Amber and Luigi followed the giddy space pirate down the halls of the unfamiliar Gamma territory. The halls were painted a bright purple with green flooring(which didn't contrast well in this case.)

"You're gonna meet Omega soon. Just keep your calm and you'll be okay. That's what I was told." The space pirate went on about how you should "stay low," and "always carry a gun."

L sighed. "What are we gonna do?" He whispered, "They're gonna brainwash us!"

"I think I have a plan. Just wait for my signal."

"Signal? To do what?"

"Just trust me. You'll know what to do."

L shook his head.

"Okay."

The space pirate stopped in front of two large doors.

"One more thing I should warn you about is… Sigma."

Amber squinted. "Sigma?"

"Yeah… Sigma is Omega's 2nd in command… except she makes more decisions than Omega himself. A lot of unfortunate Gamma soldiers have died because of Sigma's manipulative behavior, so… good luck." The pirate opened the door and Amber walked in, L following closely behind.

A figure wearing what looked like Alpha's outfit but purple with green outlines and an omega symbol on the back stood from their desk.

"What is this?" They asked, the voice distorted and messy from the mask's effects.

"Two MVP deserters, sir!" The space pirate called, "They wanted to meet you."

Omega held their gaze on Amber, before turning to the space pirate.

"You've finished your job today, go home."

"My shift isn't finished yet-"

"I can improvise, just… leave this room at least."

"O…okay." He shut the doors.

"Now…" Omega's helmet automatically removed itself. Amber tried her best not to look surprised when she saw a beaten-up version of her own face under it. "We're all alone."

L gasped.

"How…"

Omega took a long sip of her coffee, before smirking at Amber.

"What a strange predicament, huh? Two MVPs appear, claiming to be deserters. Not only that, but one, a spitting image of me! And, as if that weren't weird enough, it turns out my two favorite guys call in, claiming they've found clones of themselves. That's no coincidence, if I've ever seen one…" Omega held out a freshly made cup of coffee. "Decaf, anyone?"

Luigi took it, shakily.

As he pulled down his mask to sip the beverage, Omega squinted.

"And, as it turns out, Luigi, of all the people, is a deserter?"

Luigi blanched.

"Uhh…" He panicked to find the right words for the situation.

"Tell me, dear." Omega walked up to Amber, getting close enough to where the nauseating smell of blood on the suit she wore was potent. "Are you two really deserters? Or is there something else I should know?"

Amber pulled herself together, then answered.

"We… aren't really deserters."

Luigi nearly spat out the coffee upon hearing that.

"Oh, is that so?"

"We are, however, here to kick your ass!" Amber swung her fist into Omega's face… or tried to. Turns out, Omega read that move and the mask put itself back on, letting Omega swiftly maneuver Amber into a chokehold.

Luigi pointed his gun at Omega.

"D-don't move, or I'll shoot!"

A gun cocked behind Luigi.

"Go on, fire!" Sigma jeered.

Luigi slowly lowered his gun to the floor and raised his hands.

"Sorry." He whispered.

"You're resilient." Omega mumbled. "But that's nothing to my superior mind. Sigma, take them to be executed."

Sigma interjected, quickly.

"Well, how about this idea-"

"Sigma. You had orders." Omega snapped.

"Yes, but what if we made them new recruits, do the mind-wipe thing on them?" Sigma suggested.

"Sigma, we can't keep turning people into Gamma recruits, even if we DO need them!"

"Omega, you do all you can for this raggedy rebellion. But we're still vividly outnumbered by MVPs! At least we'd be cutting them down to size if we turned their recruits into ours. It's only common sense!"

Omega, after a long pause, waved her hand.

"FINE. But I need you to make sure they're wiped as soon as possible. There's already rumors of an MVP spy floating around, and he'd probably break them out at any moment… So make it quick!"

"Aye-aye, ma'am!" Sigma cuffed the two and led them out.

Sigma, as Amber paid close attention to, also wore an Alpha mask and a blue hoodie with a golden Σ on the back. During their walk of shame, Sigma began to chat.

"Do you want to know a cool secret, since it's just gonna get wiped anyway?"

Before anyone could give some kind of input, Sigma continued.

"I'm Omega's mother. Poor girl can't take two steps without me." Sigma laughed, "It's funny. You might suspect that I'm trying to overthrow her… you'd be wrong. I'd never do that to my girl."

After a long silence, Sigma began to speak again.

"If you're Omega's weird doppelganger… how come you didn't last two seconds? I mean… you two should be the same, right? Maybe you're from the disgraceful dimension." Sigma guffawed at her own words.

Amber scowled, but held her tongue as she didn't want to get shot.

Sigma reached a cell and tossed the two inside.

