October 1995

It has been one month since Angelica and Castiel made up. Although that happened he started doing thinks like changing his appearance though he didn't need to and stopped dating to make her notice him but it didn't really work. Either she didn't notice or was being oblivious of it he didn't know. She noticed but didn't do much about it because she was with Dean but she would eventually let him down but when she didn't know. He would go as far as the innocent gesture of buying her roses, hugging her longer than necessary, cuddling and more things without being so obvious.

Right now they were on the couch watching a movie when Angelica's phone ring. The call that would change her life forever.

"Dean... hey… what's going on?... what do you mean you haven't told me everything?" She said hearing sounds in the background.

"Listen, I'll explain everything at a later time," he said breathing heavily as he checks on his father who was knocked unconscious against a tree. "Right now I need your help. Sammy's here but I don't want to put him in danger."

Angelica interrupts him, " Okay then... Where are you?" She writes down where he is after he tells her.

She hangs up and turns to Castiel. " I need to hold your keys. Dean's in trouble."

"Sure but I'm coming with." He said handling her the keys. Julian, her father came down the steps right at that moment.

" Hey, where are you two going?"

"Dean's in trouble. I have to go now."

"Maybe I should go with you too. Make sure you're safe," Julian said grabbing his keys from the cupboard.

" Dad, that's nice of you and all but I can handle my own besides I have Cas here. I don't need you to come along."

Julian frowns before replying, "I'm not taking no for an answer."

"Come on daddy, this could be the thing that raped you." She didn't want to lose that line but she had to.

Her father tensed up before saying, "And risk the same thing happening to you. I don't think so." Her father was so stubborn maybe that's where she got it from. She couldn't argue with his point of view but she could try another tactic.

"But…"

"I hate to interrupt but Dean could be in serious trouble right now while you two argue." Castiel said talking for the first time interrupting them.

Julian looks at him before looking at Angelica. " You don't want me to go?"

Angelica looks up as if to the heavens then looking at her father as she shook her head. "That's what I said from the beginning!"

Her father chuckles before walking over to her and kisses her forehead. "Okay honeybee. Be careful."

"I love you daddy."

"I love you too."

She turns to Castiel and grabs his hand in hers. "Okay now that that's settled, let's go."

Leia, Angelica's mother, caught some of the conversation as she came down the stairs and smiles as she stands beside him as they watch them go, "You seemed to have handled that well."

He wraps his arms around her and kisses the side of her head as he said, "I tried. What if she runs into danger like me?"

"She'll be fine. Besides we taught her everything she knows to defend herself," she said as she turned around in his arms to kiss him.

Angel and Castiel arrived at the troubling scene but we're unprepared for what they saw. Dean and his father were knocked unconscious by what appeared to be a creature of the sea. Sam was as far from the scene as possible when he saw them.

"Hey can I help? Dean won't let me."

Castiel and Angelica both turned to him before replying, "No!"

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME? THAT'S MY FAMILY BACK THERE." He yelled before talking normally, " I'll just hide in the shadows."

It was what appeared to be a lady in a dress that left little to the imagination with flawless curves. She looked normal somewhat except for the talon liked nails and everything else you wouldn't find on a human. As soon as it saw them it took full human form and sent an invisible force to gravitate Castiel toward it and sending Angelica into a tree nearby but she wasn't knocked unconscious. Castiel began trying to get to her as she toward him but that force held them apart.

"Let him go. Take me if you want not him." She said as she eventually broke the force holding her. How she did it she'll never know. She had a trick up her sleeve and she hoped it worked.

It was as though Castiel knew what she was thinking because he already did it. The creature looked over to her in surprise with its mouth hanging open in a o breaking the invisible force it had on him. No-one was able to break it's magical force. During its surprise, it let Castiel go and he was able to cut its throat killing it but not before it sent a orb into his stomach and he cried out in pain as Angelica reached him.

She touched his cheek and a spark went through them sending her flying back so she avoided touching him. " Whoa. What was that?"

She cut her arm using the knife that fell to the floor.

She put it above Castiel's mouth, who was holding his stomach. "Angel what are you doing?"

"Do you trust me?"

"Yes, you don't even have to ask."

She laughs before saying, "I can't explain now just drink. It will make you better, I promise."

He put it to his mouth and began drinking. As he began drinking he noticed she was right. As soon as he finishes, she pales.

"Are you okay?"

"I will be. Let's get the others." she turns around looking for Sammy in the shadows. "Sammy you can come out now."

Sam appears as if out of nowhere and looks at Angelica quizzically. "What was that?"

"What was what?"

"You know, having Cas suck your blood."

"No time to explain. Right now we have to go."

"I have all the time in the world."

"Sammy!"

"Okay," he said placatingly holding his hands up. "I can wait."

They head over where the unconscious Dean and father were. Angelica heads over to Dean while Castiel heads over to Dean's father waking him up. Dean wakes up to see Angelica and Sam hovering over him.

He looks at Angelica closely before yelling. " GET THE HELL AWAY FROM ME. SAMMY DON'T BE FOOLED. IT'S NOT HER." The creature looked a little like Angelica so that's why he was confused after just waking up.

"It's her. Castiel killed the creature." Sam said before he and Angelica helped him up.

"I'm sorry Angel." She brushed it off because she could see why he had that reaction.

"That's okay but I have something to tell you and you may not like it." He didn't know that what she was to tell him would change his life.

"Tell me."

"Not now. We have to get Cas home. Something's wrong with him but I don't know what yet."
