Path to Trust
Hello, back with another chapter. As of recently, some issues have arisen at this point in my life. I don't mind telling people, but I am seeing a therapist just some things have come up. I'll update a bit more since this helps cope, I'm not suicidal or anything. I just got a lot on my mind. I'll do what I can to do my best but forgive me if something seems weird or off. Anyways with Grayfia, I want her to have this background. I needed something to make it where she was unique in her own way. I'm not going to bullshit and say she was part of the Yuki Clan. I can say that the Yuki and Akuma clan are sister clans, but their abilities are completely different. The Yuki clan users have wind and water to use ice. The Akuma clan doesn't need either one of those elements to use the ice jutsu. It's more of a pure ice element, you could even consider the Akuma clan the true ice clan. The Yuki clan could be considered the branch off Akuma clan. Anyways with the dialogue with all those characters in Snow. I guess it wasn't needed, maybe it was a bit much, but they'll play a role later on. Then they really won't be seen again beside Irina and Rayleigh. Those two are important though. Also, I do promise to start working on the Ninja's Hero Academia story. Anyways I hope you all enjoy this chapter!
Last Chapter
Soon Kakashi arrived ready to give the test to his genin, "Sorry everyone a black cat crossed my path and."
"Blah, blah, blah, you took the long way around and got lost on the road of life." Naruto shook his head, "We all just got here not that long ago. Which reminds me why did you come so late Irina? You weren't there for me to tell you to come here later?" Naruto wanted to know how she got that information.
"Well I carry a bingo book on me, it even says that he is always three hours late. Hokage-sama told me to be here for 9:00 am." Irina giggled as Kakashi scratched his head.
"Wow just kill my fun why don't you two?" Kakashi adjusted his mask and cleared his throat, "Anyways today I'm giving you all a test." Kakashi holds up two bells, "Whoever gets these two bells will be saved. Given lunch to eat and will be passed to be Genin. The two who don't get a bell will be sent back. You all got an hour to get the bells." Kakashi walks over to three logs and places a clock down. He turns to them and said, "Now any questions?" Kakashi had his eyes closed not looking at his students.
"Well yeah actually." Irina went to ask her questions until Kakashi interrupted her.
"Alright begin!" Kakashi said as everyone disappeared into the trees except for Irina. She was the only one standing there. She let out a raspberry blowing some of her hair out of her face as she disappeared into the brush as well. Kakashi eye smiled, "Wow not bad they can hide quite well… Sasuke." Kakashi knew he was at his six, "Irina." At his one, "Grayfia is hard to detect not bad." At his twelve, "Naruto… where is Naruto… woah not bad. I actually cannot sense him at all… interesting."
This Chapter
Kakashi was quite impressed already with how well the team was hiding. What got him was that Irina was joining them. Kakashi was told this late last night by Hiruzen. Learning that he would be taking on a Samurai from the Land of Iron was interesting. He learned that Irina decided to join because she wanted to further her training. Though she had to agree to say that she never came from the Land of Iron. Otherwise, other nations learning that Samurai were aiding other nations or even going there to become ninja could cause an issue. Other nations would demand that Samurai support them, which could lead to more conflict.
With Naruto
Naruto was sitting in the bushes pondering why Kakashi told only two of them would pass, "Hmmmm dammit Ero-Sennin told me that Jiji-san gave them a bell test. Wait… I know!" Naruto knew what was going on. Naruto sent out three shadow clones to heard towards Irina's, Grayfia's, and Sasuke's position.
With Irina
Irina was observing Kakashi and sneaking through the brush to find Naruto, Grayfia, and Sasuke, "Now I just need to." Irina was cut off when a hand planted over her mouth. She went to attack, but she realized it was Naruto.
"Hey, don't scream." Naruto gently removed his hand from her mouth, "I'm also a clone I came here to relay some information." Naruto's clone said while removing his hand.
"Yeah shoot, I was just about to come to look for you guys. There's no way in hell we could beat a Johnin since we're fresh Genin." Irina looked at Kakashi standing in the field again.
"Exactly, we need to work together to beat him. I have other clones getting to Grayfia and Sasuke. Meet me a hundred paces east." The clone began to lead her towards the real Naruto and Irina.
With Grayfia
Grayfia was analyzing Kakashi as she heard movement in the brush to find Naruto walking to her, "Grayfia we can't beat Kakashi-sensei alone, we're fresh Genin I'm sure we won't be able to beat him on our own."
"I agree, where are you located?" Grayfia asked with an almost monotone voice.
"We're about a couple of hundred paces went of your position. See ya there… Sasuke you fool." Naruto slapped himself in the face as he saw the Uchiha walking towards Kakashi.
With Naruto and Irina
Naruto and Irina saw from their view that Sasuke was in front of Kakashi wanting to do it himself, "He punched my clone… stupid teme." Naruto said annoyed, all he wanted to do was pass, "The reason Kakashi is doing this is that." Naruto was interrupted again a clone by Grayfia dispelled stopping one of Kakashi's clones from placing a genjutsu on her, "Kakashi used a clone to try to put Grayfia in a genjutsu, but my clone stopped him." Naruto's clone took out Kakashi's clone while taking itself out.
"Well let's just watch him fail alone," Irina smirked; she already knew by Sasuke's actions and what type of guy Sasuke was. If anything, he was going be a pain in the ass. Soon Grayfia joined the two making it now a group of three against Kakashi. They began to strategies on what they were going to do.
A few Minutes Later with Sasuke
Sasuke was panting heavily after his small little quarrel with Kakashi. He did his best with Taijutsu, kunai, shuriken, and even a fire jutsu which Kakashi shrugged off. Sasuke then found himself buried in the ground growling annoyed. Kakashi stood there chuckling until a smoke bomb was thrown, once it died down Sasuke wasn't there, "Hmm let's see if the last Uchiha will work together with the others."
With Naruto and the Others
"Sasuke we need to work together. We can't beat Kakashi-sensei on our own." Naruto crossed his arms annoyed that Sasuke wasn't giving him the time of day.
"No way I'm working with the dead last of our class, dobe." Sasuke let a grunt out turning the other way around.
"You idiot, titles don't mean anything. Seriously we need to work together." Irina said with a tick mark on her forehead. She doesn't get angry all that often, but when someone is this stubborn it makes it hard not to be.
"You know what let's just show him how teamwork works." Grayfia only agreed because this was her duty as a Shinobi. She had to work with her teammates regardless to get the mission done. Well in this case to pass the test. The three disappeared from Sasuke's view as he stood there annoyed with them. At least they aren't a letdown like the fangirls in their class.
With Kakashi
Kakashi began to get bored waiting until Naruto came from the bushes ready to fight, "Ne, Kakashi-sensei get ready." Naruto quickly threw a set of Kunai and Shuriken. Kakashi chuckled as he went to block them with his kunai. That was until Naruto went through a series of quick hand signs suppressing Kakashi at his hand seal speed. Shadow Shuriken Jutsu! Like that his kunai and shuriken multiplied from ten to fifty.
This forced Kakas to dodge unless he wanted to become a pincushion. Once he dodged, he said, "Ne if I hadn't dodged that you could have." Kakashi didn't have enough time to finish his sentence when he quickly dodged an attack from Grayfia.
Grayfia along with Naruto both engaged Kakashi in their own taijutsu styles. Kakashi knew of Grayfia's past and bloodline, he heard about her fighting style. The Akuma's fighting style was known as Frigid Foot. The name of it sounds deceiving as the user only uses their feet to trick their opponent. Using their leg attacks as faints more than their fists. Allowing them to trick their opponent while fighting.
Naruto made his own fighting style along with his mother's super strength. If anything, Naruto relies more on speed, learning how his opponent fights, using their own moves against them, being unpredictable, using weird tactics, and landing powerful chakra infused punches. He doesn't have a name for it just yet. Though once he does it will be a feared technique!
Kakashi was forced to dodge each of their kicks or punches. Kakashi was shocked at how easily they were working together. However, he could see that their movement were choppy because they've never fought like this before. Just then Kakashi saw the two dodge to the right as he quickly turned around pulling a kunai out infusing chakra into it as well. He blocked Irina's sword which his eyes widen, "Impressive seems your chakra control is already this good. To form your chakra into a blade. That takes some serious training… pretty sure Samurai do that." Kakashi eye smiled amused at his little jibe.
Irina smirked, "Shut up." Irina said annoyed as she got ready to charge him, "This isn't all I got!" Irina quickly pulled another sword out swinging her left hand with a chakra blade coming out.
Kakashi quickly dodged her attacks, then suddenly Naruto came charging in. Kakashi was forced to jump over his foot trying to kick Kakashi's legs out from underneath him. Irina was kicked away by Kakashi's foot at the same time. Grayfia conjured ice spikes from her hands, Ice Shards! Grayfia fired out spikes of ice forcing Kakashi to dodge. Naruto jumped towards Kakashi rearing his fist back. Irina charged forward bringing both of her chakra blades up to cut Kakashi. Kakashi took advantage of this as he quickly did a front flip and pushed off with his hands. Kakashi then used the momentum to help him go upright. His feet landed on Irina's and Naruto's shoulder. Kakashi pushed off sending a bit of chakra to his feet launching himself off their shoulder.
Irina fell on the ground as her left shoulder was dislocated and Naruto's right shoulder was a little sore. Grayfia came charging in engaging Kakashi into another Taijutsu fight. Naruto quickly moved towards Irina, "Ready? on three?" Naruto nodded his head at Irina.
"Ready." Irina answered.
"3!" Naruto shoved her arm back into place as Irina let a scream out. Naruto began to send medical ninjutsu to help ease the pain, "Sorry, but we need to get your arm back in." Naruto turned to Kakashi and charged at him with Grayfia trying to fend off his attacks.
"Yeah let's go!" Irina got up and charged forward continuing their fight against Kakashi.
The three continued to fight which impressed on how long they could fight. Kakashi began to try harder during their fight, they had about thirty minutes left. He decided to take one of them out, seeing how well Naruto or one of them to see how they would react. Kakashi dodged an attack by Naruto and Grayfia. When Irina went to attack Kakashi dodged her attack easily and pushed her to force her momentum to hit Grayfia.
Irina quickly disabled her blade, but Kakashi chopped her in the back of the neck knocking her out. Naruto and Grayfia were shocked at this, Naruto quickly engaged Kakashi again, "Grayfia get Irina away!" Naruto ordered as Grayfia nodded her head and quickly grabbed Irina.
Naruto and Kakashi were having a standoff as Naruto smirked, "Kakashi-Sensei let me guess… this test was to see about teamwork huh?"
Kakashi then lowered his voice for only Naruto to hear. "Not only that there is something else I need to see. You clearly have the skills to become a Chunin or even Jonin. I want to see for myself just how strong you are Naruto. You and the rest have already passed my exam, though why not make it interesting. I want to see how good you really are." Kakashi drew a kunai out ready to fight.
