Hello! Back with another chapter! Sorry for the long delay as I've been working on other stories. For this one, I've been going back to the drawing board with this. Been trying to see how I wanted to approach this chapter! I hope you all enjoy this chapter as everyone will begin to see Naruto's true strength.
Last Chapter
"Huh… Satsuki or Grayfia… then what about the others." Naruto stood up with everyone else leaving with him. Naruto turned went to leave the building, "Naruto where are you going?" Tsunade asked as she tilted her head.
"For some fresh air… I need to clear my head." Naruto went to leave the Hokage building as Satsuki followed Tsunade into the Hokage Office. Naruto walked outside as he took in the fresh and breathed out. He then stopped and saw the sight in front of him, it caused a smile to appear on his face.
There was Grayfia walking with Yui and Eri, Eri on her shoulders, and Yui holding her hand walking and talking to her. Naruto smiled seeing the two get along with Grayfia even after everything that has happened, "Eri and Yui won't stop talking about Satsuki and Grayfia." Naruto turned his head to see Shizune walking up next to him, "When you were unconscious Grayfia and Satsuki spent every waking moment either visiting you or with them."
"Grayfia really has changed, hasn't she?" Naruto smiled seeing his two surrogated sisters happy.
"Yes, Hokage-sama still has Anbu watching over her. She still has another two or so weeks until she is in the clear again." Shizune looked down to see Naruto, he reminded Shizune of Nawaki and Dan.
"Ne… Nee-chan what do you know of dating." Naruto rubbed the back of his head blushing as Shizune placed a hand over her mouth giggling. Naruto began to groan as Shizune knew what was going on.
This Chapter
It's been a week so since the invasion of the Leaf from the Sound and Sand. Naruto's mother was announced as the next Godaime Hokage of the Leaf. The other day was her ceremony as she was sworn into office. Much to her chagrin, she had a lot of work ahead of her that was left behind from Hiruzen. She was currently sitting in her office cursing her old Sensei for the job. Though she did pause as a smile formed on her face.
It was a long week of rebuilding, but alliances were reforming and being rebuilt, and others being formed. Kumo, Kiri, Suna, and even Iwa wanted an alliance. Also, her Naruto has grown a great deal from everything that has happened. Hell, she even let him start looking into girls, yeah that was something she was getting used to. Before she wouldn't let a girl even lay a finger on him.
Tsuande let a sigh out as she slumped into her chair. She put the brush up to her lips as she pondered, "Wonder who he will go for? Will he go on having one wife, if so, I'll back him up. Though, will he want to have a… a oh Kami Jiraiya wouldn't shut up about it. Would Naruto have a harem." Tsunade didn't care for the word but she had to face reality in that. Though, the boy had a long way to go before deicing on someone.
Just then Tsunade looked up and let a sigh out, "Alright get in here already!" Tsunade said ticked off as Jiraiya came walking through the window. She didn't even need to turn around to know he was walking through the window.
"Hey Hime! I wanted to stop by, I got some more info on the Akatsuki." Jiraiya narrowed his eyes as Tsunade tensed at the name, "I've heard that they have begun to move quicker. The three and four Tailed Jinchurikis have gone missing. Tsunade they're picking up the pace, I've heard rumors of them currently hunting down the six tails."
Tsunade grippe her fist on the desk crushing the edge of it. Hiruzen was sitting in the room worried for Naruto's safety, "Dammit what do you want me to do Jiraiya!? Do you have any idea on what to do!? I mean we can keep training him as much as we can, but he can only do so much!"
Jiraiya knew Tsunade could launch him halfway across the Elemental Nations, "Tsunade let me take Naruto away from the village for a few years. I can help him get stronger, where he can defend himself, I know I can."
Tsunade nodded her head and thought about it, she looked at Jiraiya intently and closed her eyes. She let a sigh out, "Fine… three years… three years only I want him back." Tsunade glared at the pervert as he smiled happily, Hiruzen was surprised by this." Just then Tsunade Shushined behind Jiraiya as the air in the room began to drop. Hiruzen began to shudder as Jiraiya did as well, Tsunade appeared behind Jiraiya as her face was blacked out. A single eye began to glow, "Jiraiya… if you come back, and he so much as said you tried to do something to him. Tried to read him a perverted book! I SWEAR JIRAIYA! THE THERE WILL BE NOWHERE FOR YOU TO RUN OR HIDE! YOU BETTER PRAY TO THE SAGE OF SIX PATHS THAT HE DECIDES TO PROTECT YOU FROM MY WRATH!"
Jiraiya began to buckle underneath Tsunade's ever-growing rage and motherly instinct. Even Hiruzen gulped as he shoved his face back into a children's book. He did not feel like being on the receiving end of Tsunade's fist, "Alright! Alright!" Jiraiya was scared she was going to beat him before anything could happen!
Hiruzen thought about it, "I know why not also send Tenzo." Hiruzen snapped his fingers as Tenzo landed next to him, "Tenzo would you be willing to go with Jiraiya to help train Naruto?"
"As you wish Hokage-samas I will do my best." Tenzo, aka, Yamato was the teacher who helped Naruto improve his Mokuton.
"Yeah, I'm fine with that, having him join would be fun!" Jiraiya smirked as he was more than happy to have a buddy… maybe even a drinking partner! Someone to join him at a brothel!
"I know, Jiraiya, you and Tenzo should just train Naruto for the first two years. Then the third year he should train with one of my personal Anbu." Hiruzen suggests as Jiraiya placed a hand on his chin.
This gives him two years with the brat along with Tenzo too. Then it also gives Naruto experience as an Anbu, a level that would help him in the future. "It's settled then! In a weeks' time, we'll head out! You'll probably want to go inform Naruto, so I'll get going! I got some other contacts to take care of see ya guys!" Jiraiya disappeared in a puff of smoke since he was reversed summoned.
"Alright, Neko! Go fetch Naruto for me!" Tsunade called out as she felt Neko's presence leave the building.
Hiruzen placed his hand on his chin, he was curious about an idea that he wanted to try out, "Tsunade… I might have another suggestion for someone to join you on their training journey. A private Anbu that's been serving me for a while. He is highly trusted and is on par with me, Jiraiya, and you in power. Though I don't know if it's too late, I'm hoping you can… cure his illness maybe?"
Tsunade raised an eyebrow, that's when Hiruzen placed up the silencing seals, though Tsunade did make sure to dismiss all the other Anbu in the room beforehand. Hiruzen also pulled out some sake from a storage seal on his robe. Hiruzen began to tell the tale of the Rogue Uchiha.
