The other princesses eyes widened with shock from behind the bars of their cell doors upon hearing the words of their fellow royal. They could not believe what Snow White had just said.
Cadarius eyed the young princess from her cell with skepticism. "Why should I believe you?" he asked.
"Well, I'm sure your servants picked up a scepter when you captured us?" Snow White said.
"No, Snow White! Don't!" shouted Aurora.
Cadarius pondered for a bit and realized what Snow White was talking about. "Oh, the useless doorstop," he said.
"Well that useless doorstop has great power, but it can only be used by a princess. "My 'former' friends and I have collected seven scepters. Each of them is powered by the pure energy of a princess. You could use their power to increase your own and with it, you would be unstoppable," said Snow White.
The sorcerer was intrigued as he stroked his beard. "Please, continue," he said before opening Snow White's cell door.
Snow White stepped out and stood before the sorcerer, continuing her exposition. "Seven of the princesses are connected to the seven scepters. You could absorb their energy and use it to control them," she said.
"Snow White! You traitor!" shouted Merida.
"You all betrayed me!" Snow White said back.
"What are you talking about?!" said Jasmine.
"I tried to keep this team together by showing nothing but kindness, but none of you ever appreciated me. To you, all I am is just a silly naïve girl. A damsel in distress that needs to be rescued. Granted, you did help me when I was injured by that sea monster, but deep down, I bet that whole time, you were thinking, 'what a burden that Snow White is. Maybe things would be easier if she wasn't around,'" Snow White said.
"That's not true at all!" said Cinderella.
"Aurora risked her life to save you!" said Belle.
"Only so she could get the scepter. As far as I'm concerned, you are all dead to me," said Snow White.
Snow's words shocked the very people she once considered her friends, but especially Aurora. After everything she went through for her, for Snow White to say what she said, was a piercing blow, bringing her to tears. But Snow White showed no regret in her words.
Cadarius was surprised at the princess' change of heart. "Well this is certainly a turn of events," he said. "Snow White, are you sure what you are saying is true?"
"Yes, just let me prove it to you," Snow White said.
Cadarius was suspicious, but if there was a chance to gain great power, he couldn't pass it up. Besides, if Snow White was in fact lying to him, he could always destroy her. "Lead the way, princess," he said with a cautious hand gesture.
The other princesses watched as Snow White walked out of the dungeon with the wicked sorcerer. Aurora fell to her knees, feeling more betrayed than anyone.
The weight of keeping an entire kingdom of citizens safe while waiting for a prophecy to be fulfilled was very taxing on Yen Sid emotionally and mentally, if not physically. He stared intently out at the always starry sky and let out a small, gruff sigh. Every day, every week, every month that Golett and the Evil Empire remained in control was more time that he had to spend keeping the citizens from going out of control.
As these thoughts crept through Yen Sid's head, he was approached by Mickey, though he already realized he was there.
"Uh-huh, sorry to bother you, master. I just wanted to see how you were doing," Mickey said nervously.
Yen Sid didn't move, nor did he turn he head, he just kept staring at the sky as he spoke. "Mickey, did I ever tell you about my days as a young sorcerer?" he asked his former apprentice.
"Yeah, like 302 times. Trust me, I've kept a record," Mickey said, holding up a list.
The list showed that Yen Sid had in fact told Mickey his story 300 times. It also showed how many times had told him to not to use magic spells when he's not around, how many times he's told him to clean out the cauldrons, and a reminder for Mickey to do the inventory in the late afternoon while he watches his soaps.
"Well I'm about to tell you for the 303rd time," said Yen Sid.
Mickey prepared himself.
"Many years ago, I was apprenticed under the great sorcerer, Tessu. He taught me all that a sorcerer could know; teleportation, levitation, summoning; he was magnificent!" said Yen Sid.
Mickey was quietly repeating Yen Sid as he went on and on about Tessu's greatness.
Yen Sid continued. "Then one day, my master was kidnapped by a terrible sorceress named Qui. She had captured my master and all the other sorcerers, leaving only me, a young apprentice, to save them. So I confronted Qui, but try as I might, my magic was no match for hers. But then I remembered one spell that my master had taught me; a power transfer spell. However, I had not yet mastered it, but I knew it was only chance. So, focusing my energy, I transferred the power of the other sorcerers to me, which increased my power and using it, I defeated Qui and freed my master and the others. However the spell did take a toll on me as I didn't have much experience with it, but still, it was worth it. Soon after, my master had made me a full fledged sorcerer. And the rest, as they say is history."
