One Shocking Surprise: Fans & Flowers Edition

A/N: this is a Temari & Ino one. Hope you like it.

Shikamaru was grumbling as he was making his way to wake up is lazy teammate Ino. Now there was a sentence he thought he'd never come up with. He knocked on the door of the room she was staying in, but got no answer. He knocked a few more times then opened the door even though he might face Ino's wrath. He found the room empty and he was confused.

"Troublesome" he muttered as he left the room.

He told Chouji to wait for him at the gate since Ino was missing. He then headed off to see Gaara in hopes the Kazekage would shed some light on where his teammate had gone.

"What are you doing here Shikamaru, I thought you'd be gone by now?" Gaara asked looking up from his load of paperwork he had in front of him.

"Ino is missing. I need to find her" Shikamaru said.

"I see, last I saw of her she and Temari were chatting away with Naruto" Gaara said.

"Fine, she must've stayed overnight. May I go to the Kazekage mansion to get her?" Shikamaru asked.

"Sure, fine. Go" Gaara said as he waved Shikamaru off so he could get back to the paperwork he had on his desk.

So Shikamaru headed to the Kazekage mansion and went inside. He looked for Temari's room and finally found it. He knocked on the door and got no answer. He sighed since this seemed to be a repeated pattern. This all very troublesome for the Nara, but he knew if he didn't find Ino then he'd get chewed out and he didn't want that. He knocked a few times then the door opened up and Shikamaru's eyes widen. Before him was a shirtless Naruto and wearing his jacket that was tied around his waist making sure that it covered his bits.

"Man, it's too early. What do you want?" Naruto asked as he yawned and stretched then rubbed his messy blond spikes.

"Naruto, what are you doing here?" Shikamaru asked shocked at seeing his friend's attire or lack of one really.

The lazy chunin knew that Naruto was on vacation and decided to take it in Suna to visit Gaara, but he was wondering why he was in Temari's room of all places. Also why he was so underdressed in Temari's room.

"Oh, hey Shika, what's up?" Naruto asked.

"I'm fine Naruto, but again why are you in Temari's room?" Shikamaru asked.

"Why wouldn't he be you lazy ass. Naruto was enjoying the delights of the desert unlike you" Temari said as she appeared.

Shikamaru's eyes widen as he saw his ex-girlfriend. His relationship with Temari had gone south when Temari couldn't stand his lazy ways anymore. She stayed on as Suna's ambassador to Konoha even after the break up. She said she still had a reason to come to Konoha. Now it looks like Shikamaru had found the reason.

"Temari" Shikamaru said stunned.

Temari was wearing a bed sheet around her body and a corner was tucked in to keep the sheet in place. Her hands on her hips and she looked annoyed at Shikamaru being here.

"Yes Shikamaru?" Temari asked.

"Wh-wh-what's going on?" Shikamaru asked.

"Well, Naruto and I were enjoying a lovely time before you had to interrupt it" Temari said with annoyance in her voice.

Shikamaru's eyes widen again. Temari and Naruto, Naruto and Temari. He just couldn't believe it. His ears then picked up another sound. A yawn, a female sounding yawn. Soon a third person appeared.

"Ino" the Nara said.

It was in fact Ino. She was wearing a purple bra with a lacy flower print and what appeared to be Naruto's boxers. He knew this since the boxers were black and had orange swirls all over them. Who else would have those kinds of boxers?

"Hey, that's where my boxers went" Naruto exclaimed seeing Ino's attire.

Ino looked down seeing what she was wearing since had picked up the clothes on the floor at random. She rubbed her fingers along the waistband.

"Oh yeah, I found them lying around on the floor" she said nonchalantly.

"Huh, how come I didn't see them?" Naruto asked as he rubbed his messy blond spiky hair.

"Because they were halfway hidden in my closet, where you threw them last night" Temari said.

"Oh" Naruto said.

Shikamaru was now completely shocked. Naruto not only got Temari, but Ino too. So Naruto, Ino and Temari. All three of them, same bed. His brain just couldn't compute any of it at all. He looked completely dumb staring at them with a vacant look and a slightly open jaw.

"Shika, what the hell is up with you, you look like a complete idiot?" Ino asked.

Shikamaru didn't answer. His brain hadn't even rebooted yet.

"Oh for god's sake. Forget him. Lets get back to bed. It was still my turn" Temari said.

"Hey, no fair. You had more of him last night than I did" Ino said.

"That's because I found him first and you didn't" Temari said with a smug smirk on her face.

"No fair, I knew him before you" Ino pouted as she stomped her foot.

Temari ignored Ino's childish ways and yanked Naruto back into the room by his jacket, which slipped out of its knot. Ino slammed the door shut before Naruto bared all to his lazy friend.

Shikamaru just stood there still unable to get his brain started.

"Huh, you're still here?" Kankuro asked seeing Shikamaru standing there.

Shikamaru didn't answer as he just kept staring at the Temari's closed door.

"Oh them, yeah" Kankuro said seeing where Shikamaru was staring, "it's annoying. They kept me up all freaking night with their lovemaking or whatever they call it. And now I have to go on duty" the puppet user grumbled then left leaving Shikamaru standing there like a zombie.

Gaara ended up carrying Shikamaru away with his sand after finding him since Chouji had come to him letting him know that Shikamaru hadn't come to the gate. Chouji ended carrying Shikamaru back to Konoha with a letter telling the Hokage that Ino was staying behind for some special lessons with Temari.