With Naruto
Naruto was currently sitting at Ichiraku ramen with Eri and Yui sitting next to him, "How you girls enjoying the ramen?" Naruto smiled happily at his surrogate sisters.
"Man, I love it!" Yui began to dig in like Naruto was.
"It's good, but Onii-chan where is Satsuki and Grayfia! I want to hang out with them." Eri wondered where they were, they promised they'd come by to hang out. They were going to go shopping and looking around for clothes.
Just then Naruto turned his head, "Oh hey look Eri! Yui! It's Rayleigh-sensei!" Naruto waved to the old man who came walking up to Naruto.
"Hey kid, I came by to see ya off. I'll be heading back to the Land of Iron soon, keep training Naruto. Keep at it, if you ever need anything, don't hesitate to visit or write to me." Rayleigh chuckled as he ruffled Naruto's hair.
Just then Neko landed by them, "Naruto-sama, Hokage-sama as requested your presence in the Hokage tower."
"Sure, I'll be there!" Naruto got up and walked next to Neko, "It was great to see ya Rayleigh-sensei! Thanks for everything! Hopefully, you can stop by or I'll stop by!" Naruto stretched his senses out to search for them, "Oh Yui, Eri I sense Grayfia and Satsuki coming. Go that way." Naruto pointed to the left of Ichiraku ramen as Eri and Yui waved goodbye to their big brother.
Naruto and Neko then appeared in the Hokage office with Naruto waving to his mother, "What's up Kaa-chan! Jiji-san!" Naruto walked towards the front of his mother's desk.
"Hello Naruto." Tsunade let a long sigh out as she put the saucer of sake down.
"You started drinking again? Kaa-chan come on you know that's not a good thing." Naruto placed his hands on his hips as his mother scowled back at him, "Besides you shouldn't be drinking on the job."
Hiruzen chuckled, "Sometimes it's needed Naruto-kun, I had to fill your mother in on some secrets before you came. Kage stuff, anyways take it away Tsunade." Hiruzen went back to reading his Icha-Icha as he felt the glares from Naruto and Tsunade staring at his book.
"Anyways, Jiraiya came back here and told me that he was going to take you on a training trip. A week from now you'll be going with him and two other senseis as well. Yamato and an Anbu who works personally for Hiruzen. He is currently out on a mission right now, but he will come by later." Tsuande began to sign forms allowing Jiraiya to take Naruto, "Jiraiya will be with you the majority of the time. However, Jiraiya will be accompanied by Yamato to help further your Mokuton. Then in your third year, you'll be trained by Sensei's personal Anbu. The Anbu is on our level, so he or she will be worth your time."
Naruto frowned a bit, "That means for three years I won't be able to see Eri or Yui." Naruto frowned, "Not to mention my friends that I made too…" Naruto looked to the side dejected a bit, he began to think about Satsuki and Grayfia. He blushed a bit thinking about Satsuki's confession and Grayfia trying her best to regain his trust.
"I know Naruto, but we need you to get stronger." Tsunade stood up from the desk and walked over and knelt to his height. Tsunade placed her forehead to his and smiled, "I don't want you to go away either, if I could have, I would have wiped out the Akatsuki already."
"I-I see then…" Naruto said quietly as he looked at his mother and closed his eyes, "Well I'll train hard and come back Kaa-chan. Besides I can't die yet, I need to get stronger so Eri and Yui can be safe. So, I can protect you and Nee-chan. Jiji-san and the rest of the village too." Naruto turned his head as he looked at the ground and back up at his mother with a smile on his face. His face changed from a smile to a foxy grin appearing on his face.
Tsunade smiled, "How about a bet then… you hold onto this. I bet that you'll die with this, if you do then I'll take it back. However, if you succeed in coming back you get to keep it." Tsunade took her grandfather's necklace off and placed it on Naruto.
Naruto opened his eyes to see the Shodai's necklace on his chest, "Kaa-chan… you sure?"
"If I'm terrible of a gambler I know I am, then I know you'll come back to me alive." Tsunade has never been apart from Naruto no longer than a couple of weeks. To think he would be gone for three years, only ever get letters from him. It worried her a great deal, so this bet would guarantee he would come back to her.
"Kaa-chan… I can understand you're worried, but I don't think I've ever seen you this scared." Naruto placed a hand on his mother's cheek, "What's going on?"
Tsunade looked down with worry in her eyes, she had to tell him. He was the literal target the Akatsuki were after, "For years Naruto, a group of SS-Rank shinobi have been hunting down Jinchurikis. We don't know their main goal, what their reason is for collecting them all. However, it can't be good… I don't want to lose you, I don't want to lose you how I lost Nawaki… and Dan."
Naruto recognized the name Nawaki, but this is the first time he heard of Dan, "Dan who is that?"
Tsunade rubbed her tears away, "Before Minato and I… copulated and had you. I had a man I loved, he was Dan Kato… he was Shizune's uncle and my lover." Tsunade turned her head for a moment as Naruto put all the pieces together, "During the Third Great Ninja War, is when I lost the most precious people to me. Not only that but to the same goal too. Hashirama-Jiji, Tobirama-Ji-san, Nawaki, and Dan… they all either became Hokage or wanted to become Hokage, they died also wearing that necklace as good luck. So, I figured if I turned the luck around on myself. It would bring you back to me… I can't lose you Naruto. I can't lose you, Yui, or Eri, you're the only family I have left." Tsunade began to break down in Naruto's arms as he held her close.
Naruto held his mother close; his mother was strong, he knew that Eri, Yui, and himself was her world. They gave her strength, but also her greatest weakness too. Naruto closed his eyes and hugged his mother back, he held her not wanting to let go of her. Naruto saw something as well, his mother was so strong, but yet so kind and sweet. Someone who would do anything to make sure her loved one were safe. The people she cared about is what drove her to be her best and do her best.
Those similar characteristics are something he was thinking about. He couldn't understand it, but he knew whatever it was. He was going to follow it because that's what he liked about seeing in people. Maybe specifically girls, Grayfia seemed to have some characteristics like his mother. Satsuki showed a lot of that in herself, Kuroka was very straight forward like Satsuki too. His mother could be very straight forward. Besides the perverted side of Kuroka, she was similar in character like his mother.