On that day, the fate of everyone depended on one, but now it was in the hands of eleven. Though admittedly, Yen Sid had his doubts, he knew that the princesses had what it took to save the kingdom.
Needed to shed off some stress, Yen Sid decided to take a nap, entrusting Mickey to hold down the fort for a while.
Mickey obliged as Yen Sid retired to his quarters.
But unbeknown to the two, Peter Pan was watching from the back, specifically eying Yen Sid's hat.
Cadarius was still skeptical of Snow White's newly formed allegiance and therefore wanted further proof of it. Upon entering the sorcerer's quarters, Snow White noticed the scepters stacked together.
Cadarius turned to her. "So, you say these scepters possess great power? Hmmm. Well, let's see," he said.
Cadarius levitated the scepters over to Snow White, placing them in front of her. He figured if the scepters did indeed have power, then she should have no problem using them.
Snow White looked at the scepters nervously, gulped, then took a deep breath and motioned her hands to them.
To Cadarius' surprise, the scepters all glowed and levitated.
"See? Told you," Snow White said with a nervous chuckle.
Though surprised, the sorcerer was not all impressed, but his attitude soon changed as a bright energy formed around Snow White's body and a blast fired from of it, hitting one of the creatures and sending them flying.
"OK, now I'm impressed," Cadarius said.
"Yes. And the best part is there are more of them throughout Alatar. If just these seven have so much power, imagine what the others may have," said Snow White.
The thought of even more power within his reach excited the sorcerer, though he still questioned Snow White's betrayal of her former friends.
The princess simply restated what she had said before; about being taken for granted and being treated as a lesser in the group, but by helping Cadarius conquer Alatar, she would become something more. Still, she was determined to further prove her loyalty and opted to bring the required princess prisoners to him with the aid of his creatures of course.
The sorcerer agreed and the creatures accompanied Snow White to the cells, but not before Cadarius used his powers to create a new darker outfit for her. Snow White gave the sorcerer a thankful bow before she left.
While Bonkers was teaching Ron Stoppable the art of double takes and other cartoonish expressions, Peter Pan and Razoul secretly snuck towards the staircase leading up to Yen Sid's quarters.
Pan and Razoul made their way up the stairs until they were in front of the door.
"OK, he should be asleep by now," said Pan.
"Pan, this is a waste of time. How can a hat have magic?" Razoul growled.
"I'm telling you, it is magic. I've seen it. Plus, in case you haven't noticed, we kinda live in a kingdom filled with magic," said Pan.
Peter slowly opened the door. From the crack, he could see the sleeping Yen Sid as well as the hat sitting next to him. He opened the door further and scouted the room to find no one else. The coast was clear.
Upon entering, Peter made his way to the hat, while Razoul tiptoed his way to it. Once in reach, Peter inched his hands to the hat. Suddenly, a noise surprised him and Razoul, but they soon realized it was only Yen Sid snoring. Ignoring it, Peter gently grabbed the hat.
"OK, we got it. Let's get outta here," said Pan.
Razoul nodded and the two snuck to the door, quietly closing it.
Downstairs, Peter brought everyone to his attention. "Listen up guys. For the past few months, Golett and his ugly goblins have been bullying everyone in the Magic Kingdom. But now, we have the means to stop him; this!"
Peter showed Yen Sid's hat before the crowd who were in shock.
Miranda stepped forward. "What are you doing with that?!" she asked.
Before Peter could explain, Razoul cut him off. "Well, thanks to my brilliant idea. We can use this magic hat to save everyone," he boasted.
"Hey! It was my idea!" Peter said.
"I don't care whose idea it was, you should not have taken Yen Sid's hat!" said Miranda.
"Well we have to do something! We can't just sit by while that creep takes over our home!" said Peter.
"Peter's right! If that hat has magic, I say he should use it!" said Cubby Gummy.
"Stop it, Cubby!" said Grammy Gummy.
"Magic isn't something that should be makin' tightly-er...taken lightly," said Zummi.
"Hate to admit it, but Zummi's got a point. Besides, we don't know if that thing really is magic," said Gruffy.
"It is and I'll prove it!" said Peter before he put the hat on.
And with that, the hat began to glow. Peter waved his fingers and pointed to a nearby table. A wave of energy formed around the table and the others watched in awe as the table stood on its hind legs while it moved its forelegs like a pair of arms, forming hands, and a sword appeared in one of its hands.
