"So what's behind this door?" I asked the orb that floated next to me.
"Answers."
"anything else?" I then asked.
"Answers."
"and?"
"Answers."
I gave a small sigh as I looked at the very old looking door that appeared to have the same symbol much like what appeared to reveal the staircase. I couldn't help but feel uneasy after all that has happened. Seeing the orb do nothing to the door I figured there was nothing spectacular that was supposed to happen for the door to open... so I decided to walk over to the potentially dangerous door and gave it a hard push... only to slip on the dust layered floor as the door refused to budge. Rubbing the bottom of my jaw I simply began even more attempts to open the door all ending the same way just about...
with me slipping and falling due to the floor. I was about to charge straight at the door when I finally realized something and reached out to grab it. Before pulling the rusted metal ring and finding the door pulling open instead of pushing. A large blush made itself known on my face as I was very glad nopony saw what had just happened and I had to jump back as the orb rushed itself inside. "rude!" I muttered as I followed it in only to be enveloped in darkness as the door behind me closed. The only light coming from the orb as it appeared to be freaking out in the room.
"Hey watch it!" I yelled as I ducked under its rather fast movement. "what the buck is wrong with you?!" I yelled as it continued its rapid movement... before it just suddenly stopped about 10 feet away from me. Confused on what was happening I watched as it slowly lowered itself down before it began to like, phase, into the floor. Starting to get very scared of something hiding in the shadows waiting to jump out and pounce on me... before blue lines started to appear on the ground in weird intricate ways as the room began to lighten up with more and more of them appearing. They seemed to start to converge up towards the ceiling.
I watched in all as they all also converged in the middle of the large room and seemed to defy physics as they all stopped at the same point only to reveal a large crystal chandelier which proceeded to temporarily blind me. Covering my eyes I waited a few seconds before lowering my hoof... and became open-jawed at the sight. "woooooow!" I couldn't help but speak out as my voice echoed through all the rows and shelves of books and what looked like old equestrian scrolls. While the rest of the castle appeared to be ruined... here was a much different matter entirely.
It looked much like Canterlot castle does with all the perfect marble and banners. Red marble appeared to be the replacement for carpeting as I walked along the floors. Blue marble pillars with golden rings at the top, bottom, and middle lines the sides between the red marble and the shelves. I couldn't tell what type of wood was in here as for one it didn't look like anything we had in Ponyville and two... I don't know wood in general.
"answers..." I jumped backwards as the orb I was following earlier appeared to just come up out of thin air.
"holy!" I yelped as I landed on my flank. "don't do that to a mare will ya!"
"answers."
so back to this game... sighing I watched as it began to float past what appeared to be a desk and up a small flight of stairs. Quickly rushing after it as it moved faster then it did when it brought me to the first stairwell. Soon though it ended up stopping in-between some shelves as I stopped to catch my breath. "why... are... we... here?"
"answers." and that broke the dam.
"answers!" I yelled at the orb in anger. "that's all you keep saying! For all, I know your definition of answers is different from my version! For all I know yet again you could have simply used my situation to bring me to yet another situation to foalnap me! So please tell me why I'm here?! Cause all I wanted to know is why all this was happening to me!" tears were on the borders of my eyes as I finished my rant with one final sentence in a low saddened tone. "why did all of this happen?" I fell onto my side as my emotions ran rampant throughout my mind and made themselves known on my body as well as I simply broke down crying... "I just want to bucking know..."
I stayed there for who knows how long as I could... before finding myself scared at what I heard next. "I believe that can just as easily be answered..."
