A/N: My apologies, dear readers. I know I had to keep you all on edge as my life took a toll on my activities. My gadgets are having technical difficulties and everything else is bad history. But while I was gone, I did take time to check and update my stories. This fanfic wouldn't have been continued if it weren't for the people supporting it. So to all the readers, viewers and reviewers, thank you all for your support! So with that, enough chit chat and onto the story!

"Oh my gosh! What happened to you kids!?" The school nurse asked in concern, seeing as there were two students bringing bigger but knocked out students with them. Standing up from her desk, she walks towards them. Bruises and scratches were all seen on every kid that entered the clinic, something the nurse hadn't seen in a while especially with the new hall monitor around doing her job seriously to a high extent. And yet the assigned monitor was here being one of the said kids aforementioned, with eyes reddish and puffy as if she took some time off and cried!

Ah yes, the school nurse. Since Lincoln was still new to middle school, he had a lot to learn. Thankfully, Lynn had already filled him with a dozen of information. And it wasn't what he expected. The way she talked about her made it seem like the nurse had this "I don't give a crap" personality, along with a narrow mind, which is definitely wrong for someone who works in a school. But from what he'd seen recently, she was pretty alright. Even quite lovely towards the students. Maybe it was so she could get a good impression. Lincoln didn't know and didn't care either, so long as she doesn't hurt anybody.

" So basically, these two chumps started assaulting my brother after he went to the toilet for some reason and they wouldn't admit defeat. Had to knock them out before they'd get to us again." Lynn explained, which was technically the truth. Her voice slightly cracked from replaying the moments in her mind earlier and she teared up slowly, but shook it off. Trying to stand strong as to not look weak, and also to not raise suspicion. You're not a baby, LJ. Stop.

The nurse shook her head in pity. "What a shame. You know you didn't have to do that right?" She said, seemingly more concerned for the unconscious students rather than the two bruised siblings. She furrowed her brows in disappointment, looking at the one person who had an obligation to prevent anything like that from happening.

She seemed to buy it, which is good. But the relief the siblings felt was slowly replaced with dread, guilt and in Lynn's case, anger. The brunette jock knew she was in the wrong for lying about such, and she can't blame the nurse for disgracing her. But out of all times they'd argue about her yet again, abrasive behavior, why can't she tend to the injured students first? As much as they both hated to lie, what else could they have done to save themselves and keep each other out of trouble?

Hey, at least this is better than them actually knowing the wide, and complex truth of the matter. Knowing how hot tempered his sister is, Lincoln crossed his fingers behind his back. Although, luck was rarely by his side, just this once. He hoped Lynn wouldn't go full blown frustrated and spit out the beans out of anger.

"You gotta cut me some slack, Nurse B! They were assaulting my brother-"

The nurse picked up the 2 boys, surprisingly having enough strength to carry the buff jock and the scrawny nerd all at once. " Still! Aren't you the one who's supposed to stop this!? You could've done your "Hall monitor" magic or something!" After putting the boys into neatly arranged beds, she gave a glare to Lynn before rubbing her temples in frustration. He could see her anger vein, and Lincoln patted her on the shoulder.

Oh, so that's why Lynn never spoke about her greatly. Lincoln could see now. That nurse was a foreshadower, someone who jumps into conclusion.

At this point, he noticed Lynn shaking in anger. She was frustrated as well. It seems reasonable. After all she went through, they still assumed her to be tough, to be the best. They forgot she was human, and with that, it irritated Lincoln. Then again, she constantly did brag about her strengths, so she was given a taste of her own medicine. But what kind of nurse would do that? Lincoln shook his head in shame. And even if their story is technically made up, it doesn't mean their bruises are!

Before his sister could reply in frustration, Lincoln stepped up the plate. "B-but nurse! She wasn't the one knocked them out." He started, putting his hear down low in guilt as if he was four year old stealing a jar of cookies again. "I did." Lynn looked towards Lincoln in an almost taken aback manner, and then nudged him, indirectly telling him not to say that. As to why, Lincoln didn't know. Guess she wanted to sound like the hero in this. Heh, egos.