The crowd was amazed, this was the first time they had seen Yen Sid's magic up close.
Razoul shared the same expression as everyone until a snarl crossed his lips. "Well OK. So it has magic. But what good is a table going to do for us?!" he said cynically.
"Hmm, you may have a point, Razoul. I think we should test it out!" Peter said.
On Peter's command, the table stood before Razoul, challenging it to combat. Razoul took out his sword and engaged the enchanted object. Try as he might, Razoul was overmatched by the table's quickness and agility. Ultimately, the table slashed away Razoul's clothes, leaving him down to his camel-printed underwear, before tripping and pinning him down to the ground.
"At least the street rat isn't here to see this," Razoul said to himself.
As the humbled and humiliated Razoul lay defeated on the floor, Peter addressed the others. "Listen, guys. I don't know when the princesses are going to get back. None of us do. Maybe they won't ever come back, but the point is we can't wait around anymore!" he said.
"Actually waiting around has worked pretty well so far. Why fix what isn't broken?" said Ron.
"Our home is the one that's broken! We have to put a stop to this now! Who's with me?!" Peter asked.
"I am!" shouted Cubby.
"We are!" shouted the lost boys.
The table also raised its arms in agreement.
So with that, Peter used the hat's magic to enchant the other objects; tables, vases, chairs, and the plants outside as well as open the force field around the tower. After doing so, he turned to his newly formed army.
"Soldiers! Onward to victory!" Peter shouted before he and his army, along with Cubby Gummy and the Lost Boys, exited the tower.
Miranda, as well as Grammy, Zummi, Gruffy, Kim and a few others were weary of how Peter's plan would turn out while some thought he could actually pull it off. The only thing any of them could do at this point, like they had been doing before, was wait and see what happens.
Feemer, Hey, and the distraught princesses sat in their cells, feeling rather discouraged at the events that had just taken place.
Merida kicked her cell door with massive force before stomping around the cell in anger. "I don't believe this! I simply do not believe this!" she shouted.
"Come on, it's not that bad," Rapunzel said, trying to stay on the positive.
"Not that bad?! Well let's see. We're stuck on this island, Cadarius has our scepters, and one of our friends has betrayed us. Oh yeah, definitely not that bad," said Merida.
"Yeah, it is that bad," Rapunzel admitted with a sigh.
"I'm sure she had a good reason for turning her back on us and talking us down and reducing Aurora to tears," Ariel said, not being able to keep a straight face.
"Yeah, the explanation is she's a traitor! She sold us out just to save her own hide! And after everything we've been through!" Merida said.
Aurora had been placed with Ariel in the same cell. Ariel tried to comfort her as she placed an arm around her.
"Oh, Ariel," Aurora said, wiping off her tears. "Why would Snow White say those things?"
"I...don't know. Sometimes people say things they don't mean or without thinking and it can't be explained. I guess maybe she was angry or upset at us. I really don't know," Ariel answered.
Aurora continued to cry on Ariel's chest. "I thought she was our friend. I thought she cared about us," she sobbed.
As Ariel continued comforting Aurora; Belle and Pocahontas, in their cells, were surprisingly quiet in regards to the situation.
Merida noticed this. "Hey!" she said.
"Yes," Hey responded.
"No, not you, Hey! I meant 'Hey' to Belle and Pocahontas. Also known as the two who haven't said anything!" said Merida.
Just then, Pocahontas sat up and walked towards her cell door. "I don't think we should lose faith in Snow White," she said.
"Not lose faith? Because of her, Cadarius is about to become the most powerful sorcerer in the world, not to mention with us being stuck in here, the Magic Kingdom is doomed as well! Those scepters were our only hope! Without them, we don't stand a chance against Golett!" Merida shouted.
"You think we don't know that!?" Tiana shouted back. "You think I want to be stuck in this stupid cell while Naveen and the others are suffering back home?! We all have loved ones to think about!"
"Well so do I!" Merida said in retaliation. "My mom is captured and my father is being controlled, so don't tell me that I don't have stakes in this either!"
"Well don't insinuate I don't either!" Tiana yelled back.
Rapunzel quickly got in between them. "Stop it! Both of you!" she said.
Just then, Snow White, in her new outfit, arrived with the creatures. "Hello, girls," she said condescendingly.