Soon Tsunade stopped crying and gently broke the hug. She sniffed and sighed, "What am I going to do with you." She placed a hand on his head, "Enjoy the rest of this week you leave in a weeks' time. I think Eri and Yui will want to spend as much time as they can with you. I'm sure you'll want to see your girlfriends too." Tsuande smiled back at Naruto using his own foxy grin on him.
Naruto had a smile form on his face, "Ehehe you really do look like me Kaa-chan." Naruto gave her a hg and began to leave, "See ya later Jiji-san! I should probably enjoy what time I got then!" Naruto turned leaving through the door.
The two watch the boy leave as Hiruzen smiled, "I can't wait to see how powerful Naruto-kun will become. I have no doubt he'll become very powerful."
"Yeah… sometimes I can't tell what personality he picked up more from. Either me or Minato, but sometimes I swear he picked up more of his personality from him." Tsunade sighed as she shook her head a bit.
"Ahaha, well regardless of who raised him. You raised an excellent son Tsunade, I can't tell you how proud I am of you." Hiruzen looked at Tsunade as she turned her head away from him with a blush on her face.
With Naruto
Naruto left the Hokage tower thinking to himself on his training journey he was going to go on. Naruto made his towards the shopping district, he stretched his sense out to find Yui, Eri, Satsuki, and Grayfia. He turned his head and sensed them towards the clothing part of the mall, "Figures." Naruto began to walk as he received many greetings from a lot of people.
Thankfully Naruto got there quickly and entered the clothing store. He came walking around the corner as he saw Yui and Eri both in dresses. Though he did blush seeing Satsuki and Grayfia in dresses too, "Well are you guys looking fancy?" Naruto chuckled out.
The girls turned their heads to see Naruto as he complimented them. Satsuki blushed, she was wearing a simple slim blue dress that came down to her knees. She had on a pair of blue heels, which were quite difficult to walk in. Grayfia was wearing a similar color, but her dress came down to her ankles and poofed out a bit more on the bottom. Eri was wearing a white dress with flower accents on the frill of the dress. Yui had on a crimson red dress that matched her appearance perfectly, "ONII-CHAN!" Yui ran up as Naruto scooped her up and twirled her around.
Naruto then set her down, "Hey! Seems you four are enjoying yourselves!"
"Yeah, we are! We got to try on so many pretty dresses! We got to look at stuffed plushies! Too!" Yui chirped happily.
"Yeah, we got to pick one out!" Eri ran around to the side and pulled a plushie out of the bag. She held up a penguin as she held it close.
"I got this!" Yui held up an eagle, however, the bag fell over as two more stuffed animals fell out.
What fell out was a white polar bear and a black duck. Naruto looked at them and chuckle a bit, Grayfia picked up the polar bear, Satsuki the duck, and the two put them back in the bag. They both had blushes on their faces, they didn't want Naruto to see their soft side, "Don't ever say anything" Satsuki glared at him as Naruto put his hands up in defense.
"Y-yeah! Loud and clear!" Naruto laughed nervously as he tried to change the subject, "Hey you guys want to go take a walk? I gotta talk to you guys, my Kaa-chan told me some important news that you'll want to hear."
Satsuki nodded her head, "Sure, I got nothing going on, you free Grayfia?" Satsuki looked at Grayfia as she nodded her head.
"I'll come, I got time to spare." Grayfia didn't want to leave Satsuki any chances to steal Naruto away. Then again, Satsuki did bring up the CRA to her which did pique her interest.
The group went and dropped off all the clothes back at the Senju compound. The group began to walk towards the forest as Yui hopped onto Satsuki's shoulders. Eri was on Grayfia's shoulders Naruto smiled was glad that they got along really well. It made him happy that after everything that Eri and Yui still ended up forgiving Grayfia. That made it that much easier for Naruto to forgive Grayfia. She just needs to earn his trust again, "What did you need to talk about Onii-chan?" Eri asked curiously but Yui cut in.
"Oh! Are you choosing Satsuki or Grayfia to be your girlfriend!?" Yui piped in excitedly as Naruto began to choke.
"Ack! *Cough* *Cough* W-What!? N-No! No!" Naruto quickly added as he let a sigh out, Grayfia and Satsuki couldn't help but blush. Naruto regained his composure, "I wanted to bring you guys out here to talk since I'll be leaving the village."
"WHAT!?" Eri and Yui both shouted in shock and sadness
"I don't want you to leave!" Eri said worriedly but Naruto placed a hand on both Eri's and Yui's thigh.
"I'm leaving because Ero-Sennin is going to train me for a couple of years. Along with Yamato-Sensei too, then I'm training with a personal Anbu who works to Jiji-san for the last year, so in total, I'll be gone for three years." Naruto gave the four ladies a small smile, he knew that Eri and Yui would miss him deeply.
"I see… well don't think you can't get ahead of me. I still need to honor my family name, we're still clan rivals. Don't think you can get ahead of me." Satsuki smirked; she would have to ask Tsunade to see if she can go on some training journey. Her best bet would most likely be Kakashi and Yugao to continue working on her Kenjutsu skills.
"Well, when you get back, I'll be stronger Naruto. I'll make sure to look over Yui and Eri while you're gone." Grayfia felt Eri's hands playing with her braids she put her hair into. She smiled at Naruto as he smiled back at her.
"Hey, I just realized we're at training ground seven." Naruto recognized the place as he saw Irina training with Yugao.
The two were in a heated Kenjutsu fight with Irina doing her best to block and parry Yugao's strikes. Yugao did her best to read and anticipate Irina's strikes, the two continued for a little longer as they stopped, "That's enough for now Irina, I need to get back to my post. Let's pick this up later what do you say? Tomorrow around this time?"
Irina fell on her knees letting out tired breaths as she nodded her head, "Y-Yeah! See ya later!" Irina slowly stood back up to see Naruto, "Hey guys! Good to see you here!" Irina said with a tired look on her face.
"Hey, Irina! Training hard I see, since we're here I might as well tell." Naruto began to explain that he was leaving for training for a few years.
Irina smirked as she held her sword up and pointed the tip at Naruto, "Heh! Well, when you get back, we'll have a spar to see how much you've grown. I plan on going back to the Land of Iron to continue my training. Rayleigh-Sensei and I are preparing to leave in a few days."
"Well, you guys have a good journey! I'll be sure to be there when you head off!" Naruto saluted to her as Irina took her belonging and prepared to leave. Irina waved as she left, "I wonder what Neji is up to?" Irina began to walk towards the Hyuga compound.
Naruto turned to Grayfia and Satsuki, "Well we should probably begin heading back, it's getting late. The sun is already going down, didn't think just walking and talking could make time fly."
