The 'Black Assassin' Revealed
A/N: Hi there! I am back! Also with the 'Black Assassin'. Okay, straight to the point! Well, this chapter will be the end of Narraku! Yay! The B*****d is dead now! Therefore, FYI I know nothing about Narraku's death. However, here, it will be by the hands of the 'Black Assassin' i.e. Kagome! Remember, she will be introduced as dark (Meaning behavior) from now on, but only with InuYasha. So enjoy!
After that accident, everything has changed. How he underestimated Kagome. He didn't expect her to kill her, neither Miroku nor Sango or Kaede. Well, they were both angry with InuYasha, but still Kaede thinks that Kagome did the right thing. Because, besides Kagome, only Kaede knew about her dark intentions and her plan. And, she also knew that if she would tell InuYasha about it, then InuYasha would hate her more. However, in the end, Kikiyou would have died by InuYasha's hand even if Kagome hadn't killed her. And now, Kagome's gone.
Well, that's what everyone thinks.
But Kaede knew better. She wasn't gone. Well, actually, half the time, she was here, but only when InuYasha's and his friends were away. And she would ask about them. Then, she would reply, "They are angry at InuYasha, but however, they are managing without you".
This would sadden Kagome more than she was.
But still, they wouldn't take the help given to them.
Because they didn't want to replace Kagome.
Not even from the 'Black Assassin'.
The 'Black Assassin' was making appearances. She would wear a black ninja-type clothes and her face would be covered, except her eyes, which were strangely different from each other. She had a sword on her back and daggers on multiple places, perfectly hidden from the enemies. She would never reveal her identity, even if she came in front of InuYasha. However, Kaede knew, because her body, her eyes and her voice would perfectly match hers. And also, she was the only one who knew about her powers. And, she respected her privacy.
Things were going more than fine.
But now Kagome had to live with her previous group, being somebody else. Many times they tried to check who she really was, but all in vain.
The day of fight was the next week. Inu gang was walking in the jungle for a few hours, searching for the unusual smell of a demon, which also carried the smell of Narraku. They were suspecting that it was the smell of another Narraku made demon. Well they were right. They were following his/her scent, stopping on a clearing between the forests until InuYasha spoke "The scent stopped here." They stood alert, sensing the danger that was going to come.
Suddenly a large ball of solid ice from the darkness of the forest came towards InuYasha. He didn't even have time to react.
Things were going bad.
Suddenly a black and silver blur came from the other side of the forest. It jumped in front of the large ice, making a cross pattern and cutting the ice ball in half, stopping the attack.
Things were going to be worse now.
The blur was a person, with a ninja-like dress, blue eyes and black hair, suppressed by the cloth covering her most of her face.
She was the 'Black Assassin'.
She stood up, and shook the dust from the landing. She then spoke "You guys look enough to defeat one but still I have to save you, don't I?"
InuYasha felt that it was an insult to his team. He just got angry and exclaimed, "Who do you think you are to say like that!" Taken aback by his sudden outburst, Sango and Miroku tried to calm him down, but all in vain.
However, she didn't even look a bit shocked at all. She was still calm, and in the same way she spoke, "I assume you haven't heard those rumors," she paused for some time. It seemed that she was giving them time to think on it, but they later found out why she stopped speaking.
Suddenly she turned back and as the same speed as before, she sliced the ice tentacle, which was coming from behind, trying to take the killing blow. She then ran towards the source-which came out of the darkness-already as more blasts of ice started to appear at the hands of the ice demon. She jumped forward, not too high, and sliced the demon into two halves, appearing as if she has killed the demon. But suddenly the two halves became two different ice demons, one going after her and the other flying over them. She first went for the one after her, which was circling her at tornado speed, making an attempt to freeze her. She then leaned down and closed her eyes, her hand touching the grass below. The grass started to glow a shade of light golden, which then started to burn, like there was fire on the ground instead of grass. The fire spread, forcing the demon to keep a distance from her. The demon then turned towards her, still looking angry, but a bit startled about what happened. The assassin smirked behind her mask, and then ran towards the demon, who was trying to maintain a safe distance from her. When reaching at an incredibly close distance, she suddenly took her dagger out, which started to emit a golden glow, and stabbed at the demon's chest, and the area started to melt.
The demon looked at the melting wound and now, fully shocked, she stuttered, her voice seeming female, "H-H-How?" She again smirked behind her mask and spoke, "Freak of the nature, huh?" Now, the eyes of the demon widened and as she drew her last breath, screamed, "Nooooo!"
The other half part of the ice demon somehow sensed that the other half of her was gone. She looked back to find that she was really killed. She then flew towards the BA (Black Assassin), yelling in agony "You killed her!" She looked fiercer than she was, looking too freaky, but surprisingly, BA looked ready for that.