"You're lucky the bars are holding me back or I'd slash you with my sword!" Merida said.
"Oh dear me, I'm so scared," Snow White said sarcastically before ordering the creatures to take the needed princesses.
The creatures took Ariel, Belle, Pocahontas, Jasmine, Mulan, and Aurora from their cells.
"What are you doing, Snow White?" asked Tiana.
"Oh, me and Golett have something 'special' planned for these girls. But I can't tell you. It's a secret," Snow White said with a sinister giggle as the creatures carried the princesses away.
Even with the magic of Yen Sid's hat, many felt Peter, Razoul and the others were heading into a fight they couldn't win, especially Grammy and Miranda as they rushed into Yen Sid's room.
When they approached the door, Miranda prepared to kick it down, when she was stopped by Grammy.
"Hold on, dear. You have to knock first. Always have good manners," said Grammy.
After Miranda backed up, Grammy proceeded to knock on the door by loudly pounding on it. This caused Yen Sid to fall out of his bed.
Picking himself up, Yen Sid noticed his hat was missing. An angry snarl came across his face as he answered the door.
Grammy and Miranda noticed and put on nervous smiles.
"Where. Is. My. HAT?!" Yen Sid bellowed.
As Grammy and Miranda informed the sorcerer, the said perpetrators, accompanied by the lost boys and Cubby, as well as their army of enchanted objects, marched towards Rapunzel's castle.
The castle had been turned into a fortified fortress with Shadow Goblins guarding the gates and windows and massive elongated spikes extended from each spire and corner.
Despite this, Pan was not intimidated, though the same could not be said for Razoul who was shaking in his boots. With their army, the two approached the corrupted castle.
"Golett! Hey you ugly creep! It's me, Peter Pan! And Razoul! We're here to take you down and save our home. And we've got an army to back us up! So if you know what's good for ya, you'd better surrender or you'll have to answer to us!" shouted Pan.
"Yeah! So come out now! We're...*gulp* warning you...," Razoul said nervously.
There was no response from the castle, however, the Shadow Goblins were more than happy to oblige Pan's request as they descended from the castle and stepped forth.
Razoul tried to keep a brave face, but the bones in his body shivered way too hard. Even if they had magic on their side, they were still outnumbered and he still questioned as to how a bunch of enchanted tables and vases would fare against creatures such as these.
Confidently, Peter drew out his dagger and pointed it towards the creatures. "Alright you giant flying codfishes! Prepare yourselves for battle!" Pan proclaimed.
The goblins soared down from the castle and glided towards the resistance. Peter and the enchanted objects readied themselves.
Soon, a battle raged between the two forces. For a while, both sides seemed to be even as at least a few goblins had been taken down. At the same time, some of the objects were destroyed as well.
It didn't take long for Razoul to turn tail and run with a goblin chasing after him.
As the battle went on though, Pan's forces began to dwindle faster as the sheer numbers and overall strength of Golett's soldiers was too much for even Yen Sid's magic to overcome.
Pan managed to stave off a few goblins, but they quickly overwhelmed him.
Soon, Pan's seemingly formidable army, had been reduced to a pile of broken shards of glass and wood and he himself had been incapacitated.
One of the goblins brought the cowering Razoul back next to Pan who struggled to get free while he braced himself for the end.
The goblins charged forward to deliver the finishing blow when suddenly, they were stopped by a force field of magic.
In front of Pan and Razoul stood none other than Yen Sid who quickly created a puff of smoke, causing all of them to disappear.
They reappeared back in the tower. Neither Pan nor Razoul were used to teleporting and had to gather themselves. However, as they did, they were met with a scowling Yen Sid standing before them.
The turncoat Snow White led the creatures and the princesses down the hall to Cadarius' quarters where the wicked sorcerer awaited them.
"What are you going to do to us?" Pocahontas demanded as Cadarius approached them.
"Oh nothing much, just a little 'project' and you girls are just who I need to help give a little 'push,'" said Cadarius.
"What are you talking about?!" Jasmine demanded also.
"You'll find out soon enough. Take them to the chairs," commanded Snow White.
The creatures each sat a princess onto a stone chair that was set up in a circle and Cadarius magically strapped them.
Snow White gleefully watched as the princesses tried in vain to free themselves, giving them a sinister snicker followed by a sneer.
"Snow White, please don't do this. If you let Cadarius have our scepters, he'll become too powerful," said Mulan.
