Three Years of Training
Hello and I'm back with another chapter for Bonds of Two Clans! I do have to say that the story has been going quite well! Now, I already talked to some of the people who left reviews. So, I'll just answer then how I answer them in the pms. I'll also answer unanswered pms as well.
Bhuvan Nagaraj.D: this writer is dumb.
TF: I did talk to him through pms and figured things out. He gave me very constructive criticism. I'm sure if you all have issues with a chapter or certain parts of a story. Leave a positive review or don't. No need to go out of your way just to bash an author. It's time and energy unnecessarily spent on, unless you got some reason. I don't mind reaching out, but I do like to try to defend my stories. I mean… when you create something you want to protect it. I don't mind being told what was wrong, what could be fixed, because I know I'm not the best writer out there. I just do what I can and listen to feedback to make myself a better writer.
LUNGH00T: Can you add Temari to the Harem?
TF: Sadly, I will not as it is capped out. Satsuki, Grayfia, Chisato, Kuroka, Sona, and Serafall.
Rey08: This feels kinda rushed.
TF: Ehhhhh I really do try my best to keep it at a steady pace. If you're that far behind in the story. Grayfia and Naruto don't get together like that, it's more than you think.
Rairi Valelira: Used half of chakra breaking out of a handgrip. Meanwhile, there exists a substitution jutsu... just saying. Freaking plot why you make stuff so hard when it can be so simple. Im sure substitution can be used in that kind of situation..
TF: I don't think I changed it because, Naruto was using what chakra he had. Remember he is fighting an Akatsuki member who is an S-Rank Nuke-nin. Even if he did substitute himself, was he going to be able to charge towards Kisame and Itachi's clone? I mean, reasons for what happened had to happen. Besides, Naruto can't take on two S-Rank nins on his own!
Alright! Let's get to it! I won't go down in too much depth, nor will I go over what exactly he does. However, there will be certain scenes I will play out trying to make up majority of the chapter.
Last Chapter
Tsuande began to talk again, "Naruto please talk to me! I need to understand what happened." Tsunade was rubbing Naruto's back trying to get him to relax. His grip was like a vice, she had to take most of the hugging, so he didn't hurt Eri or Yui. Shizune couldn't withstand the strength that Naruto was releasing.
"Naruto please, we need to understand what happened." Grayfia walked next to the family standing next to Satsuki.
Naruto slowly raised his head with his hair covering his face. He still had tears running down his cheeks, "Bodies… you guys… your dead bodies… killed and slaughtered. Over and over and over again… blood on my hands… the weapon in my hands… so much blood… so much death. Sharingan… Tsukuyomi." Naruto began to shake again, but Tsunade placed a hand on his head. She placed Naruto into a sleeping state so he would finally relax.
In pained Satsuki to see Naruto like this, she was too weak to do anything. It angered her as she turned and walked away, "Grayfia we need to talk." Satsuki left grabbing Grayfia's hand leaving the hospital room.
"Onii-chan what do you mean!?" Yui was trying to shake him awake.
"Wait Yui, Kaa-chan wants him to sleep." Eri stopped her.
"Girls, please leave Naruto alone now. He was put under a very powerful genjutsu." Tsunade hand Naruto releases his grip by hitting his pressure points. Even in his sleep, Naruto was still trying to hold something close to him.
"What did that jutsu do to him!?" Yui grabbed onto Tsunade's jacket wanting to know what was wrong with her big brother.
Hiruzen stood off on the side letting a sigh out, he wondered if Itachi had to be so rough on Naruto. Hiruzen looked out the window at the setting sun, "Things are only going to get more and more intense. You need to get strong Naruto, get past this."
This Chapter
Naruto sat on his bed wrapped in bandages from his torso to his hips. Naruto has been recovering for about a couple of days. He would be released today and leaving as well to go on his three-year-long training journey. Chisato was backed up and hasn't been able to see him, but now she had some time. She either only came in to give him a checkup or stopped to say hi. Chisato knocked on the entrance of Naruto's room, "Hey how ya feeling?" Chisato walked over with a concerned look on her face.
