Kiss
Elementary School ~ Grade 2
Neither of them knew what got them into doing this.
They didn't even know why they were doing it.
How did this subject even get into the minds of children, who were only eight?
It was the last second decision that caused this.
Which also lasted for only one second.
Their lips broke apart as quickly as they came together.
They made eye contact. It was broken first by Luffy.
She laid back on the pavement and laughed.
She had no idea what just happened, but she felt a little funny.
Usopp shook his head, he was still in a daze by the contact of lips.
His cheeks were flustered red by the closeness of his friend.
But he soon joined Luffy on the ground, laughing at their attempt at a kiss.
"Are you sure that was a kiss?" she asked after a moment.
"Yes. I told you. I get tons of kisses."
"Even on the lips?"
"Well…" He wasn't quite sure how to reply. "When I was a baby, I think. But, I saw my dad do it like that."
Could he call this his first kiss? He felt a bit uncertain since he's been kissed by relatives before.
This was a simple moment between friends.
This was also a moment soon to be forgotten between the two friends.
"Usopp! Luffy!" There came a scream from the teacher, "Just what did I catch you guys doing?"
Am I the only person who tried kissing in elementary? I got sent home, and I don't even remember the boy...so there goes my first kiss.
