looked around, and saw movement that was quick enough to have been the Ghosts' work, and then heard movement behind him as well.
He then felt an impact in his side, as Ghost ran by him, thenhe pointed his SCAR at the Ghost who was carrying a metal bat, and put three rounds in his side, and one in the chest. He then felt two more impacts as two most Ghost bashed him with crowbars, then he turned to point his SCAR at them, only for his gun to get yanked downwards, then Masato removed the clip before it could be yanked out of his hands at the same time he was punched in the face by the second Ghost. Next thing he knew, he was swarmed from all sides by the Ghosts, who were merciless kicking him, bashing him with their melee weapons, and even when he countered or blocked their attacks, another attack finished what the first one started.
When they were done, they backed up and looked at Masato who was still beaten enough to keep from moving, but more enraged than anything. The Ghosts' leader then approached Masato with a knife drawn and put it at his throat.
"There's no way you want these many goods for yourself. Who are you working with?" He asked.
"It's just me me...!" Masato growled.
"Bullshit. You expect me to believe that you slaughtered all the zombies we found by yourself? No one is that much of a badass, especially in your condition." The Ghost said.
"Believe what you want...it's still true..." Masato breathed out, and then the Ghost looked to the side.
"Yeah? Then who's this pretty little thing?" A Ghost asked as he brought a restrained Shizuka into view, and Masato's eyes widened as the other Ghosts whistled, chuckled and looked her over.
"Look what we have here." A Ghost said.
"Damn look at the jugs on this one." Another Ghost said.
"Jugs? Man, I've seen cows that have smaller udders." Another Ghost said.
"So along with all this food, we get to wash it down with two gallons of milk." The Ghosts' leader said, and Shizuka started gasping and struggling as he approached.
"Stop! Let go of me! Stop! Please stop!" She yelled, and then Masato watched the Ghost's leader run his knife over Shizuka's blouse, and then started snarling, then yelling before he kicked a Ghost's shin so hard it broke in half, making him fall down screaming in pain. He then grabbed another Ghost's foot, yanked it out from under him, then rapidly sat up and gave another Ghost's diaphragm the hardest punch he could muster, before taking another Ghost's fist to his face, then backhanding the same Ghost, then kicking his back hard enough to break his spine, and launch him into another Ghost.
"He then ducked under a bat swing, gave the Ghost who swung at him a tooth-shattering uppercut to the chin, before taking his bat, blocking a countering two crowbar swings, then smashing in the forehead of the bat's original owner. The two crowbar-users made Masato back up as they swung at his legs and head at once. Masato then pulled a knife, slashed one of their throats open before stabbing the other in the neck, then put his knife away before throwing his bat at another Ghost to slow him down as he silenced the Ghost on the ground with a broken shin by stomping his face in.
The Ghost who took a bat to the face then charged at Masato again, then Masato tackled the Ghost to the ground, broke his neck, then used his body as a shield as another Ghost went for his abandoned SCAR, then fired the one bullet in the chamber, only to hit the dead Ghost Masato was carrying before he dropped the body, then pulled his M1911, shot the Ghost dead, then shot the last one before spotting Shizuka struggling against the Ghosts' leader who was dragging her away.
Masato the charged after them then pointed his gun at them...as the Ghost held his knife at Shizuka's abdomen.
"Stop! Leave now, or I'll gut her!" The Ghost snarled.
"Masato! Help!" Shizuka screamed.
"Shut it slut! Your friend here just killed all my men, my friends...and now, you're going to make it up to me, by letting me have all that tasty milk for myself..." The Ghost said...before Masato shot him in the elbow, making him drop his knife, and giving him an opening for Shizuka to elbow him in the gut and rush over to Masato, who was marching toward the Ghost despite how badly beaten he is.
"Like hell she's going through that..." Masato snarled before pointing his gun at the Ghost's head. "A worthless piece of garbage like you...profaning the body of a woman this innocent...? Ridiculous..." He then shot the Ghost just below the nose before walking out.
"Masato...?" Shizuka asked.
"Let's get the supplies back to the bus..." Masato breathed out.
"Maybe you should sit down first and let me look at you." Shizuka said.
"I'm fine, let's go." Masato said.
"Masato, your body is full of adrenaline right now. You could be seriously hurt and not even know it!" Shizuka said seriously.
"Then why can I stand?" Masato asked.
"I just told you! Now sit down!" Shizuka snapped.
"Forget it..." Masato said...before groaning and collapsing before Shizuka caught him, then struggled to hold his weight before working her up then slinging him over her shoulder.
"Just like I thought, now let's get you back to the bus." Shizuka said.
"Shizuka..." Masato breathed out.
"Shizuka nothing, I'm taking you back." Shizuka said seriously as she struggled to haul him forward.
"I wasn't going to protest...I was going to say...thank you..." Masato said, and Shizuka smiled.
"You saved me, now I get to save you." She said as Masato actually returned her smile as he started limping, which not only eased her stamina, but also sped them up as the twilight sun shined on the blood-soaked battlefield they left behind.
Talk about a bloody brawl. Anyway, Shizuka's absolutely right; there have been cases where someone actually wins a fight, despite getting the shit kicked out of them, and then dies from their injuries. Here's hoping that Masato pulls through, because if not, the group's in a bit of a pickle, especially since the rest of the Ghosts, if there are any, will not be happy about this. Here's hoping they don't find out who did it, and where that person is, nudge-nudge. But that's later, for now, my loving fans with have to Rate, Review, and Share while I continue busting my ass on this. Stay tuned.
