Chapter 6

It was odd, not disappointing, but definitely not expected; although, she couldn't have been more pleased with her new familiar as they studied each other. She faintly grinned at the unique site when the beady little red eyes examined her. The white fur was lustrous, and the beautiful little body was perfect in every way. She had not really expected that this little furry creature would be her familiar, but she was excited when it finally spoke to her. Yes, it spoke in the voice of a male child. It was written in the book that he would grow and age with her, so she really wasn't shocked about something like that.

"What would you have me do, Mistress?" It asked in a respectful tone. "I will do my very best to serve you." It declared.

"Oh… I… Um, I just wanted to get to know you better." She answered. "What's your name?" She asked, holding out her hand, and gesturing that the small being should approach.

Eight legs approached cautiously, yet obediently. "Name? I suppose I don't have one yet. What would you like to call me, Mistress?" It asked, climbing onto her hand and perching gracefully on her wrist.

"Hmm, you remind me of a pretty, full moon… How about we call you Tsuki? Would that be alright with you?" She wanted him to be happy and proud of his name.

Tsuki preened happily. "It's a very beautiful name, Mistress. Thank you. You've made Tsuki very happy." He answered joyfully bobbing up and down.

Maria giggled at the beautiful little white tarantula. "You can call me Maria. You don't have to call me mistress." She told him.

"Tsuki thanks Maria." He told her bashfully.

She was happy and pleased with herself for this accomplishment. The book did say that there was a possibility that the spell would fail, and she would have to wait until the full moon, but her magic had been strong enough to complete the task without it. The only thing that was a bit concerning, was the fact that Tsuki did not attach himself to the charm she had chosen for him. Instead, she now sported an interesting, small spider tattoo on her ribs below her left breast. At the moment, something like that would be very obvious if she didn't hide it with makeup or clothing. It wouldn't be so much of an issue when she was older and more developed. She supposed she would have to pilfer some concealer from Ten's makeup collection and order some online later. Right now, she just needed to be a bit more careful with bathing and dressing. Maybe lock her door more often. Although, she could be certain that she would never ever misplace Tsuki. He would be with her everywhere she went.

{She was the most beautiful thing he'd ever laid eyes on. Her roar was strong, her purr was gentle, and her voice was like music to his sharp ears. Her black fur glistened in the moonlight as if it were make of the moonbeams themselves, and her eyes were of the purest of gold. She absolutely took his breath away, just as she always had. He could barely contain himself when he caught her scent as they frolicked in the wild.

Wait… there's something wrong with this. He thought. He sighed in contentment as they finally lay next to the lake and snuggled, grooming each other. If this is wrong, I really don't want to be right. He purred at the thoughts.}

Hidden green eyes snapped open. He'd never really been prone to dozing off mid-day, but as recent as in the last few days after Halloween, it had been happening quite frequently. He felt like he was walking around in a haze, and he'd been day-dreaming quite a bit also. He could only think to blame his mental state on not getting enough sleep and the fact that any thoughts about Kyoko weighed heavily on his mind. He truly wished to do something about his status with her, but how would he do that if it's only one-sided. Ever since that wild chase through TBM, they really hadn't discussed the changes in their relationship that much and admittedly he was a bit cautious and timid about it. He didn't wish to hear her say that her feelings had cooled for him, when his burned hotter for her.

Yukihito wasn't much better off. He'd been carrying a torch for Kanae since the summer, but she was definitely not your ordinary, average female that could be won over with flowers, candy, and sweet words. One needed to be cautious with her or they could literally face some serious bodily harm.

The thing about Yukihito's situation was a bit more complicated than Ren's. His day-dreams were a tad more explicit… Making love under the moonlight in a forest clearing explicit, and every time it came to mind during the day, he would blush fiercely and try to hold onto that tiny thread of sanity that held him grounded just to get through the work he had to do. So essentially, one would find both manager and charge groaning in mental agony throughout the day as they remembered their times with their respective female counterparts.

"Mo! What is wrong with you? You keep wandering off." Kanae asked irritably. Sleep kept evading her throughout the night for the past couple of days and she was not in the mood for Kyoko's antics.

Kyoko's focus snapped to Kanae, and she sighed. She knew if she didn't tell Kanae about the weird dreams, she would get a threat and lecture. She sat on the sofa in the LoveME Section and groaned a little. "I've been having these strange dreams and visions, and I really don't know what to make of them."

Kanae froze a little at the admission. She could definitely say that her's were pretty strange too, but that didn't mean she was going to tell anyone about THAT. "They're strange because you're strange, Kyoko." Kanae jabbed. "Besides, they're just dreams. Right? So why let it affect you?"

Kyoko sighed. "Ah… I suppose you're right. It was too weird for it to be anything but a dream anyway." She giggled. So, why should I worry about it?

"Good, hurry up and change. You promised to have lunch with me, and we don't have much time before your photo-shoot."

~xoxo~

Okay, this was definitely out of the ordinary. He would think of something that he needed and he would automatically find it nearby. Forget having to dig through his office for hours looking for his favorite heart-shaped whatever it was, he would instantly have it near him. He didn't know what was going on, but why question the good luck? Perhaps he should try his hand at that elusive ending on his newest love sim today.

"Ahhh, wouldn't it be nice to have a love sim with Kuon and Mogami-kun in it as the stars?" He sighed out as he pulled out the controller to his game system and began flipping through the game CDs. Hmm, what is this? Love Me Eternally? I don't remember this one. He pondered silently as he examined the neon pink game CD.

Needless to say, after a few hours, he would laugh, he would cry, he would be filled to the brim with moe as he took a stroll through the lives of a cursed fairy prince and his downtrodden princess.
