Hey everyone, here's chapter 32 of Rise of Zeo. I'm sure our hero had fun last night… and not just because he defeated Grom either. Anyway, here's the next chapter. Enjoy.
It was a new day on the Boiling Isles, the morning following Grom. Zeo walked downstairs in his sleepwear with a yawn and a stretch of his arms. He entered the kitchen and, to his surprise, saw his mother sitting at the table, sipping his morning cup of apple blood. It wasn't weird that she was drinking apple blood, more of the fact that she was up before him. Usually, he was the one that was up before her, at least by a good half hour or so.
"Morning, Zeo" Eda greeted him without looking up.
"Morning" Zeo greeted back, taking out the apple blood from the fridge instant pancake mix from the cabinet. "Joke Star, arise!" he tossed the card, summoning the jester creature, "Make us some waffles, would you?" Zeo told him, Joke Star replying with a salute.
"So, did you have fun last night?" Eda asked while taking a sip of her drink.
"I got to take on a nightmare monster and destroy it, albeit temporarily, with my new ice dragon form. Yeah, I had fun!" Zeo said, sitting next to his mother as her poured himself some apple blood.
"Oh, Zee-Zee…" Eda snickered, "You know that's not what I meant" she said while affectionately scratching the top of his head.
"What're you…" Zeo looked at her for a few seconds, and then saw the look she was giving him, "Oh…" he said as an embarrassed blush crossed his face.
[Flashback]
Eda walked down the hall, having just woken up a few minutes ago. Stopping in front of Zeo's door, she remembered how her boy was able to take down Grom the night before. A smile of pride crossed her face. She then opened the door, wanting to say hello to her son.
"Morning, Z…" Eda said in a tired voice, only to pause midsentence as her eyes grew wide at what she saw.
There in Zeo's bed were Zeo himself, along with Luz and Emira, who were both cuddled up to him on either side. They were all underneath the covers, their clothes scattered across the floor. It didn't take a genius to figure out what went on between the three of them.
Feeling a bit of awkwardness, Eda stepped back and slowly closed her son's door. She stared at Zeo's door as if time just froze around her before the scene before her processes through her brain as she tries not to freak out.
"Well, they must've had fun last night. I'll ask them about it later," Eda says trying to stay calm as she walked downstairs.
[End of Flashback]
"So, I'll ask again, young man. Did you have fun last night?" Eda repeated, smirking and raising an amused eyebrow.
"Well, I… I…" Zeo said before sighing, "Yes, ma'am" he said, hanging his head in defeat. Eda couldn't help but chuckle at her son's embarrassment. "You know, it's funny. One minute, I'm getting ready for bed; then the next, I'm in a heated make out session with Luz" he told her.
"Hm. I'm curious, did your bodies feel warm when you held and kissed each other?" Eda asked, rubbing her chin with a finger.
"Yeah, they did. Warmer than usual, actually" Zeo replied, "We were making out, and then Emira shows up at my bedroom door and… well, you know the rest" he said with a small shrug, "The thing is, I remember, uh… having fun with the girls, but not everything. I remember bit and pieces, but most of it is really foggy"
"Emira gave you and Luz drinks after you took down Grom, right?" Eda asked.
"Yeah?" Zeo raised an eyebrow.
"Yep, that must've been what did it" Eda said, taking a quick sip of her drink, "My guess is that Emira spiked your drinks with an aphrodisiac. Those things really increase your sexual arousal and desire" she told him.
Zeo groaned while pinching the bridge of his nose. On the one had, he probably should've seen this coming since it was Emira and he was aware of her feelings towards him, so he couldn't entirely blame her. Yet on the other, he really wanted to put that admittedly sexy girl's ass on ice. If this aphrodisiac drugging incident was a one-time thing for Emira though then maybe he'd let it slide. Maybe.
A moment later, both mother and son heard a yawn at the kitchen entrance. They saw Luz walk in on bare feet, dressed in her sleepwear with her hair a mess.
"Morning, Eda. Morning, Zeo" the human witch greeted the two while rubbing the sleep out of her eye.
"Morning" Eda and Zeo greeted simultaneously.
"So, Luz… did you have fun last night?" Eda asked her apprentice with the same playful tone that she used with Zeo just minutes ago as Luz sat down next to the card wielder.
