Reyna had a horrible gut feeling when she entered the control room where her grandmother was and remembered her grandfather's words about gut feelings being usually right. She had gone off on her own whim when Benji wasn't looking.

The sounds of blaster fire from First Order ships were continuously pelting behind them. What's worse for them is if a squad of First Order TIE fighters would suddenly appear.

"Reyna dear, do you need anything?" Leia asked when she sensed her presence. Honestly, the girl was shy around people but she wasn't afraid to stand up for her friends. It reminded her of her little Ben when he was younger, very shy towards the crowd but very protective of his friends.

It somehow made her wonder why this girl and her brother would go out of their way to defend her son, someone she knew was viewed as a criminal to be put to death for his crimes.

"Um...its nothing, just that I got a bad feeling" Right as Reyna said that something shook the ship that made Reyna almost lose her footing. She spotted five TIE fighters circling the ship.

Poe Dameron suddenly ran inside and looked at Leia for orders "Permission to jump into an X-wing and blow something up?" Poe asked with a slight smirk and Leia waved it away "Permission granted" Leia said. Poe nodded to Reyna before running back out.

"I'm gonna go" Reyna said and before Leia could say anything, Reyna ran out of the room with a determined look on her face. She needed to find a secluded place and get Benji.

The latter part was easy enough when Benji surprised her around the corner, without wasting time, the two headed to a secluded area in the room with a window beg enough for Reyna to spot the oncoming TIE fighters.

"Benji, cover me!"

Reyna shouted as she closed the door with Benji standing guard. She watched as TIE fighters circled past her as she shot her hand put and managed to control one of the blaster fires and aimed it away from the ship but to another TIE fighter. She grinned as she continued the process for another three tries before she knew she was spotted when they began firing at her.

Normally when under pressure, Benji would just let it all out by shooting his blasters anywhere but right now he was at his wits end when he heard shooting right behind him specifically.

"What're you doing here kid?"

Benji almost jumped when he turned and saw Han looking at him weirdly. His father was no where to be seen and Benji thought he was most likely detained somewhere but at least he was safe.

"Waiting for my sister" Benji blurted out the first thing that came into his mind. Han blinked before lightly moving him away "Well we need more fighters up there. I've seen you handle a ship" Benji wanted to protest.

"I can't go-well I can but I don't want to. Not that I don't want to but that I can't cause I have to..."

Why am I so terrible in conversations?

Benji could already feel the pressure he was familiar with when he was about to converse with someone while lying through his teeth.

"Benji, among the three of us you are a terrible liar"

Why the kriff am I hearing Kyle's voice!

Before Benji could even say anything, he heard a loud boom and tripped on his own feet as well as Han. The sound came from the door behind them. Benji's eyes widen as he harshly pressed the door open only to gasp and almost get sucked out of space had it not been for Han to pull him inside and press the door close.

"Kid, you okay?!" Han asked a stunned Benji before the boy lightly pushed the man away and ran towards every window, looking for any sign of Reyna.

Benji was halfway through of jumping into an X-wing and search for Reyna when he spotted her literally just a few meters away from his grandmother that was floating limply.

What the kriff happened?!

"What the hell happened?!" Han voiced out Benji's thoughts as the man stared at Leia in horror. "Screw this I'm getting my wife!" Han said as he turned to find a working ship that wasn't blown to bits.

He grabbed Benji by the hand who let out a startled noise "Woah, wait a damn minute Han!" Benji said as he steadied himself. He knew Reyna can easily escape from the toxic air but doing that would jeprodize her identity and they would have to spill the beans on who they actually are.

And what was more worrying is his Nana's health. Leia was the epitome of a healthy princess but that was when she was much younger than before and didn't have to subject herself to eating "scrap food" in the Resistance.

She is a strong woman but Benji didn't know how long that would last before she would break.

Reyna had a limited supply of air around her and it was getting harder to breath as the minutes pass by. She stared at her mother with blurry vision, feeling the effects of space entering her body.

On one hand, she could stay like this for another minute and wait for Nana to come get her since she could feel Leia regaining conscious but that would also lead to Leia's deterioration of health. Using the force especially when the force user is literally in space would take a toll on the body which would often result to a coma like state or sometimes even death.

Recalling all the things she learned in the Archives, Reyna knew she couldn't let her Nana be forced under this type of suffering especially when she had so much to live for in the future.

Without much thought, Reyna snapped her eyes open and immediately floated towards Leia with a determined look on her face. Leia opened her eyes when she felt hands grab her and stared at Reyna in shock when the girl literally shot her hand out and manipulated the force surrounding the space and headed towards what was left of the control room.

"What the kriff..." The stunned people watched as Benji's sister literally floated to the direction of the control room "Hey someone get the medical droids online!" Poe shouted as he and the others ran to the door that separated the control room and the rest of the ship.

Reyna touched the door and forced it to open, letting out a gasp as pure oxygen entered her body. The force of the space left her feeling dizzy and made Leia pass out but strong arms managed to catch her as she looked up and started straight into Benji's eyes. Leia was immediately wheeled away while Benji placed Reyna onto the stretcher.

I had to.

Benji nodded as Reyna looked at him, pleading with him to understand why she had to do it and with a public display of that should let the resistance members wonder who they are or more importantly if they are friend or foe for keeping this secret.

A hand landed on his shoulder and he turned to look at Poe and Finn with questions on their faces. Benji sighed as he's told up "I'd like to make sure my sister's okay first before I answer all your questions. Kylo Ren also is included in this meeting" Benji said, not looking at anyone but his sister.

Leia woke up moments after. Han was with her by her side with a grim look on his face and Leia wondered what caused him to look like that.

"Han?" Han quickly looked at her in surprise before he sighed with relief. "Thank God you're alright" Han sighed and gave her a tired smile. Leia let out a low laugh before she tried to sit up. "Hey take it easy there princess" Leia snorted. She hadn't heard that nickname ever since they separated.

Still, it was nice to hear it again after years of separation. "Leia, there's something you need to know.." Han began, knowing this might shock her "Yes, Reyna and her brothers are hiding something from us" Leia said, sending Han into a state of surprise but then shook his head.

He shouldn't be surprised at how quick Leia was able to pick up some things most people would find out later.

"Yeah, they said they wouldn't say anything unless you and the kid would be there"

The "kid" he was referring to was of course Ben Solo. Leia frowned at Han's words but knew that in order for the three of them to have peace with each other, they needed to take small baby steps of forgiveness.

"Well then, let's go" Leia said, attempting to stand up "Leia, you just got shot out of space merely 3 hours ago. You need rest" Han pleaded with a stern tone "And I'm still alive and kicking. Now help me up or I will drag myself there!" Leia argued back, stubbornness showing through her eyes.

Despite their old age, Leia never ceases to make Han's heart beat fast like its on hyperdrive.

"Stubborn woman..." Han muttered with a hint of fondness before he led her out of the medbay and towards where the meeting was about to take place.