There was silence for a moment. Only the air conditioner was heard. He looked up and saw the nurse looking at him in curiosity, wanting him to continue his story. "T-they pinned her down. It was the only thing I could do to stop her from suffocating." Lynn furrowed her brows and tensed up as he said that, not wanting to remember what happened. Whatever. As long as those bullies are out of the way. The jock thought, swallowing her pride. After all, she still got her big reputation, at least.

"…Oh." Was the only response they had from the nurse. Pity and guilt graced her face as she went nearer to them. "Well, it makes sense now. So would you kids mind if I tend to your injuries? She asked, gesturing them to walk towards the clinic's beds. Lincoln and Lynn didn't reply and simply followed her. They were all neat and white, just like a hospital. The room smelled like rubbing alcohol, and Lincoln felt uneasy. As he hated being reminded of hospitals. It reminded him of death and injuries, something he was afraid of and truly avoided. As for Lynn, she was nonchalant. Having being used to it because of all the sports she played. It was her second home at this point.

She told them to sit down on one of the beds, so they obeyed. "Wait here, I'll go get my first aid kit." The nurse said before going off somewhere. The room had multiple beds, also occupying the nerd and the other jock, who were still very much unconscious. They both thought she wouldn't be back for a while so all they did was sit in silence. An awkward tension separating the siblings apart. What could they do? What should they say? Lynn wanted anything but to be reminded about that ordeal but it was all Lincoln could think about, synapses firing in his brain and flashbacks of what happened earlier playing in his brain. He shivered from it and the cold yet sweating profusely, as if he was suffering PTSD.

After showing her vulnerable side, Lynn felt open. As if she just sold herself to somebody, which was her brother. It was like she was possessed by some sappy ghost that led her to break down in his arms like a weakling. She hated that. Looking at him now, it felt like being beside a stranger you've spent your lifetime with. As simple as that sounded, what went on her mind was more complicated than anything Lisa could ever solve. It just seemed different looking at him now. Lincoln was the same, but the connection related to him felt… weird. And deeper than it was before. Lynn didn't know, and that frustrated her to no end. She wasn't even sure to keep going or not, but her heart and the twinge down there tells her yes. Yet her brain tells her no, saying he's your brother! She clenched the bedsheets, making it wrinkled as she slightly shook. God, did she hate emotions.

"…So…" Lincoln started to break the silence, feeling concerned.

"What?" Lynn stiffly asked, making Lincoln flinch at her stern tone. She cringed after hearing her voice, not meaning to sound too agitated and snappy. There was just a lot she had to process, and one distraction fueled the frustration in her veins.

"…" Lincoln hesitated, getting the urge to say 'nevermind' knowing his sister was probably irritated. But his brotherly instincts got the best of him and he involuntarily let it out. "You okay?"

Bruh. That was all he could let out? Just a "U ok"? After all the concerned thoughts in his mind and all the better questions he could've asked, that was it? Lincoln inwardly face palmed at his antic, hoping she wouldn't mind.

Lynn let in an audible inhale before looking at him. A glint of irritation seen in her eyes as she stared at him firmly. Her eyes still puffy and pink from the crying she did, you'd have to wonder if she did cry again. As the tears staining her cheeks looked somehow fresh. Shortly after, she let out some shaky breath before breaking eye contact from him. Her heart sinking as she looked into his blue eyes, and that's what made her stop. "I-I… You know what? Let's talk later. I can't deal with this right now." Lynn said, rubbing her temples from stressing out all too much. Why did today suck so bad?

Lincoln could've sworn he heard her voice crack. Deep inside, he knew she had an ego problem so talking about her problems was gonna be a tad bit tricky. She'd eventually talk though, ramble on about her problem later on. But Lincoln was aware that she needed space for now, so with that, he swallowed some build up in his mouth and kept quiet. None of them speaking a word.

"Wow! Is it quiet in here!" The nurse said, holding a white box with medical supplies in it. She walked towards the pair and looked at their injuries. Just a bunch of bruises here and there, nothing too serious. However, their psychological health was far contrary to the small injuries they have. If only the nurse knew what really happened.

The siblings knew this nurse was a rambler. Once she'd start talking, she'd never stop. It was always tiring to listen in on her conversations especially if you weren't a gossiper type of person. And unfortunately, Lynn and Lincoln were far from that. However, that did help with lightening the mood. And hey, she did crack some great jokes…

"That's one serious bruise, Ms. Loud! You sure you're alright?" She asked, tending to her injury. It was extremely purplish and dark, and looked like a love bite since it was located on her neck. My my, that brute really did a number on her. She has to be glad that she didn't really go unconscious.