"Watching my awesome boyfriend take down a horrific nightmare monster? Hell yeah, I had—"
"She's not talking about that, babe" Zeo interrupted the human witch, "She's talking about the fun we had after Grom. You know… with Emira…" he clarified, sheepishly rubbing the back of his neck.
"Oh. That…" Luz said as her cheeks turned red. She soon cleared her throat, "Uh, yeah. That was fun too" she shyly admitted as Joke Star place a huge stack of waffles in the center of the table.
"Hoot, hoot! We've got a visitor~" they heard Hooty say in a sing-song voice.
A few seconds later, Amity, dressed in her casual attire, walk into the kitchen.
"Hey Amity" Luz greeted the youngest Blight sibling.
"What's up?" Zeo asked.
"Have you guys seen my sister? She didn't come home last night" Amity asked. Luz and Zeo looked between each other.
"Well, I..." Zeo was cut off by someone releasing a relieved sigh. Everyone then saw Emira, wearing a bathrobe… and that's all she was wearing.
"Hey, is breakfast ready?" Emira asked with a stretch of her arms, and then noticed her sister, "Oh, hey Mittens"
"Emira? What are you doing here at Zeo's house?" Amity asked.
"What? I just spent the night here," Emira answered, as if it were no big deal.
"You spent the night here? You would've told us if you were going to spend the night here... and Zeo would've told me beforehand. So... what's going on here?" Amity asked as her sister didn't pay her no mind as she walked past her.
"Isn't it obvious, sis?" Emira said as she gave Zeo a kiss on the cheek as she joined him, Luz and Eda as Amity immediately frowned as a thought crossed her mind with her facing going from pink to red within seconds.
"You..." Amity accused in a shaking voice, pointing a finger at Zeo.
"Oh, here it comes..." Zeo said in his head with a mental groan as he covered his ears.
"YOU VIOLATED MY SISTER?!" Amity questionably shouted in shock throughout the house, forcing the birds in the area outside the house to fly away from the loud noise she made. It was good thing they were outside of Bonesborough, otherwise everyone would've heard that sentence.
"Damn, you got some lungs in you…" Zeo muttered, trying to keep his focus as he stared back at the fuming, or embarrassed, red face that was Amity Blight.
"But to answer your question, it was more like she violated me... against my will, along with Luz here... thanks to the shopping list she gave me, which in turn, let me gather everything she needed to make an aphrodisiac. She spiked our drinks at Grom and I only remember parts of what happened last night after me and Luz went to bed and we saw her at my bedroom door" Zeo answered, trying to remember what happened last night, but could only remember certain moments here and there.
"Because you were blinded by the lust of the aphrodisiac. Also, because you were having so much fun screwing me and Luz last night," Emira added, forcing Eda to hiccup the cup of non-alcoholic apple blood she was drinking while Luz turned red and put her face on the table.
"Don't remind me," Luz added with a guilty sigh of giving into pleasure without knowing
it. To be fair though, Luz was probably planning to sleep with Zeo at some point anyway. That didn't make this whole situation any less embarrassing or degrading though.
"I remember everything that we did last night. How is that even possible?" Luz asked as she lifted her head.
"Because, one, I didn't use much of the aphrodisiac. Just half of a small vial for each of you. And two, the aphrodisiac has a stronger effect in men than it is in women, which is why you remember everything, and Zeo only remembers some" Emira explained, everyone looking at her with surprise. "What? Just because I'm beautiful, a troublemaker and hate school, doesn't mean I'm not smart" she commented, eating a part of her waffles.
"It's still weird hearing smart things coming out of your mouth though..." Amity said with an uneasy look.
"I hope you kids were using protection," Eda said with a straight face.
There was a short pause before the Owl Lady and the three teens burst into laughter. The aphrodisiac Emira used had the added bonus of preventing pregnancy. Amity, however, had a serious expression upon her face.
"Seriously, Em. Don't make this a normal thing. If mom finds out..." Amity began as she pointed out their parents' would-be position on this, forcing Emira to stop midchew and look at her little sister. Since this was a big deal, eventually their parents are going to know or get involved and it's wise to bring them up beforehand.
