It felt weird to be entirely honest... ever since we found it was just her and myself left in this world as immortals... it was always me listening to her about problems that had transpired... but for once Luna was the one listening to me. It also honestly unnerved me to no end as doing this was entirely new to me. Once I finished the retelling of what had transpired I almost wondered what was going on in her head. "sister what made you think it was a good idea to hide it from her in the first place?" she then asked with a stoic expression on her face.
"Luna I have told you of what has transpired... I need your help to find her!" I quickly spoke as I knew the tale I had told her of was one that no doubt took a large amount of time to retell as she had asked for every little detail.
"sister I need you to answer the question." she then spoke up. "if the guards couldn't find her in the city then we have time." she then added quite seriously as I was confused at the sudden change in my sister. Knowing it would be faster to just answer her then argue with her I quickly came up with an answer.
"because I believed she wasn't ready to know of what was occurring to her. I believed that by not letting her know I could-"
"I'm going to stop you there dear sister." I was shocked, to be honest. "could you please re-say what you were saying." I gave a small sigh of annoyance.
"because I believed she wasn't ready to know of what was occurring to her. I believed-"
"once more repeat what you said, sister." I glared at her as she remained stoic before doing as she wished.
"because I believed she wasn't ready to know of what was-"
"again sister..."
"what are you having me do Luna?!" I yelled as magic flowed around me showing my anger. "because I can not see it nor the reason why!"
"one... last... time sister." she then spoke still void of all emotion. Calming myself down I once more began to say the reason as to why.
"because I believed she wasn't ready to know of-"
"stop." I once more glared at her and was ready to yell once more. "take what you said... and lose the last three words."
"because I believed she wasn't ready..." I then spoke through gritted teeth still wondering why all this was happening.
"Good... now, sister I only have one question for you... do you believe she wasn't ready? Or was it truly you that wasn't ready?" I sat there shocked at her question. "because quite frankly sister all evidence doesn't point towards her not being ready... it's you."
"sister..."
"let me speak Celestia. Since she has become your lover have you noticed anything different about her?" now that I think about it there has been some change. But I merely believed it was because she was getting used to being around me. "from what I've seen she has changed herself to be more mature whenever she is around you."
"But why? She shouldn't have to change herself." I questioned out loud.
"because she doesn't want you to see her as the clumsy idiotic Mail Pony."
"Lulu!" she simply continued despite my outburst.
"she doesn't know why you love her to be honest so she is making assumptions as to what could make you lose interest in her... and is trying to fix them. With this new maturity of hers, I believe she is ready to learn what is happening to her. But honestly, sister do you believe you are ready to tell her?" I began to think back on when I first found out what had occurred and what was happening. As I thought through what has occurred since then... I contentiously saw myself realizing something that I had missed entirely.
"I should have told her sooner..."
"you should have..."
"I should have noticed the changes..."
"you should have..."
"I have to fix this."
"then go fix it, sister."
"We have to find her first sister! None of the guards can locate her in the city and I have dispatched air patrols and guards outside of the city to find her." I quickly spoke up as the situation once more made itself known in my head.
"you have had the entire city searched?" she began to question.
"correct."
"the castle?"
"just as well... if I believe correctly there are search parties for the few guards who have gotten themselves lost in the castle." she gave a small chuckle.
"sister from what I remember her wing is hurt so she can't fly and you most likely have the Train Station guarded... that only leaves one option that very much surprises me on how you could have forgotten," she spoke with a chuckle as I pondered what she was saying... before noticing a pillow floating next to me as I found myself shocked... and extremely worried as I stood up and began to slowly back up.
"I'm a fool..." I then turned around and quickly trotted out of the room as I heard my sister's voice echo through the hall from behind me.
"good luck sister! I would help but this is your mess to deal with!"
rushing through the castle I came across Golden Heart. "your highness I am here with a report on the sear-"
"prep some unicorns to search the castle for a magic signature similar to my own." he looked shocked at the request but quickly regained his professional stature. "yes your highness. Might I ask what we are looking for?"
"magical discharge most likely caused by high emotional stress and compare it to that of a highly gifted unicorn foal... should nothing come up have the teams search through the city. Have yet another team go through the castle and search for any signs of magic not usually used within the castle. With the exclusion of cleaning charms and levitation I want to know every single unique spell cast in this castle and where it was located..." he looked shocked at the tall order. "Captain... I know you have questions but before you answer I want to give you a small piece of knowledge as well as a plead... find her... please... bring me back the one I love alive and unharmed... bring back your newest princess of Equestria."