Satsuki and Grayfia let the girls down from their shoulders with pouts on Eri's and Yui's faces, "Well you girls take care, we should all do some joint training here and there." Satsuki suggested as Eri and Yui both nodded their heads.
"Yea! I can't wait until I get my second tomoes! I'm going to get super powerful!" Yui added with determination in her eyes.
To think that Yui was an Uchiha, her ancestors would be rolling over in their graves.
"Yeah, I'm going to keep training with Kaa-chan and Tou-san. I'm probably going to look into being a combat medic." Eri like the idea of being able to fight while also being able to heal others.
"You girls keep at it; I expect great things from you two. Satsuki, Naruto you two take care." Grayfia waved as she took her leave walking back to her and Kurenai's house.
"Your compound is on the way to ours wanna walk with us?" Naruto asked politely as Satsuki agreed to.
"So, what do you think training with Jiraiya is going to be like?" Satsuki wondered curiously.
Naruto made an annoyed look on his face, "He's probably going to try to screw off after telling me to practice a jutsu or something. Probably go peep in the woman's bath or something." Naruto said annoyingly.
Satsuki frowned, "Well hopefully he takes your training seriously, but why are you being taken out?" Satsuki asked curiously as Naruto looked at her with a small smile on his face.
"Can't say, Hokage stuff, besides I'm sure you'll learn soon enough. Will you continue to train with Kakashi and Yui?" Naruto asked as he found himself walking side by side next to Satsuki. He also noticed that Eri and Yui quickened their own pace and walked ahead of them. He saw Yui slightly turned to him giving him a thumbs up pushing her fingers together to tell him to kiss Satsuki.
Satsuki was unaware of what Yui was doing as she was focused on Naruto. Naruto blushed as he quickly shook his head, "Yeah, same, besides if I told Kaa-chan she'd burst a blood vessel and send him all the way to Kumo or Iwa from here." Naruto chuckled as Satsuki laughed too.
"Well, you're not wrong." Satsuki placed her right arm on her left bicep-tricep area as she rubbed it gently. She was alone with Naruto as she nervously looked at him.
Naruto noticed the look on her face and noticed that they were alone. Naruto decided to ask her since they were together, "Hey Satsuki… why did you really agree to the CRA idea? I wasn't even going to go for it."
"Well… I figured it gets them off your back. I was okay with it, I really am." Satsuki quickly tried to prove her point that she didn't want to force the CRA onto him. Nor was she trying to use to so he could get out of it, "Plus I wanted to show you that you… I-I."
Naruto stopped her, "You don't need to say it Satsuki, I know. I know from Grayfia too, I'm not that oblivious to your feelings. I'm a sensor Satsuki, I know how you're feeling. I know that Grayfia has the same feeling you do too." Naruto smiled as he looked up at a tree, "Follow me." Naruto made a 'follow me' gesture with his hand. Naruto walked up to the top of three and stood on a branch.
Satsuki followed as she came to the same spot with Naruto. She saw that the sun was going down The sky was turning to an orange-yellow like color, it was pretty. Satsuki smiled at the sky, "It's pretty."
Naruto smiled as he looked towards the Hokage Monument and saw his mother's face is carved into it, "I really do care about you, you know that Satsuki?"
Satsuki began to blush as she looked at him startled, "W-What!? T-That was sudden!"
Naruto laughed a bit, "I know it was, but I don't think I'm ready just yet. To commit to something, I'm not ready for that. Besides, I'm comfortable, I have people that I already love and care about. Eri, Yui, Kaa-chan, Jiji-san, Shizune-Nee, everyone… including you and Grayfia." Naruto knew how he was feeling, right now he needed to focus on getting stronger.
"I-I see…" Satsuki was a little upset, but she respected Naruto a lot for that, "I'm not upset… okay that's a lie, maybe a little. But I am glad you aren't ready to dive into a relationship."
"Well, I absolutely have no idea how to handle a relationship, I'm assuming it should just be natural." Naruto scratched the back of his head; he has had no romantic experience. Let alone how to handle a date.
Satsuki shook her head, "No rush Naruto, we have time, but to let you know. I'm okay with it and so is Grayfia." Satsuki looked at Naruto as she leaned close to him resting her head on his shoulder.
Naruto was a bit shocked by the close contact from Satsuki. Just then Grayfia appeared next to him, "Grayfia?" Naruto was shocked by her sudden appearance.
"I'm not all that good with words Naruto, I've done things that hurt you. I don't want to force you to love me or anything. All I ask is for a second chance." Grayfia asked with her arm linked through his left arm.
Naruto let a sigh out as he looked straight ahead, "I forgave you a while ago Grayfia, when Eri and Yui forgave is the day I forgave you. I knew you weren't a bad person. As for what we were just talking about. We'll discuss this more when we're older, glad we had this talk. We should probably get going, Kaa-chan is going to kill me if I'm late for dinner."
"Well then let's get you there." Satsuki gently lifted her head off of Naruto's shoulder as Grayfia stood up.
"I'm an ice clone by the way, but yeah. Thanks, Naruto, that makes me feel better. I'll do my best to never hurt you again Naruto." Grayfia gently placed a kiss on his cheek as the clone then melted into a puddle.
Satsuki puffed her cheeks out as Naruto and her dropped back to the ground. With that, the two continued to walk back to their respective compounds in silence.
Time Skip Day Before Naruto Leaves
Naruto was out with Eri and Yui on training ground 7, Naruto was going to be spending the day with them. Mainly because he was leaving tomorrow with Jiraiya on his three-year-long training trip. Naruto was currently helping the two work on increase their chakra reserves by teaching them to tree walk. It took them a little bit to get going on the tree walking, but they got the hang of it, "Alright girls keep at it, don't stop until you can do it like you're breathing. "You got Onii-chan!" Yui continued to walk up and down the tree trying to grasp the tree better.
However, Eri was walking up and down the tree like a pro. She had little to no issue doing it at all, "Woah look at you Eri! You're a natural!" Naruto stated proudly as Eri was currently standing upside down on a branch.
"Don't think you've gotten ahead of me yet Eri! I'll catch up!" Yui shouted with determination continuing to run up and down the tree quicker than normal.
"Don't strain yourselves too hard, Yui you keep doing that. Eri come down here with me, we'll begin on some Taijutsu." Naruto fell into a Taijutsu stance ready to do a light spar with Eri.
