Chapter 12
She should be okay. Right? She asked a little worried about her Onee-sama traveling so far away.
Tsuki nodded. Your charms are super effective and she was wearing the necklace you made with it. You also gave her that amulet in her luggage, so everything should go well for her. He comforted his mistress. He knew exactly what she was worried about. How could he not? Their connection was precisely that strong.
Maria sighed in relief. Tsuki was right. She'd been practicing diligently for the past month and a half and had become quite proficient in what she was learning. Unfortunately she had reached the end of her grimoire a few days ago, and still hadn't figured out how to reverse everything that had happened. Well, technically it wasn't the end per say. It was more like the grimoire literally told her she wouldn't be given any more to learn until she matured mentally, physically, and in her power. Her magic would increase in time and at such time, the book would grant her more material to learn. To say she was devastated by that revelation, would be an understatement. The only thing the prevented her from completely despairing, had been her faithful little spider and familiar with words of encouragement and consolation. What more could she do other than just accept it?
"Oh shoot!" Kyoko looked down into the little metal bowl with blue liquid at her phone that was now quickly making its way into the septic system of the plane. Sudden turbulence can be a real bitch. Thankfully she had all of her important contact information recorded in a little black book in her bag. She sighed out. "Looks like I'll need to buy a new phone when we land." At least Kuu and Juli already had all of her flight information.
She sighed out a little groan, then lamented the loss of her cell phone and the miscellaneous little pots of makeup she'd brought with her. No point in crying over spilled milk. She pouted and said a little prayer so that everything would go to its respective paradise in the end.
She took a final glance in the mirror, after washing her hands, to make sure that she still had everything under control. She wasn't sure about the others, but she had become quite proficient at controlling her 'animal instinct'. It wasn't actually something that was controlled by the tides or moon phases. She discovered it was something that was controlled by her. She really wasn't sure what the initial triggers were, but she had pretty much gotten it under control after the first couple of times. The only reason she changed now was due to the rush of excitement and freedom it gave her when she did. She was now at the point where she was learning to tap into those little extra perks without the tail, ears, teeth, and fur.
After she returned to her seat she explained to the flight attendant her little faux pas. Thankfully the bubbly woman giggled and informed her that it happened more often than most thought. Unfortunately, the items in question were probably already deep into the septic system and on their way to being partially broken down unless they were all made of metal or glass. Well, they weren't. Her makeup pots were affordable plastic and her phone was obviously the cheap little plastic, flip-phone number that she'd bought when she'd first started at LME. It was time to buy new anyway. Hopefully Juli and Kuu wouldn't mind the stop on the way to her final destination. There was no way that she would retrieve said items from a situation like that no matter how much they initially cost her. Besides, they were probably dyed blue and water-logged beyond salvage at this point.
"What do you mean she's not there?!" He exclaimed in anxiety. "Didn't she get off the plane in LA, Kuu?" Lory was irritated that he couldn't find his LoveME #1.
Kuu sighed out in frustration. "Juli went to the airport to pick her up and an hour later I got a text message from her telling me that they were going on a girl's trip. Whatever that means."
"Where could she have taken her?" Lory was beyond frustrated at this point.
"How am I supposed to know? She could be taking her to all of the Dayjowey Land locations or she could be taking her to Paris to shop. Who knows? All I know is that she said that it was her turn to spend time with her daughter and the kidnapper could just deal with it." He sighed out.
Lory groaned. "What should I tell Kuon now? He already knows she left for LA and was planning on following her there, but now she isn't even there." He sighed out once again. "Do you know when they'll be back?"
"I told you I don't know a thing Boss. This is all Juli's doing. They could be back tomorrow or they could be back in a couple of months. You know how she is." He told him as he rummaged through the pantry looking for a snack.
Lory was now banging his head on his desk. "There's no way we can track them, is there? Kyoko-chan has even turned off her phone. I have no way of contacting her and the GPS I have on her went out somewhere near Hawaii." He complained.
Kuu furrowed his brow. "You have a GPS on her? Whatever for?"
Lory froze a bit and chuckled a little sheepishly. "She seems to have an admirer that has caused problems before." He explained thinking of the handcuffing at school incident a few months ago with Fuwa-kun.
"Some little bastard tried to kidnap her?!" Kuu bellowed.
"Where did you get that from what I said?!" Lory replied.
"Why else would you have tracking on her?" Kuu retorted.
Lory tsk'ed. "I suppose you have a point." He conceded.
"Well? Who is it?" Kuu prodded.
"Some singer she grew up with. He seems to believe that he has exclusive rights to her." He sighed out in frustration. That boy was definitely going to be a problem in the future if he didn't nip him in the bud soon.
"Ah… You mean that Sho Fuwa kid." Kuu responded in an enlightened tone.
Lory froze a bit. Had the problem really been going on for that long? It would seem so. "One of many." He responded thinking of the additional Reino of Vie Ghoul.

Juli giggled. "Are you calm now?" She asked her travel buddy in First Class as she handed her another Mimosa to drink.
Kyoko nodded, settling comfortably in her seat. "They are going to be worried if they don't hear from me soon." She commented.
Juli patted her knee. "Stop worrying. We'll pick up a replacement phone when we have our layover in New York." She took another sip of her drink.
"Well… At least I uploaded all my photos and stuff to the cloud." She felt so relaxed now that Juli had calmed her and handed her a drink as soon as they took off. Although, she wasn't quite sure it was legal considering she wasn't even 18 yet; however, they did think that Juli was her mother for some reason. It could be because Juli insisted that she call her Mom. She guessed that that was probably the reason they had nothing to say about her drinking alcohol. It kind of made her feel a little like a rebel.