"She won't," Emira commented, gulping down the waffles in her mouth. "In fact, are you going to tell?" she asked as she eyed her sister, who sported a mixed look of curiosity and hesitance upon her face.
"I don't know. Maybe..." Amity admitted. From Amity's perspective, this situation can go in any direction, both good and bad for everyone.
"Well, please don't tell. Because if you consider telling her..." Emira got up from her seat and brought her little sister in for a whisper. "I will tell our friends here that you stare at a picture of your old friend with the glasses from time to time."
That insightful piece of blackmail just made Amity mentally clam up. Emira knows about her Amity's crush on Willow... and she could say that sentence right here, right now.
"You wouldn't dare...," Amity said with a blushing frown, trying to call her sister's bluff, but Amity knows her siblings better than anyone. She knows they barely bluff, given their coven choice.
"Try me," Emira said with a superior smile, knowing she's got mittens in a trap. After a grim stare down between the Blight sisters, Amity calmed down... frustrated.
"Fine. I won't tell," Amity muttered in defeat.
"And vice-versa, your secret is safe with me," Emira said, giving her sister a hug, making Amity groan in displeasure at how she just got played by her sister.
After breakfast was finished and after the Blight sisters left, Zeo laid on the couch as Luz sat beside him, Zeo resting his head in her lap as he stared up at her cute face along with the ceiling.
"You okay, kid?" Eda asked.
"I think I need therapy about this "condition" I have with attracting women like fire bees to honey," Zeo answered as Luz rubbed his hair to keep him calm.
"For some reason, I agree with you," Luz added as Zeo smiled at her honesty.
"Oh relax, kids. The first time is always memorable," Eda said with a smile.
"How would you know? Have you done what I did last night... with two girls at once?" Zeo asked, sitting up to see Eda's response as she became instantly tongue-tied and started whistling in denial and feigned ignorance at hearing her son's question, making her way upstairs.
"I thought so!" Zeo shouted up the steps as he laid his head back down on Luz's lap. "What a web of relationships I... no, we are weaving together," Zeo said to his girlfriend.
"Yeah," Luz agreed as she lifted him and laid down on top of him with a hug as they enjoyed their alone time together as they prepared for what life will throw at them next.
"That being said, I can't but think about what happened last night…" Zeo said as he held his girl in his arms.
"Yeah, spending the night with two beautiful girls? That must be a lot to think about" Luz replied, looking at the boy with concern.
"No, not that. Trust me, I'll worry about that later…" Zeo muttered that second part under his breath, "I was talking more about the fight with Grom" he clarified.
"What about it?" Luz asked.
"It was about what Grom said. Right before I shattered it to pieces, it said that I have "their" scent on me. What does that even mean? Just who are "they"?" Zeo asked.
"I don't know," Luz shrugged, "But don't worry about it too much. I'm sure that pile of goo was just trying to mess with your head" she reassured with a small smile.
"Maybe. But for some reason, I have a feeling those words have something deeper behind them" Zeo replied while looking at the ceiling.
"Hey, Zeo? Just be quiet and cuddle up with me, ok?" Luz told him, nuzzling his chest.
Zeo chuckled as wrapped his arms around his girlfriend. After the crap he went through yesterday, he could use a little relaxation. In that moment, a glowing envelope flew through the small opening underneath the front door. The envelope floated over to the cuddling couple, catching Zeo's attention.
"Hey, check this out" Zeo said, taking the envelope into his hand, "It's a letter from Aunt Lily"
"What does it say?" Luz lifted her head.
"It says she wants to meet up with me. She says she wants to discuss something important," Zeo said while tossing the letter aside, "Eh, I guess it must be something really important if she's willing to send me a letter" he said while gently pushing Luz off him.
"So, you're really going?" Luz asked as Zeo got up from the couch.
"Yeah, why not? It's been a while since I spent time with Aunt Lily" Zeo said with a shrug, "Besides, I could use a little fresh air to clear my head" he added while popping his shoulders and back with a stretch of his arms.
"Where are you going?" Eda asked, coming down the stairs.
"I'm going to meet Aunt Lily. She says she has something important she wants to talk to me about" Zeo said while placing his deck on the coffee table.
"You aren't taking your beasts with you?" Eda asked, a mixture of curiosity and concern in her voice.
