Frisk Pov

some time passed and Marina and I were looking forward to the arrival of Shade.

I looked up when I heard the sound of wings and saw Shade come down and land panting heavily. I notice that he hasn't caught anything

Throbb, as if he hadn't eaten in months, devoured them as if there was no tomorrow. that scene made me laugh a little but mostly I was disgusted by how he eats wildly "but basically knowing the guy what could you expect" I thought to myself.

"Mmmm not bad," he smiled.

We'll see if you like them again in a few minutes, I thought, smiling.

"A custom you say?" Goth asked when Shade landed. "Does it keep you warm?" Shade nods at him and turns to look at the leaves in his hand. He held his breath as he smelled them, took some in his mouth and chewed it slowly. We all waited and Shade glanced at me and Marina with hope. Just as the giant bat swallowed, he looked at us carefully.

"I followed your habit now, kill that squirrel!"

"No!" Marina covers her mouth in terror. I took a deep breath and saw Shade lean towards

I bit my lip as I watched Goth staring madly at Shade, so far the sleeping pill wasn't working and that made me nervous how long it will take to get into action. What if the leaves aren't those? and if we were wrong there are many types of red fogle like those?

I was thinking more and more anxious as I watched Shade get closer and closer to the little squirrel's throat and if by some mistake Shade was really forced to kill that innocent squirrel !?

but my thoughts were cut short when we heard Throbb groan, just before Shade can sink his teeth into the squirrel's neck. I turn abruptly and see him all dazed and disoriented, he falls to his knees.

"I don't feel so good." he groaned.

Goth gasped and I can see he was getting sleepy and dizzy too, his eyes closing. He didn't understand why he was suddenly tired, but then he looked at the leaves that Shade had given him. He soon begins to realize that the plant he ate made his body numb.

He growled at us, but mostly at Shade. As Throbb collapses to the ground completely knocked out.

"You tricked us!" the giant said starting to yawn, but with what little conscience he has left he tried to throw himself at him, but Shade dodges his attack. He growled and gave us a deadly glare.

Marina almost screamed and I was about to drag her away so she wouldn't be attacked.

We both watch Goth raise his claws as he prepares to hit us but stops in midair, looking fainting soon.

Shade flew past us and took Marina quickly. I, on the other hand, walked away when he fell and landed on his stomach. "not this time" I said laughing as I walked away from him and approached my friends "nice thought of the leaves, Shade" said Marina "thank you"

Frisk started talking to him to try to get him to sleep faster