Grayfia wanted to interfere until Naruto said, "Grayfia, Kakashi wants us to act like one of us were injured. I'll hold the enemy off for you to flee. Ero-Sennin has told me different scenarios like these. Along with Kaa-chan giving different issues when someone needed medical help." Naruto turned to Grayfia and smiled, "For now, fall back and retreat. Get water or ice, and keep it applied to Irina's left shoulder. Make sure Sasuke doesn't have any cuts or anything. If so, we'll tend to them later for infections." Naruto began to run off the necessary list when a patient is hurt.
"Well knowledgeable in the medical field. That's good, but let's just see how strong you are!" Kakashi dashed forward and brought his kunai from his right to the left. Naruto quickly countered by putting his kunai up to have Kakashi's to bounce off. Naruto sung his leg forcing Kakashi to jump over, Kakashi went to kick Naruto at the same time. Naruto was beginning to see how Kakashi fought as he quickly lunged like Kakashi. Kakashi's eyes widen when he saw his own fighting style used against him. Naruto swung his kunai at Kakashi, Kakashi saw an overlay vision of himself fighting. Naruto was able to almost use Kakashi's style down to the fine areas. Just then Naruto made a quick sharp swing with his left hand. Naruto had a kunai appear in his left hand and swung quickly like Kakashi would. "Wait is he getting faster?" Kakashi was cut off from his thinking as a kick came his way. Kakashi did a backflip as his one eye narrowed at the young Senju heir, "No… he is improving and successfully copying my own moves."
Naruto smirked, "Did you figure out how I fight yet?" Naruto put his kunai away and unsealed Fushigiri from his forearm. As he began to channel some chakra to his blade, Kakashi's eyes widen.
"Impressive you already know how to channel your chakra into a blade too. Irina's a bit more impressive, but she has a while to go." Kakashi chuckled as he decided to see if he could throw Naruto off his game if he was going to get serious. Kakashi pulled out an orange book as he began to read… well fake read in front of Naruto.
Naruto recognized Ero-Sennin's book from a content away, Naruto clenched Fushigiri as he said, "Kakashi-Sensei… do you have any idea who I am? Who my Kaa-chan was? Hehehe… if anything I've learned while growing up with her. Is learning to hate perverts… but not just hate perverts… but how to cause them immense, immense misery." Naruto smirked as a fire began to burn in his irises which caused Kakashi to sweat. Kakashi felt as if he was facing the wrath from a mini Tsunade Senju.
"Now, now Naruto I did it before." Before Kakashi could finish his sentence. Naruto began to glow as he deactivated his weighted seals. Naruto then disappeared in a blur as a small dust circle was where Naruto just was. Kakashi was forced to put the book away as he ducked under a swing from Naruto, "Oh shit!" Kakashi one eye bulged out of his head as he saw Naruto's sword just mere inches from his head. He also saw some of his hair being chopped off. Naruto didn't stop as he brought his sword back around forcing Kakashi to go on the defensive. This continued for the next few minutes with Kakashi either blocking with his kunai or dodging in time, "Oh god! His Kenjutsu skills are insane!? Who did he train with!? His movements are almost flawless, its quick, powerful, not to mention deadly! HEY! THAT WAS MY FAMILY JEWELS WHAT THE HELL!" Kakashi screamed in his head as he jumped above Naruto's sword.
"Take this!" Naruto powered up a wave of chakra in his blade, as he shot a wave of pure chakra towards Kakashi. Chakra Cannon! Naruto shouted as the attack careened past Kakashi as he barely dodged the attack.
Kakashi one eye was wide and white, he brought his kunai up to his face to find the kunai cleaved in half, "If I didn't know any better, I swear you were trying to kill me!"
"Well, Kakashi-sensei… I do like making perverts… suffer." Naruto disappeared from his spot as he appeared behind Kakashi.
Kakashi turned around as he found Naruto sealing his sword away with a smirk on his face. "N-Now Naruto I know you're mad but."
Before he could finish Naruto's, fist came towards his face as he quickly dodged the attack. Earth Impact! Naruto slammed his fist into the ground forcing the earth to shoot up hitting Kakashi in the face and sending him into the air, "WHAT INSANE STRENGTH!" Kakashi said to himself as he helplessly fell back to earth. Naruto appeared in the air, Senju Smash! Naruto's fist met Kakashi's face, but Naruto found a log in his place. The log used as the substitution was smashed to smithereens. Naruto landed on the ground as the bits of wood fell to the ground as if it was raining woodchips. Kakashi couldn't help but sweatdrop at Naruto's insane strength, "Note to self-next time, don't piss off Naruto or Tsunade-sama. Don't read Icha-Icha in front of them." Kakashi decided to kick it up a notch as he went through a set of hand seals, "He must be running low on chakra now though. Let's just see how he does in Ninjutsu." Fire Style: Great Fire Ball Jutsu! Kakashi spat out a fireball jutsu towards Naruto.
Naruto simply put his hand up to his mouth, Water Style: Water Ball Jutsu! Naruto canceled out the attack as he ran through the steam that was created. Naruto was still about fifty feet away from Kakashi as he reared his fist back, "This is one of my strongest moves! Let's see how you eat this!" Chakra Shot! Naruto punched the air sending a shockwave towards Kakashi. Everyone stared in confusion until they saw Kakashi being sent in the air.
When Kakashi was hit with Naruto's attack he felt as if an iron wall punched him in the face. He was sent flying into the forest as he hit a tree. Kakashi was taken back by this as he went through four, eight-inch in diameter, trees breaking them in half. Sasuke, Grayfia, and the now awake Irina watched as a Jonin was sent flying. By a fresh out of the academy genin… well a genin that was trained by two Sannins since he was a kid. Kakashi came walking out of the forest out of breath, "Huh… even if I used my Sharingan… I think he might have still beaten me. I guess all his sparring with Jiraiya-sama and Tsunade-sama helped him read his opponents really well." Kakashi fell on one knee letting out multiple huffs and puffs, "I-I'm done… you win." Kakashi laid on his back trying to breathe and catch his breath.
Naruto cheered, "HAHA! WOOOO! Let's go! I just beat Kakashi Hatake! Man, Cyclops you must be getting rusty in these times of peace!" Naruto chuckled as the others came running over.
"Dobe how the hell are you so strong!" Sasuke asked almost with a demanding tone.
Naruto turned to him and shrugged his shoulders and said, "Well I mean my Kaa-chan taught me her superhuman strength. I have really good chakra control for low Kage chakra levels." Naruto said as if it wasn't a big deal rubbing the back of his head, "Oh Ero-Sennin taught me to read, counter, copy, and predict my opponent's fighting style. I began beating my Nee-chan in spars once I was about 10. Then 12 I could tire out Ero-Sennin and my Kaa-chan in spars, but if they went all out. They would have mopped the floor with me." Naruto scratched his chin letting some chuckles out. Grayfia couldn't help but be awed at how strong Naruto was. He truly was different than the other boys in her class. Which is why she can tolerate him more than the others. Irina couldn't believe how strong Naruto became, not only did he pass her in Kenjutsu since the last they met. He widens the gap between them since then too. Naruto knelt down and began to heal Kakashi, "Hehehe might have gone overboard, I can tell I broke a couple of ribs and strained your neck muscles." Naruto used Mystic Palm Jutsu and healed all of Kakashi's injuries.
Kakashi stood up as he let a sigh out as he scratched his head, just then a tree root next to him sprouted out. Along with Sasuke's, Grayfia's, Kakashi's, and Irina's eyes widen in awe. The root began to grow and went up to Naruto's hand. Naruto was holding the two bells that were on Kakashi's waist, "W-When did you get those!? Y-You're using the M-Mokuton!"
Naruto smiled, "My Kaa-chan said that I had to let my team know I had it. Though you guy needs to learn that you can't tell anyone I have this." Naruto scratched the back of his head as he turned back to Kakashi, "I used a branch to snag it when you hit the tree." Naruto sent the root back into the ground going back where it came from.
Kakashi heard the alarm go off as he dumbly nodded his head. For a few seconds, it was silence until Kakashi began to speak, "Uhhh I-I oh okay then. Let's get back to the lesson here, Grayfia, Irina, and Naruto. You guys showed great teamwork and worked together very well. Sasuke, you however refused to work with them. You guys passed as soon as you guys began to work together. Though Sasuke, you'll learn to work with everyone." Kakashi gestured to them to follow him. After a little bit of walking, they made it to the memorial stone, "The reason I wanted you guys to see this place, it is because I don't want you guys to make the same mistake I did. Here are the names of my two comrades who died in battle. They were Rin Nohara and Obito Uchiha, they died because of my failure to realize an important life lesson." Kakashi turned to Naruto and the others while pointing his finger in the air, "In the ninja world, those who break the rules are scum, that's true, but those who abandon their comrades are worse than scum. I don't want you guys to do what I did. Now, we'll meet tomorrow for our first mission. Before I leave, Sasuke, Irina, and Grayfia for security reasons and Naruto's safety. I don't want you guys telling others that Naruto has the Mokuton. Otherwise, you'll be stripped of your rank, imprisoned, with your chakra sealed off." Kakashi then disappeared in a puff of smoke.
Naruto looked at his team and said, "Uhhh well you guys want to grab lunch somewhere?"
"Naruto are you serious! That's so cool! You have the Mokuton!" Irina ran over with stars in her then, and she then suddenly reeled herself back, "W-Wait a second! Dang it this makes you stronger than me now!" Irina said with annoyance in her voice.
"Irina, if Naruto could take down Kakashi-sensei by himself. I'm pretty sure he is stronger than all of us combined." Grayfia said with a monotone voice not wanting to make too much of a scene.
"Tch, whatever." Sasuke turned away from the group and began to walk away to do more training.
Naruto let a heavy sigh out as he shook his head, "Well who's hungry?"
"Yeah let's go!" Irina grabbed Grayfia's arm, Grayfia was about to leave but was stopped by Irina.
"Let me go," Grayfia said annoyed as her brows began to dart inwards.
"Awww come on Grayfia-chan! Lighten up! We're a team now, not only that we're friends too! What do friends do? We hang out!" Irina grabbed Grayfia's and Naruto's hands dragging them somewhere to get something to eat.
In the Hokage Office
Hiruzen listened to the other reports on other teams. Kakashi arrived as Asuma was giving his evaluation, "The new Ino-Shika-Cho trio somewhat work well together. Shikamaru issue is being a Nara, Choji I unique as he doesn't like to hurt others, and for Ino. Her issue is to get out of her fangirl state." Asuma let a puff of smoke out as Kurenai slapped his cigarette out of his hands.
"What do I keep telling you! Smoking is a bad habit even if you coat your lungs with Wind Chakra!" Kurenai said with an annoyed and angry tone.
"Mah, mah don't be like that Kurenai-chan, we're ninja we're all going to die someday. It isn't going to be by this little guy." Asuma let a chuckle out as Kurenai just growled at his nasty habit with Kakashi shaking his head chuckling.
"Kurenai-chan how did yours go?" Hiruzen asked curiously while taking a puff from his pipe.