"Won't be necessary. I trust Aunt Lily" Zeo replied with a small shrug, "Besides, I can't rely on my beasts for stuff all the time. I will be using my Drago-cycle to get there though since the location is way out of town"
"Alright. Just be careful out there, Zee-Zee" Eda said while caressing her son's cheek.
"You worry too much, mom," Zeo said with a smirk as he gently brushes her hand off of his cheek. He heads out and summons his cycle and rides off with Eda watching him fade into the distance from the front door.
That kid," Eda said with a smile and small head shake, "I feel like things would be way different if Lily were the one raising him," Eda commented.
"Yeah. You would be trying to corrupt him with your antics and personality while he would be the one trying to bring you in or try to stay away from you like the plague," Hooty said with a cheeky grin, making Eda sport a pulsing vein.
"Who asked you?!" Eda said in with hint of anger in her voice as she pounded the front door like a crazy person, leaving a sizable fist print in it.
"Ow! Really?" Hooty said at Eda's taking the joke too seriously.
"Really. Don't make it a knuckle sandwich to that beak of yours, Hooty!" Eda glared.
"Fine," he relented.
An Open Field…
Zeo skidded to a halt as he arrived at the open field that the letter told him to go to.
"Alright, here's where I'm supposed to meet Aunt Lily..." Zeo got off his bike, returning it to its card form before putting it away, "Now, where is she?" he asked, looking around.
The open field was void of anything but grass and the far trees that outline the area. He even looked up towards the sky, expecting to see his aunt come down out of the sky on her staff.
"Something's not right..." Zeo muttered to himself as he looked all around the area again. If this was what he thought, he just needed sign number two.
"Hello?" he shouted, expecting an answer back as he looked all round one more time. When he didn't get an answer, he knew that was the second red flag he needed to leave.
"Uh oh. Trap," he muttered as he quickly put his hand into his pocket to grab his Drago-Cycle card, but then, his arms were frozen and restrained behind his back.
"Got'cha, boy," a familiar voice said from behind the pruned Zeo.
"I know that voice. Warden Wrath?" Zeo asked as he was able to turn slightly around to see Warden Wrath with his index finger extended to keep Zeo restrained. "Still trying to get a hopeless date with my mom that's never gonna happen in this lifetime?" Zeo asked, making the Warden groan at his prisoner's sass.
"Yes. She and I were destined to be together," he says as Zeo could only roll his eyes in amusement at this obsessive mindset over his mom.
"Oh, titan. He sounds just like Xandopher when he obsessed over Em," Zeo muttered.
"And since I have her brat of a son as a prisoner, this will bring her running," Wrath explained as a rope he held snaked its way up to Zeo's legs, up to his body, and wrapped around his arms and body to prevent him from reaching the only card he had on him.
"Now that's tight," Zeo muttered within his head at the literal discomfort of the situation he was in, hoping his mom would come to check on him, sooner rather than later. "Mom, I hope you come and get me soon because I'm in deep trouble right now."
Bonesborough…
"Here's your fire bee honey, Eda" Tabby said, handing the Owl Lady a jar of the incredibly warm honey. Not hot enough to burn someone's hand though.
"Thanks, Tabby" Eda smiled, but then it soon faded, "Uh, do you wear that all the time?" she asked, cocking an eyebrow at the outfit that the anthropomorphic often wore.
"Of course. I'm covered in fur, so it's purr-fect for me" Tabby said with a playful, sultry gaze, "And yes, Zeo sees me in this every time we see each other" she quickly added, knowing what Eda was thinking.
"Ok. Just as long as you don't clean yourself the way cats do in front of my son" Eda told her.
"Don't worry, I won't. I have some dignity after all" Tabby replied. Unlike most of her kind, she preferred to wash herself with soap and water. And even if she did do it the cat way, she'd rather have it done by someone else.
"Tabitha…" they heard a familiar voice.
They turned their heads to see the other Clawthorne sister.
"Oh, hey Lilith" Tabby greeted the elder Clawthorne sister, "Here's that herbal tea you wanted" she slid a jar full of tea leaves to her.
"Thank you" Lilith smiled as she took the jar, "Edalyn, it's good to see you. How are you doing today?" Lilith greeted her sister with a hint of surprise in her tone.
