Benji and Reyna were shocked awake by the sound of a Ship stopping and breaking from Lightspeed. "They're here..." Reyna said as she straightened up from her slump position on Benji's shoulder.

"How long have we been asleep?" Benji asked groggy before he was suddenly hauled up on his ass by Reyna as she briskly walked towards the main room that held their father.

"Wha-jeez, Reyna slow down" Benji said, stumbling slightly as he tried to shake the blurriness out of his vision. "I sense so much discordant here" Reyna said as Benji tried to process the words she was saying from his still sleep induced brain.

They entered a room and saw their father being surrounded by a few resistance members with their grandfather trying to hold them back.

"Everybody calm the shit down!"

Han shouted from all the chaos, wishing Chewie were here to roar some sense into this mess. Leia felt a vein pop in her forehead and was about to shout out to the small crowd till her throat went dry when something loud crashed on the floor.

All eyes turned to Benji as stood in front of the remains of a chair before slapping his hands on the table in front of him.

"Normally I wouldn't give a kriff about the inner workings of all this politics and shit stuff, that's my brother's line of work, but while there is a giant ass ship of First Order we are her yelling at each other like children over who did it first to their mommies!"

Benji shouted, stunning everyone in the room, including Kylo Ren. Reyna lightly bit her lip at the frustratedly tired look on Benji's faces. "Unless you all stop squabbling if that guy contacted the First Order or not, we are all going to die arguing. Which is the shittiest way to go"

Reyna felt like slapping her forehead or maybe just disappear off the face of the the galaxy. When faced off with a groggy Benji with a sharp mouth to boot, Reyna would usually see the crowd speechless after Benji's blunt speeches.

"Now I need a drink and another round of sleep. Let's go Reyna, let the kids squabble their way out" A lot of higher ups looks at Benji with insulted looks on their faces while Leia had to lightly jab at the sudden flush on Han's face to stop her estranged husband from full blown laughing at this point. Although Leia herself couldn't keep a small unlady-like snort off her face.

Ren merely glanced back at the crowd before shrugging and following after her still grumpy and sleepy brother but not before gesturing at Han to lead his son out of the chaos.

"Let's just hope that your precious squabble didn't waste a few seconds of our lives at stake"

Benji muttered before they were rocked by an oncoming blast. At once, the Resistance was in a flurry of activity to try and escape enemy fire.

Benji and Reyna knew how this would go and they could only wait and see what would happen and hopefully change something without upsetting the balance of time as they did already with Han's fate in this Time Period.

"Teach me how to fight with this"

Kyle was grateful he managed to swallow the last remaining liquid down in this throat or else risk making an embarrassing move in front of his mother.

"What?"

"Don't think I don't know that you know how to wield a saber"

Kyle was slightly speechless in front of her. He wasn't sure on what to react in front of her and the more he sat on the rock staring at her the more impatient Rey was.

He certainly inherited that from her.

"I only know the basics alright..."

Kyle said as he stood up. Rey eyed him as he grabbed her staff "How did you know?" Rey shrugged "I saw your sister fight with this. I figured she must have learned from someone" Kyle chuckled.

"Someone...she was the best teacher I could ever had asked for..." Kyle said. Rey gave him a confused look "Had...?" Kyle shook his head "She was...well..." A pat in the shoulder made him slightly jump as he turned to see Rey give him a comforting smile.

"I'm sorry, it must have been painful to bring such memories" Kyle waved her away "Don't worry, I got over it. I have too...I have people who-" The faces of those who looked up at him with faces pleading for salvation as many fell before the enemy.

"People who?" Rey prompted and Kyle shook his head "Nothing. No need to worry about it" Rey bit her lip. Wanting to ask more but knew it would only make Kyle close off her.

"So...shall we begin?"

Luke stared at the two practicing moves all day and there were moments that would lead him to think back on his youthful days when his students would look at him with wonder, rapt with attention to his teachings.

But then that would drive him back down to the day he had made the biggest mistake a master and an uncle could ever do.

"Try to keep your attacks controlled. You're wasting too much energy and will tire out faster than my brother during his brawling session with Dameron"

Kyle commented with a grin. Rey huffed and nodded. Luke frowned as he watched Kyle dance around Rey closely.

There was something about that kid that awfully reminded him of his nephew and he wasn't sure he was comfortable with that.

Rey was starting to get slightly annoyed when she couldn't even land a solid hit on Kyle with her staff and unconsciously drew out the saber. Kyle's eyes widen when Rey suddenly threw the staff straight to him and dodged only to roll away when the saber barely sliced him.

He let out a startled shout when the saber accidentally sliced a boulder in two and down came tumbling down the Boulder onto two unsuspecting Lanai on the island. Kyle watched when the two Lanai stared up at them with disbelief as if they could not believe they just lost nearly hours of hardwork.

Kyle winced slightly and sent them an apologetic look but he wasn't sure they could see it judging by how they were still glaring at them.

"Oh my gosh!, Kyle I'm so sorry!" Rey gasped as she dropped the saber in surprise. That burst of anger shocked and lightly scared her. Sure, she was usually annoyed by some things but not to the point that she would want to hurt or maybe kill the person.

She shuddered at the thought before Kyle placed a hand on her shoulder "It's okay Rey, things like that happen. Believe me, I used to have this type of problem" Kyle said as he vaguely remembered being a troubled kid from time to time after his uncanny ability to summon force lightning.

Rey smiled at him and he smirked before he suddenly paled and fell to the ground shivering and gasping for breath. Rey screamed as she shook Kyle and tried to find the source of the problem.

"Kyle! What's wrong?!"

Rey panicked as Kyle continued to struggle to breath. He had accidentally tapped into Reyna's mind, a habit he gained when watching over his siblings when he could not see them or they were so far away.

He was hit by the sudden urge to breath and in horror, found out his sister was floating in space with obvious signs of wreckage from a ship and not far from her was their grandmother floating limp in the vast space.