Just then Naruto sensed someone approaching them from afar. Naruto shot his head to the side and narrowed his eyes. Eri noticed Naruto's sudden change in attitude, "Eri… Yui… go… go home now. Get Kaa-chan, Tou-san, or Jiji! Now GO!"
Eri and Yui both stood still for a moment and hesitated as a blur appeared before they could leave. Two people stood in Eri Yui's way. Naruto quickly ran in front of Yui and Eri protecting them, "Well, well, well if it isn't Itachi Uchiha and Kisame Hoshigaki." Naruto was nervous as they stood in front of him.
"Well, it's the infamous last Senju, I don't know whether I should be honored or not." Kisame smirked placing Samehada on his shoulder.
"Naruto Senju, come with us quietly." Itachi stated with his cold and monotone voice.
Naruto looked back towards Eri and Yui, "You two need to go now!" Naruto slammed both hands on the ground as the earth shot up launching the three into the air. However, Itachi and Kisame both jumped into the air at the same height as Naruto. Naruto grit his teeth as he began to spin in the air and charged chakra into his hands. He created a shadow clone that kicked off of his head. He then threw Eri and Yui, thankfully Itachi and Kisame were too focused on him. However, his clone was taken out as an Itachi clone grabbed both Eri and Yui out of the air.
They all landed on the ground safely with Naruto gritting his teeth, "Let them go! NOW!" Naruto summoned Fushigiri from his wrist ready to fight.
Kisame smirked, "Ahh! He is a kenjutsu user huh! This should be interesting!"
"Remember leader-sama wants him alive." Itachi spoke with a monotone
"Onii-chan! NO! Run away!" Eri shouted trying to break free of the clone's grasp.
"Yea! We're fine!" Yui struggled to break free of C. Itachi's grip. (A/N: C. stands for Clone)
"No way am I leaving you two! I'll fight if I have to! I won't let them hurt you!" Naruto ran forward knowing he wasn't going to win. So, he would do everything to get Eri and Yui free and get them away from here.
Kisame smirked walking forward blocking a slash with Samehada. Naruto only did one slash at Samehada, he knew what the sword could do. Naruto ducked underneath Kisame's guard as Naruto launched his foot at his shin, Naruto made sure to send chakra into his foot, "AHHH! SON OF A!" Naruto then flipped forward and shot forward with his sword pulled back. Naruto slashed at Kisame's throat; Naruto continued to run at Itachi.
Itachi held a kunai out and blocked Naruto's attack. Naruto then pushed his sword down which brought Itachi's kunai down, "Impressive strength." Itachi mentally praised as his arm was forced down with Naruto's strength, "Kisame what did I tell you about underestimating him, granted I did it too. I didn't think his strength would be this great." Naruto brought his foot up to kick him in the head, but Itachi raised his left arm to block Naruto's foot. Naruto used Itachi's arm as used it to rotate himself around Itachi. Naruto brought his sword with him and launched himself off Itachi. However, Itachi grabbed his foot forcing Naruto to be pulled back. So, Naruto raised his right arm where his sword was at and threw it at C. Itachi. Naruto knew where he was aiming so he prayed her didn't hit Eri and Yui.
Itachi noticed Naruto's true goal, which was his clone. Then again, of course, Naruto would do anything to save his surrogated little sisters. Fushigiri was sent flying at C. Itachi, but the hope in Naruto's eyes faded as Kisame appeared in front of his sword and whacked it to the ground with Samehada. The hope in Naruto's eyes faded, but he didn't get enough of time as Itachi lifted him up by the foot and slammed him in the ground.
Naruto let out a shout of pain as he coughed up some blood. Naruto's back was smashed into the ground. Itachi let go of Naruto as well, but he walked up and grabbed him by his throat, "Weak, you're still too weak." Itachi looked over at his clone and Kisame, "No witnesses kill them."
"With pleasure!" Kisame smiled raising Samehada in front of Yui and Eri.
Naruto's eyes widen as he began to struggle even with Itachi's hand crushing throat, "ACK! NO! YOU SO! ACK Hnnggggg! LEAVE T-THEM ehhhhhh! ALONE!" Naruto began to smash his arms into Itachi's arm using chakra. Itachi felt the blows on his wrist, so he quickly slammed his fist into Naruto's gut knocking the wind out of him.
Naruto felt the world begin to ring as he began to lose consciousness. Naruto vision began to blur as he saw Kisame finish preparing to kill Eri and Yui, "No! NO! NOT THEM! THEY'RE FAMILY NO! NOOOOOOO!" Naruto gripped himself from passing out, as he used hit last bit of oxygen to shout, "I SAID LET THEM GOOOOOOOOOO!" Naruto screamed out with his eyes turning crimson red with black slits in the middle. A wave of overwhelming power shot past Itachi and Kisame. It was just enough for Itachi to drop Naruto, Naruto ran forward charging at Kisame. He didn't care how tired he was, if his body was aching, Naruto formed a Rasengan in his hand and slammed it into the stunned Kisame. Naruto then ran at Eri and Yui as Itachi's clone was stunned as well. Naruto kicked it in the chest causing it to disperse, Naruto fell to the ground afterward out of breath. Naruto could feel that Itachi actually crushed his windpipe a bit. Thankfully the nine tails was already onto the healing process.
Naruto made a couple of clones as they both went through a set of hand signs, Earth Style: Hiding Like a Mole Jutsu! Naruto disappeared into the ground along with his two clones carrying Eri and Yui. He had them go back to Konoha to get help, he was going to stay back to stall Itachi and Kisame. Naruto appeared back to the surface with his chakra reserves about half on where they are at now. He used up a lot of it trying to break Itachi's hold on his throat. Naruto got back to the surface go through another set of hands signs, Earth Style: Ground Bedrock! Two slabs of rock shot up and sandwiched Itachi and Kisame.
However, Itachi and Kisame broke easily through the Jutsu as Itachi appeared in front of Naruto again, "This is growing tiresome, I know reinforcements are coming." Itachi's eyes spun into the Mangekyou Sharingan, Tsukuyomi! Naruto was helpless as he fell victim to the genjtusu.
Tsukuyomi
Naruto saw the world around him being red and black. Naruto found himself bound to the ground with ropes on his hands and legs, "Hello there Naruto-kun… it's a pleasure to meet you, for the next 72 hours. You'll continuously suffer." Itachi stated as Tsunade, Shizune, Yui, Eri, Satsuki, Grayfia, and many others Naruto met and became friends with. Even Kuroka, Sona, and Serafall were there.