"Trying to get by and survive, day by day," Eda answered as if everything was normal. "And hey, we got your letter."
"Letter? I didn't send a letter to you," Lilith said plainly as if this was a joke.
"What do you mean? We got a letter in the mail with your name on it saying you wanted to meet with Zeo about an urgent matter," Eda said, pulling out the letter to prove her point.
"You really think I'd trust that demonic doorbell of a house with a letter to you for a secret, informal meeting, nevertheless, with confidential information," Lilith pointed out skeptically while taking the letter to inspect the writing, making Eda mentally backtrack what she just said.
"Now that I think about it, she has a point. Hooty wouldn't tell us anything about the mail he eats until he upchucks in front of us," Eda commented in her head.
"Edalyn, I never sent you this letter. This is not my handwriting," Lilith clarified with certainty.
"What?" Eda said, feeling quite nervous as realization slowly formed in her mind.
"And Zeo went here?" Lilith asked as she pointed at the letter's contents.
"Yep," Eda answered as both sisters looked at each other with frowns.
"Trap," they both said in unison, confirming their suspicions as they ran off to find Zeo at the meeting place.
Open Field…
Eda and Lilith flew across the isles on their staves, Eda flying ahead of her sister. Eda must really be concerned for Zeo if she was flying at a faster pace than Lilith. Eventually, they found Zeo in an open field in the center of the forest, his wrists tied up. They descended behind a few trees. In front of Zeo, they could see none other than the Warden.
"Warden Wrath?" Lilith questioned.
"Ugh! Of course. He lured Zee-Zee here and captured him to get to me" Eda said, knowing what this was about, "All this so I'll go out with him" she added.
"Gross" Lilith cringed with disgust.
"Yeah, you're telling me" Eda said with equal disgust.
"Well, we might as well save Zeo. Once we do, Warden Wrath is going to get it" Lilith said, coming from behind the tree.
"Hold it, Lily" Eda placed a hand on her sister's shoulder, stopping her.
"What? Edalyn, that's your son and you aren't going to attempt to rescue him," Lilith argued as Eda just sported a humorous smile.
"Despite the situation, don't cha think by now you shouldn't underestimate Zeo at this point," Eda asked her sister, who was about to argue her case until all the memories of Zeo doing numerous surprise hat tricks with his summons around her caused Lilith to not even utter out an embarrassing counter-argument to Eda's statement.
"Okay, point taken. How is he going to get out of this?" Lilith asked with confusion and worry.
"Just watch and wait," Eda answered as they peaked out behind the tree and watched the interaction between the two.
Warden Wrath was patiently walking back and forth in front of the bound Zeo, awaiting the arrival of the Owl Lady while Zeo was trying to get himself out of his restraints, but thankfully, he wasn't gagged.
"I'm going to be honest with you, man. You have a serious obsession problem with my mother because she doesn't like guys like you. The large and in-charge kind of guy is why she tends to literally run away from the thought of having a steady relationship with any guy," Zeo commented, while Eda silently growled as Lilith silently giggled at Eda's perspective on being in a relationship.
"What can I say Eda isn't like most witches on the Boiling Isles," Wrath commented as Zeo rolled his eyes in amusement.
"You're not wrong about that," Zeo commented as he began to wiggle out of his restraints.
"But why Eda? Surely there's got to be someone else. Like Lilith," Zeo suggested as Wrath turned towards Zeo while the hiding sisters listened in.
"Unlike her sister, Lilith, Eda causes mayhem and I like that. Makes capturing her that much more fun when I mentally break her in my prison. Lilith is all about order and too much of it in this place would result in no more wild witches or prisoners to be subjected to the Conformatorium," he pointed out as he continued.
"In other words, boy, if she inevitably costs me my job, whereas the Boiling Isles will be wild witch free henceforth into the future, well... she's not the type of person to be worth my time, despite her being my current superior, if she's costs me my job in the long run. Am I right?" Wrath answered, stunning Zeo for a second at his response to his question.
"Son of a..." Lilith silently growled, tempted to go give the warden a piece of her mind while Eda successfully held her back from giving them away behind the tree cover as she silently giggled at her sister's reaction as the Warden turned around and continued to survey the area.
