One Shocking Surprise: Rin Version

A/N: my first Rin one. This one is a A/U I don't remember who gave me this idea, but thanks for it. I didn't follow it to the letter, but I think I got the heart and soul of it.

Minato had a frown on his face as he looked to his students, Kakashi & Obito. Minato thought he should have a bit of a reunion with his old team. It had been a while since they all got together. Especially with Minato being Hokage and all. Kakashi was always on missions and so was Obito while Rin worked on in the hospital.

"Are you sure you don't know where she is?" he asked.

"Positive sensei. I saw her a few days ago when I got back from that mission to Land of Hot Springs. But I haven't seen her since" Kakashi said.

"I've been on a long mission and only got back yesterday" Obito said.

"Alright, I guess we better find her then" Minato sighed.

Kakashi nodded and followed his sensei's lead as the two headed off to find their missing comrade. Obito followed along a bit worried about Rin since he hadn't seen her.

The three powerful shinobi dashed around trying to find their missing teammate. That is until they heard from someone about the whereabouts. Rin was last seen with Minato's wife, Kushina.

"Well, lets go to my home and talk to Kushina and see what she knows" Minato said.

Obito and Kakashi nodded.

They got to the Namikaze compound and entered.

"Kushina, you here?" Minato called.

"In the living room dear" Kushina called back.

Minato, Obito and Kakashi found Kushina sitting on the couch sipping a cup of tea and a happy grin on her face. Now for those who did know the longhaired redhead would think she was just happy. But for those who did know her knew that smile meant she was up to something or had done something.

"Kushina honey, what are you up to?" Minato asked with hesitancy. He never knew what was on Kushina's mind when that smile was on her face.

Kushina looked up and then began to giggle. Now her giggling kind of scared the three powerful shinobi since it wasn't alight airy giggle. No, it was 'my plan has succeed' giggle and that was scary. They left since they knew they wouldn't get anything from Kushina in the state she was in.

So Minato let the way to Naruto's room hoping he was around and could shed light on what was going on. He knocked on Naruto's door since he knew that since Naruto was older he liked his privacy.

There was no answer.

Minato frowned then knocked again. This time they heard movement and then some stomping around. Soon the door opened and what was before them made the three men jaws dropped. Before them was Rin, but not the Rin they knew. No, this Rin was younger. Much younger than she was supposed to be. She looked to be about eighteen if they give her an age. But they were really too stunned to do so.

"What can I do for you three?" Rin asked in a grumpy voice.

She was wearing a short sleeved shirt that was too big for her. It covered her entire body and only ended at mid calf. Her brown hair was a total mess from sleep and other activities.

"R-R-R-Rin, is that you?" Kakashi asked.

"Yeah it's me Kakashi. And if you need some proof then I know that you keep a secret stash of chick flicks at your place when you need a good cry. And Obito I know you like to do flower arranging in your spare time" Rin said.

Now Obito would be laughing his ass off hearing this, but he was still stunned like Minato and Kakashi to be amused. Same with Kakashi hearing Obito's secret pass time.

"What happened? How come you look so much younger? Where's Naruto? Was he involved?" Minato asked.

This questions came in rapt succession and loudly I might add.

Rin backed up bit from the loudness of her former sensei.

This also caused Naruto to awake and he came to the door.

"Dad, do you have to be so loud?" he grumbled as he rubbed his eyes.

Obito and Kakashi saw Naruto. They saw Naruto was just wearing his boxers and this lit a spark of rage inside them.

"NARUTO I'M GOING TO KILL YOU! I DON'T CARE IF YOU'RE SENSEI'S SON! I AM GOING TO KILL YOU" Obito and Kakashi screamed.

Naruto jumped back and hid behind Rin.

Before Obito or Kakashi could move they felt a presence behind them.

"I hope you weren't disturbing those two. They still have much work to do" Kushina said in a sweet voice.

This made both elite jounin shiver at the tone.

Minato turned to Kushina for answers.

"How did this happened Kushina?" he asked.

"Hm, oh well Naruto 'injected' Rin here with so much Uzumaki DNA that it de-aged her to the age she is now. Now I want you to leave. These two are in the middle of making me grandbabies" Kushina said clapping her hands in glee as she said grandbabies.

She then unleashed chakra chains and they wrapped around Kakashi and Obito.

"Oh and boys, I heard that threat you made to my baby boy" Kushina said with a glint in her eye.

Kakashi and Obito shivered in fright since they knew what was going to happen to them. No one and I mean no one threatened or dissed Naruto in front of her and walked away. They were severely dealt with.

Kushina then handed Rin food, energy drinks and pills that helped restore chakra.

"Here you are dear. You must keep up your strength to give me all the grandbabies I want. You two look so cute together. Am I a great matchmaker or what" she said happily.

She then wrapped some chakra chains around her stunned husband and dragged the three away. Kakashi and Obito cried as they did their best to grab and claw at anything as they were dragged away. Minato knew he was in trouble for interrupting Kushina's grand scheme for grandbabies. He whimpered.

Naruto and Rin looked at each other then closed the door. They still had a mission to complete for Kushina.