"Yes, I'm fine." Lynn said, exasperatedly. She just wanted to leave already. Have some space, then talk to Lincoln or something. Lynn wanted to be anywhere but here, in school. Just someplace to either concentrate or clear her thoughts.

Lincoln cleared his throat. "Nurse, will we get in trouble for this?" He asked, dropping the bombshell. Lynn's eyes widened as she blinked multiple times, trying to get herself to calm down while the nurse contemplated. Quietly working on his sister's bruises as she thought deeply.

Only when she moved on to him did she have a say. "Well, you kiddos look like you need some rest. Once they wake up," She pointed towards the unconscious boys. "Then we'll hear their side of the story then we will decide if you both get sent to the office or not." Lincoln flinched as she accidentally pressed on his faces black spot, which was a punch inflicted by Tony earlier in their brawl. "Sorry." She said sheepishly.

As brother and sister heard what she said, they sighed in relief. But a pool of anxiety still rested in their stomachs- what if they remember everything?

They hope the hits were hard enough to make them lose at least a portion of their memory. But if it did, then they'd be in huge trouble for causing violence in school grounds! Their lie would be all for naught! Lynn gulped in dread, she hated getting stuck in a pickle. And Lincoln's head ached, as if he had enough issues already.

This never would've happened if he just didn't surrender to his primal lust-

But somehow, it felt like more Lincoln. Lately, his heart would skip a beat whenever he saw Lynn. And ever since they went through a tough situation and prevailed together, it made him feel proud of them. His heart sunk to his stomach when she saw her crying, but it would flutter when he saw her smiling. And the way they touched in the arcade room… it was warm, and somehow passionate. What was going on with him? Why did he feel this way?

"Anyways, you need me to call your guardians?" She offered, actually concerned about their health.

Lynn shook her head defensively, as if she were hiding something. "No, no. It's okay, we can just walk home." She explained, waving her hand around to emphasize her point about rejecting her offer.

"What about them?" Lincoln asked, looking at the two other beds with occupants.

"Well, I'll have a look at them first." The kids looked at her patiently, asking her through their eyes if they were free to go. "It's alright, you guys don't need to worry about them for now. Go on! You're dismissed." The nurse said with a smile.

Lynn and Lincoln stood up and waved her goodbye, with Lincoln looking at the clock on the wall. 3 pm already!? So did that mean-

RIIIIIIIIING! Class was over.

And as on cue, students ranging from 10 to 14 came out and about their classrooms. The sheer amount of them rapidly walking out mad either look like they were about to have a stampede. Lynn and Lincoln drowned in the crowd, following each other until they headed out.

"Oh, Ms. Loud! One more thing!" the nurse yelled from the clinic, making both of the siblings turn around. Lynn looked at the nurse, knowing she was referring to her and stared at the woman with questioning eyes.

"Are your legs okay? You're sorta walking like a penguin. " The older woman commented with a raised brow and a concerned look. Lynn and Lincoln blushed, with the former having a short and terrible flashback to what happened in the arcade room. The sporty jock froze as she shivered in disgust, sweat falling down her forehead as she was unable to talk.

"Nah. A little thing just happened earlier. She's okay, nurse." Lincoln replied, saving Lynn from horrible embarrassment.

While they planned in the arcade room, Lynn found out that because of the painful friction applied against her… you know, it got a little hard to walk. Lincoln remembered carrying one of the unconscious bodies after finding out along with her, and he glared at the one he carried and hers too in absolute hatred and pure anger. Once both of you wake up, I'll make sure you'll never be forgiven. Lincoln will make it up to his sister, somehow.

Shit. My bag. He suddenly remembered having to leave it in his locker before heading to the clinic so the nurse wouldn't raise any suspicions.

"Linc, where you going?" Lynn asked, noticing him walk the other direction. She was impatiently tapping her foot for an answer, wanting to go home immediately.

Lincoln turned around but still continued to walk. "Give me a sec! I just need to grab my back pack!" He said, pointing towards the lockers nearby.

Oh right. "Catch you later outside then! I'll be waiting for you." Lynn sounded normal now, unlike how she was in the clinic. Was she pretending to be okay or?...