"Whoa. Well... then don't hate Lilith, just hate her job," Zeo answered as he finally got a hand free without the Warden noticing.
"I know, but she won't getting out of that job anytime soon, so it's best to prepare for the best-and-worst case scenario and enjoy the life and job I have right now while it lasts," Warden Wrath commented with a depressed tone as maintain his attention at looking towards the sky.
With his hands free, Zeo tossed the restraints away. Seeing as how the Warden his back towards him, Zeo gathered energy in his right hand. He used his left hand to hit the air around the palm of his hand in multiple directions. Zeo made sure to be as discreet as possible.
"What's he doing?" Lilith asked Eda, curious at what her nephew was doing.
"Something that I'm sure will blow the Warden away..." Eda replied vaguely, smiling proudly at what her son was up to.
Zeo stopped hitting the air around his palm when the rotating ball of energy gathered in his hand. Now all he needed to do was concentrate, focus more power into it, and keep the rotation going while maintaining its shape.
"So, Warden, if you did somehow manage to get my mom to date you, what kind of date would you take her on?" Zeo asked while keeping the rotating energy ball between both of his hands, keeping it contained.
"Well, personally, I'd take her for a long walk on the beach. Followed by dancing and a romantic dinner" Warden Wrath informed him.
Hearing that made all three Clawthornes cringe and Eda silently dry heave.
Well, at least you have the perfect evening planned out...," Zeo commented as he maintained the sphere, feeling ready to unleash it.
"Only one small problem," Zeo advised with guilty smile at what's to come next.
"What's wrong?" the Warden asked, turning his head slightly to hear what Zeo had to say next.
"You forgot about the fireworks under the moonlight," Zeo added, making the warden and Clawthorne sister surprised at Zeo suggestion while opportunity was now or never to attack.
"That's... not a bad idea," the warden contemplated at the thought. "What kind of fireworks would you recommend she'd like?"
"Something like… this!" Zeo shouts loud as he charges straight at the warden with his hand holding the ball pulled back, making the Clawthorne sisters think he was crazy.
"What are you do—" was all the warden could say as he saw the not so captured boy put a blue swirling ball into his chest.
At first on contact, nothing happened, but as Zeo pressed the ball further into the warden's chest, he felt the swirling ball starting to disintegrate his body from the point of impact. The next thing he knew, he was being pushed back, if not pulled back and eventually, flew back as the force generated by the ball intensified to the point that he was sent flying back into a thick boulder on the other side of clearing, leaving a KO Warden Wrath in the middle of a crater within the rock.
"Holy shit, it worked!" Zeo says with a smile as he drops down onto both of his knees as he looked at his handiwork while his mother and aunt's mouths were wide open in shock.
"I don't even know what just happened just now," Eda said in shock.
"You and me both, sister," Lilith uttered in an equal shocked tone, "Uh... So, is this the part where we come out?" Lilith asked, still in shock.
"Uhh..." Eda was on sure how to reply.
"Now to put an end to his creepy obsession with my mother..." Zeo tossed three cards, summoning the Griffin Blaster, "Permanently" he said in a dark tone.
"Yep, this is the part where we come out!" Eda said quickly, "Zeo!" she called out to her son.
"Mom? Aunt Lilith?" Zeo turned his head to his mother and aunt, stopping his attempted destruction of the Warden. "What're you guys doing here?" he questioned.
"I bumped into your aunt in town and we quickly found out the letter was a trap" Eda said.
"I wanted to save you, but Eda thought it'd be best if you handled it yourself... which you did" Lilith chimed in.
"Also, we came to stop you from committing murder, which I'm pretty sure is a worse crime than not joining a coven. Even if is of someone I really hate" Eda added, muttering that second part under her breath with slight annoyance.
"What was that thing you just used on the Warden?" Lilith asked with a mixture of curiosity and amazement.
"The... Rasengan, I think it's called. Luz introduced me to these types of shows called "anime," and one of the main characters of a show uses this move a lot, so I tried to make my own version. It apparently worked, but now I know the real difficulty of pulling it off," Zeo explained as he stretched his arms out.
"To be honest, I wasn't expecting it to do that much damage to the warden on my very first try when using it in action," Zeo pointed out in surprised while looking back at the still knocked out warden.
"So, wait. You were winging it the whole time when you used the move," Lilith asked in shock.
