As the princesses sat down next to me a couple servants came in and quickly got our orders before princess Celestia spoke up. "Now then Derpy I realize now might be a good time to discuss with you of a couple things." I looked towards her giving her my full attention. "First is that my sister has agreed to rule in my absence one I am able to leave once the delegates leave." I nodded as I knew why they were here as the guard I was talking to explained to me in detail about why delegates were arriving. "The second concerns you having a personal guard." I looked at her in shock.

"But!" princess Luna quickly interrupted me.

"You will need them at least for the beginning of everything. The nobles will want to do what they can to discredit you due to who you are and the fact there will possibly never be a chance they can takeover should anything happen to us." She explained as I started to become very concerned for myself in the future.

"The most they would be is very vocal Luna. They haven't been like that since a few years after you were banished… I was very… vocal and physical after you were banished for a time… I still regret the few things I did when I wasn't in my own right mind… especially to those who spoke ill of you." Luna looked worried yet also had a look in her eyes that I couldn't seem to place.

"Regardless of that bundle of information, which we will talk about at a later time sister, you will need a personal guard especially when the nobles find out about your…" she looked around and seeing nopony else was in here with use she quickly continued. "Situation with my sister. There are still ponies out there who are against same sex relationships and most of them will be found here in Canterlot… and from what I have seen they can be quite… extreme in some cases."

"Then we will do what we can to stop them." Princess Celestia spoke up. "But we will need a guard to be able to protect you when we are investigating anything that happens."

"But who would be willing to protect me with all the damage I tended to cause whenever I visited Canterlot?" I then spoke up in a solemn tone.

"Which you haven't done in a long time." Celestia spoke up in a proud tone. "It could be reasoned that it was never truly your fault to begin with but even then. What of the guard you were speaking with before we arrived?"

"Um… Fancy Pants and his wife were worried that they hadn't seen me in a while and so were worried enough to where he asked a favor of a few he knew about in the guard about me… he was also one of the ones who was with me when I delivered mail. He was quite kind to me along with his fellow guard as they made delivering mail easier for me… although I thought that the guard were still assisting with mail delivery."

"They used to until a few weeks ago when the mail offices workers were finally able to return to work. But even then, can you please see reason for the guard?" Luna spoke up interrupting Celestia before she could speak.

"I just… don't want to cause problems." I spoke quietly.

"And yet you are making some for not listening to our suggestions." She then spoke in a monotone tone of voice.

"Luna!" Celestia scolded as they started to get into a small argument as I started to think about what they wished for me. If I had a guard, I wouldn't have to worry about being into much danger, despite being told otherwise… and then being told of the ponies who didn't like same sex relationships. Although considering it concerns Princess Celestia would they really be so against it?

They… actually might I don't know why I thought otherwise. I can actually start to see the reason why they want me to have a guard. "And… what would happen should I agree with this?" I then asked as they momentarily stopped their small argument and looked at me before looking back at one another and smiling.

"We would screen a few guards and then hand you their files for your own opinion if you want them or not. Although we will ask them first to see if they are fully willing for a change in position… I hope you would also find a few friends among them." Celestia spoke up with a small smile on her face. "And it would give me peace of mind to know your constantly being watched over and safe…" I smiled at her concern for me as I began to think of my options once again. They both apparently chose to not resume their argument as food arrived for us and we were once again left on our own in the dining room. I picked at my food a little as they ate their own before I eventually came to an agreement with myself.

"I'll… agree to it… as long as I have your help for a couple things concerning it." They both smiled at me.

"Certainly… although I believe after dinner, I should take you to see a few areas of the castle, as well as find you a more permanent room here in the castle, that you should know about." I looked at her with confusion as Celestia seemed to gain a thankful look on her face…

Why did I feel worried for what was to come?