"The team did great, they worked well together without any issues. Though one thing I need to get straight is Kiba's wants to be the dominant alpha. Hinata needs help getting out of her shell. The one student Sakura Haruno is an interesting one, she has the potential to be great with genjutsu. However, she is in her fangirl mode and won't be for some time. I hope I can straighten her out soon." Kurenai finished with her report bowing respectfully and falling back in line.
"That's good." Hiruzen nodded his head as he turned to Kakashi, "Kakashi how did things go with team 7?"
Kakashi let a sigh out as Asuma, Hiruzen, and Kurenai saw the battle marks on his outfit with caused them to raise an eyebrow, "Well how do I put this… well everyone's teamwork is excellent. Grayfia, Irina, and Naruto showed a willingness to work together. Grayfia, Naruto, and Sasuke showed great use in ninjutsu. However, Grayfia and Naruto's ninjutsu seemed to be clearly higher than Sasuke's. As of I know right now, Grayfia can use pure Ice jutsu, not the run of the mill Yuki clan with water and wind chakra natures. She uses pure ice and also has shown great use in her clan's taijutsu. Sasuke as well performed very well in his clan taijutsu as well. Irina was great at close quarters with a sword, not just any sword. She can manipulate her chakra through handles to create chakra swords like the Samurai do back in the land of Iron. Basically, they are a team that works great and could potentially be even more." Kakashi eye smiled at the elderly Hokage as he then said, "Then… there is Naruto."
"Was there something wrong?" Hiruzen asked confused along with Asuma and Kurenai.
Kakashi let a long sigh out, "Naruto not only shows prowess in his Ninjutsu skills. I tested him in everything but genjtusu. Even then I think I would have lost, to begin with."
"W-What? You lost? You're kidding right Kakashi? I mean four fresh Genin?" Asuma looked at Kakashi as if he was joking.
Kakashi closes one eye shaking his head, "When I challenged Naruto one on one, he completely and utterly beat me. If anything, I'd give him the rank of Jonin right now." This received gasps from Asuma, Kurenai, and Hiruzen. Kakashi continued, "Naruto showed three affinities to me, he can use water, wind, and earth. When I mean he can use all three; he can use the three-nature chakra jutsus without any hand seals whatsoever." Kakashi opened his one eye and narrowed it at the ceiling, "Naruto is also great medical ninjutsu as well after he used his mother's superhuman strength to break a couple of my ribs and then severally strain my neck muscles in a punch." Kakashi rubbed where he could feel the ghost pain in his neck, "Naruto's fighting style revolves around him first dodging his enemy and studying their movements from afar, or with his shadow clones. Yes, I said shadow clones, Naruto can make them like they're hotcakes. Once Naruto has your fighting style done, not only can he copy it. He can also improve it helping him speed up his attacks. While using your own fighting style against you, he can also do different things to catch you off guard. He is very dangerous with close-quarters combat. Not only that he can manipulate pure chakra with ease. He can also add nature to that attack as he pleases. When he swings his sword, he uses Wind chakra to enhance his cutting edge, however when it's just pure chakra. He can create a crescent blade that shot out of his sword. Since he can use his mother's monstrous strength, he can actually throw a punch so hard that he sends his chakra punch straight into your face. You wouldn't even see it coming unless you had the Sharingan or Byakugan to see the chakra being thrown at you." Kakashi's eye then began to look at the floor as he took a deep breath and closed his eye again, "It's like being hit by an iron wall, or even taking a straight punch by Tsunade-sama. He might not be on that level, but it still really hurt. Then again I've never taken a full-force punch by Tsunade-sama before. I might have not been going 100% and underestimated Naruto. Then again, he kept surprising me and catching me off guard. I would have possibly lost even if I used my Sharingan."
Kurenai's eyes widen as she asked, "He can do that? Like, throw chakra enhanced punches through the air?! You gotta be kidding me? Kakashi you're like one of the best Shinobi in this village!?"
"That takes some serious strength and chakra control. I'm pretty sure even Jiraiya-sama or Tsunade-sama could have a hard time doing that!" Asuma said with his cigarette hitting the ground. Oh yeah, once the rest of the Jonin and village hears this, they'll never let Kakashi live this down.
Hiruzen began rubbing the bridge between his forehead as he let a long sigh out, "I'm getting too old for this shit. Why did Tsunade have to raise a kid who knew her superhuman strength? Kami what type of child did Minato and Tsunade create?" "Well that's some… big news Kakashi well I'm glad to hear that you passed this team."
"Well actually I'm planning on passing all of them, however, I do request that Naruto be taken off my team." Kakashi stated blatantly which caused Asuma and Kurenai to fall on the ground, with Hiruzen falling out of his chair.
"YOU WANT TO WHAT!?" Asuma shouted as the cigarette he tried relighting falling on the ground.
"REMOVE HIM FROM YOUR TEAM! WHY!?" Kurenai said with confusion and shock.
"Well simple, I can't help him. If anything, I'd be dragging him down, his teamwork is excellent so he will work well with others. Kurenai could help him with genjutsu, Asuma with wind jutsu, and I can help him from time to time with water and earth. Naruto should even go to Might Guy to improve his taijutsu." Kakashi looked over to Guy who just came walking in hearing all the commotion.
"What's going on here? Did I hear one of Kakashi's youthful students needs my help?" Might Guy pointed at himself grinning as his teeth began to… sparkle?
… "Huh? Did you say something?" Kakashi darted his eyes to Guy.
"Darn you Kakashi and your cool hip ways!" Guy said upset as he had anime tears running down his face.
"… oh, one more important thing I forgot to mention." Kakashi closed his eyes as he could not believe he was reporting this.
"What you going to tell me Naruto-kun has the Mokuton. One of the legendary Kekkai Genkai that belongs to his great grandfather Hashirama?" Hiruzen let a chuckle out as Asuma, Kurenai, and Guy began to let out their own laughs. However, their laughs too came to an abrupt stop when Kakashi was scratching his cheek. Hiruzen's face stiffened, "K-Kakashi… I know you understand humor but that was pretty funny… right?" Hiruzen waited for Kakashi to answer as he felt a cold sweat on his neck, "Right?" Hiruzen's smile dropped as he stared at Kakashi.
Kakashi looked at Hiruzen and said, "Hokage-sama… Naruto has the Mokuton. This is no joke."
Just then the window opened up with Jiraiya popping in, "Hey what's up Sensei! How did the little tests to become Genin go for Naruto? Wait don't tell me I knew he'd pass with flying colors!"
"Oh, Kami Jiraiya stop!" Hiruzen began complaining as Jiraiya continued talking ignoring the others in the room.
"Just like his father, damn Naruto is literally the carbon copy of Minato. Man, Naruto really is a chip off the old block! Did his Kenjutsu skills surprise you all!? Rayleigh-dono certainly trained Naruto well! Hell, I bet he even figure out the true meaning behind the bell test!" Jiraiya came walking in laughing as he then froze and realized that there were other people in the room.

Hiruzen at this point could only facepalm and slam his face into his desk. Jiraiya said, "Ops… umm bad timing?"
Hiruzen lifted his head, "Jiraiya of all the god damn stupidest things you could say right now. That takes the cake! Literally how blind are you!? I swear your dumber now than when you were a Genin!"
"Sensei had a SON!? W-What!?" Kakashi's eyes widen in shock.
"W-What!? T-Tsunade-sama and." Asuma this time dropped his lighter that cracked as the lighter fluid leaked out.
"Tsunade-sama… had a child." Kurenai's eyes were wide as saucers along with Asuma and Kakashi.
"Hey! Has anyone forgotten about me!?" Guy shouts… but no one hears. Guy crosses his arms saying to himself, "Author-san making me ignored by others… that's so unyouthfully and damn your revolutionary ways!" Guy then begins to act shocked with his eyes wide as saucers as well.
Jiraiya chuckled, "Ops… uhhh the new Icha-Icha series will be out next month… in case you were wondering." Jiraiya tried to change the subject as Hiruzen and Kakashi have nose bleeds but quickly wiped their noses. However, Jiraiya got the glare from Kurenai as she lowly growled at him.
Kakashi then began taking this seriously as he let another sigh out, "Now that I look at it… man I must be blind even with this Sharingan. Naruto and Minato-Sensei literally look like one another." Kakashi scratched his head.
"Don't worry about it Kakashi, you can still train Naruto with his lighting affinity." Jiraiya walked over patting him on the back.
"He has four affinities!?" Kakashi replied shocked again.
"Wow, I thought the Gaki went all out, how did the Gaki beat you Kakashi? He has never once beaten me and Tsunade-Hime before." Jiraiya scratched his head as he said, "Dammit did the brat use any Fuinjutsu or anything? I mean I know he is already at level 8 but jeez. Did the kid seal away your electrical signals your body sends through the nervous system?"
"HE CAN DO WHAT!?" Asuma screamed with Kurenai at this point not being able to believe in what Naruto can do!
Hiruzen walked over quickly grabbing Jiraiya's ear, "Jiraiya you better shut up if you know what's good for you! Seriously you're going to give away all your Naruto's secrets!? How did you know all this!?"
Jiraiya was able to pull away after rubbing his sore ear, "Well I mean the kid is full of surprises, like me, hell he doesn't even tell me and Hime what he does for training anymore. He came close to beating me quite a few times in fact." Jiraiya let a sigh out, "Though the kid is sure fiery like his mother." As he stood up proud and puffed his chest out, "Though he couldn't be that amazing without me of course."
With Guy and the Author
Hiruzen just shook his head as he now had to explain to the current Jonin that were in the room. "Hey, Author-san why haven't you said anything about my reactions!?" Guy shouted as no one else in the room heard him. They knew he was there but ignored him. "How unyouthfull of you Author-san!"
A/N: Ahhh Shut up, I'm removing your Fourth Barrier Breaking abilities. I only gave you this for now because I'd thought it be funny. Though I don't feel like experiencing that horrendous Genjutsu you and Lee do.
Like that the Author removed Guy's fourth-wall-breaking power reverting him back to normal Might Guy.
No more Might Guy Breaking the Fourth Wall
Hiruzen let a sigh out, "Yes, please keep this quiet everyone. I'll keep it short and sweet; this is an S-Class secret as you cannot tell anyone else that Naruto-kun has the Mokuton and the Kyuubi no Yoko sealed inside of him. That goes for your other student's Kakashi, it is punishable by death."
At this point, Asuma began reading on how to stop smoking and began signing up for a smoking rehab center. Kurenai began trying to learn to be a stripper. Kakashi threw his mask off throwing it on the ground along with his headband saying, "I QUIT!" Kakashi began walking away as everyone got to see Kakashi without his mask. Guy began saying that he was old and unyouthfull as he began walking away depressed.
Once they all left Jiraiya asked, "The hell just happened?"
Hiruzen glared at Jiraiya, "Go fix what you messed up boy, or I'm telling Tsunade-chan you tried giving Naruto an Icha-Icha book."