Behind that normal tone of hers, Lincoln could tell that they needed to go asap.

He continued his journey towards his locker, which wasn't too far behind. The middle school right now was just a sea of people running around. Jesus Christ, Lincoln was glad that he could dodge pretty well having to grow up with more than a dozen people and animals in the house.

"Hey Lincoln!"

The white haired boy yelped but thankfully held onto his locker before it was too late. Behind him, he saw his friends waving the him though their expressions were different. They seemed… worried.

"Where have you been? We couldn't find you anywhere!" Stella said, concern filling her voice. And because of her, everyone else started asking similar questions like he was a celebrity and they were paparazzi.

No surprise by then on why they were surprised. But the question was… how'd they know he was missing? They had separate classes, and it wasn't like they had gotten breaks in between the 3 hours wasted. The bell ringed just a couple minutes ago, how could they have searched all over for him everywhere then?

"Yeah! Did you forget about the news team we had?" Liam asked, imitating that team pose they always did together after asking. And that's when it struck Lincoln that he had indeed, forgotten. If you were in his shoes, could you really blame him?

The middle school news team had a schedule every week for when they were gonna broadcast. And for this week, the showing was supposed to be today! Therefore, Principal had given permission to record in that one special room the latest and best news to be circulated around the school. So they'd only get 1 hour of afternoon classes before heading off and meeting each other in the cast room. And they were grateful for that, as the faculty trusted then so much to allow them to relieve such a good opportunity! If they ever slacked off, the hall monitor was always there anyways.

Shit. Those looks in his friends faces ranged from irritation to concern. What could he say?

"Uh…" That's it! He got an idea! "I'm really sorry, guys. Yeah, I didn't forget. Had a lot of things on my mind lately." Lincoln said, slouching in shame for forgetting. Though, he didn't wanna be pitied. As he deserved such bad treatment for being like this.

He felt a hand on his shoulder, patting him. "Wanna talk about it? Dr. Lopez says it's always healthy to open up." Clyde said, calmly. His friends were just the nicest, Lincoln smiled at that. Sometimes, he felt like he didn't deserve such.

Lincoln breathed. "I would, but my sister is waiting for me outside. I'll explain everything when I have time, bye!" And with that, he stormed off. Feeling guilty for doing that to his friends. Someday, but not now, he'll get to tell them everything.

"Hmm, weird. He never runs off like that." Rusty said, a brow raised in suspicion.

Zach nodded. "Yeah. It's like he's paranoid aliens are about to get him. And trust me, I know all about that." He agreed, remembering how he or his parents are when the topic of aliens get mentioned.

"What do you guys say we have a new investigation?" Stella suggested, her tone suggesting determination and curiosity. "It would make some good headlines." She elaborated.

"But isn't that like invading privacy?" Clyde counter attacked. " If he may still be hiding secrets, then maybe we can really dig into this."

"I'd say Clyde's right. But then again, have you all noticed the hall monitor's absence as well?" Liam asked, his hands on his hips.

The whole group suddenly remembered that Lynn is always around no matter what cost, and she'd always appear ready to shove them into lockers. Zach and Rusty shuddered at the memory. "Yeah. But does that mean anything?" Clyde asked.

"Maybe it's a family issue?" Zach suggested.

Everyone else agreed, too tired to jump into conclusions. This week's broadcast was a bust without Lincoln, but they don't fret. Hoping he'll be available the next week. With that in mind, they all walk together towards the outside of school. With some of them not satisfied with the conclusion they've reached, reminding themselves to ask their white haired buddy for explanations.

Meanwhile…

"There you are! Geez, you took forever." Lynn said, punching him on the shoulder. Once Lincoln yelped, she laughed and dragged him by the head. Wrapping her arm around his shoulders in a comforting half hug as they walked together.

Why was she acting so normally!? It's as if none of that shit happened! Lincoln couldn't comprehend. Was she pretending or what? From the locker to the clinic, everything keeps flooding back to him every single second and there's no way out to control himself. The scariest part of it is when he thinks about what Nick did to her...

Yet she was laughing and skipping around like she usually does.

