Chapter 17 the two kings part 1
Third person pov.
Betty had seen Frisk glimpse into the snow and immediately flew to her, praying she was okay, but as soon as I saw her her eyes turned round as flat, Frisk was completely devoid of sentience his body was in a patch of blood that dripped from his arm, "Frisk !" screamed the female running towards her, took her in her arms and noticed that she was frozen, frightened, she tapped her ear on the girl's chest to hear the beat, but in a few seconds she was able to distinguish thumps of the girl's heart
"Fortunately she is still alive", Betty immediately loaded the girl on her shoulders and carried her away with her.
Meanwhile Shade and Marina had led the banded colony to safety, but they were worried about Frisk "damn if I just paid more attention, I didn't know she was left behind" Shade said to himself as he paced back and forth worried, Marina was not. least of all she feared that something might have happened to her.
But at that moment
"Betty is coming back and Frisk is with her" announced a gray wing, Shade and Marina went to meet her, but as soon as they saw the now frozen blood on their friend's arm, they froze completely pale with shock
" Betty ... Frisk, not ... she's not .. "Marina stammered" no ! she's alive yet but she's lost blood and she's frozen we have to keep her warm and dress the wound "" but out here she freezes how can we hot !?" said a red wing at that moment Betty only had an idea, she wrapped Frisk in her arms and later told Shade and Marina to come closer and do the same "come we will warm her with our bodies" immediately the boys wrapped their wings around to Betty and Frisk in hopes of warming her up.
a couple of minutes went by but it didn't seem to work .. when
"uhmm" Frisk moaned moving his head, indicating that he was thawing, the boys smiled to see him, but there was still the wound they had to dab first to allow the girl to recover.

i was in my bat form i was flying to get away from something, i don't know what it was but i knew if i didn't run it would be my end,
as i flew you hear a cruel laugh above me and then feel how something hit me and dropped me to earth, as I got up in pain I saw in front of me the three giant bats of that time now I could see them much better they were two males and one female, the tallest male looked like an adult, had black hair and black lace,
his wings were black outside and red inside and light brown skin with ivory fur, but what drew attention to his body was an X-shaped scar on his chest,
the other male was younger almost a boy my age had long hair and a dark volaceous color the skin was light brown the fur was dark brown, the wings like the first male were black on the outside and red on the inside, but he did not have a beard ,
then there was the female who was looking at me intently with her fiery eyes, she had fiery red hair like Goth but hers was lighter and brighter the skin was on black with a white muzzle the fur was on a pale red almost pink and her wings were fuchsia on the outside and inside. but all three had eyes that glowed bright red like live fire and smiled at me venting black teeth like obsidian
"we finally got you" said the biggest male, grabbing me by the fur "what do you want from me! leave me !" I yelled "uh you heard her she wants us to let her go, uh like I have a say" said the youngest of the group smiling, while the female held me still "leave me! where Chara where did you take her !" I yelled "uh you mean our lady, don't worry about her because you will see each other very soon" in that moment one voce stop they "stop!", we turned towards the voice and I saw it was Chara in his real human aspect staring at the scene with horror "what's going on here!" she said frowning

But what really scared me was how Chara's face got angry his eyes turned bright red, I noticed how the two males smiled and the younger said "you should have been silent from the start and you would have spared this, slow and painful .. death "my eyes opened wide and I looked, Chara was in front of me, but she was staring at me like a wild animal ready to kill its prey.
at that moment the males let me go while Chara grabbed me by the neck and lifted me and then spread his fangs against me, while the three cheered savoring the moment, I closed my eyes waiting for the end, but inside I didn't want to die I did not want to die like this, not now, at that moment I feel a strong fomic in my hands that turned into a discharge, before I realized, I was evoking the fumine and instinctively I unloaded it on Chara thus creating a lanpo of energy that illuminated all with its energy.

together we reached Shade and Marina that as soon as they saw me standing again they threw themselves on me hugging me "Frisk, I'm sorry we didn't know you were behind" said Shade apologizing with a worried look "no it's not your fault" then Marina noticed the bite and said
"it was Goth who did this to you" "he bit me and drank my blood, like a vampire eh" I said sarcastically to relieve the tension "why didn't he kill you?" Shade asked "I don't know, he said something about being his or something else I don't know, at the moment my head was completely blank"
"how you scaped ?" asked Betty, I lowered my eyes and said
"it was Scirocco who saved me" my friends were surprised by my answer

"I guess we'll all migrate together," Shade looked at Marina and I and we all had the same thought about them coming with us.
Marina was the first to speak.

