When Naruto arrives at the tree he pants trying to catch his breath. "Please tell me this is some messed up nightmare and that I'm gonna wake up soon and everything is gonna be okay?!" Naruto asked himself out loud. "Heh you wish it was a nightmare Kikyō." Naruto hears a male voice making him look up and was shocked to see that the boy with dog ears was awake and alive.
Naruto could hear Mistress Centipede not that far from him making his blood go cold. "So you playing with bugs now huh Kikyo? Come on why don't you kill that monster just like you did to me." Inuyasha tells him with a smirk on his face as Naruto clenches his fists and starts to feel annoyed. "I'm not Kikyō I don't know who she is but I'm not her since I'm a boy and my name is Naruto!" He yells at him making Inuyasha glare at him. "What are you talking about of course you're..." He then smelled him and realized that he was indeed not her even though his blood smelled like Kikyo he wasn't her.
"You're not her." He says to him making a tic mark appears on Naruto's forehead. "That's right I'm not I'm Naruto Uzumaki...N-a-r-u-t-o." He tells him spelling out his name to him so he gets the idea. Inuyasha scoffs and moves his head away from him. "Yeah you're right, Kikyo was way more cuter." He says to him making Naruto grind his teeth feeling truly annoyed. "Why that little!" Naruto thinks to himself as he began to think of several different ways of killing Inuyasha slowly and painfully.
Mistress Centipede then grabs Naruto whom yelps and holds onto Inuyasha's hair for dear life making him say ow repeatedly. Kaede and the others then arrived as Kaede was shocked to see that Inuyasha was awake and alive once more. "Cut it out!" Naruto yells out and aims his hand at her as he blasted her away from him temporarily subduing her as his chest begins to glow but then she grabs Naruto and cuts him open making a strange round jewel come out of his body.
"Wait is that a jewel? Was that...what the crazy Centipede lady want?" He thinks to himself as she wraps her body around him and Inuyasha. "Ahh yes finally the jewel is mine." She says and swallows it and her body begins to change and she looked stronger now and she begins to crush Naruto by wrapping her body around him as he stands in front of Inuyasha wincing in pain. Inuyasha looks at the boy and then at the arrow. "Hey do you think you can take the arrow out of my chest?" Inuyasha asked him making Naruto look at him. "If I do will you help us?" Naruto asked him since he knew he wouldn't be able to beat Mistress Centipede by himself.
"Nay child, if you free Inuyasha he will destroy us all!" Kaede tells Naruto making Inuyasha smirk at her. "Hate to break it to you hag, but if you don't do anything soon then that thing is gonna eat you all." Inuyasha tells her as Naruto thinks very carefully. "Well I guess I'll just have to take a gamble here." Naruto says and pulls the arrow out of his chest freeing him from the spell that bind him to the tree when he was freed he smirks at the centipede like demon and moves in a very speedy manner as he begins to attack her. "Iron Reaper Soul Stealer!" He shouts out and ends up slicing her up into tiny pieces.
After she was taken down Naruto goes over to her remains. "Naruto quickly remove the jewel from her remains." She instructs him making Naruto look around but then he found something glowing from the remains and removes the jewel from it as he stares at it. "Wow who would ever guess that such a tiny jewel can cause so much trouble." Naruto thinks to himself. He was about to hand it to Kaede again but she refused. "Only ye may possesses the jewel and keep it safe." She tells him as she looks at him. "Ye whom is the reincarnation of the late Kikyō." She thinks to herself as Naruto was shocked at this while he stares at the jewel in his hands. "Only I can? But how did it get inside my body? Why would I have a jewel wanted by demons?" He asked her curiously as Inuyasha walks towards him stomping on one of the Mistress Centipede's bones.
"Exactly, humans can't use it so why bother to keep it? If you hand the jewel over right now I won't have to start sharpening my claws on my claws on you." He threatens Naruto while Kaede stands in front of him protectively shocking Naruto as he couldn't help but just wished that today could of been a normal day.