"Ly-" Lincoln stops himself before he could ask. If she was happy then he'll let her be. The boy had forgotten that when it came to emotions, he was a sensitive boy and it took a while for him to get over something depending on the situation. What happens earlier would make any child involved traumatized, and if this was her way of coping with it, then so be it. Instead, Lincoln smiled too. Enjoying her sweet company.

The walk was silent, but unlike their short trip to the school nurse, it was warm and cozy. Just like how it'd feel to cuddle with your loved ones in a cold winter night, with the fireplace being the only source of light, the trip back wasn't so bad. It was actually better than anything the two siblings did together. This time, they felt contented with what they have.

Streets busy, people jogging, wind flowing- they both took it in as their legs moved forward automatically, going towards their sweet neighborhood. Lincoln never knew to appreciate nature this much, since he was always indoors. But damn, does it feel good to have fresh air. No hustle and bustle in school, no noisy tattle tales, no ear shattering rock music. Nope, only peace. Just the sound of reeling engines and people's footsteps against the pavement.

The people were right, walking does clear minds. Not entirely to the point where his brain is empty and all there is would be searing white light, but enough to keep him preoccupied in the little things he never learned to like. That's probably why Lynn chose to walk with him.

But little did Lincoln know, there was another reason.

Once they finally arrive, Lynn kicked the door dramatically. Expecting people to be home. Lincoln rolled his eyes at this. Finding it strange that she constantly kicks the door when she could just use the knob. Then again, it would usually snap when it's her hand opening it- the force she gives just kills the poor doorknob every time! He doubted kicking it would be any better though.

They both looked around. It was oddly quiet and strangely deserted. Lynn and Lincoln called out their pets, siblings and even parents' names, to no avail. They looked around the house, checking all the rooms- and vents- up and down. Heck, Lincoln even checked his and his parents' calendar! If there was anyone who kept track of the family's activities, it was the three mentioned earlier.

Turns out that after school, Leni had a shift. Luna was attending a concert with her friends, Luan had her comedy class with Benny, Lana and Lola had a sleepover tonight with their friends since it was a Friday, Lucy had an evening séance with her club, so she won't be home 'til 9pm. As for Lisa, she has a college to teach and Lily has daycare. Their parents wouldn't come home until late at night, since dad was busy with the restaurant and mom was occupied helping out while also working on her newspaper articles. Coincidentally, the pets were also having their annual visit to the vet today, and their parents decided to hire pet sitters to keep all four animals in check while everyone was gone.

For the first time in so long, a rare miracle happened in the Loud house. "Would you look at that? We're home alone!" Lynn said aloud, all giddy as if she had plans while she was here.

As for Lincoln, he was dumbfounded. This afternoon, the stars had misaligned way worse than his overbite. And now, it was the total opposite. What the heck? He narrowed his eyes in paranoia. If he didn't know better, he would've shook off the signs. But it stated in Arrgh! Season 4 Episode 25 : "If you're having constant bad luck and good luck in a single day, that means ghosts are onto you. Be careful, the next days will get crazier!" And who was he to not believe Hunter Specter?

He started to remember what they did before the two boys went and interrupted them. Shame filled his veins, and guilt flooded his mind. Albeit feeling more sinful than a serial killer, lust entered the corners of his body, and before he even noticed, his cock was back to being at half mast. Lincoln had recalled the last moments they've had. There was unfinished business he needed to do.

"Yo Stinkoln, you dozin' off or somethin'?" Lynn said in her usual slang. What's even weirder is that she's calling him by his nickname again. It's funny because he should be the one asking her if she was the one alright, not vice versa.

His dick throbbed at the sound of her voice. Lincoln, you fucking pervert~ He could hear her say to him, and a sexy image of Lynn spreading her legs wide filled his partially clouded mind. Well, he already received a blow job from her. Wouldn't be fair if he didn't do the same.

Now where does he start?

Oh right. Before he could get on with the real thing, he wanted some answers to his questions first.

"Helloooo~ Earth to Stinkoln!" Lynn said, snapping and waving her fingers in front of his face to send him out of his daze. She was worried for him, but also for herself. That incident from earlier, Lynn had ignored. She blocked it out of her mind. The jock would worry about her issues later, for now, she needed a way to release her pent up tension.

"Why do you seem so happy?" Lincoln blurted out suddenly. Looking at her straight in the eyes as he did. Lynn could see how serious he was about this, and somehow she remembered what she promised back in the clinic.