"Okay. You two sit tight until that long line in front of the machine shortens itself. Chao!"

MVP: Alpha Suite…

Michael(or Alpha, but we'll call him Michael,) leaned up, carefully. He felt the soft sheets under him and almost went back to sleep. Before he could, an MVP burst into his room.

"He's awake!" They whispered.

"Good morning." One MVP greeted, "Alpha wants to see you."

Michael squinted.

"Alpha…?" He rubbed his temples, and looked around. He felt his body for a second. No visible scars. "I'm… I died… how am I here?"

Before he could answer his own question, the MVPs had already dragged him out of bed and began walking him down the hall.

They reached Alpha's room and practically threw Michael in, slamming the door behind him.

Michael took two steps forward, before a spitting image of himself several years ago turned to face him in a swivel chair.

"They weren't lying when they said they'd found my weird clone…" He gasped, "Come over here."

Alpha took off his mask and compared the reflection of his handheld mirror to the "clone" in front of him.

"It's like we're the same person." He mumbled.

Alpha stuck his hand out.

"The name's Michael."

Michael(OUR Alpha,) shook it.

"Same here."

"This must be really confusing for you. Allow me to explain what we know thus far."

Alpha took a stack of papers from his desk and sighed. "This seems to be a situation involving different dimensions. We already knew about other dimensions, but never knew how to travel between them. One thing we did know, interestingly enough, is that you're from the Alpha dimension."

"Alpha dimension…?" Michael scoffed, "Is this some sort of joke?"

"As much as I want it to be, no. It's not. And we're in terrible danger if Gamma recruits from your dimension slipped through when that weird portal opened. Anyway, the only reason your dimension is labeled the Alpha dimension is because you've beaten Gamma already, which is-"

"I don't mean to be rude or interrupt, but… How do you know all of this?" Michael asked, clearly interrupting.

"Well, one day, a rift opened. Like somebody literally broke the fabric of reality. We closed all of them but one- which everyone has access to. We sent drones through and, as it turns out, it was from YOUR dimension… which dated back and forward way longer than ours did…"

Alpha removed his mask and shook Michael's hand again.

"Seriously pleased to finally meet you."

"This… makes no sense." He thought aloud. "I shut that rift, and it shut all over the multiverse, how did it not close for you?"

"I have no idea. Any more questions?"

"Yes, a lot."

"Well, too bad, we've gotta find a way to get you home!"

Michael's face lit up.

"Did anything else besides me and whatever Gamma recruits fall through?"

"Haven't gotten any reports yet, if they did." Alpha replied, checking through the papers again.

Michael glided to Alpha's computer and pulled up the database.

"If you don't mind, I need to check something."

Alpha put his mask on and buttoned up his suit.

"I do mind… but it seems like you've already begun helping yourself."

After finding the files he wanted, Michael jumped from the seat.

"Where's the nearest comms system? I need to make a call."

Meanwhile…

Simon opened his eyes to Amber, poking him.

"Hey! Simon! You did it!"

Simon leaned up, quickly.

"What?! What did I do?"

"You brought everyone back!"

Alpha stood a few feet away.

"And some of us are very grateful. I might have to see through with this… relationship of yours…"

Simon gasped.

"I… did it?! I did it!" He jumped to his feet. "Where are the others?!"

"They're in the back."

Simon ran back and saw the team, taking away Billy and Travis.

"Hey, Simon! You did it!" L called.

"WE did it," Alph corrected, "we helped too!"

Simon sighed in relief.

"I must have had a weird dream." He told himself, remembering how far he'd fallen in said dream, "...even though it was oddly real…?"

"You did it." Someone grunted, "You did it, alright."

Simon turned and saw Cleats and his posse, looking pissed.

"You just had to."

"What?"

"You risked everything. And look where that took us."

Before Simon could go "What?" again, he blinked and everything looked cheery again.

"It led us to do what's right. I'm proud of you." Cleats shot Simon a thumbs-up and turned around.

"Now, if you'll excuse us…"

And they left.

Simon went over said thing in his head, before shrugging it off and walking away with Amber and the team.

Man, what was that? That can't be some sort of OTHER dimension, right?

MAN, Omega is AMBER?! What a plot twist! Looks like they'll need a miracle to escape being brainwashed into Gamma soldiers!

And one more thing! For your comfort and my not-getting-confused-ness, any character from this dimension will have Beta before their name- hence the BETA dimension.

The Beta Dimension is also what I like to call the first ever draft of the MVPs, when I wasn't as good a writer. I kept the idea in my head and eventually made it another dimension. If you really want a cool fact, every character has a doppelganger(and all(or most) of them will star in this season!)

So see you then, when we meet some more cool peeps!
