Wow, thanks you all so much for the support. Got so many Favorites. So if any of you have looked at my other story's you will see 3 others. A New Light was my first and reading it kind of makes me cringe a bit. I was very new at this and it will show, its pretty bad. But still I do not regret making it and would never give up the experience. So to see so much support for this is really delights me. I hope you all are enjoying this.

Jessie, James, and Meowth stood in a large room with a screen before them. They had been waiting for a new assignment for a long time but right when they were to be sent out they got called back. While a bit frustrated to have to change gears right away they knew their duty's and came back right away. They were now waiting to get their new orders. The screen finally lit up and their boss, Giovanni, was on it.

"It would seem a large problem has shown up in Sinnoh. A group of Pretenders has shown up and made operations there hard on us."

James spoke up first. "A pretender group?"

"Yes. They call themselves, "Team Rainbow Rocket". Aside from a very minor difference with the logo they run just like us. However it pains me to say but they run things better than we do."

"Better? How are a bunch of fakes doing that?" Jessie asked in shock.

"I do not know but they must be disposed of. Our operations in Sinnoh are in danger."

Meowth chimed in. "So we are to get rid of fakers? Easy enough."

"Do not under estimate them. They have been causing many problems for us." A slot under the screen opened and a tray with a few of their Pokemon's Poke Balls came out. "Understand this is a major Priority. You are to hold off on anything else. No stealing, no criminal activity, no nothing. I want Rainbow Rocket gone as soon as possible."

"It will be done!" They all said.

Later the three were walking out to the sub that would take them to the Region. James looked at his Poke Balls. He had got Carnivine back, something he was delighted to have. He looked at Jessie who was looking at Seviper's Poke Ball. As nice as this reunion was James had to speak up.

"Pretenders? Ones that are doing better than us. How is this?"

Jessie sighed. "I don't know but this will be fast. They just have not dealt with us."

"I agree! Once we make the scene we will oust them right away."

James nodded at them but he was not sure. "Right. Well lets still be careful."

"Uh! Just relax James! We will be back before you know it!"

Back with Ash and Marnie they had finally made it to Jubilife city after hours of traveling. As it turns out they made better time than both had expected and made it there that night. The two pretty much bee lined it to the Pokemon Center. Marnie ran inside fast ready to help her Pokemon.

"Hello!" she said to her Relative.

"Oh hello Marnie! So good to see you!" She walked to the counter.

"Our Pokemon are pretty healthy but they need a look over. Well Ash's Murkrow might need some healing."

"Yeah, I don't think he had a long rest after fighting that Skarmory." Ash said.

"Well I will take good care of them! Marnie, you want to join me?"

"I would love too! I will be back later Ash!"

He nodded as she walked back and went to take a seat as Pikachu scampered to the back with them. He was not all that sure what to do at the moment. Really there was nothing going on in the city so he was just passing by. It was also night so he was just waiting for his room to be asigned. He was about to grab a pamphlet about the city when the door opened. A Dark skinned kid looking about his age with a jean jacket on came in.

"Hello? Is anyone here?" He spoke with a Galar accent. "I need my Pokemon to be looked at."

The Chansey waved him over. He walked over and gave it his Pokemon. Only three of them it would seem. He must have been a pretty new trainer also. He walked over and sat down next to Ash letting out a long sigh. He looked pretty rough like his travels got a bit rough.

"So hi! I'm Hop."

Ash was glad he wasted no time greeting him. "I'm Ash! Nice to meet you!"

"Wow! Ash? Like the guy who's the Alola champion?"

"Oh! Yeah!"

"Wow! So cool to meet you! You know my brothers a Champion also!"

"Really?" he was interested now.

"Yeah! My brothers Leon!"

Ash knew who this was. He found out when he looked into the Galar League. Leon was believed to be the best also at the top of the Champion lists. His fame made the Galar League a lot harder to get in and would require a sponsorship just to get in.

"Wow that's amazing! Your his brother?"

"Yeah! I was hoping he would sponsor me! But I became a trainer a little to late." He seemed down.

"I know the feeling. I found out I was too late to enter also. Stinks too as I was told do to my title in Alola I wouldn't need a sponsor."

"Heh lucky. Still When I was told the Sinnoh League was reopening I booked tickets here!"

"Hey me too! I pretty much had everything ready almost overnight."

The two spoke for a while. They were able to bond really fast. Ash learned that he was indeed Leons brother and he had came over with three of his Pokemon. However he got lost and spent a few days longer than he wanted to also getting in a few unpleasant fights with the wild life. As the two spoke Marnie came out with Pikachu and a few Poke Balls.

"Hey Ash! Ours are all good. Your Murkrow apparently is well enough also. Joy said he is a pretty tough one."

Pikachu let out a happy "Pika" and ran up to him. "Alright! Glad to hear!" He took his Poke Balls.

"Your the owner of the three that just came in?"

"Ahh Yeah! Hop!"

"They are in really rough shape. They need to stay over night."

"I guessed..."

"Oh Hop this is my student Marnie." Ash Decided to introduce them.

"Huh? Student?"

"Its a new mentor program." Marnie stated. "Ash is training me to be a good trainer"

"Oh that sounds neat! I should have asked my bro if he could mentor me!"

Marnie looked at Ash.

"Long story... Anyway our rooms set?"

"Oh yes! We three will share one if that's okay."

"Oh that's fine with me." Hop said. "But I could use some food."

"Ill take us by the cafeteria and we can eat in the room."

