Recognizing the room, we were now in as the one I previously had tea with the princess in before we found the doctor being served tea by one of the maids. Spotting us she quickly used her magic and poured two more cups for both me and the princess. After being served she bowed to the princess and then left the room. As I let my own sit for a small bit to let it cool down slightly both the princess and the doctor took a sip of their tea. "Ah… a blend of Appleloosa I see." The doctor spoke up.
"Yes… I find it is quite good for calming the nerves which I feel we all need right now." The doctor nodded as I blew on the tea and then took my own sip… feeling the same feeling that was being described as I felt my own worry melt away with the heat and taste of the tea. "What do you think?" realizing she directed this question to me.
"It tastes quite now… and the feeling I get from it is quite like when I'm melting away the cold during the winter with a warm cup of hot chocolate." They both chuckled before Doctor Surge got a serious look on his face. "Now let's talk business… I wish it didn't have to come to this Miss Hoove's but unfortunately there is no other choice."
"Its… alright." I answered him as he gave a nod. "So… what's going to happen to me then?"
"I have requested a team of ponies to go refurbish and repair an old vacation home of my sister and I. it should still be in good enough condition to be fully repaired in 3 days. It will also give me enough time to locate guards I can trust fully for this endeavor. I might need to bring my sister into the fold to assist with the screening."
"And I have sent off messages already to start doing the same. Although I do wish to ask where exactly this place is." The doctor calmly asked as I simply sat to the side and simply began to listen intently.
"It is out on the coast in-between Fillydephia and Baltimare." The princess quickly responded. "I used to use it a long time ago but was unable to return to it as my duty could never be put on hold for too long. I couldn't trust the nobles to do what was best for Equestria."
"So, are you thinking of going with her?" he then asked as I perked up mid drink.
"I do plan on spending time with her during this time… but it won't be for a few weeks at the least."
"You don't need to worry about me too much." I spoke up as they both turned to look at me. "I know you are still helping princess Luna adjust to today's society."
"She will do fine in my absence. She will have my most trusted aid and my dear niece with her to help and she will be able to message me at anytime with questions… although I do still need to talk to her about this arrangement." Doctor Surge sighed as I looked towards her.
"You should kind of get her approval before making these kinds of plans…" I then spoke up.
"You are… not wrong. I'm just worried about leaving you alone during the beginning of this." She had a concerned look on her face as the doctor remained silent. "I just…"
"I think I can survive at least one month on my own… granted there will be the magic specialists and guards from what you say I think I will be alright… besides you have a country to rule over. You shouldn't rush these kinds of things."
"Once again you are correct… are there any other things we need to discuss doctor? I wish to go and see my sister about this."
"Simply going over expectations concerning what's going to be happening during these couple months as well as a couple restrictions. I might possibly have a small talk with her concerning a couple other matters to determine which specialists I should recommend." She nodded in response. "Also please remind your sister she does have an appointment with me in two days…" the princess gave a small chuckle.
"She just doesn't seem to like doctor's visits does she. I will remind her… and most likely be the one to escort her over just in case." The doctor nodded as Celestia stood up and walked over to me and quickly giving me a kiss on the cheek. "I will return once my talk with my sister is complete as I am guessing the talk in here will be much longer than my own."
"Alright… have fun talking with your sister." And with that she leaves the room leaving me with the doctor. We simply sat in that room and continued to sip our tea in the silence before… it got a bit much for me. "So… restrictions?" I then asked him.
"Correct." He answered after taking a sip. "Now you must understand that during this time you need to restrict how much magic you'll use."
"But I don't even know how to use magic." I then spoke up.
"Which is why you are also going to be learning."