"Yep," Zeo said with an embarrassing smile, stunning both sisters yet again.
"Okay, kid. We definitely need to talk about your weapons, armors and skills so we can keep a list of all the things you can do because this is getting old. I mean, every time you do something that adds a new addition to your weapon or beast gallery, I'm starting to feel jealous of what else you can do,"
"Then, maybe you don't know everything about your son, mom," Zeo teased with a smile, making Eda frown as Lilith could only smile at the two as she hits her crystal ball.
"Why don't you two get out of here. I've got the Emperor's Coven coming here to arrest Warden Wrath for kidnapping," Lilith said as Eda
"You're riding with me this time, kid. You seem warn out after using your new move," Eda pointed out as Zeo couldn't really argue about it this time.
"Just don't kill him, Lily. Otherwise, you'll need to find someone else to keep an eye on the Conformatorium," Eda pointed out.
"No promises," Lilith pointed with wave.
"Bye, Aunt Lily," Zeo said as he and Eda took to the sky on her broomstick.
"Hi, Ms. Lilith," Warden Wrath greeted as Lilith sported a scowl on her face as she started popping her knuckles, maintaining the stare at Wrath.
"Not worth your time, huh, Warden," Liliy asked sarcastically with a mad voice as she eyed the pruned Warden Wrath.
"Oh. You heard that," Warden Wrath asked as he began to sweat profusely in nervousness.
"I heard all of it," she added as twirled a circle and the sound of Warden Wrath's screams could be heard from the broomstick of Eda and Zeo.
"Yeesh. I'd hate to be that guy," Zeo commented as Eda directed Owlbert back home.
The Owl House…
"So, you not only managed to master the rasengan, but were also able to use it to take down Warden Wrath?" Luz asked, lying on top of Zeo as the couple lay on the latter's bed.
"Yeah. The weird part is, every other time I've tried using that move, I was merged with my doppelganger. But this time, I was able to do it with what felt like my own power" Zeo said as he held up his hand, a blue aura surrounding it before dissipating seconds later, "It's never happened before"
"Heh. Maybe losing your innocence last night unlocked the ability for you to use your own power" Luz suggested in a half-teasing tone.
"I would ignore that, but it just might be a possibility" Zeo replied.
"Oh, that reminds me. Emira wanted me to bring up something to you…" Luz said, glancing off to the side.
[Flashback]
"Well, I certainly had fun last night" Emira said while putting her dress and footwear back on, "What about you, Luz?" she turned to the human girl who stood in the doorway of Zeo's room.
"I could've done without being drugged, but other than that… yeah, I had fun" Luz said, lightly nodding in agreement.
"Great" Emira smiled, "So, tell me, what do you think of the idea of… sharing Zeo?" she asked.
"I mean, I kind of already am sharing him with you and the other girls" Luz replied.
"Yeah, but I mean in the way that you and I shared him last night" Emira clarified.
"Oh…" Luz blushed, her cheeks burning red.
"The girls and I get to have fun with Zeo and you still get to be his main girlfriend" Emira told her, and then added, "Plus, you'll get to have fun with the girls and I as well"
This made Luz's face even redder as the female Blight twin approached her.
"I… Well… I-I don't…" Luz stuttered.
"Hey" Emira place a hand on the human's shoulder, "You don't have to answer right away. You can give me an answer when you're ready" she told her. Luz nodded. "If you do decide to go through with it though, but sure to let Zeo know. It won't be as fun if he's not on board" Emira said.
"R-Right…" Luz muttered.
The human girl was caught slightly off guard when Emira leaned in and pressed her lips against hers in a deep kiss. After a minute, she pulled away.
"See you around, cutie" Emira whispered, running her fingers under Luz's chin.
Luz watched as Emira walked away with a sway in her hips. The same mesmerizing sway that she often gave Zeo whenever she walked away from him. It made Luz's heart race even faster than it already was.
"So, this is what it feels like when this stuff happens to Zeo…" Luz muttered to herself.
[End of Flashback]
"Wait. Emira wants you to let her and the girls share me with you?" Zeo asked, trying to grasp the weight of the situation, "Are you actually going to go through with it?"