"-Let's talk later. I can't deal with this right now."

She thinks it's time. It's really time to stop beating behind the bush and actually have a long, meaningful conversation with her brother. Lynn hoped her mood swings and anger issues wouldn't go berserk today. Because it's gonna be quite a wild ride from what she can sense in her guts. She approached Lincoln, put her hand on his back as they trailed their way upstairs. "Lets take this to my room."

And there the Loud siblings went. They trudged up the stairs silently, not speaking to one another like their earlier journey home. As to why Lynn was happy, yet strangely quiet, Lincoln didn't know. But he hoped to find out why very soon. She still walked a little strangely, but he could tell that Lynn was recovering. His heart dropped to his stomach, and he gulped. The boy didn't really have a good feeling about this.

Finally, they arrived in her shared bedroom. With it being empty since Lucy wasn't around. Lincoln stared at Lynn the whole time, not caring about anything else but her. His stomach churned and his heart swelled; why was he acting like a young schoolboy with a crush? All so suddenly?

"Alright… how do I say this?" Lynn asked herself aloud, snapping him out of his thoughts. Noticing this, Lincoln walked involuntarily and sat on her bed, patting on the other side to make his sister sit too before they could have their chat.

Think…think, Lynn! You have a brain, so use it! You can't just go out of control and make out with him again. Stinkoln deserves a better explanation.

Lincoln sits silently, knowing constantly patting on the mattress wouldn't make her obey his request for her to sit down. He looks at her, concern etched on his face. Lynn paces back and forth in the room, the only sound being was her shoes tapping as she took a step every time. Dropping her backpack on the ground in the process. Lincoln noticed and realized he had his on too, so he got it off and placed it on the carpeted floor.

The stress on her face was almost indescribable. Her eyebrows were furrowed and sweat ran down her forehead as she contemplated while walking. Unconsciously, Lynn's teeth chewed on her bottom lip. Her eyes were fixated on the carpeted floor, as if it would give her any advice of the matter, but they obviously knew it wouldn't. Lynn's arms were behind her back, fiddling with her fingers as she thought deeply. Thinking wasn't her strong suit anyways. She was acting nothing like she did a few minutes prior, and it was extremely odd to Lincoln.

"Lynn?" Lincoln called her attention, his patience wearing thin.

Damn it. What was she even planning right now? Even Lynn herself was confused with what she was attempting to do, but just like what she always says, she's giving it her Damn 110% in it. The emotions fighting within her was making it incredibly hard to think straight, and with that logic was out off the window. Her plan didn't make all too much sense but she hoped that eventually, they'd make progress.

Now first, answer his questions.

With a shaky deep breath, she spoke. "Look, I know you deserve a good reason on why I'm acting like this." She said, earning an agreeing nod from her brother. Lynn unconsciously nodded back before looking away, not wanting to maintain eye contact with Lincoln. "Well…hmm" the jock babbled out accidentally trying to think of what to say. Bad move. She saw Lincoln's head tilt in curiosity and she wished she never said that.

Then she thought back to everything the two had been through today, including the things on her mind back in the walk towards home. Of course!

"I was happy earlier cuz we're home alone, you know? It ain't everyday something like this happens." Lynn blurted out with a shrug, that being the first thing she had in mind. Although, her brother wasn't too convinced at her reason, judging by how he narrowed his eyes in suspicion.

"Okaaaay… But what was that weird act of yours at school earlier? Why'd you have to pretend to be okay or something?" He exclaimed, shooting his arms out frustratingly. Lincoln wanted to delve deep, he wanted to know the deepest feelings and thoughts of his sister especially after how she openly cried earlier. The boy knew he shouldn't pry it out, but majority of him wouldn't shut up unless he did. His urge to know his sister better was killing him, just like every other temptation he couldn't control.

Oof. He should've rephrased his question, and soften his tone. The way he asked made him sound agitated and annoyed, as if he was the one who did something against her. Lincoln suddenly closed his mouth shut with two hands, knowing that his tone alone will make her veins pop.

Oh how right he was. "And why are you acting like you're innocent, Mr. Can't control my urges!?" She yelled, her face quickly turning red in ire from just hearing his question. "You think it's easy to stand strong!? You think I enjoyed what they did to me? Or liked everything that happened today!? I only did it to… " Lynn furiously busted out in anger, yelling right on Lincoln's face. But quickly stopped mid sentence, tearing up as her breath became hitched. "I-I only did it for you!" She said, pointing accusingly at him.