"What are you doing! Leave them alone!" Naruto began to struggle, but then his ropes were cut free.
"Naruto… do as I say." Itachi stated again as Naruto began to walk towards him as he grabbed a sword from Itachi.
"W-What… what am I doing! I-I can't stop! Stop it! STOP IT!" Naruto could feel the blade in his hand, it was real. It looked and felt so real! Naruto's eyes widen as he walked up to Tsunade, "No… stop it! No! No! STOP IT!" Naruto shouted in horror as he raised his sword into the air as Itachi raised his hand into the air.
"Do as I command Naruto-kun, now do my will." Itachi lowered his hand as Naruto sliced off his mother's head.
Naruto eyes widen in horror and despair as tears ran down his face. Naruto continued to do this repeatedly. Naruto continued until he pulled his sword out of Serafall's dead corpse. Naruto had blood that covered him from head to toe. Naruto had tears running down his face as his entire body shook with grief and pain. Just then Itachi appeared in front of him again. "What's wrong Naruto-kun? Weren't you going to be Hokage? Live up to the Senju name? What's wrong?"
"M-My family… t-the people I care about… you… you made me witness their." Naruto was cut off by Itachi.
"You mean YOU killed them, well anyway it's only been 71 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds Naruto-kun. We got so much more special time to spend together." Itachi spoke once again as Naruto raised his sword as everyone, he just killed reappeared again.
Real World
Itachi and Kisame walked over to the unconscious Naruto, "N-No… s-stay away…" Naruto opened his eyes weakly.
"Oh? To think you're even conscious, you exceed my expectations." Itachi walked over and punched Naruto in his stomach knocking him out, "Alright grab him Kisame, let's go."
"GET AWAY FROM HIM!" CHIDORI! Satsuki came charging in trying to stab Itachi.
Itachi easily dodged her grabbed her wrist with the Chidori and slammed her hand into the ground. The counter disrupted the attack as Satsuki found herself on her back. Satsuki looked Itachi dead in the eyes, "Leave him alone! DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH HIM! I DON'T CARE WHO YOU ARE!"
"She strong just like her mother." Itachi mentally praised his little sister, "Foolish little sister, you're trying to make friends with your friends. What did I tell you to do? Like this, you'll never be able to beat me. I told you to hate me like I've said before. There is no value in killing the likes of you… My foolish sister… If you want to kill me… curse me! Hate me! And live a long and unsightly life… Run away… run away… and cling to your pitiful life. And then someday, when you have the same eyes as I do, come before me." Itachi proceeded to tighten his grip on Satsuki's wrist breaking it.
Satsuki growled at him, deeper emotions began to flood her head, "Shut up! SHUT UP! SHUT UP! I'm not going to be like you! I'm going to be someone better than you! I'll bring you in dammit! I'll DO IT STANDING NEXT TO NARUTO!" Satsuki roared as she brought up her right hand with a Chidori formed without hand signs.
Grayfia charged at Itachi to punch him to get him off of Satsuki, however, Itachi made eye contact with Grayfia. She was quickly placed into a genjutsu and fell to the ground. Itachi barely dodged the attack as Satsuki scraped his cheek surprising Itachi by her attack. Just then there was a loud *CRASH* Itachi quickly slammed his fist into Satsuki's stomach knocking her out. Itachi turned his head to along with Kisame holding an unconscious Naruto on his shoulder.
"YOU! GET AWAY FROM SON NOW! I SWEAR THERE IS NOTHING IN THIS ELEMENTAL NATIONS THAT WILL STOP ME FROM KILLING YOU!" Tsunade roared as her aura flared causing the nearby Anbu and Johnin to take a step back.
Jiraiya who landed next to her slammed his hands down causing the earth to surround them like a box. He then bit his thumb, Summoning: Toad Mouth Bind! The entire box turned into the esophagus of a toad. Itachi and Kisame both found themselves stuck, "Kisame we're leaving we've lost this time." Amaterasu! Itachi burned a hole and ran out with Kisame throwing the unconscious Naruto at Jiraiya and Tsunade.
Tsunade quickly caught Naruto in midair as Kisame and Itachi escaped. Jiraiya was silent as he let the summoning go, "Go, get back to Konoha now! Anbu! WITH ME!" Jiraiya shouted as he took off towards the woods trying to follow them with the Anbu.
Kakashi landed next to Tsunade as he picked up Satsuki and Kurenai picked up Grayfia, "Geez these two." Kakashi shook his head, but he smiled. They both ran in head first deadest on saving Naruto and watching for one another.
"Grayfia… you've changed so much, I'm proud of you." Kurenai made a tiger seal with her hand ready to release the genjutsu.
"Wait, don't do it just yet. Do it when we get back." Kakashi added as Kurenai shook her head in agreement as they took their kids back to the village.
In the Hospital
"SHIZUNE GET THREE ROOMS OPEN NOW!" Tsunade kicked the doors open to the hospital breaking them off their hinges. She did not care that a door slammed into the visitor.
"READY!" Shizune was suddenly surprised and greatly worried as she had a room ready. However, they would have to share a room with the others being occupied or not ready.
Tsunade followed Shizune to the room and quickly placed Naruto down gently as possible. Tsunade already had tears running down her face as she began to take a look at Naruto. Naruto weakly looked up to see his mother. Naruto's eyes continued to open a little bit and continued to shut. Tsunade ripped open his shirt and his pants and began to look around for injuries. She found none and began to run a medical scan, "Those sons of bitch! I'll fucking wring their necks!" Tsunade shouted as she began to heal Naruto's spin and throat.
Shizune did her own, "They crushed his throat! His spine has shards from an impact!" Shizune ran out to prepare for emergency surgery.
"Dammit!" Tsunade placed her head on his head, "He was also placed in a very strong genjutsu!" Tsunade could sense the mental trauma that Naruto was suffering from.
Kakashi and Kurenai came walking in placing Grayfia and Satsuki down. Satsuki was just unconscious as another nurse was called in. Kakashi asked her to heal her broken wrist, Kurenai released Grayfia from her Genjutsu. Grayfia slowly sat up but Kurenai stopped her, "No, sleep you need to rest." Kurenai placed Grayfia back into another genjutsu to let her sleep.
Grayfia heard Kurenai's gentle voice as she laid back down letting sleep claim her, "How is he?" Kakashi asked curiously.