The four got some food together and went to their room. Pikachu sat beside Ash and ate his, after dumping and entire bottle of ketchup on it, while the three chatted. Hop got Marnie up to date with everything and they then just talked about whatever popped into their head. This went on a bit before they decided it was time for bed.

Later in the night a loud crash was heard. All four bolted up and ran out. They came to a giant hole in the wall of the treatment room. The Nurse Joy looked very distressed.

"What happened?" Ash asked.

"It was all so fast! Some men dressed in Black were in here taking Pokemon and when I tried to stop them they set off and explosive and ran off!"

"No! My Pokemon!" Hop looked scared

"Come on Marnie! We have our Pokemon!"

"Are you sure? Shouldn't we let Jenny deal with this?"

"We have to do something! We got our Pokemon and it will take Jenny a while to get here."

"Alright. Though I am not sure what I can do."

"A lot more than you think."

All three ran out following the path the thieves made. Subtlety wasn't in their vocabulary apparently and left a pretty visible trail. The followed it out into the woods before they came to a clearing where three men were working on getting the Poke Balls transported. He noticed all three had on Team Rocket outfits.

"STOP! Those are not yours!" Ash yelled.

"Huh? Gah told you we should have gone the quiet way." He drew a Poke Ball.

"Relax we got them. Jim get the Pokemon out while we hold them off!"

The two sent out their Pokemon. On was a Raticate from Alola, the other a Toxel. Ash quickly looked up the new Pokemon.

"Toxel the baby Pokemon. It stores poison in an internal poison sac and secretes that poison through its skin. If you touch this Pokémon, a tingling sensation follows. It is a Poison and Electric type."

Ash went with his Muk, it seemed the safest bet. Marnie knew both her Pokemon held a weakness to this little lizard like Pokemon and she was unsure how to go. In the end she sent out Turtwig. The two battled as Ash tried to help her when it was needed.

Meanwhile Hop decided to sneak around the action. By some stroke of luck no one noticed him and he was able to get back into the ball holders. As soon as the third one got distracted he started looking through the Poke Balls. He had his marked so he would know.

"Come on they got to be here somewhere..." he dug around for a bit till he found a Poke Ball with his name on it. "YES!"

"Huh? HEY! Get away from that!" the grunt yelled as he sent out a Raticate.

"No I wont!" He sent out the Pokemon happy to see it was Wooloo.

The two started to battle. Wooloo opened with a Tackle rolling into the giant rat. Although it was knocked off guard it used Hyper Fang on it. However the wool took most of it resulting in Wooloo able to attack again right away. He responded with a Double Kick knocking it back away.

Meanwhile the fight with the other two was going poorly. Muk was holding up well taking the Raticate's attacks well and even poisoned it. But Marnie was struggling with the Toxel. Sense it was pretty weak Turtwig was still able to fight but the type mach up was not good. Ash tried to help but the Raticate was holding it in place. For now anyway, Raticate was looking weak.

"Ash I don't think Turtwig can keep up!"

"Don't worry, I can help shortly!"

The grunt scoffed. "No way! Toxel! Acid! End it now!"

The toxle inhaled ready to fire a finishing splash of acid. Turtwig would not be able to withstand this attack. Marnie looked scared for a moment. However, right when the attack would go off a Seviper wrapped around it making it spit in the wrong direction.

"Seviper! Finish it with Crunch!"

The Viper Pokemon bit down hard on its head. it let out a cry before fainting. It then unwrapped and used Poison Tail on the Weak Raticate. It went down after that. Everyone looked over to see Jessie. James was next to her with the other grunt out cold next to him. Hop walking over slowly pulling the cart of Poke Balls along.

"Team Rocket!" Ash yelled.

"Not you two again!" Marnie yelled.

"Relax twerp. We aren't going after you this time. We have bigger fish to fry." Jessie said.

James had Carnivine collect the other two. They quickly threw down a smoke bomb and vanished. All three were very confused. Hop had no idea what just happened and Ash was confused as to why they just grabbed the grunts and their Pokemon and left. In the end they had the Pokemon back so they went back.

After they got back they explained what happened. Jenny said she would look into it and Joy was just happy to have the Pokemon back. Later Ash explained to Hop about team rocket and why it was so odd they let them take back the Pokemon. Ash was still wracking his brain as to why they would allow them to take back Pokemon their own team stole. But for the life of him he couldn't figure out why.

"I just don't get it." Hop said. "It sounds like they were on the same team and yet they not only stopped them but let us take back the Pokemon?"

"Yeah I am trying to figure that out also." Marnie said.

"Well for whatever reason we should be extra careful." Ash responded. "I have a history with them and its not a good one."

Hope opted to change the subject. "So your on the Gym challenge also?"

"Sure am!"

"Well if it is all good with you I would like to travel with you! If you have been here already it might help a lot!"

"Sure! Assuming your alright with it Marnie."

"I do not mind at all!"

"Alright its settled. We will take on this new Challenge together!"

"Sounds good to me!"

Meanwhile at the Rocket Outpost Jessie, James, and Meowth stood before their contact, a woman named Monica.

"You three did a wonderful job! Getting the three grunts will help us out a lot!"

"It was easy!" James said.

"Though I am a bit irked we did not steal a single Pokemon." Jessie complained. "There was so many right there."

"I know its tough but right now we need as little heat on us as we can. All operations in this reason must be halted till the problem it solved."

"Fine, I guess that makes sense." Meowth relented.

"Just keep up the work you three. We got a lot to do."