Like that Jiraiya began sweating bullets as he took off trying to fix what he destroyed. Jiraiya began shoving cigarettes into Asuma's mouth. Jiraiya then brought Kakashi a never before released version of the newest Icha-Icha Vacation for Kakashi. He then went to break Kurenai out of her trance using an Icha-Icha book as a catalyst. (A/N: Okay even I don't know how that worked). Jiraiya had to wear a bowl cut black wig, color in some thick bushy brows, and a green jumpsuit, orange striped leg warmers. He had to chant with Guy that he was youthful, and they went and did a bunch of youthful things together along with Lee. Jiraiya even had to… ooohhh god… Jiraiya had to join them in the monstrous Genjutsu hug with Lee and Guy.
Next Day
Team 7 met up at training ground 7 with Naruto and the others arriving at the same time as Kakashi did. Naruto looked at Kakashi confused, "Kakashi why is your mask down?"
Kakashi quickly put it up, "I can't tell him what I read last night in that Icha-Icha Vacation book." "Just had a rough mission… it went from A-Rank to S-Rank with a bunch of strong enemies. Defiantly was hard, but I was able to complete it." Kakashi then coughed into his hand, "Anyways, Naruto I decided yesterday that you will be removed from the team."
"WHAT!?" Naruto and Irina both shouted in shock and confusion. Sasuke couldn't care less, but Grayfia however was confused and surprised by this.
"Well it's simple, I think you would benefit more if you rotated between teams. Asuma, Kurenai, Guy, and then us. Asuma can help improve or teach you wind Jutsu, Kurenai with Genjutsu, Guy with Taijutsu, and I can help you improve your water and lightning jutsus." Kakashi nodded his head, "Oh and there is a personal Sensei you will be with too. You will meet him at the end of today after some missions. Come on team 7 let's roll out!" Kakashi gestured them to follow him.
"Wait why does the dobe get a personal sensei?" Sasuke narrowed his eyes at Naruto.
"Well Naruto has the Mokuton, I can't say much but someone can help him better control it," Kakashi said as he continued walking and reading his Icha-Icha book. Sasuke grunted at the answer not happy with it, "Who in the hell is going to help me awaken and then improve my Sharingan!?"
End of the Day 5:00 pm
With that, team 7 blazed through multiple D-Ranks with ease completing a total of eight that day, "Good job guys! Naruto, tomorrow you'll be with Kurenai for the day. Naruto, Hokage-sama will then see you. See you guys later Ja Ne!" Kakashi disappeared in a Shushin.
"Yo, we did a great job guys! I'll see you all later!" Naruto waved to them as he made his way back up the Hokage office. He walked up to the secretary's desk, "Hello ma'am, I'm here to see Jiji-san."
"Ahhh he has been expecting you Senju-sama." She politely bowed and opened the door for Naruto.
"You can just call me Naruto, please no need for formalities." Naruto walked inside as the lady shut the door. Naruto let out a gasp of air, "I swear this entire village is going to be the death of me. Senju-sama this, Senju-sama that, why is it hard to just call me Naruto."
Hiruzen let a chuckle out, "What can you do Naruto-kun, anyways I have a couple of friends of mine I'd want you to meet." Hiruzen signaled two of his Anbu to jump down, "Naruto-kun I want you to meet Neko and Tenzo. Neko, Tenzo, for this I'm giving you guys the rank of Jonin for this. On days he isn't with a team, Tenzo you'll help him advance his Mokuton and Neko will further enhance your Kenjutsu skills. Tenzo you will go by your code name Yamato and Neko is Yugao."
They remove their masks as Yamato had short brown hair and black, almond-shaped eyes. Yamato is currently wearing the standard attire of the Anbu: a black, sleeveless jumper under a grey flak jacket with strapped-up shinobi sandals, arm-length gloves with guards over them. He carried a sword strapped to his back. In addition to that, he has a happuri-style forehead protector that frames his face, similar to that of Tobirama Senju, "The name is Yamato it's a pleasure to meet you Naruto." Yamato stood up as he smiled greeting the young Senju Heir.
"Pleasure to meet you too Yamato-Sensei!" Naruto sent back a big grin on his face as Yamato nodded his head.
"I am Yugao Uzuki, it's a pleasure to be your Kenjutsu Sensei." Yugao is a young woman with straight, purple hair reaching down to her waist, warm brown eyes, and a shade of red lipstick. Yugao was also wearing the standard Anbu uniform.
"I can't wait to improve! Rayleigh-Sensei taught me a lot, but I can't wait to learn more from you too!" Naruto unsealed Fushigiri from his wrist and strapped it on his back.
"You trained with Rayleigh-sama?" Yugao said with shock along with Yamato.
"Yeah, he did, he taught me to use King's Blade style. Though, I made sure not to show too much to Kakashi-Sensei." Naruto giggled plainly as Hiruzen couldn't believe that Naruto was this strong for a Genin.
"Naruto-kun you do know you beat one of the best Shinobi I have. Granted he wasn't going all out; you were able to push him back. You didn't even show all your skills?" Hiruzen asked shocked as he already had the written report about Naruto to deliver to the council. Well besides the part he had the Mokuton. To hear that he is also his kenjutsu training derived from the Dark King's was insane.
"Well I didn't show all of them, but I know I went pretty hard on Kakashi-Sensei. If he is anything like Ero-Sennin and Kaa-chan, well I need to give it all I got." Naruto said with a serious face.
"Understandable, well I can see why Kakashi took you off his team. Well, we decided that you would be with multiple Senseis at once. Kakashi can continue training you in any lighting jutsu, water, and earth. Asuma can teach you some wind moves, Guy can help improve your taijutsu, and Kurenai can help you in Genjutsu." Hiruzen smiled as he then gestured to Yugao and Yamato, "These two will continue furthering your training as well. Jiraiya… well he will be here when he is."
"You mean being a sleazy pervert who peeks on women in the hot springs for his smutty books?" Naruto growled out as Yugao, Yamato, and Hiruzen saw the raging flames of hatred towards perverts in his eyes. Yugao knew already she was going to like him; Yamato knew Naruto was going to be an interesting guy to train. Hiruzen could only hope that he never ends up on the receiving end of Naruto's fist.
"Yes, tomorrow you will begin with Kurenai and her team. They meet at training ground 4. Then later on in the day, you will either train with Yugao and Yamato. They will decide on what days to train you, after Kurenai will be Asuma, Kakashi, and then back to Kurenai and so on. Yamato and Yugao will again continue to train you every day as you need. Unless they give you a day of rest or so, your dismissed." Hiruzen stood up and walked over to Naruto giving his surrogated grandson a hug.
"Thanks, Jiji-san see you later Yamato-Sensei, Yugao-Sensei!" Naruto waved leaving the office going to his temporary apartment.
Hiruzen let a smile appear on his face watching Naruto leave, "He certainly is an interesting kid isn't her." Yugao added as she got a nod from Yamato.
"I wonder how far his Mokuton has come along. Do you have any idea what the level it's at?" Yamato asks looking at Hiruzen.
Hiruzen shrugged his shoulders, "He only used it to snatch the bells off Kakashi's waist. That was when Naruto sent him flying into a few trees."
"Sent him flying into a few trees?" Yamato had a sweat drop appear on his face.
"Yup… Tsunade's monstrous strength was passed down to Naruto." Hiruzen wished that no person was to meet the end of Naruto's fist when angered.
Next Day
Naruto came walking to training ground 4 as he saw Hinata, Kiba, Shino, and Sakura. Naruto walked over waving to them, "Yo what's up everyone!" Naruto smiled. Hinata couldn't help but feel a bit shy by this.
"Oh, Senju-san it's interesting to see you here," Shino said with his monotone voice.
"N-Naruto-san." Hinata stuttered out.
"What are you doing here Naruto? I thought you were with Kakashi-Sensei?" Sakura asked confused.
"Tch, great just what we needed," Kiba growled out annoyed, mainly because he already tried to hit on Grayfia. Clearly, she didn't like him, it was Naruto who took her away. However, Kiba didn't see that Grayfia didn't like him. Kiba himself did not hate Grayfia, but he wanted to get to know her better. He was the alpha after all.
"Oh, don't be like that Kiba, actually Naruto isn't really on team 7 anymore," Kurenai spoke up as she came walking up.
"W-What? Why?" Sakura asked confused by this.
"Well it's let me put it this way, Naruto is far stronger than you four combined. Kakashi has to already focus on four students. So, keeping one held back for the others would hold Naruto back. He was trained by two Sannins and Silver Raleigh-sama." Kurenai knew of the legendary Samurai renowned for his kenjutsu and his intimidation ability he had. No one else has been able to copy it.
"What? Rayleigh? As in the Dark King?" Sakura asked shocked to hear that name brought out.
"Yeah, Rayleigh-Sensei taught me his style. However, I've never been able to use his Emperor Chakra ability. I don't even know if I have it, you first need large chakra reserves and need to be born with it." Naruto scratched his head still wondering how he could awaken it.
"Emperor Chakra that sounds quite powerful," Shino added as he pushed his goggled closer to his face.
Kurenai nodded her head, "That's why he is comparable to Bijuu actually. He is also known as Dark Tailed Beast because his charka reserves are so high." Kurenai held up her kunai in her hand, "He also uses a sword made with charka metal that can conduct chakra really well. That makes him even more dangerous than the normal Samurai."
"Yeah, his technique is called King's Blade. It was pretty easy to get down but to truly use it. A wind nature chakra affinity is typically required. The true power comes out, which I learned to do this." Naruto unsealed Fushigiri from his wrist and began to channel his chakra through the blade. Naruto took a stance with his sword as if it was sheathed in its scabbard. After a few seconds of Naruto concentrating, his blade began to glow blue.
Hinata used her Byakugan as she said, "W-woah that's a lot of chakra, there are so many tiny little chakra blades." Just then she turned it off as the others stared in awe. This is why the sword style was named King's Blade after the Dark King himself. The wind chakra that was around Naruto's blade was black as if there was a mini little tornado around the entire blade.
Naruto deactivated it as he let a few huffs out, "It drains a lot of chakra, though I got a somewhat grasp on it. I just need to get better control over it. Besides that, it's definitely one of my strongest attacks, that's if I can land it." Naruto rubbed his pointer finger under his nose.
Sakura was a little nervous, but she had to speak up for her Sasuke-kun, "Still you might be a Senju but Sasuke-kun is still and Uchiha. Uchiha rivaled Senju!"
Naruto had a scowl appear on his face as he began picking his right ear with his pinky finger, "What? You big oaf, you think I'm weaker than your precious Uchiha? Pffftt whatever." Naruto closer to Kurenai as Kurenai knew this was going to be a headache. With Naruto's taunts and jokes towards others, and Sakura's fangirl issues. Which is worse, she doesn't know yet.
"What!? Big Oaf!? How dare you!" Sakura clenched her teeth and fist as she glared at the Senju Heir. This point Sakura was willing to deal with Ino-pig than Naruto.
"Mah, mah you overreact, Kurenai-Sensei should we get to doing missions?" Naruto asked with a bored expression as Kurenai chuckled.