"She's right, Snow White! Listen to reason!" said Ariel.
"Please, Snow White. We're your friends," said Aurora.
Suddenly, Snow White's sneer turned to an angry grit. "You WERE my friends. You never cared about me. All I ever was to you was a nuisance who kept getting in the way," she said.
"We never thought of you that way!" said Jasmine.
"We would never think of you that way!" said Ariel.
"Yeah! What you're saying doesn't make any sense!" said Jasmine.
"Or maybe you just don't want it to make sense because you know it's the truth!" Snow White said, turning her back to her former friends.
"I don't know what a 'nuisance' is, but what I do know is that you are our friend, Snow White. And no matter how you may feel about us-" Pocahontas said before Snow White cut her off.
"Save your words for someone else, Pocahontas!" Snow White snapped.
Cadarius commanded his minions to bring the scepters and give them to Snow White. The sorcerer stood in the center of the chairs with his spell book in hand. Waving his hand, he chanted an incantation.
One by one, the princesses each started to glow as if bright energy surrounded them.
Waving his hand again, Cadarius transferred the energy from the princesses into the scepters. The princesses could feel themselves being drained, growing more and more fatigued. The scepters began glowing brighter and brighter the more energy was being put into them as they levitated out of Snow White's grasp. Lastly, after another incantation, the scepters combined with one another to form one huge scepter.
Cadarius brought the newly formed scepter to him and held it in his hands. He laughed with invigoration as he could feel the power surging through him. Eager to try out his new powers, he pointed the scepter at his creatures and fired a beam of magic at them. The creatures took on a more monstrous appearance that caused all the princesses, to pull back in shock and fear.
"Incredible! Magnificent! MARVELOUS!" Cadarius chuckled. "You were right, Snow White! And now that I have this power, nothing will stop me!"
The evil sorcerer levitated in the air with the energy surrounding him as the exhausted princesses struggled to catch their breaths. Reveling in his new power, Cadarius exited from his castle to begin his conquest.
"Snow...White...what...have you...done?" Ariel said weakly.
Snow White turned to her former friends with a cold, blank expression. "It's all over now," she uttered before walking off.
Meanwhile, the princesses fainted from exhaustion. A single tear dripped from Aurora's eye before she closed both of them.
The citizens of Fridgum cowered in fear as Cadarius stood before them, holding his scepter above his head.
"Well hello, my friends," Cadarius said with a smirk. "Oh, what's this you ask? Oh just a new toy of mine. And with it, I'm on top of the world! In fact, you might say I'm feeling rather 'hot.'"
And immediately after those words, Cadarius waved his scepter up to the sky.
The citizens of Fridgum witched in horror as the clouds parted, revealing the bright orange sun. They all fell to their knees as the sweltering heat consumed them while the snow rapidly melted from homes and mountains of the island.
But eliminating the cold was not enough for Cadarius. He wanted to experience the full power of his new scepter and the only he could think of to do such a thing was by using it on himself. So without hesitation, he waved the scepter around himself, covering himself in magic. Soon, he felt a powerful sensation in his body. He could literally feel himself being transformed by the power, literally turning into a towering monster.
His strength had doubled immensely and he had a most powerful weapon at his disposal. It was now time for him to claim not only Fidgum, but all of Alatar as his own.
However, as he started to walk, another sensation started to overtake him; a numbness in his muscles. He immediately found himself frozen as if all his muscles had stopped. A tight, wrenching pain seared through his chest as he gasped for breath. What had once felt like strength now felt like weakness.
What was happening to him? Why was he in so much pain? Why couldn't he stop it?
Just then, the monstrous sorcerer heard a voice from behind him.
"It's all over now."
He turned to see none other than Snow White, holding his spell book open and reading from a page inside.
"Return to me that which you took, expel the magic to the book!" Snow White chanted.
"WHAT?!" Cadarius shouted.
All of the magic exited from the sorcerer's body, reverting him back to his human form, and transferred into his book. And with that, the single scepter separated back into the six they had been before.
Snow White chanted another exert from the book. "A block of ice, I command, to freeze you now where you stand!"
"YOU TRICKED ME!" Cadarius shouted.
And with that, a beam of magic popped out of the book towards Cadarius, causing him to be trapped in another block of ice.
With Cadarius trapped, the sun disappeared and the clouds reformed. The cold air returned and the snow fell once again from the sky.