The demon floated/flew towards her, but suddenly the tip of her sword started to glow. She looked at her, determined and ready to finish her off at once.
While she flew at her—in a very high speed—she turned the sword in a way that the tip of the sword would be on the opposite side of her thumb, and she waited. As the demon came close enough, she drew her sword back and stabbed it on her chest, right above where the human heart would be. The demon started to melt and another pain filled scream—the last scream of the demon—echoed through the forest.
Since then, she had been living with InuYasha and his gang (so called). The gang, many times, tried to find out her identity, but every time, they failed. She was lucky that it wasn't still now discovered, but she was worried that eventually, they will.
She still met Kaede, and discussed a few matters with her, but usually it was short, because in this time, the walls also had ears.
The day of the fight was close. They wouldn't back off now.
The next day, they prepared themselves for it. Suddenly, there was panic everywhere. She sensed Narraku here, and signaled the group towards the source.
While running, she thought, 'Guess who's eager this time'.
When they reached the source, they were shocked, except her, that he was completely ready for a fight. Somehow, her instincts told her to prepare herself a lot before than the original time. So she had done it.
She prepared herself for the fight. She was still a bit nervous, but kept it to herself. She never thought that the fight, along with her last visit, would be so close, but well…it was now, in front of her eyes, and she went for it.
She tried to let him make him make the first move by taunting him, "'Kay Narraku. Ya wanna die t'day?"
Narraku was angry at the comment, really angry. She waited for her reply and she got one. But it wasn't as she expected. Instead, Narraku raised one of his tentacles and attacked her. But she realised whatever he was doing and jumped out of the way.
She ended behind the whole group. They were really shocked at how fast she moved. No matter how many times you saw it, it was really amazing. They never knew when she was in front of them, sword where it looked the best, at her hand.
She then turned towards the group and saw the determined eyes, which told her the truth, they were ready.
She ran forward, the whole group behind her, but who knew that Kagura and (soul taking kid) was here? Even she couldn't sense them.
The whole group, including her, was pushed backwards by a strong force of wind. InuYasha realised that Narraku won't just come on the battlefield alone. But they knew that he had only two people working for him now. All the others were killed by them.
InuYasha told Sango and Miroku to take care of the two, and he stayed with her. He really couldn't let a girl, be it an assassin or not, alone fighting against an angry power-hungry-warlord-like demon.
She ran towards Narraku, InuYasha following her, to attack Narraku. She had already turned the tip towards the opposite of the thumb, or her striking position, wanting to end this as soon as possible. Narraku took out one tentacle and attacked her with that, but she jumped, dodging the attack. He then attacked her with another, but while she was in the air, she dodged, and stabbed the tentacle, blood oozing out of the wound (well, actually…I dunno the color of a demon's blood, especially Narraku's, so you can imagine it).
On the other side, InuYasha was sort of struggling to keep himself up against him. He really had gotten stronger.
Then suddenly she got the fact. Narraku was doing this so that he could finish them off beforehand. So that they wouldn't be completely ready. She was so busy that she didn't notice that.
The fight was going on like a silent fight. No one was speaking, or saying anything. Everyone was like; a few dumb people were fighting each other. Like they forgot to fight.
She was tiring out. Everyone of them was tiring out. Suddenly, he grabbed her in his tentacle. She was struggling to get out of the grasp. Kagura was already killed, along with the (soul stealing) kid, and now they were fighting against the one and only Narraku, without his comrades.
"Now, lets see who's behind the famous mask, shall we?" He evilly grinned before using his hang to pull out the mask, which covered the face and the identity of the now more struggling girl. But—except Narraku—gasped when they found out who she really was.
It was Kagome, just with her eye color changed.
Slowly the tentacle started to glow a light golden, so did Narraku, as he found the tentacle holding her opened a bit, enough for the girl to get out of the grasp. She jumped, landing on the grassy ground with a soft 'thud'. She held her arm out, her eyes glowing as slowly Narraku started to turn into dust.
While it was happening, they seemed completely shocked, not understanding how she could do things like that. InuYasha always suspected her, along with Sango, but it was only Miroku who wasn't ready to accept this. But now, they were seeing this in front of their eyes.
As he could see himself turn into nothing but dust, he could feel his strength, his power, and his life draining. He could only choke out one word, "H-How?"
Kagome, this time, spoke coldly, "Get the answer when you go to hell."
Until a few seconds, he turned into dist, into nothingness. Narraku was dead, and so was her reason of staying. She turned towards them, expecting some kind of hatred, disgust, or something like that. But the shock on the faces surely caught her off guard. But she still kept a calm composure from outside.
She suddenly turned behind, and said one thing, "Now I don't see a reason why I should stay" and went off towards the Well, leaving them in the darkness of their own unknowingness.