Since Naruto's fight, he wasn't the same. He was still his caring, loving, strong, want to be Hokage self. However, there was something bothering him and she wanted to figure it out, "Oh hi Chisato… you on break?"
"Yes, I'm done for the day. Tsunade-sama said I could take the day off. Mainly she is going to be training a few of us under her once you leave." Chisato walked over placing her stethoscope down on the side and her releasing the buttons to her doctor's jacket, "I heard what happen and everyone is worried about you."
"I-I know… it's just… after fighting Itachi and Kisame. I-I realized how weak I really was, I-I'm nervous." Naruto looked down at his hand clenching it, he remembered how he saw his two sisters almost die. It worried him greatly, it scared him, it scared him to no end.
"I see… I might not have known what the experience was like. The genjutsu you were in, the position you were put into. I bet it wasn't easy, traumatizing for you I have no doubt." Chisato turned her head to look at Naruto's dimmed blue eyes. A pair of eyes that looked much better when he was in high spirits. Chisato stood up and walked in front of Naruto.
Naruto looked up confused at her, "Chisato what are you?" Naruto was cut off, *SLAP* "OW!?" Naruto began to nurse his sore cheek, "What was."
"They're alive, aren't they?" Chisato folded her arms under her ever-growing chest.
"Yeah, they are… it's just that they." Naruto was cut off once again by Chisato.
"They're safe because you didn't give up! Don't you dare give up Naruto." Chisato had a disappointed look on her face looking at Naruto.
"W-What? I-I didn't I was able to save them and all its." Naruto still didn't know why he kept shaking and why he felt so nervous.
"You wanted to give up, didn't you? You wanted to completely sacrifice yourself to save them." Chisato raised an eyebrow as Naruto eyes met the floor. Chisato knew this wasn't the same Naruto she met in the Land of Waves, "How pathetic! How do you think your mother would have felt? Jiraiya-sama? What about Eri and Yui? How would they feel knowing their big brother died to save them?"
"I-I know! It's just that… I didn't want them to get hurt." Naruto was hit over the head by Chisato again with an annoyed look on her face.
"You don't get it, you idiot! That's the wrong mentality to always have! Don't go into every fight always ready to die!" Chisato sat down next to him pulling Naruto into a hug with his face meeting near her already well-developed chest, "Don't you see that diving headfirst ready to give your life up isn't the right thing to do? What were to happen if your sister ever needs you again? You died the first time, there isn't coming back to save them Naruto.
Naruto stayed silent not saying much of anything. It was true Naruto would have done that. All he had on his mind were to get them away to safety. Completely disregarding his own safety, which is a very noble and brave thing for him to do. However, if Chisato has learned anything from the Land of Waves. Chisato said, "The time for war has not yet come, but it will come, and that soon; and when it does come, my advice is to draw the sword and throw away the scabbard." That's from Stonewall Jackson, a story I read on a general. So, don't go dying needlessly when there isn't even a war."
Naruto looked at Chisato and felt like something changed inside of him. He had a grin appear on his face, "I-I know… you're right but I had to save Yui and Eri. Maybe diving headfirst and willing to die all the time isn't the best way to approach things. However, that won't stop me from wanting to protect what's important to me!" Naruto tightened his fist as he felt his spirit return to him.
"How can you protect what's precious to you if you're dead?" Chisato added wisely which Naruto nodded his head back at her, "Train hard these three years Naruto and grow strong. Make sure to come back to me… please." Chisato wrapped her arms around Naruto as she shook.
Naruto was a bit shocked finding Chisato beginning to tear up. Chisato was good at hiding her emotions and bottling them up. However, she was at her limit her almost learning that he almost died. Was kidnapped, and almost paralyzed from the neck down. It scared her, she really cared about him, "I-I'm sorry Chisato… I won't ever do that again. I promise that I'll come back to you, to Yui and Eri. To Satsuki, Grayfia, Kaa-chan, Sumo, Tonton, Shizune-Nee-chan, Jiji-san, the rest of us Rookie Genins… and even Ero-Sennin." Naruto looked up meeting eye to eye with Chisato. He had a foxy grin appear across his face giving her a thumbs up, "I promise that I'll come back stronger and better than ever! I'll never let anything drag me down again like this! I'll push hard, train hard, and fight hard as well! I'll make sure I come back to everyone no matter what!"