"You enjoying the life with D-Ranks?" Kurenai asked with a smirk while raising an eyebrow.
"Ahhh bite me Crimson-Sensei." Naruto narrowed his eyes at her as Kurenai began rubbing her temples, "This is going to be a long day." (A/N: The name "Kurenai" means "crimson" (紅), while her family name "Yūhi" means "evening sun" (夕日)).
4 D-Ranks Later
Naruto found himself with Shino and Kiba in the men's hot springs bath. They were cleaning with mops on the floor as Naruto let a sigh out, "This isn't what I imagined being a Ninja was."
"Well it's to work on teamwork does it not?" Shino asked making a fair point.
"Well I agree with Naruto here on this one, this sucks." Kiba let a sigh out.
The group soon finished up their job meeting Kurenai at the entrance, "Alright we got one more and it's to help clean out the kennel in the Inuzuka compound. Kiba why don't you lead the way." Kurenai already went to Hiruzen to let him know that they completed the hot springs mission.
They made their way over as they went to the back and met Tsume Inuzuka. Tsume has an animalistic look similar to that of her son Kiba. She has long, spiky, untamed brown hair, vertical slit-like pupils, elongated canine teeth, and nails. She also has the clan fang markings on her cheeks as well as markings over her eyes and a dark shade of purple lipstick. She wears the standard outfit of a Konoha shinobi consisting of a flak jacket and a black suit underneath with the sleeves rolled up and bandages around her legs, "What's up pups! Oh, you must be the new Senju pup huh?" Tsume smirked placing her hands on her hip.
"It's a pleasure to meet you too Inuzuka-san, but please you can call me Naruto." Naruto gave a slight bow of respect.
"Then, by all means, call me Tsume then. The kennels are prepared for cleaning and the dogs are there too. They shouldn't bother you; my daughter Hana will be keeping them in check." Tsume left to go do something else related to her clan.
"You heard the lady let's get a move on them." Kurenai ushered her genin and one Senju to the back.
Once they got to the back Hana was looking around frantically, "Dang it where did she go!" She mumbled out loud. Naruto watched as Hana turned her head towards them. Naruto couldn't help but have a small blush appear on his face. Hana has long brown hair which she wears in a ponytail with two locks of hair framing her face over her large, black eyes. She also wears a light shade of lipstick and has the traditional fang-like tattoos of the Inuzuka clan on both of her cheeks, in addition to a tattoo on her upper right arm that resembles a flower. She wears a brace on her left wrist, bracelets on her right hand as well as bandages.
Naruto doesn't usually find himself blushing or thinking a girl is cute. If he is, well then he must find them somewhat attractive. Naruto shook his head and walked over with the others, "Nee-chan what's wrong?" Kiba asked looking at his sister.
Hana scratched her head, "Good you guys are here, ugh it's Sumo. It seems she got out of the pen again." Hana knew Sumo was a very adventurous dog, she wasn't their run of the mill Inuzuka hound. (A/N: Sumo means Snow, I'm sure you guys can picture a husky with pure white fur like snow).
"Sumo again? This is like the fourth time this week. She always keeps getting into trouble." Kiba shook his head annoyed with the dog.
"Ugh hey can one of you guys help me look for her?" Hana said worriedly for the dog.
"Sure, I'd be glad to help." Naruto stood there as he closed his eyes and used his sense to search around. Naruto stood there for five seconds he then opened his eyes, "I found her." Naruto quickly dashed off to go find the missing dog.
Hana had to stay to keep the other dogs in place, "Hana-san, Kiba, what is so special about Sumo?" Sakura asked confused.
"She is a typical troublemaker of our litter. You see she isn't an ordinary Inuzuka hound; she is a mix between our Hound Dogs along with Grey Wolf with a pure white coat. You see we took in a lone Gray Wolf and healed it. When we released it, we found out that he mated with one of our hound dogs. She gave birth to three puppies, but Sumo's siblings died at birth. Her mom passed later due to complications and our medical equipment wasn't near the level we have it at now. However, she survived, she is quite the troublemaker since she doesn't like to sit in one spot. So she likes to explore a lot." Hana said with a frown as the team felt bad for the little pup.
With Naruto
Naruto ran through the forest of training ground 2 and jumped into the tree. He looked further as he saw the young pup who was about a couple years old. She was surrounded by a bunch of kids bullying the poor dog. Naruto jumped down in front of the kids, "Hey back off and leave the pup alone." Naruto glared at the kids, the kids recognized who Naruto was and they began running off. Naruto shook his head as he turned around and knelt towards the pup, "Hey you alright there Sumo?" Naruto smiled as he extended his right hand out for the pup to sniff. Just then the pup bit down on Naruto's hand drawing blood.
However, Naruto ignored the pain and smiled as he moved his other hand up. The pup flinched in fear, but no pain fell upon her. Instead, the pup found Naruto gently rubbing her right ear with Naruto's left hand upon her head. Naruto said, "It's okay to be scared little guy, now it seems your injured. I'll first take you back to the Inuzuka compound and then heal ya up." Naruto unsealed his lunch he sealed away in his pocket in his black Anbu pants. He opened his lunch up and handed Sumo his ham, roast beef, and salami sandwich. Which the pup let go of Naruto's bleeding hand to eat the sandwich. Naruto scooped the dog up and made his way back to the compound.
With Team 8 and Hana
Hana looked up as Naruto came running back with Sumo in his arms eating a sandwich, "Oh thank kami she is alright!" Hana smiled as she walked over to Naruto.
Naruto set the pup down and examined it, "It seems those damn brats broke her leg." Naruto sighed as he shook his head.
Hana was upset, "I'll make sure to bandage it up and help her heal. It'll take time for her to heal an injury like that. She still yet to make a pact with a clan member yet." Hana took out some gauze and tape.
"Wait, I can heal her." Naruto did the mystic palm jutsu without any hand seals. Sakura couldn't help but watch in awe at how good Naruto was with medical ninjutsu.
"Kurenai-Sensei what is that?" Sakura said interested in what Naruto was doing.
"That's the mystic palm jutsu, by the way, he did it without any hand seals. Proves just how skilled he is in the art." Kurenai had to agree that she was impressed too, Naruto's skills in medical ninjutsu were already far above any doctor or nurses in the hospital.
"Wow, I thought I was really the only medic around here. Seems Tsunade-sama has been teaching you well." Hana giggled; she couldn't help but enjoy looking into the Senju Heir's eyes. The sky-blue orbs that held a lot of happiness and joy. She was only a few years older than him; she certainly wouldn't mind if he asked her out.
"Nee-chan… are you checking out Naruto!?" Kiba sensed this as he could sense his sister's pheromones which disgusted him.
"Ahahah what's it to you Inu-Gaki," Naruto smirked with the nickname as Kiba growled. Kurenai couldn't help but laugh.
"What if I am!? I can be interested in whoever I want to be!" Hana shot back while she continued looking at the young Senju Heir, "Good with dogs, sweet, works well with others, cute, smart, and charming." Hana giggled; she couldn't help it. When there is a good man walking around who couldn't take notice.
Just then there was a quiet, "Heh." From none other than the quiet a monotone Shino Aburame.
Everyone looked at him, "What? Shino did you just laugh?" Kiba looked at Shino shocked.
"Wow, I thought Aburame were supposed to be almost mute," Naruto added which jabbed at Shino's clan reputation.
Shino shook his head wanting to ignore their jabs, "I'm human you know."
"How much though? 50% human? 69% bug? 420% Perhaps?" Naruto was smacked over the head by Kurenai for his crude joke, "What… oh… Hehehe guess Ero-Sennin is rubbing off on me huh. Sorry about that Crimson-Sensei." Kurenai still glared at Naruto for the nickname her gave her.
Hana thank Naruto, "Well thanks for healing her… what? Oh, would you look at that." Hana giggled as she saw Sumo rubbing up against Naruto's leg looking up at him and barking at Naruto.
"Well hey there! Aren't you feeling alright girl?" Naruto sat down and crossed his legs as Sumo jumped into his lap and began to lick his face.
Then Tsume came walking out, "Hana is that Sumo?" Tsume couldn't believe that Sumo was acting like a pup, typically she is alone and wanders on her own.
"Well, Naruto saved her from a bunch of stupid gakis that broke her leg. Naruto is very good at medical ninjutsu and healed her up right away. I'm pretty sure the sandwich he gave her helped seal the deal between them." Hana couldn't help but place her finger on her lower lip looking at Naruto interestingly.
Tsume caught on, "Well Hana… he isn't a bad choice. Just good luck with the boy's mother." Tsume chuckle putting her right hand up giving Hana the a-okay to go after Naruto.
"Huh?" Naruto looked up confused as Kiba growled in annoyance, Hinata blushed, Shino stayed… being Shino, and Kurenai felt like drinking for the first time in a long time.
The group continued to work and clean the kennels with Naruto using Shadow Clone to speed up the process. Sumo never left his side, as a matter of fact. Sumo was always by his side not wanting Naruto to go away. However, all good things must come to an end as Naruto and his team were done, "Good jobs pups, and Naruto stop by more often. I'm sure Sumo would love to see you more often." Tsume smiled as she looked down at Sumo who was whimpering and pulling on Naruto's shirt not wanting to let him go.
Hana, Kurenai, and Hinata couldn't help but see how cute this scene was. Naruto knelt down on one knee and placed a kiss upon Sumo's forehead. Then he placed his forehead against hers and looked at in the eye, "Don't worry girl I'll come by and stop to see you a few times every day. You can count on that; I'll bring you over a treat too." Naruto smiled as he rubbed Sumo's ears earning low happy growls from her. She continued to push her head into Naruto's touch, "I'll see you later girl. Crimson-Sensei I'm going to meet Yamato-Sensei and Yugao-Sensei! Ja Ne!" Naruto began to run off as he waved to everyone else.
Kurenai looked at her team, "Alright tomorrow we're working on a few more D-Ranks. Then it's onto some training. Tree walking will be one, then I'll have you guys work on where you will be expertise at."
"Hai Sensei." They all shouted in unison.
With Naruto
Naruto found himself at training ground 12 as Yamato was waiting, "Naruto you're here good, Yugao had a mission, so it will just be you and I."
"Cool, so we're going to work on my Mokuton jutsu?" Naruto asked excitedly.
"Yes, now can you give me a rundown on what jutsus you can use already?" Yamato asked.
Naruto replied, "Well I know Wood Style: Silent Strangle Jutsu, Wood Style: Tree Wall Barrier, and Wood Style: Domed Wall Jutsu. I can also manipulate just about any plant or tree in about a 100 feet radius."
"Well, it seems we got a lot to work on. Well, why not we start off with the Wood Style: Wood Clone Jutsu." Yamato went through the necessary hand seals. He began to explain the way to use the jutsu, "The clone is created by using chakra to alter the user's own cells into vegetation. I'm sure if you can manipulate plants, you could possibly use plants as clones too." Yamato wondered just how more advanced Naruto's Mokuton would be compared to his and one-day Hashirama's.