With that, Lincoln received more questions than answers. What the heck did she even mean? Slowly but surely, he started getting irritated. Annoyed at the vagueness Lynn keeps giving him. There was only so much Lincoln could take. "What! How does that even help me in any way!? If anything I should be the one helping you!" He stood up, still facing her back. Then as fast as he shot up from the bed, he quickly remembered what she said before her voice cracked. She didn't like what they did together?

Lincoln's heart melted. Of course she didn't. It was gross and forbidden, something that broke their sense of morality and relationship as siblings. The boner that was in his pants subsided fast, emotions reeving through his heart instead. But quickly, that anguish turned to anger. That wasn't what she showed to him from the way she moaned and willingly touched him!

"I didn't want you to worry, okay!?" She cried out, stomping a foot on the ground in anger. Geez, Lynn knew it. Their chat wasn't gonna go as intended. Of course it wasn't. It wasn't her to be pessimistic, but she already saw the signs since the beginning. And along with that, also her strong female gut feeling.

What did she just say? "You're my sister! Of course I should worry about you, especially with what happened in the arcade room!" Lincoln's head ache. Arrgh! was right. Hunter Specter was correct; Multiple strikes of bad and good luck in one day results to even more crappy scenarios. Go figure.

She stiffened at the mere mention of the horrible ordeal. "You don't understand, Stinkoln." Lynn facepalmed, feeling good from actually doing it physically the first time today. "I'm the older one. The more responsible one. I have to be the one protecting you and our younger sisters." Yeah, she was. But unfortunately for her, she fucking failed at it.

"Age doesn't matter, Lynn. It's the blood that does. We're family, so we have too look out for each other." He said, crossing his arms while still sitting on her bed. Out of irritation at her mood swing, he quickly added. "And you failed at responsibility, knowing how you didn't stop me from doing it."

It was only a mutter, something that could be barely heard. But with only them being in the house, you could hear a pin drop from the lack of noise!

Suddenly, he heard her growl angrily. And Lincoln flinched, realizing that he said too much, again. Was this Murphy's Law working against him or was this just karma because of the unholy thing they did back there? He wasn't an angel, no. But it pissed him off seeing her pinpointing the blame directly towards him. Sure, he did a lot of damage, but cut him some slack! He's a pubescent 12 year old! What did you think would happen?

"I fucking tried, Linc. I really goddamn tried." Lynn said through clenched teeth, her voice sounding a bit fuzzy from it. She stopped dead in her tracks, her back facing him as she stared at the wall. One reason for that was so he couldn't see her tear up again. Lynn really wished opening up was easier done than said, because every step she gave only sent her backwards at this point.

"I tried to protect you. I tried to stop myself just so we wouldn't let that happen. I tried to act calm and pretend, but it just doesn't seem to work out well." She said, tearing up even more. Lynn didn't even bother hiding them, after all, he couldn't see her face. " I just wanted to save you from getting in trouble. " Lincoln went from angry to curious really quickly, funny how emotions work. "But then you, ended up starting something that never should've been…" She cracked even more, her voice threatening to break. " And when I was supposed to control it, I couldn't." Lynn put her head down low in shame, at this point, she clearly knew why she wasn't level headed at the time.

"But why? I've always known you to be strong, Lynn. Why didn't you stop me?" There, he dropped the million dollar question; the one that plagued him ever since the whole problem started. Guilt filled his mind, but he knew he wasn't all to blame. Lincoln knew he was getting close to the jackpot. Opening up the emotional borders of her sister and making her go from defensive to emotional once more. He hated to hurt his family, but it seemed to be the only way to know.

No, no. If anything I'm weak. "Because…" Lynn said, moving her head up and facing the dark wall which was Lucy's side of the room. It was melancholic, just like how her heart felt right now. Tears flowed from the corners of her eyes slowly, blurring her vision and blocking her nose with fluids. And she sniffled, hoping Lincoln wouldn't hear.

And the next thing she said would change the relationship forever. Completely seal off their label as just 'brother and sister' into something more deeper and complex.

"…I love you."