Chisato let a small sigh of relief out, she smiled placing a hand over her heart. Chisato lost her parents at a young age, it's a reason why she loved and hated her parents so much. Yes, her parents defended the hospital to the very end from Gato's tyranny. She hated them because they left her alone and so quick. Not caring for their own lives when they laid down theirs. However, she also loved them because of their courage, fearlessness, and tenacity to do what they thought was right. "You idiot don't do that again to me… I literally came here just for you. I hope I can get my feelings to you." Chisato internally blushed without her cheeks turning red, "I'm glad to hear it, so take care Naruto. Come back strong, I can't wait to see how handsome you'll become in three years."
"You know I will! I'll be training with Yamato-sensei and Ero-Sennin. Then Jiji-san is asking a personal Anbu of his to help train me. I even learned that the Anbu is a special covert Ninja who is also one of Ero-Sennin's contact." Naruto had a smile adorn his face as he thought about his training. He made sure to keep that resolve he had, "There will always be someone stronger… that means I need to continue getting stronger right?"
"Yes, it does, you know what you've learned from this?" Chisato asked just wanting to make sure Naruto was getting the message.
"Yeah, I do." Naruto stood up next to Chisato, she was only a couple inches taller than him. Because she was a couple of years older than he was, "I'll make sure to work hard, train hard, and make sure I come back every fight I get into."
"Good, you know how upset everyone would be if you didn't." Chisato walked over handing Naruto a set of new clothing, "Tsunade-sama asked me to give you this, it's a new outfit."
Naruto accepted the outfit taking a good look at it. It was a simple grey shirt with a fishnet mesh to be worn underneath. The shirt was sleeveless, however, there were separate sleeves to slip on with forearm guards. A pair of blue pants, shinobi combat shoes, gloves, and holsters, "Thanks Chisato, I'll go change."
Chisato waited for Naruto to come out, it didn't take too long as he came out tightening a glove to his hand, "Hey since you're on break you want to get something to eat? I'm starving!" Naruto added a big grin on his face.
Chisato nodded her head, "Yeah sure why not!" Chisato and Naruto began to catch up with one another passing Asia in the hallway.
"Yo Asia it's been a while how are you doing?" Naruto hasn't seen Asia in a while he was glad to see her doing well.
"Naruto! Chisato! It's great to see you guys! I've been doing great! Tsunade-sama and Shizune-sama have been great!" Asia was quite happy to see Chisato and Naruto together, she's been so busy. She herself has been busy getting to know other people around Konoha.
"Yo Naruto, great to see you up and going!" Everyone turned their head to see a boy walking up to them.
"Huh? Kiba? What are you doing here?" Naruto raised an eyebrow surprised seeing him here.
"Well…I… uhh ya know here to visit a friend of mine." Kiba began to sweat a bit not knowing what to say.
Naruto turned his head to Asia and saw her nervously looking at the ground. Naruto chuckled a bit shaking his head, "Well it was great to see ya Asia, but I gotta get going. Chisato and I are going to get a bite to eat." Naruto began to walk with Chisato, "Kiba… take good care of her you sly dog." Naruto said with a smug tone elbowing Kiba in the side.
"Really?" Kiba didn't like the pun that Naruto purposely threw in.
"See you two later, treat her well Kiba." Chisato waved sweetly to Asia as she waved them bye. However, Kiba felt the intense glare from Chisato telling him not to hurt Asia. Once the two left Chisato eyes glanced towards Naruto, "So you got any idea what you're going to be doing for training?"