making him laugh "Shade, your ecoproieze was the best you've really done"
"Really?" He looked at me with surprise "seriously you have created an exact copy of a life-size human, even if not everyone believed it, it doesn't matter you saved all those bandaged bats and isn't this already a great result?"
he said "eh I suppose so ... yes it is!" he ended with conviction "see I told you you would get better, little brother" but in that moment I realized what I had said and looked at Shade staring at me, surprised that I called him "little brother" "sorry Shade, I I'm confused "but he smiled at me, but before he could say anything, we heard something jingling in the distance. We all look back and gasp in fear, abruptly fly down quickly and hide under a large rock.
I took a look at how Shade and Marina did. When we see where the sound is coming from, we saw Goth and Throbb flying the jingle was due to the fact that they had a lot of silver bands on their wings. They were the bat bands that Goth and Throbb killed! And they used them as jewels of war trophies that served to vent their victory, but in me and in the boys they only provoked a sense of libel. Marina looked down at her band and it reflected her shocked face.
At that moment I feel a throbbing sensation on my arm was the scar throbbing it was like it knew Goth was here and he was approaching us.
I touched it but at that moment my heart stopped when I heard a thunder on the rock where we were standing, the three of us heard Throbb speak "Are you sure this was their scent?" we heard Goth inhale as the silver bands still tinkle with the wind. He let out a long sigh.

"Frisk, we have no choice but to go this route, my sound map says so," Shade replied. "oh sure but you forget something" I showed my arm showing him the bite scar "Goth almost killed me and I don't think following them is the best idea now" Marina walks up to me and says calmly "Frisk I know you're scared but I promise you everything will be fine "" you are right and then if they have those bands on their wings everything will be fine "I looked at them for a moment it was true the experience in the bandaged house left me with a feeling of real fear this, the expression that Goth had as my blood was flowing as if he was enjoying and I struggling to free myself until I weakened, that feeling still makes me tremble deep inside my soul,

Imagining that maybe my fear had clouded my mind, I didn't think I wanted something to eat, but now that it seems that the danger has apparently passed I feel hunger increasing.
We continue to fly through the woods and the fog became more and more dense the further we went into the forest and in a short time we can no longer see anything in front of us. But it was there that the rattle of the giant bat was heard in the distance.
"It's the Goth band again, it's way ahead." Marina said.
"Well follow, Marina," Shade smiled at her while I kept my eyes open in case they attacked us "I'm going to death, I thought I was smarter than that, apparently not" I thought to myself, giving myself some crazy
"But we still have to be careful," I reminded him. "They have a strong smell of blood that we have to keep at a distance." Suddenly we went to the other side when we heard the jingles again. but it was behind us and then it stops. We rested on a small tree and waited for the sound again but all was silent. A bad feeling was crawling inside me, my heart begins to pound with fear, as we looked at our surroundings.
"They're not flying," Shade swallowed. He looks and used his echolocation three times and I can hear three trees bouncing back. But when the wind blows on us, the sound returned ... and was it right above us? I looked up quickly and my eyes went out, Marina covers her mouth, gasping as she saw the silver bands on a tree branch "shit they know we're following them!" I said almost screaming
In a panic, my friends and I lifted up into the air and began flying without hesitation. Shade was panting heavily and Marina was frantically looking back and forth and I could feel my arm throbbing instead fearing that Goth was alive, very much. close !
Shortly after we landed at the foot of an albereo, Marina lands next to me and Shade, but a few seconds later I saw a shadow overtake us, I jump scared, and I throw myself on the boys to make them stay down, I didn't want them to see us, But it was just a big leaf blowing and reassured me as he caught his breath.
"Frisk calm down, it's just a leaf"
you feel stupid for being so scared for a leaf, I blushed with a little smile at my friends "sorry", but then we heard something heavy banging, my eyes widened again in fear
"That's not the leaf. Those are wings, really big wings." Marina hissed. Thinking they were the giant bats. We are all squeezed into a small crevice in the hollow tree and we hide. Shade looks out and me too, it wasn't the cannibals it was a soldier owl passing through our hiding place. at that moment Marina grabbed us with her hands and without hesitation pulls us immediately to the other side.
We watched as the owl flew away and took off flying in the direction opposite to it.
Soon we stop to rest on a branch a few wing flaps from a landfill and a nearby town and I was perched on a branch and I was looking at the surrounding area but it all seemed quiet thankfully.
when I felt Shade lick his lips.
"I'm starving! Let's go get some bugs,"
"eh obviously I spoke too soon"
"What?" Marina said
he points out where the insects were and saw many mosquitoes flying under the lamp post of the dicharge. Marina murmured and glanced at the opening.
"I don't know, Shade, he's not very sure"
I almost nodded, seeing his point.
"The place is very open. You saw the owl in the forest, I'm sure there will be other dinners and who knows where Goth and Throbb are. They might be somewhere out there waiting for us to ambush us." Shade however just rolls his eyes.
"Come on guys, with all that stuff there are a lot of places to hide." He spread his wings and took off before Marina and I could stop him, Marina and I look at each other with a sigh as I did the same. we both follow Shade to the landfill. While she was feasting on a lot of mosquitoes, Marina only took a few and I only took one and landed on an old maccina to eat it, I bit the center of it as some blood started to flow giving me a slight feeling of pounding "must have pinched someone" I thought while I was chewing piece by piece I finished it, it may seem strange but now it never has any effect on me eating insects, uh if they had told me a month ago that I would have found myself eating insects I would have laughed and said it was crazy now look where I am.

