How Benji manage to grab on X-wing to follow Poe with the permission from the General was a mystery.
Well it wasn't if it pertains to the Solo Charm via observing grandfather's actions with grandmother.
Benji zipped pass Poe "You better not be doing something stupid Poe..." Benji growled. Sure enough, Poe was leading his squad to a suicide run.
"Poe, you have got to get out of there! We can't risk it!" Benji shouted as he patched through. "We can't give up now. We have a chance to destroy a Dreadnought!"
"There will be another time for that! We need to get out of here or lose more men to the First Order. We need to regroup!"
Reyna stared at the fight inside one of the evacuating ships with a worried look on her face. Aunt Rose always had a haunted expression on this date of day. This was the day her sister died and although she was happy with Finn and had kids with him, this day would scar her for life.
Reyna couldn't think of a peaceful world without her brothers to share it with and sending Benji out towards that suicide run made her want to pull him back.
She watched with horror as one of the bombers blew up and her mind went haywire.
Kylo was sitting with Force cuffs on with his father when he heard someone's thoughts so clearly on display. He frowned and glanced around.

"You okay kid?" Han asked. Kylo didn't say anything but shut that annoying voice away. Han sighed from where he was. He wished he had gone with Rey and Chewie to grab Luke's ass back here but the cutting words of Kyle reverberated in his mind.
He wanted to catch up with his son but he had no idea how to begin. He was never good with conversations, that was Leia's thing.
"If there is something you wanted to say then say it straight to my face Han Solo" Kylo's voice cut through the tension.
Resistance members stared at Kylo and while some held their blasters, they didn't draw them for fear of angering Kylo Ren despite the heavy cuffs on him.
"I just...I wanted to say I'm glad your okay kid and I'm sorry"
There was silence for a few moments. Han was beginning to think back on what he said if there was something wrong about it when Kylo spat out.
"Sorry isn't going to cut in for what you and General Organa had done"
Kylo said before shifting away. He will find a way out if this and he will get back to the First Order and destroy the Resistance but first, he needed to gather some intel.
Han frowned and clenched his fists. Their son was back with them but he never felt so far away from him until now. He resolved himself that after this, he was going to have a long talk with him and Leia, just the three of them.

Benjamin wanted to punch someone. No, he specifically wanted to punch Poe Dameron's high end ass to the galaxy and back.
He got out of the fighter and wanted to march up to Dameron when he was tackled by Reyna "This is the last time I'm letting you do something stupid with a half assed plan" Reyna growled. Benji chuckled nervously.
"On the bright side, there were less deaths than the original timeline. The bad thing is..." Benji frowned and trialed off. Reyna sighed and cupped Benji's face.
"Paige knew what she was doing and without her the Dreadnought would still be standing and ready to fire at us"
"We knew what would happen and try to change things. Why isn't it changing everything?"
Reyna turned away and stared at the area around them. "The future isn't set in stone, that's true. But there are some events that needed to be done in order to balance out those that are changing"
Benji shook his head and ruffled Reyna's hair "Would you stop growing up for once?" Reyna struck a tongue out to him "Never, whose gonna reel in your sorry hide when you do things recklessly again?"
"That would be saved for my girlfriends sis" Benji said before a sharb jab to the side by Reyna. There was a commotion when Poe suddenly cried out loud causing Benji and Reyna to turn their heads to the direction.
Reyna got a split second to see Finn wearing nothing but a transparent suit that was to keep him hydrated while he laid unconcious, before Benji covered her eyes.
"Benjamin..."
"Sorry sis, it's a habit"
Reyna snorted "The only habit you have is flirting with almost every girl that catches your eye. I'm surprised Nana didn't even call you out"
"That's because I'm mom and dad's problem" Benji said, sounding very smug about that statement. Reyna groaned before pulling him along.
"Come on, let's go before you start going off where I can't see you"
"Heh...I wonder how Kyle is doing. Probably better than us getting tracked by the First Order breathing down our neck. I envy Kyle, he's got the easy job here"

Oh how I envy Benji and Reyna right now.
Kyle was never a patient man to begin with. Unlike Reyna's patience like an overflowing fountain that never seems to end or Benji daydreaming mind to keep him company, Kyle was more of a direct person.
He wasn't one to wait for things to happen.
"Master Skywalker? Master Skywalker!" Rey called out as she knocked on the metal door that separated her from Luke "I'm from the Resistance. Your sister Leia sent me, we need your help"
The answering reply was "Go Away!" Rey stared at the door in shock while Kyle blinked at the flat response. No wonder Luke said he acted like a bantha's ass back when he self exiled himself.
He's worse when seen in real life.
Kyle thought before walking away and back to the Falcon "Where are you going?" Rey called out as she tried knocking again "Bringing reinforcements which we should have before we went up!" Kyle called out.
10 minutes later and Rey spotted Chewie running hus way up with an angry look on his face that could make a grown man lose 50 years of his life. Kyle was following with a similar expression although tempered down a bit.
Before Rey could even say anything, Chewie delivered a swift punch to the door. The poor door contracted from the force as it was violently pulled off from its hinges. Luke was thankfully away from the door's path.
Chewie let out a frustrated roar as Luke immediately stood up "Chewie what are you doing here?" Luke asked in surprise.
"He said your coming back with us" Rey said as if translating what the wookie said to let Luke know. "You missed the part of the chance of him losing his limbs if he wouldn't" Kyle said. Rey shot him a look to which he shrugged.
"Long story, we'll tell you in the Falcon" Rey said as she turned to move out of the hut "Falcon? Wait, where's Han?" Luke asked as if fearing the answer of Han not with the Falcon.
"The old man's fine. He's with Leia and his son"
"Son? Kylo Ren?"
"Long story. Can we go now?"
"I'm pretty sure there was a reason as to why I hid my tracks. I didn't want to be found in the first place"
Oh how I envy my siblings right now.