"Well let's get to it!" Naruto began to copy the hand seals to perform the jutsu.
After some time, Naruto got the Wood Style: Wood Clone Jutsu as if it was the Shadow Clone. Naruto can, like Yamato theorized, use other plants, trees, or even a blade of grass to produce mass amounts of Wood Clones. Naruto and Yamato practiced on some Earth and Water Jutsu to increase Naruto's ever-growing arsenal of jutsus.
Time Skip Month Later
Naruto went around from team to team training with them. Naruto trained with Asuma, Ino, Shikamaru, and Choji. The first thing Asuma had them do was spar against one another, it was Shikamaru, Choji, and Ino vs. Naruto. However, the battle was mostly one-sided as Shikamaru came very close to beating Naruto. However, Naruto could easily swap himself with the plentiful of Shadow Clones he produced around the field hiding. He could use the substitution jutsu without seals, which made it very hard to catch Naruto. However, Naruto was actually caught without any Shadow Clones. However, Naruto's superhuman strength was able to break out of Shikamaru's shadow possession jutsu beating the Shika-Ino-Cho team.
Asuma got a better idea on how to help his team improve while also adding even more wind jutsus for Naruto. Asuma's only request was for Naruto to teach him to send blades of charka from his trench knives one day. Which was simple enough as Asuma had the reserves and chakra control to do so.
Later Naruto went to train with Yugao, Yugao and Yamato would switch off every day unless one had a mission. Most of the time it was Yugao who had the extra missions as Hiruzen wanted Naruto to get as strong as he could get.
As time continued Naruto rotated with each time, first it was Kakashi, Kurenai, Asuma, and then Guy. Naruto's training with Yugao and Yamato was alternative almost every day, Naruto only continued to get stronger thanks to their help. (A/N: I am skipping Naruto's training for the most part because it be boring for you to read. Honestly typing how he manage to understand each jutsu would be hard to come up with. However, I'm sure with his shadow clone cheat he could easily do so. Thus, making this easier for me to write.)
During the month with the teams, in total Naruto completed 158 D-Ranks and 4 C-Ranks. The C-ranks were simple missions for deliveries that dealt with bandits. What the biggest shocker for everyone else is that this wasn't Naruto's first kill. Jiraiya would often take Naruto with him to clear out bandits that did nothing but pillage and plunder the smaller villages in the elemental nations. This made it easy for Naruto to dispatch them since most of them were womanizers, rapists, and worse. If anything, it kinda scared Jiraiya that Naruto took pleasure in slaughtering bandits that were rapists. That started with Naruto first tying them up, then proceeding to use his punches to disrupt the flow of what little chakra they had to their ball sacks. Ultimately Naruto, removed what made them men, made sure they died a painful and horrid death. Besides that, Naruto was your average Ninja ready to kill when needed. Tsunade didn't like it, but Naruto couldn't freeze when he had to take his first kill.
With Team 7
Naruto was called into the Hokage office, when he walked in he saw team 7 with Hiruzen discussing a mission, "Ahhh Naruto-kun perfect timing, I was calling you here to help out team 7 for a little while. Kakashi thinks they're ready for a C-Rank so, I think it be good to have you tag along. Since you've been on a few already."
"Alright!" Irina said pumped, "I can't wait to show you just how much stronger I got over this month! I've got new moves, techniques that even kept Kakashi-sensei on his toes!" Irina said with a bubbly smile ready to fight.
Grayfia couldn't help but let a small smile out, over the course of the month. That annoying Irina Shidou wormed her way into Grayfia's heart. The two began to form a sort of bond/rivalry. They both saw how strong one another was. They didn't want to be the weak link that held them back, especially because Sasuke was still difficult to get him to work together. Irina is very forward, blunt, bubbly, and happy all the time. Grayfia was literally the opposite as she doesn't show much expression at all. Since Grayfia and Irina were teammates, she reluctantly decided to get along with her, "Alright please send Tazuna in." Hiruzen called out.
The man named Tazuna came walking in. He is a grey-haired, bespectacled man with a large beard and dark eyes. he wore a sleeveless V-neck shirt with an obi, pants, and a pair of sandals. He also carried a towel around his neck and wore a pointed hat on his head, "Tch what is this? I asked for Shinobi! Not brats!" Tazuna growled out annoyed.
However, Naruto looked at him a little confused. Naruto could tell his chakra felt off. Not that he was evil or remotely strong. His chakra reeked of lies, tall tales, and deception. Naruto, for now, stayed quiet as Kakashi spoke up, "Tazuna-san I can assure you that this team will keep you safe. You even have the Uchiha and Senju heir here too." Kakashi said respectfully placing both hands on Sasuke and then Naruto. Tazuna shut up when he heard that the Senju heir would also be escorting him, "Alright team meet me at the front gates in one hour. I'll give you all a mission debrief once we get there. Make sure to pack for about a week or so." Kakashi then disappeared in a shushin.
Naruto shushin home as well, yes Naruto knew the Shushin thanks to Jiraiya teaching it to him once he hit the age of 10. Naruto got what he needed and made his way towards the front gates. Well until he decided to drop by Ichiraku ramen and grab a bite to eat. That was until he came across Ayame cornered again. It was none other than Dai Mitarari, "I said NO DAI! Now leave me alone!" Ayame shouted pushing past him and his goons. Naruto shushin where he would walk past the alley.
Ayame continued to walk as she was twirled around by Dai as he grabbed her wrist, "Now listen here Ayame! Do what I say, or maybe I'll ask daddy to cause you, father, a lot of issues. Issues that he would have to force to shut down his shop!"
"W-What! H-How dare you! I-I!" Ayame froze as she could do nothing, she wasn't a shinobi. Dai's father held a lot of power in the seat of the Civilian Council.
Dai smirked her placed his hand on Ayame's chin as he smirked. Dai went to lean in to capture her lips until he froze, "W-What… I-I c-can't m-move." Dai said not being able to move, Dai tried to move everything as his head would only move. He and his goons saw Naruto standing at the entrance of the alley as he smirked.
Naruto slowly walked forward as a sickly evil smile appeared on his face. Ayame knew it wasn't directed towards her, though it was a little intimidating. Naruto began to speak, "Oh what was it? Man my memory is fuzzy because I'm so damn hungry. You see I was going on my way to Ichiraku Ramen to get something to eat and clear my head. Now I don't know, well I guess I'll have to make something up. I can't remember what I'd do to you guys if I caught you guys doing this again… Dai Mitarari. What was it? Oh right!" Naruto held up a rusty scalpel, "I'd remove what makes you a man with this! Without any painkillers right! Man, all this brainpower is making me hungry, hmm my mind is still fuzzy. Guess I'll just do other things until I feel satisfied after I've given you what you deserved." Naruto had the scalpel in his right hand and a sedative shot appeared in his left hand, "Now, don't be shy whose first up!" Naruto had a flame that began to burn in his irises that practically freaked Dai and his goons that were with him. Naruto made a shadow clone to escort Ayame back to her place.
Once Naruto's clone took Ayame away, Naruto placed down a silencing barrier so no one could hear them. Naruto also used a privacy seal which created a dome wherever he placed the seals. No one can get out, in, hear, or feel that they were in there. Let's just say for Dai and his goons, they won't be having children of their own, and definitely won't be bothering other girls anymore. Once satisfied Naruto left leaving them covered in a heap of their own blood and semen. Along with their ball sacks that were tied together and smeared on the wall nearby. Oh, that part where their balls where tied, and then smeared on the wall. That was when Naruto still had them attached.
At Ichiraku
Naruto arrived at Ichiraku a few minutes later, "Hey you alright Ayame-chan?" Naruto sent a big grin toward she way as she blushed from his good looks.
"T-Thank you again you saved me, but do I even want to know what you did to them," Ayame asked nervously.
"Oh, don't worry about him and his goons. They won't be bothering you or any other girl again… well I'm also pretty sure they're going to also die alone as well." Naruto let out an evil chuckle that made Ayame take a mental note that all perverts will suffer at the hands of Naruto.
"Which reminds me." Ayame smacked him upside the head, "Thanks for dropping by the past month to tell us you were Naruto Senju!?" Ayame glared at him.
Naruto scratched his cheek and let a few chuckles out, "Sorry Ayame-chan guess I've been busy cooking my own meals. That I had this awesome place to come to, I can also cook my own ramen too."
Ayame shook her head as her dad came out with four bowls of ramen, "Come on eat up, this is on the house for saving me." Ayame handed him the bowls and placed them in front of Naruto. Ayame walked around and sat next to Naruto as he ate his ramen. The two continued to talk until it was time for Naruto to leave. Naruto said, "Thanks again Ayame-chan! The food is awesome as usual!"
"Wait before you leave." Ayame quickly gave him a hug, "Make sure my number one ramen fan gets home safe." Ayame gently then let him go and placed a sweet kiss on his cheek as she disappeared waving to him as she went into the back room.
Naruto blushed as he rubbed the spot where she kissed his cheek, "If Kaa-chan finds out about this, I'm pretty sure she is gonna kill me." Naruto remembers how Tsunade told him that if he somehow got some girlfriend before he was even fifteen or even Chunin that she was going to kill him. Naruto knows full well how much Tsunade hates fangirls and the fact that Naruto would even get a girlfriend. Naruto narrowed his eyes at the ground and said, "Troublesome." He then Shushined to Konoha North gates.
Naruto arrives at the front gate with everyone already there and ready to go. Kakashi says, "The mission is simple, we guard Tazuna on our way there. We're heading to Nami no Kuni, so it shouldn't be too bad getting there. We will mostly bandits so it should be easy, we then protect him until he finishes building the bridge." Kakashi signaled his team to begin moving out. Naruto knew that Hiruzen let Yugao and Yamato know that he would be gone for a little while too.
The group began their journey to Nami no Kuni, the team had to be about forty miles outside of Konoha. During that time Naruto used it to catch up on what his team has been doing, "That's great Grayfia, it seems you were able to add some more water jutsu to your arsenal. So, water and lighting release are your affinities. Cool!" Naruto sent a large smile towards he way as Grayfia could help but send a small smile back.
"You know Naruto since I've join Grayfia here is a lot stronger than she leads on to be. Even during the test, she was holding back a bit. She was worried that she hurt one of us or Kakashi-Sensei." Irina patted Grayfia on the back.
Grayfia replied, "I just don't want my jutsu to hurt you guys. It isn't easy to control you know." Grayfia let a sigh out as Naruto had to ask.
"So Grayfia then what is your clan anyways? I couldn't help but notice that you use Ice, though it isn't normal Ice is it?" Naruto had a hunch that Grayfia's Ice jutsus along with her taijutsu were special to her. Grayfia looked at Irina as Irina nodded her head that it was okay. Just then before Grayfia could speak Naruto spoke up, "Damn is it hot out here." Naruto looked up at the sin and then looked back down at the path. This signaled everyone to be on guard which Kakashi was quite happy that he alerted everyone. Just as Naruto finished that sentence he purposely. Tripped on his foot falling just before the puddle that was before them.