We all went through the landfill while looking for a hiding place and finally found one that looks safe. It was an old damaged car and we went inside. Honestly to me, it doesn't seem all that safe. There were a lot of holes in that car not to mention the broken windows from where we can easily be spotted by anyone.
"Do you feel safe?" Churches. Marina.
"Could be,"
"I instead no" I said to myself as I leaned on the driver's seat while I looked out at the various heaps of garbage illuminated by the soft light of the street lamps and outside there was a dead silence that put the chills
"Shade I hope the next direction is better than this one, I'm getting goosebumps in this place" I said looking at Shade as he perched,
Suddenly, when I looked down, I caught a shadow that passed above us out of the corner of my eye.
"Guys, have you seen ?!" I said with an expression of fear
"What?" Marina asked. I point my finger and they look where I was looking but there was nothing
"maybe you've seen it wrong," Shade said, but the shadow overtook us, making us gasp in fear.
"What did I tell you !?" I said sarcastically
"W-what do you think it is?" Shade shivered.
Marina shook her head and said
"I don't know but, I can't wait to find out." She swooped down and then flew up, Shade and I flew out of the car and followed Marina. About a couple of minutes we stopped on top of a wooden box. We gasped heavily "what could have been?" I asked panting but then the answer came to me when we heard the sound of a small bell.
We look up and saw that Throbb is playing with a bike bell. "Throbb!" I exclaimed in shock as like my friends I was frozen in my seat, when he turned to us and let out a dark chuckle.
"Hola," he greeted us.
Shit! but .. where Goth !?
out of nowhere Goth's hands exploded from inside the box splitting some pieces of wood and grabbed Shade and Marina's feet.
"Hola." He smiles and shakes them hard, making them scream as he pulls them into the box
"SHADE MARINA!" I screamed as I tried to grab Shade's hand but it slipped like butter as I saw them fall inside the box.
But I flinched even more when Throbb came next to me "come here human bat" I tried to walk away but he affection and they jerk me by the arm to make me thunder back, I struggled to free my arm and with the motrai the my bite scar, Throbb saw it and his eyes flashed as if he saw something startling, as did Penelope, but at that moment he was distracted and I took advantage of it to step on Throbb's foot hard making him groan in pain as I let it go. I flew high.
Shade and Marina managed to get out of the box and reach me, at that moment Goth jumped out of the box destroying it which scares me "guys let's break up they can't follow us all three" Shade exclaimed, we nodded as they took three different directions to confuse the two cannibals,
As I flew I noticed how a flapping of wings followed me, I turned and saw Throbb, I know it sounds strange but I was happy it was him and not Goth, while he wanted to hear me call "Wait Frisk I just want to talk to you!" " Yeah, for sure !" I said ironically as we passed over a pile of boxes, asprofito and as I flew suddenly I dropped a box on Throbb who hit him in full, but it was not enough to stop him "wait! Frisk your scar! you don't know what that means! "at that moment my head shook what did that mean? What's wrong with my scar? but I shook my head, no it's a trick he wants to trick me to catch me.
I thought quickly and when I turned to the right of the iron pipes instead of continuing to fly I hid inside one of it and waited for Throbb to pass, it works Throbb turned the corner without realizing that I was hidden, I took advantage of it to look for Shade and Marina.
As I flew I came to a point where there were several broken TVs "Shade! Marina!" "leave her!" we heard Shade's voice scream, before I or Goth knew it Shade grabbed Goth's ears making him scream, I took advantage of it and got out of his grasp immediately, as I flew I noticed Marina approaching me. Furious Goth tried to hit Shade but the boy dodged him.

"King?" I blinked puzzled but they ignore me instead they look excitedly at his partner.
"Wait for Romulus to take these three spies, he will crush them like .. how .."

I see the blue mouse looking stunned and the other two rats approach and look at him by the arms and drag him away. Okay is he that stupid about something or is he just paranoid? I watch Shade and Marina who thought the same.
I breathed as two new mice approached to watch our moves in case we try to escape and I caught a glimpse of a great king catching an insect. The little king notices this and tries to grab it by hitting the insect with the bone. The insect was flying through the air.
"I've seen it before!" The great king wept as he watched his food fall.
"I do not think so!" The little king opens his mouth wide to take him, but the other king pushes him away to grab him with his mouth open. Before the insect entered his mouth, the little king pushed him hard with the bone and the insect entered his mouth. Swallows it whole and bleches.
"Ewww, what kind of kings these two are," I muttered under my breath. So Shade pipes inside.
"Er, excuse me?" He caught their attention and gave a small smile. "Er. "eh there's something wrong" he swallowed. Soon both kings stopped laughing quickly silencing the others and stared at us as the two mice snarled at us.
"You're not going anywhere, Shade and Frisk Silverwing," the little king smiled. We were surprised he already knows our names and Shade almost asked.

"Know your names?" The little king puffs up his chest with pride. "Because I'm the rat king, that's how!" Then the other king clears his throat and the little one rolled his eyes, almost forgetting he was still here.
"Okay," he snorted softly and corrected himself. "Because we are kings, rats."
"Wait, do you two reign together?" I asked and the little one growled.