"Hmmm, I'm not too sure." Naruto placed his hand under his chin, "Well I'm curious in looking into Fuinjutsu, work on my jutsus and make them stronger." Naruto saw some of the civilians waving to him. He mindlessly waved to them while trying to think, "Maybe figure out a more rounded fighting style in case if I lose my sword. Improve my swordsmanship too actually, but I saw how much I was lacking in hand to hand. At least I felt like I was, that Kuroka girl from Kumo was really good at hand to hand. She was also really fast; I was wondering if there were seals for heavier weights. Maybe even some seals that restrict one's movement, so I can increase my reflexes too." Naruto closed his eyes trying to think critically about this.
"I see, well I'm not that great with training or telling what to train. So, I'll leave that to you." Chisato giggled a bit as she wondered, "I do have to ask though, what do you plan to do once you get stronger?"
Naruto smiled knowing what he wanted, "Well it's not that easy to think about honestly. Do I really want to sit behind a desk and work all day? While I could out there.. defending the village?" Naruto looked to the side and saw a group of kids playing with one another, "However, I do want that to be protected." Naruto saw the kids running around playing tag, "I want Yui and Eri to grow up without having to worry about. Granted if they want to be Shinobi, I want to make sure I'm strong enough to be there for them. I also want people to see me for me, not as my other family. Granted my relatives were amazing, but I want everyone to know who I am. Me for me not as Naruto Senju."
"I see, with your family being Kages I can understand how you feel. I'm glad you have a goal like that set-in mind. I have no doubt you'll be able to do that, to met and Asia. You're already your own person Naruto, I recognize you as you." Chisato added with a warm smile adorning her face which caused a blush to appear on Naruto's face.
Naruto rubbed the back of his head with a small smirk on his face, "Ahaha thanks Chisato that means a lot, I knew you'd be great additions to Konoha. My Kaa-chan tells me that you two are amazing even though you're not Shinobi." Naruto gave her a thumbs up, "I can't wait to see how far you'll go under her."
Chisato nodded her head, "Yeah, I'll promise to work hard. I might not be a fighter, but I can do my part in trying to save as many lives as possible." Chisato found herself feeling a weird sensation in her stomach. Her heart began to even beat faster when she was alone with Naruto.
The two made their way to a place to eat. The Golden Leaf, a fancy and classic restaurant anyone can eat at. They went to the classic side but were given the option to go to the fancy side. The owners even offered them themselves when they recognized Naruto. Naruto wanted to decline but was left little chance. Everyone heard his contribution to the win over Suna, along with aiding in forcing Orochimaru to retreat. It was well known that Suna was tricked by Orochimaru so, they left Naruto little room to argue.
Granted the two ordered simple meals, nothing too crazy, the two just talked and enjoyed one another's company. Naruto learned that the other girls back at Land of Waves have been doing very well. They kept up with his training regimen and kept practicing, they've been able to heal all sorts of people. Before they knew it Jiraiya and Yamato came looking for Naruto, "Woah wait a second Yamato." Jiraiya saw from the window that Naruto was in the restaurant with Chisato.
"Oh, Naruto with a girl huh? Grayfia, Satsuki, that cat girl from Kumo, how many more?" Yamato was pretty impressed with Naruto's ability to get a girl.
"Dang, the kid has got some really taste in woman! I swear he's luckier than Minato was geez!" Jiraiya chuckled grinning from ear to ear, "Now we know where he went to, we got another couple hours before we're even going." Jiraiya left towards the gate, he was glad that Naruto was out of his funk. Satsuki and Grayfia were in the same pickle, but they would come around later. However, it was Naruto who he was concerned about. Then seeing him happily talking to the girl he just saw with Naruto. He assumed that he had everything figured out.
Back with Naruto and Chisato
"Then you guys came along and saved us from Gato's tyranny. They've been my family for so long, so I just see them as sisters. I do plan on going back to see them for a week, Tsunade-sama has given me the time off. Asia is joining me as well; we just have work for another couple of days." Chisato finished her last bite of her sweet and spicy chicken placing her chopsticks down.