Before anything more was said a chain shot out trying to wrap around Kakashi. However, Naruto got there in time and swung Fushigiri enhanced with his chakra. He cut the chain in two which didn't mean Kakashi had to disappear or fake being dead. Naruto quickly ran towards the enemy that were in the tree line. Naruto attacked Meizu, the enemy with the two horns on his forehead protector. Naruto quickly did a roundhouse kick sending him flying into a tree.
Grayfia and Irina quickly went to work as Irina sliced his what remained of Gozu's gauntlet. Grayfia then appeared above him and slammed her fist coated in a block of ice knocking Gozu out. Grayfia went to finish the job until Naruto stopped her, he walked over tying the two up against the tree. Naruto turned to Kakashi, "I'm going to interrogate them Kaa-chan told me a special way to interrogate enemies. Irina… Grayfia if you want you can look away." Naruto removed Gozu's and Meizu's mask and forehead protectors. Naruto enhanced both of his hands and slapped them both away as they quickly tried to break free. Naruto then took Fushigiri and swung up diagonally to the left. Everyone heard a *Kerchunk!* as they looked at Naruto's shining sword. Naruto just as quick as he did the sword slice he flicked his wrist cleaning the blood off the blade while sheathing the sword back into the scabbard that is strapped to his left hip.
Meizu then began screaming and hollering in pain as Gozu stared at Naruto a began to turn ghostly white. Everyone was confused about what happened until Kakashi took a step back and covered his private parts. Grayfia and Irina looked at Naruto in shock, it was brutal but it's a way to get an enemy to talk. If you looked hard enough, about fifteen feet to the left of Naruto. Is the penis along with the two testicles hanging out of the scrotum that once belonged to Meizu. Naruto smiled as he leaned in towards Gozu, "Now… tell me who your boss is…and also who your target it."
Gozu didn't even hesitate he did not want to lose his parts like his brother did, "WE WERE HIRED BY GATO SHIPPING COMPANY! OUR TARGET IS THE BRIDGE BUILDER! THAT'S IT I SWEAR!" Gozu screamed in panic and fear as Naruto smirked.
"Good enough for me." Naruto then swung his blade again from right removing the heads from the Demon Brother's shoulders. Their bodies fell limp with their heads rolling to their laps. Naruto quickly sealed it all away except for Meizu's penis, he was not touching that if he didn't need to. Instead, Naruto sent a small blast of dark wind chakra from his sword to the leftover penis of Meizu disintegrating it into nothing. Naruto put that scroll into another sealing scroll, "Might as well collect the bounties on those two. Irina, Grayfia once I collect the bounties, I'll give you girls Gozu's bounty who you defeated, and some of Meizu's."
Sasuke couldn't help but back up covering his private parts. Kakashi and Tazuna did the same as they watched as Naruto easily dispatched one of those Shinobi's important manhood. Clearly, Naruto didn't give two shits about it. Kakashi let a cough out, "Good job everyone, you too Sasuke even if you didn't attack. You were ready to defend Tazuna… now which brings me to my next question." Kakashi turned to Tazuna as he began to turn pale, "We got some talking to do."
After a little bit of explaining Kakashi said, "Tazuna lied because Nami no Kuni is under Gato's thumb. The city is poor and they have no hope but the bridge, Gato wants Tazuna dead to stop the bridge from being built. This mission just went from C-Rank to B-Rank easily. We should head back because this mission is not appropriate for our level… however." Kakashi could see the determined face on Naruto.
"Heh, go back my ass we're going to see this mission fully through! Getting a cool B-Rank mission on my Bio isn't so bad!" Naruto smirked as he turned to Tazuna, "Besides we're Shinobi we're here to help others who need it. I'm willing to help!"
"Yeah, you can count me in!" Irina chirped bubbly.
"So be it then," Grayfia smirked, she liked the idea of having a B-Rank under her belt.
"Heh, this is easy for any Uchiha-Elite," Sasuke smirked proudly.
"Well, it's settled Tazuna, oh, and let me remind you of a couple of things. Once your village has come out of poverty, I expect payment for the appropriate level of this mission once it's done. Oh, and if anything happens to my Genin team." Kakashi began to glare at Tazuna but was cut off by Tazuna.
"Yeah, I know you'll cut my head off and place it on a trophy plaque on the wall." Tazuna let a sigh out taking a sip of Sake.
"Actually no, I'd be upset and still come after you. However, if something were to happen to Naruto… I'm pretty sure Naruto's Kaa-san won't be too happy. Tsunade-sama will certainly destroy that bridge in one punch. Along with you and me." Kakashi couldn't help but laugh internally when Tazuna began to choke on his sake forgetting that the blonde Gaki's mother is none other than Tsunade Senju. Also, then Kakashi began to cry on the inside because Tsunade would kill him too.
The group continued to walk for a while longer to get to Kami no Kuni. Naruto was sensing around as he quickly threw a kunai into a bush as a bunny rabbit jumped out. The bunny rabbit had white fur, but before anyone could assess what just happened. Naruto quickly ran forward in front of everyone and shouted Earth Wrecker! He punched the ground infusing his chakra into it. Naruto caused a giant chunk of earth to be lifted up which blocked an incoming sword. Once Naruto jumped back towards his team with Fushigiri out. A man jumped over the large chunk of earth appeared with a giant sword on resting on his shoulder. No one said anything and before Kakashi could speak a voice said, "Zabuza Momoichi… the Demon of the Mist." Kakashi and the others turned their heads to see that it was the voice of Naruto.
Zabuza raised an eyebrow and saw a sword in Naruto's hand, "Looky what I got me here, Kakashi Hatake, Cop Cat Kakashi, and with a bunch of Genin too. Though I am surprised that a brat such as yourself knows who I am." Zabuza is a tall and noticeably muscular man with light grayish skin, short spiky black hair, dark brown eyes, and small eyebrows. He is wearing bandages like a mask over the bottom half of his face. He wore his forehead protector sideways on his head, and prior to his defection from Kirigakure, donned the village's Anbu uniform and flak jacket. Zabuza lifted the giant Kubikiribōchō and pointed it at Naruto, "We'll make it easy on yourself Kakashi, why don't you hand Tazuna over. I need his head."
"Sorry, but we can't do that. We heard his village needs help from Gato's tyranny." Naruto knew full well who Gato was and how much power he held. To think that a missing-nin from Kirigakure was helping him out. Naruto had his sword glowing with blue chakra ready to fight, but Kakashi stepped forward.
"You guys stay behind me, make a defensive circle around Tazuna now!" Kakashi ordered as he pulled a kunai out. Naruto and the others did as Kakashi asked as Naruto stood in front of Tazuna.
"Let's just see how well you guys do." Hidden Mist Jutsu! Zabuza created a thick mist as he disappeared causing everyone to feel on edge. Not only that, Zabuza was leaking out a killing intent that seemed to bother the Genins but Naruto.
Naruto said as he kept his senses stretched out, "Don't worry guys."
Kakashi and Naruto both said at the same time, "I'm not going to allow any of you guys to get hurt!"
"Ahahaahah! How precious, now… where can I strike." Zabuza's voice was being thrown from different directions, "Seven places to strike… what will it be? The heart… liver…spleen…jugular…Ahahah my favorite for most attacks!" Zabuza appeared in the middle of the group with his Kubikiribōchō in the air ready to be swung, "Cleaving someone in half!" Zabuza brought his massive cleaver down on Tazuna.
However, he was met with resistance as Naruto brought his sword around quick enough. Not only did Naruto block Zabuza's attack but he also stood his ground pushing back with his own strength, "Tch! Grayfia now!" Naruto shouted as she created some ice kunai from her hand and threw it at Zabuza.
"What!?" Zabuza's clone said in shock as he disappeared in a puddle of water. Zabuza from the mist said, "Well, well, well what do we have here? A Yuki Clan member in Konoha? Well isn't that a surprise." Grayfia and the others didn't reply as Zabuza continued to circle the group.
Just then Kakashi came darting forward and stabs a Zabuza that was just mere inches from Sasuke. Kakashi stabs Zabuza in the stomach with his kunai just before his stroke could fall. Water poured out of Zabuza's body and it collapsed into a puddle as the real Zabuza appeared behind Kakashi, revealing that Zabuza had used the Water Clone Jutsu to fool Kakashi. Zabuza proceeded to slice Kakashi in half, but Kakashi's body too dissolved into water, surprising Zabuza as he realized that Kakashi's Sharingan must have copied the Water Clone Technique as Zabuza charged toward him. Kakashi appeared behind Zabuza, mocking him by saying that it was over.
"W-wait! Why does Kakashi have the Sharingan!?" Sasuke said shocked and confused.
"His teammate when he was just made Jonin during the Third Great Ninja War. Obito Uchiha was his name, died in battle, and gave Kakashi his Sharingan. I was told that story from Ero-Sennin, he said it was quite an important lesson to learn from that story." Naruto said with a serious tone earning glances from Grayfia and Irina. Naruto has done a lot of research in the Bingo Book along with Jiraiya giving him a lot of intel on well known Shinobi around the elemental nations.
Even Kakashi was impressed by how much research Naruto has done. Not many know about that, guess it make sense that Jiraiya would have access to information like that. Minato was Kakashi's Jonin Sensei and Minato was a student of Jiraiya. Just then Kakashi was cut from his thoughts. To everyone's surprise, a second Zabuza appeared behind Kakashi and grabbed him, and the first Zabuza reverted to a pool of water. Kakashi attempted to break free of Zabuza's grasp but was instead thrown into the nearby lake. As he emerged, Zabuza trapped him within his Water Prison Jutsu.
"Damn, Naruto get everyone out of here!" Kakashi shouted until Naruto stopped him from talking as he began walking forward.
"No way Kakashi, that literally goes against everything you taught us." Naruto had Fushigiri ready, "Grayfia, Irina, and you too Sasuke. I need your help with me on this, Sasuke takes the rear and provide backup with Grayfia. Keep his clones at a distance from us, Irina and I well engage at close quarters." Naruto barked out orders which showed already that he was a good leader and knew how to take charge.
"Don't tell me what to do dobe!" Sasuke grunted as he was forced to listen since he didn't have any ideas in mind.
"Well if you got any smart ideas now is the time to speak!" Naruto shouted as Grayfia and Irina readied themselves as Zabuza chuckled at their attempts.
"Hehe well let's just see how good these little kids are eh Kakashi?" Zabuza had four water clones rise out of the water.
Irina had her chakra sword beam to life as Naruto and her both charged forward at the clones. The two Zabuza water clones came straight at them while the other two tried to flank them. However, there were voices that shouted, Fire Style: Great Fire Ball Jutsu! Another voice said, Demon Hailstorm! Grayfia swung her right hand from left to right unleashed a hail of ice spikes from her hand. Sasuke spat out a large fireball as well, both their attacks intercepted the Zabuza clones dismissing them.
"Not bad Kakashi, some of them even know elemental jutsu already," Zabuza smirked while holding the water prison while making a few more water clones.