"Those bastards!" Tsunade began to cry, "They crushed his throat, slammed him into the ground so hard. Parts of his spine was shattered; pieces of bone are extremely close to his spinal and nerve cord! I need to go into emergency surgery, I will move him into the surgery room now." Tsuande gently strapped Naruto into the bed so he didn't move, she then rolled him out with a worried look on her face.
Kakashi saw the despair in Tsunade's eyes, the worry, the pain, the absolute horror in her eyes. Kakashi turned to her along with Kurenai as they both bowed their heads taking off their headbands. Tsunade knew what they did as she took her son into emergency surgery.
Later
Tsunade and Shizune both were prepping for surgery getting their materials ready. Tsunade and Shizune were properly dressed and ready, before they went in Hiruzen was there, "Tsunade do you need anything else?"
"Look over the village for me, don't let anyone in. I mean no one, if anyone tries to get in, I don't care who it is! KILL THEM!" Tsunade shouted walking into the surgery room slamming the doors shut with Shizune who already walked in.
The two went to the table with all their gear ready, "You know Tsunade-sama… Naruto might not ever be a Shinobi again."
"TO HELL WITH THAT!" Tsunade wiped her tears as Shizune quickly pulled her into a hug as Tsunade began to break down.
Tsunade needed to cry, she needed to let it out before she continued. There were so many bad memories popping up, Tsunade couldn't believe that Naruto was in this state, "It's okay Tsunade-sama... we can do this, we need to do this for Naruto's sake."
Tsunade collected herself as she took a deep breath and let a sigh out, "Alright… let's do this for Naruto." Tsunade walked towards Naruto as she and Shizune gently sent chakra into his back. They used their chakra control to keep the shards in place as they rolled him on his stomach. They began to attach IVs, breathing mask to increase the oxygen flow in his body. The Kyuubi was doing his job, but the girls noticed that he wasn't healing Naruto's spine. Which in a way was a good thing.
Tsunade held her chakra scalpel in her hand as she shook a bit. Just then Shizune placed a hand on Tsunade's, "It's okay… we're the best of the best Tsunade-sama." Tsunade smiled back as she nodded her head. Tsunade's face turned serious as she made the first incision.
Hours Later with Satsuki and Grayfia
Satsuki slowly sat up in bed as she held her head. She looked around and saw Kakashi looking up from his book, "Ah Satsuki it's good to see you up."
Satsuki rubbed her face while asking, "H-How is Naruto?"
Kakashi simply said, "Tsunade-sama and Shizune took him into emergency surgery. Itachi crushed his throat and his spine was smashed. He was thrown into the ground where shards of his spine was broken off. They're currently in surgery trying to save him."
Satsuki's eyes widen in fear as she held her hand up to her mouth. Satsuki closed her eyes as she thought that Naruto could die, "W-Will Naruto be alright?" Satsuki asked with a worried look on her face.
"I-I don't know… it's the spine so… Naruto could die. That's something you have to realistic about, it's a possibility." Kakashi placed his book away, "I know it's a lot to take it but that's the life of Shinobi. Naruto may never be a."
"Don't say that! Don't even dare say that! He'll pull through! I know he will!" Satsuki yelled at Kakashi angrily with her eyes red and her cheeks red.
Kakashi stopped and just eye smiled, "Well then… it seems you care about him a lot." Kakashi mumbled deciding to stay quiet.
Satsuki stayed quiet as she looked at her hand, it was wrapped up in a cast. Satsuki looked over at Grayfia, "How is she doing?"
"She's fine, just placed in a strong genjutsu. However, not as strong as one Naruto was placed into." Kakashi closed his eyes feeling sorry for Naruto, whatever he was placed into. It definitely was not a fun one.
"How long has he been in surgery for?" Grayfia asked as she laid in bed hearing everything.
"It's been four hours so far, that's how long you two have been out." Kakashi was glad to hear Grayfia was finally up.
Just then the doors opened with Yui and Eri running inside, "Where is Onii-chan! Is he okay! Did he get away from those bad guys!" Eri shouted worried for Naruto.
"Why… why did Tou-san do such mean things." Yui asked with confusion and pain in her eyes. Yui knew of her birth father being Itachi, however, to see him be so cold and ruthless hurt her. He was trying to take Naruto away from her, Yui was upset she was crying. Yui began to cry as she wiped the tears from her eyes.
Satsuki and Grayfia both got up quickly as they held Yui along with Eri, "It's okay… I-I don't know either Yui." Satsuki frowned as Yui and Eri began to break into tears.
"It's okay we're here for you." Grayfia added rubbing her hand on Yui's head. Yui's eyes blinked a few times as he Sharingan unconsciously glowed. Her one tomoe in both her eyes spun as she had two tomoe in her right and three in her left.
Kakashi looked at Yui with hurt and pain in his eyes. Eri as well, seeing Naruto's two innocent little sisters were so upset. Soon Hiruzen and Jiraiya came walking in, "Eri-chan, Yui-chan how are you two holding up?" The gentle voice of the third Hokage asked helping the two girls calm down.
"I want to see Onii-chan! I want him to be okay!" Eri ran up to their grandfather figure as he hugged her back. Yui came running up as well as he coddled them.
"It's okay girls, you're Kaa-chan is the best medic in the world. She'll save Naruto, I know he will." Hiruzen cradled the two as they cried themselves to sleep, "Itachi… did you have to be so rough on Naruto? I know you had to make it look real."
Total of 7 Hours Later
Tsunade came walking into the room where everyone was waiting. Eri and Yui were asleep in the bed with Grayfia and Satsuki respectively, "He'll make a full recovery in two days. The Kyuubi's chakra is helping his body heal quicker, we placed all spine fragments back into place. He'll be able to continue being a Shinobi." Tsuande said with a smile as everyone let a sigh of relief out.
"I'm so glad." Satsuki said with her hands together as if she was praying, "I was so worried… so worried for him." Satsuki let a small tear run down her cheek.
Grayfia was glad to hear he was going to make it, "That's good, he can continue to be shinobi and achieve his dream. Thank you Hokage-sama for saving Naruto, he is very important to me." Grayfia bowed to Tsunade as she smiled back.
"No need you two, I'd do it for anyone. Keep watching over him, if you two haven't intervened I'm scared to think about what could have happened." Tsunade walked over and placed a hand on both of their heads. She smiled, "Whoever makes my boy happy, I hope it's one of you two. If not, both of you keep my boy happy." Tsunade gave them a small smile as she ruffled their heads. This earned blushes from both of them.
"W-When can we go see him?" Satsuki asked with a blush still staining her cheeks.