"Well, it would make our mature fun more interesting. I'll admit, I wouldn't mind having fun with Amity and Willow…" Luz admitted with an embarrassed blush, "But I would only go through with it if you're ok with it" she said with a serious expression.
Zeo sighed. How the hell did his life turn out like this? Sure, he had technically only been alive for a few weeks… or maybe a month, he had lost track, but still. Most guys would think having this many girls attracted to him was cool, and it was sometimes, but it was also really annoying at times. At this point though, Zeo had no choice but to accept that being a chick magnet was something that was out of his control… no matter how hard he tried.
"I like seeing you and the girls happy, and you girls tend to be happy when you're with me half the time, so… I guess I'm in" Zeo said with a shrug.
Luz chuckled, "Then I guess my answer is yes" she said, giving him a peck on the lips. She then sat up, straddling her boyfriend, "Since it's just us at the moment though, how about we—"
"Ahem" Luz was cut off by someone loudly clearing their throat just as she lifted her hoodie up to her belly. The couple looked to see Eda at the doorway, "Luz, can I talk to Zeo for a bit?" Eda asked.
Luz got off Zeo and headed out of the room as Eda and Zeo looked at each other.
"What's up, Mom?" Zeo asked as he sat on the edge of the bed.
"Zeo, we need to talk about what happened...on Grom Night...after the dance," Eda said, closing the door to his room.
"Oh, that," Zeo says before lowering his head with a depressed face, awaiting his judgement.
"I gotta say, Zeo, sleeping with your girlfriend and the Blights' eldest daughter at the same time to lose your V-card? Not a bad feat," Eda said patting her son on the back.
"So, you're not mad?" Zeo said in a surprised tone.
"Well, less mad... and more like surprised, really. Because most teenagers do this kind of thing when they're young, anyway," Eda said with a snicker. "Although, I wasn't expecting you to be one of those "teenagers," but I am glad you're growing up… maybe a little too much at once, too fast, but here is some wisdom from me, your mother," she said as she stood up and faced like he was going to be put down with some verbal wisdom.
"Zeo, I'm glad you're happy and in love, but I want you to be more responsible with who you sleep with. It's not that I don't want you to have some fun in the sack or anything, but more like just don't let love, sex and lust run your life, because too much of a good thing is considered bad. That's one of the rules of life because you don't know how deep you could be in trouble until trouble starts backing you into corner and then who knows what comes next. You may find a way out or you get buried alive in trouble," Eda says as Zeo only gulps in fear at the thought.
"But at the end of the day, it's all about responsibility. I would rather you maintain your goal of being the greatest upcoming witch while having fun with your friends as long as neither side affects each other like there's a sense of balance," Eda commented
"So, remember..." Eda began.
"Day by day. Work first, play later, but overall, have fun," Zeo summarized quickly with a smile at his mom.
"Exactly. That and I don't want any grandchildren within the next year or so, young man, if you're going to be having too much with all of these girls. I mean, seriously, I'm too young to be a grandmother," Eda commented.
"No offense, mom, but curse or not, you look like you could be a grandmother," Zeo said, pointing out Eda's wrinkled skin, greyish-white hair, and her lazy lifestyle within the house as if she was retired.
Eda's response to that remark was an angry grumble while going to the door, calling on Owlbert as she chased her son all around the house with Luz wondering what happened between the two within Zeo's room.
Alright, finally, that's the end of this chapter. This chapter was co-written with Clock King 10. I would've had this chapter up months ago, but my laptop is all messed up. I need to get a new one.
So, it looks like Zeo finally mastered the Rasengan… and he was able to do it without merging with his doppelganger. Could what Luz said about losing his v-card unlocking his own power be true or was it just a little joke? It's mystery. This move will become very useful in the future.
As of this chapter, I'm going to try to have Zeo not rely on his beasts as much. How can he call himself a witch-warrior if he doesn't use his own power to take down threats? He'll still use his beasts, just not as much as he normally does.
And it looks like Zeo's going to be having fun with the other girls in his harem. This is because I'm writing a M-rated one-shot sex collection story that coincides with this story. The chapters of collection story will take place between or during the chapters of this story. Plus, Luz can have some fun with the girls in it as well, so if you're a Lumity shipper, there might be a chance of there being a chapter where… well, you know where I'm going with this.