Naruto and Irina both clashed swords with Zabuza's water clones Kubikiribōchō. Naruto quickly leaned forward as the giant blade passed over his head as he cut the clone's leg causing it to dispel, "Cheeky little brat." Zabuza saw his clone being easily dispatched by Naruto's attack. Irina used this as he also swung her sword to the left forcing Zabuza's Kubikiribōchō to the left too. This allowed Naruto to swing his sword helping to take out the clone in front of Irina. Naruto nodded his head as he went through a few hand seals, Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu! Naruto pulled the water from the air and the wet ground. Naruto fired it at the three Zabuza clones dispelling them, "What!? A brat knows B-Rank jutsu!?"
"That's not all," Naruto shouted, now that Zabuza didn't have any clones Naruto powered up his katana, Chakra Cannon! Naruto fired off a compressed chakra from his sword sending a blade of chakra at Zabuza.
Zabuza had to move, "Oh Shit!" He quickly dodged to the side, but Naruto quickly Shushined to his side. Naruto brought his sword up, from the top right down to the left cutting Zabuza. However, Zabuza reacted quickly enough as Kubikiribōchō took most of the damage and he was just slashed on his left shoulder. Since Naruto couldn't get a good hit he lunged forward as he reared his fist back and punched the Kubikiribōchō dead center causing it to crack and break, "THE HELL!" Zabuza's eyes widen in shock to see his Kubikiribōchō smashed with Naruto's bare fist. Naruto shouted, Stair Way to Heaven! Naruto pushed upwards sending Zabuza into the air. Sasuke came running as he lifted his leg up and smashed it down on top of Zabuza's head sending him back down towards Naruto.
Naruto was there along with Grayfia fist covered in ice with Naruto had his fist charged back up. They both shouted as Zabuza came tumbling back down, Ice Breaker/Shattered Heaven! Naruto and Grayfia shouted as Grayfia punched Zabuza in the jaw and Naruto punching him in the chest. Zabuza felt as at least 4 ribs break as he was sent flying across the water and into a bunch of trees. Kakashi knocked out of his stupor began to go to Zabuza along with his team. However, once they got there a Kiri Hunter Nin was there and then disappeared. Naruto saw the moment before they disappeared that needles were sticking in the neck of the supposedly 'dead' Zabuza Momoichi.
Naruto let a sigh out as he looked at the others. Grayfia seemed fine, Irina was a breathing a bit, Sasuke was breathing, and Kakashi seemed out of it, "Hey Kakashi-sensei are you feeling alright?" Naruto asked curiously.
"Y-Yeah *huff* just a little drained." Kakashi began to fall as Naruto created a clone to catch him, "Just need a little rest."
Naruto nodded his head, "Chakra exhaustion but he should be fine tomorrow. Which reminds me of your eye Kakashi-Sensei. I might be able to take a look into it, try to prevent it from taking so much chakra to use. Maybe even fix some of the nerves to fix it where you can turn it off." Naruto added which Kakashi nodded his head before dozing off.
"Hey, Naruto… do you think Zabuza is dead?" Irina asked curiously.
"That hunter nin? No way, I felt that Hunter nin substitute herself with that white rabbit. They're working together, without real medical ninjutsu. I say we got about a week and a half before Zabuza comes to finish the job." Naruto put his finger on his lip, "It be a week the earliest if Zabuza can heal quick."
"Wait but aren't hunter nins suppose to kill and dispose of the body," Grayfia asked confused, but Naruto had a point.
"Well, typically hunter nins are supposed to cut the head off and dispose of the body." Naruto closed his eyes and searched out for their charka signatures, "I can't sense them they are gone… it's safe to say that Zabuza is alive and that Hunter Nin, she is with him."
Tazuna soon came walking over after he stood by a tree to watch Naruto and his team fight off Zabuza, "I think I need to take back what I said earlier. You guys definitely are Shinobi, are not just kids."
Naruto smirked happily at the change of Tazuna's opinion, "Don't worry Tazuna we'll make sure to keep you safe." Naruto made a couple of clones to help carry Kakashi back home. Then suddenly a messenger hawk came flying down. Naruto put his arm out as the hawk landed on his forearm. Naruto took out the letter that was sent to Kakashi and his team.
It was from Hiruzen,
Good for telling me this Kakashi, I will allow you and your team to continue. It seems you guys are up to do so, just make sure the kids get back safe. Also, tell Naruto that another pandemic broke out in a village near the border of Fire and Water. She is about two hours away from Kami No Kuni. Tsunade-Hime and Shizune-chan can help your team if you so need it.
Hiruzen.
Naruto let a sigh out as he said, "Since Kakashi is out of commission, we'll follow my lead. I'll make sure nothing else happens." Naruto produces ten more shadow clones as they walked in a 50 feet radius to keep them safe.
"Who put you in charge dobe?" Sasuke said angrily.
"Because I came up with the plan to kick Zabuza's butt, plus, Grayfia, Irina, do you guys oppose, or should we let Tazuna be the leader here?" Naruto looked at the four of them.
"Wait why me!?" Tazuna asked scared and shocked.
"Because you're the next best fifth option to pick as a leader," Naruto added as Irina couldn't help but let a giggle out with Grayfia smirking.
"Wait! WHOSE THE SIXTH!" Sasuke snarled back angrily.
"A certain arrogant Uchiha-Teme." Naruto signaled them to begin moving with Tazuna watching Naruto take lead.
The group had about another couple of hours to get there. Tazuna watched as Naruto continued giving Kakashi aid when he needed it. Tazuna wondered, "Hey Naruto I need to ask I know your mother is Tsunade-sama, but I need to know. How confident are you in your medical abilities?"
"Well I'm pretty confident, I can heal broken bones, served tendons, large gashes, but I can't reattach severed limbs like my Kaa-chan. I can treat infections and certain viruses as I don't know how to make vaccines that well without proper equipment. I can treat just about anything unless it's real life-threatening. Why do you ask?" Naruto was beginning to prep Kakashi a bit for a small surgery he could perform. Tsunade and Shizune gave him a set up for surgery if it was ever needed for anything. He had gauze, scalpels, chakra scalpels, rubbing alcohol, morphine (Up to 500 milliliters), ready to use IV fluid bags, and much more. That was stored in his Emergency Surgery Seal on the inside of his forearm guard.
"Well, a lot of workers get hurt often doing the bridge. Either from bandits or accidents, our hospital is highly understaffed, and no one knows medical ninjutsu." Tazuna scratched his head, "I know you guys are already doing so much to help our village out."
"Yeah sure, I'd be glad to help." Naruto smiled back as Tazuna's worried face relaxed. He let a few breathes out as he smiled. That was a load off his chest, there were a lot of people in Nami no Kuni who needed help. Irina had a small smile appear on her face, "Aww that's so sweet."
Grayfia put her finger on her lip curiously, it bothered her what Kurenai has told her before. Kurenai has told her many times.
Flash Back Grayfia was 10 Years Old
Kurenai was informed again by Iruka that even after two years of being in the academy. Grayfia has refused to make any friends at the academy. Yes, her skills in ninjutsu and taijutsu were excellent. She just flunked completely at working together with others. Kurenai and Grayfia walked back into their house. Kurenai spoke up once Grayfia got ready to go outside to train, "Grayfia you're going to need to find friends and comrades you can trust. Like I trust Kakashi, Guy, and Asuma with my life, I care a lot about them because they're my friends."
The little sister of the Ice Queen of Konoha said nothing as she looked at the Kurenai, "I don't understand Kurenai-Nee why work with them when they'll slow me down. Besides most of the girls and boys in the classroom are annoying. The Nara and Aburame are okay, but Nara is too lazy, Aburame is quiet and weird. The Uchiha is too emo for my tastes. Your perfect Kurenai, you have no faults or anything. Why should I associate myself with them when they're going to drag me down? You're not like that Kurenai-Nee your perfect and you're strong. I need to be strong so I can fight by your side and stay by your side."
Kurenai shook her head, "Grayfia you need to learn to trust others too. You don't know who they truly are until you introduce yourself and try to interact with them." Kurenai walked over pulling Grayfia into a hug, "I am not perfect, I may be great at Genjutsu, but I'm far from perfect. I'm not that great at Taijutsu, my ninjutsu is limited because my reserves aren't that high. Enough about needing to be strong, you're still a child. You need friends, and friends are good like me and Asuma are good friends."
"You mean the secret dates you go on, how you won't tell Anko-Nee because she would announce that you seeing Asuma-sensei," Grayfia asked with a monotone voice, she really didn't want to interact with the other kids. She just couldn't trust them nor could she ever really trust any other adults.
"Well yes, that's because I feel Asuma and I have a connection. I like him more than a friend." Kurenai had a blush appear on her cheeks.
"What do you mean like more than a friend? I thought you could only like a friend?" Grayfia asked confused.
"It's called love Grayfia, not the love from a parent like your Kaa-san or Tou-san. I mean love from another person who loves you for you." Kurenai smiled as she rubbed Grayfia's hair.
"Love… how do I know what this love is… you know what happened. I don't." Grayfia knew that she couldn't feel much emotion. She doesn't know how to be a friend in the first place. Even back when she still lived with her Tou-san. She didn't have many friends and didn't know what friendship was. All she learned is that the village hated her and wanted her dead. Even the kids didn't like her… things just got worse. When she fled everyone died because she couldn't control her powers. She couldn't bear to think that if she hurt Kurenai that she wouldn't love or care for her anymore. The only type of love she has ever known was family love from Kurenai who is like a big sister to her.
Kurenai smiled, "You'll know what it's like when you meet a person. When you learn who they are, how strong they are, not physically, but by how they live their lives. If the person is caring, protective, loving, and cares for others by putting his life on the line." Kurenai found it hard to explain to Grayfia, "You'll know it by your heart Grayfia, don't be too cold let that cold heart of yours learn warmth of others."
End of Flashback
Grayfia found herself looking at Naruto remembering what Kurenai told her a couple of years ago, "Naruto huh… guess you aren't all just name and title. You are a real genuine person, but I don't get what you see in the others." Grayfia decided to keep evaluating Naruto to see what type of person he is. In the beginning, Naruto came onto her really strong, however when Kiba tried to do something. Naruto stepped in changing her opinion, but still, he was pretty straightforward when they first met.
Irina couldn't help but smile too at this, Irina didn't mind what Naruto did. If anything, he kept impressing her and exceeding her expectations of him, "He has improved so much since I last saw him. To think I use to think he was annoying… though he is rather cute… wait what!?" Irina slapped her cheeks which confused the others, but they decided to ignore it.
After some time they made it to Tazuna's house as Tsunami waved to them, "Tou-san! You made it back! I'm glad you were able to get help!"
"Tsunami, we need to get a bed ready their Sensei needs to lay down after a fight." Tazuna quickly said as Tsunami quickly ran back inside to prepare the bed, "That is my daughter Tsunami, I also have a grandson named Inari, I hope you all like it here. Think of this place as your home away from home."