"Well, when he wakes up, Shizune is currently watching over him. I'm going to go back to his room to watch over him." Tsuande stood up and walked over to Satsuki. Tsunade placed her hand on her wrist instantly healing her broken hand.
"What about that genjutsu Naruto was placed into?" Satsuki added as Tsunade grit her teeth.
"I-I've never seen a genjtusu so powerful before, Naruto has definitely had some trauma… trauma that I've never dealt with before." Tsunade then went over to Grayfia and checked her over, "You're fine it seems the genjutsu you were in wasn't the one Naruto experienced."
"W-What do you think he experienced?" Grayfia asked worriedly.
"Honestly… I don't know." Tsunade said as her eyes narrowed at the thought, "Just not too sure, all I know it was an extreme genjutsu. He was able to resist from being put into a coma."
Soon Eri and Yui began to wake up as Eri rubbed her eyes, "Kaa-chan? Is Onii-chan okay?"
Yui took a second longer as she then saw their surrogate mother, "Kaa-chan Onii-chan will be alright right?"
Tsunade walked over to her daughters with a smile on her face. She pulled the two into a hug kissing their foreheads, "Yes, he will be fine you're Kaa-chan is the best medic in the world after all!"
"Yeah! Can we go visit Onii-chan!?" Yui added with excitement she wanted to go see her big brother and thank him for saving them.
"I need to ask real quick, what did Naruto do to get you out of there?" Jiraiya asked curiously as everyone looked at the two.
"Well… we were training with Onii-chan, we were going to spend the entire day together." Eri adds with a small smile on her face.
"I was still working on my tree walking and Onii-chan saw that Eri was doing super well with tree walking. So, he went to take Eri to train on something else until those two appeared." Yui had a small shiver as she remembered her birth father's cold words, "The shark man and… my birth Tou-san attacked Onii-chan. Onii-chan did what he could to get us away, he tried launching us as far away as possible using a clone to break our fall."
"Then another copy or copy thing that Onii-chan did. That Yui's birth Tou-san grabbed us and held us hostage. Onii-chan did what he could to save us, but the shark man got in the way of Onii-chan throwing his sword." Eri added as his fingers fidgeted, "Onii-chan did what he could but Yui's birth Tou-san grabbed him by his foot slamming him into the ground. Then he grabbed Onii-chan by his throat hurting him. Then I remember Onii-chan yelling and weird energy shot out and we fell asleep."
"That's all we can remember." Yui scratched her head as everyone nodded.
"I wonder if Naruto used that Conquerors Haki that Rayleigh spoke about." Kakashi wondered, maybe Naruto can learn to get control over that. Others wouldn't be effective; besides it was something you had to naturally learn to unlock and learn to control.
"Yeah, well let's go see how he's doing. I want to make sure he's alright." Satsuki hopped off the bed wanting to see the
"Well, when he recovers, we need to get going. The Akatsuki have already pinned pointed Naruto's location we need to keep moving." Jiraiya added as Tsuande nodded her head agreeing, maybe it was a good thing he was leaving. Naruto needed to get strong and quickly, otherwise, he's a sitting duck for the Akatsuki.
The group quickly made their way towards Naruto's room to find him sitting up. Shizune was currently holding Naruto in a hug. Naruto's eyes were bloodshot, his eyes baggy, and his face holding a lot of pain. Naruto looked up and let a sigh of relief out seeing all his friends and family alright. Everything he experienced felt too real, all too real, "You guys… you're alright!" Naruto had more tears run down his face as Shizune was still hugging him.
"Naruto you need to tell them." Shizune said as she gently broke the hug between them, but Naruto grabbed her sleeve again pulling Shizune back into a hug.
"Don't go… don't go… please…" Naruto tears began to run down his cheeks again as his body began to tremble.
Tsunade's eyes widen as she ran over to his side along with Yui and Eri, "Onii-chan what's wrong?" Yui grabbed onto Naruto's shirt as he grabbed Eri and Yui both into a hug. Tsunade quickly wrapped her arms around Naruto.
"Naruto what's wrong talk to us?" Tsuande asked worried for Naruto's mental health.
"So much… so much… blood… bodies… bodies everywhere. It was all of you… you all died… you were killed." Naruto began to tear up again as he shoved his face into his mother's chest crying.
Satsuki and Grayfia were shocked to see Naruto in this state of mind. They've never seen Naruto like this before, it was like her experienced true despair, "Naruto are you alright?" Satsuki slowly walked up placing a hand on his shoulder.
Tsuande began to talk again, "Naruto please talk to me! I need to understand what happened." Tsunade was rubbing Naruto's back trying to get him to relax. His grip was like a vice, she had to take most of the hugging, so he didn't hurt Eri or Yui. Shizune couldn't withstand the strength that Naruto was releasing.
"Naruto please, we need to understand what happened." Grayfia walked next to the family standing next to Satsuki.
Naruto slowly raised his head with his hair covering his face. He still had tears running down his cheeks, "Bodies… you guys… your dead bodies… killed and slaughtered. Over and over and over again… blood on my hands… the weapon in my hands… so much blood… so much death. Sharingan… Tsukuyomi." Naruto began to shake again, but Tsunade placed a hand on his head. She placed Naruto into a sleeping state so he would finally relax.
In pained Satsuki to see Naruto like this, she was too weak to do anything. It angered her as she turned and walked away, "Grayfia we need to talk." Satsuki left grabbing Grayfia's hand leaving the hospital room.
"Onii-chan what do you mean!?" Yui was trying to shake him awake.
"Wait Yui, Kaa-chan wants him to sleep." Eri stopped her.
"Girls, please leave Naruto alone now. He was put under a very powerful genjutsu." Tsunade hand Naruto releases his grip by hitting his pressure points. Even in his sleep, Naruto was still trying to hold something close to him.
"What did that jutsu do to him!?" Yui grabbed onto Tsunade's jacket wanting to know what was wrong with her big brother.
Hiruzen stood off on the side letting a sigh out, he wondered if Itachi had to be so rough on Naruto. Hiruzen looked out the window at the setting sun, "Things are only going to get more and more intense. You need to get strong Naruto, get past this."
A/N: I think that's a good place to leave off! So yeah, there was a halt to the time skip. Not a whole lot was missed, but Naruto will need more time to heal. So, we'll get into the recovery for Naruto later, and then get into the three-year time skip. As for who Naruto's last sensei will be. I want you all in the reviews to guess! Anyways!