The citizens rejoiced, gathering around Snow White in appreciation.
Snow White blushed in embarrassment. "Oh, it was nothing," she said humbly.
Merida stubbornly tried again in vain to get the door open with her sword, swinging at it furiously. Just then, the door suddenly opened.
"Girls! I think I got it!" Merida exclaimed.
However, Merida's triumph was short lived as it turned out the door was opened by Mulan and the other captured princesses.
They had freed the others and they all embraced.
"Are you guys all right?" asked Rapunzel.
"Yeah, we are now," said Jasmine.
"How did you manage to escape?" asked Tiana.
"We had a little help," said Pocahontas.
The formerly captured princesses separated to reveal a guilt-ridden Snow White, much to the others shock.
"What?!" Merida shouted before she drew out her sword again. Pocahontas and Belle quickly stepped in front of Merida's blade. "What are you doing?! Stand aside! She's a traitor!"
"No, she saved us!" Pocahontas protested.
"She saved this entire island!" proclaimed Belle.
Merida pulled back in confusion.
Snow White walked forward with tearful eyes towards her. "I do not blame you for feeling the way you do, Merida. I wouldn't blame you if you never forgave me," she said.
"What happened to Cadarius?" asked Hey.
Before Snow White could answer, the castle began to shake and crumble. Debris fell from the ceiling and cracks formed in the floor.
"Um, maybe we should continue asking questions when we're not in danger of being buried under a crumbling castle?" Cinderella suggested.
The group quickly escaped the castle before it crumbled away into nothingness and headed back to Hey's hut.
Once inside, the group got themselves warm by a fire as Snow White explained why exactly she 'betrayed' the group.
"You see I decided to side with Cadarius, so I could get close to the book. Once I did, I looked through the pages and found an ice containment spell. I figured that Cadarius couldn't resist the opportunity to gain more power which was why I told him about the scepters," Snow White explained.
"But he couldn't handle the power of the scepters which left him vulnerable," Feemer concluded.
"And once that happened, it was the perfect moment for to seal him in. I figured since the scepters were meant for the chosen princesses, he probably wouldn't be able to control them," Snow White said.
"Well, I must say, that was quite clever, Snow White. Maybe you all aren't so hopeless after all. Well, at least one of you isn't," said Feemer.
"Gee, thanks," Jasmine said sarcastically.
"Your kind words know no bounds," Tiana also said sarcastically.
Pocahontas walked towards Snow White and placed a hand on her shoulder. "I knew you would never betray us," she said.
"I have to admit, that was some clever thinking," Mulan said.
"Indeed. You showed great intelligence, Snow White," said Flora.
"I'm so proud of you, dearie," said Fauna.
"That Cadarius never saw it coming!" said Merriweather.
Suddenly, the gold scepter glowed and floated towards Snow White, landing in her hands, signifying that she had proven herself worthy of it.
Most of the other princesses also complemented Snow White. Meanwhile, Aurora stood before Snow White with a look of indifference. Snow White was about to apologize when she suddenly hugged her with tears in her eyes. Snow White immediately returned the hug and the tears.
"Oh Aurora, I am so sorry! I promise, I'll never do something like that again!" Snow White said.
"Please don't. I don't think my heart can take it," Aurora said with a tearful giggle.
Over Aurora's shoulder, Snow White noticed Merida who wasn't quite as forgiving as the others. Snow White walked over to her solemnly.
"Why didn't you tell us about this plan of yours?!" Merida said suddenly.
"Oh come on, Merida!" said Tiana.
"Snow White did what she had to do to save us and everyone!" said Pocahontas.
"Yeah, give her a break!" said Ariel.
"No, girls. It's alright. Merida, I don't blame you for feeling the way you do. I just want you to know that every single second, my heart was breaking pretending to betray you like that. It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. I hope you know that I'm very sorry and that one day, you may find it in your heart to forgive me..." Snow White said, getting choked up with each word.
Merida remained silent with her arms crossed and turned to the side.
Snow White nodded her head, understanding Merida's feeling, before she exited the hut in tears, dropping her scepter on the floor.
"Snow White, wait!" Cinderella said.
The other princesses and the good fairies turned, glaring at Merida.
"Merida! How could you?!" said Belle.
"She lied to us. She deceived us! You expect me to just forgive that?!" said Merida.
Outside, Snow White hid behind a nearby tree, got down on her knees, and balled in tears at the realization of what her actions had cost her.