"That's great to hear, I know Eri and Yui will be upset that I'll be gone for a bit. But hey, I know they will do their own training as well! I can't wait to see how much they'll grow. Grayfia and Satsuki too, I was thinking of taking Sumo with since she is a hound dog. However, I don't know if she is cut out to be one. If anything, she's been a real sweetheart, staying by Eri and Yui as often as she can." Naruto thought back to their ninja hound they adopted into the family. Naruto looked out the window and looked up at the sky. A smile appeared on his face he turned his head back to Chisato, "Yeah, I'd do anything for them, and this village. I don't why but I have the burning desire to protect what I consider precious. It's what Haku taught me, something I make sure I hold up to the highest degree."
"That's great, I can't wait to see you in a few years. To see how much stronger, you'll grow." Chisato added while preparing to leave along with Naruto, "Well I should be getting back to my apartment to rest up."
"Let me walk ya home at least, it has been great to catch up with you ya know?" Naruto stood up and left a tip, the owner even told Naruto the meal was free.
"I think has been too, I understand you've been busy. Training and protecting the village, but do try to visit a bit more." Chisato added with a hint of hope in her voice which Naruto proceeded to nod his head.
"You betcha! I'll make sure to stop by more!" Naruto said with a grin appear on his face, but then Chisato jutted in.
"When I mean visit, I don't mean visit almost half dead!" Chisato said sternly pointing a finger at Naruto.
In defense Naruto put his hands up, "Y-Yeah you got it Chisato, I'll make sure to try harder." Naruto was sometimes scared by her, but he knew she meant well. The two came up to her apartment, "Alright we're here it was great seeing ya Chisato. Thanks for helping me out in the hospital!"
"Hey don't worry about it, besides it's the least I can do for the hero of the village." Chisato added the last part which made Naruto deadpan.
"You know I don't like that." Naruto tilted his head in defeat making Chisato giggle.
"I'm just joking, but you better watch it Naruto. I've heard a lot of the female population have been eyeing you." Chisato winked at him and went to go inside, "See ya around Naruto." She went to go inside.
Naruto turned to leave, "Yeah see you in a few years Chisato." Naruto went to go see Yui and Eri before he left. Most likely Satsuki and Grayfia would be there too. However, he felt a hand grab his shoulder turning him around. He saw Chisato really close to his face, "Chisato what are you?" Naruto's voice was muffled when Chisato placed her lips against his. Naruto couldn't help but let her do as she wished. Naruto's eyes were wide at the kiss, and Chisato during the kiss slowly opened her eyes. Naruto didn't mind kissing back as he stared into her green eyes.
Once they broke apart Chisato smiled as she took a piece of her hair and pulled it behind her ear, "I also heard about you needing to rebuild your clan." Chisato had a blush appear on her cheeks, "There were two reasons for joining Konoha Naruto. One was to send money back to my sister, and also… to get closer to you." Chisato smiled standing back up to her height and went to the door of her apartment. Before she went in she turned her head and said, "I can't wait to see how handsome you'll be in three years." Chisato winked as she disappeared into her apartment.
Naruto was left there dumbfounded as he felt the kiss on his lips, "She tasted like BBQ sauce… man…" Naruto had a million thoughts running through his mind. There were Satsuki and Grayfia, and that Kuroka girl from Kumo. Granted he hardly knows her, he'd worry about that later. Just then he felt someone approach from behind him, "Oh no." Naruto recognized the charka signature.
"HEEEEEEEEY THERE NARUTO!" Jiraiya had a pervy grin on his face while placing a hand on Naruto's shoulder.
"NOT NOW ERO-SENNIN!" Naruto growled out which Jiraiya continued to chuckle, but he decided to no pursue what he saw. He already got great notes about what he just saw anyways.
"Mah, mah no need to get too tense about it. Anyways, we should get going soon. We'll meet everyone else at the gates. Yui and Eri are going to be upset if you don't show." Jiraiya began to walk towards the gates with Naruto letting a sigh out, "At least Yamato will be there. I can have some sort of regular adult conversation, rather than having to listen to Ero-Sennin's pervy books and his research."
Front of Konoha Gates
Naruto jumped from the roofs landing in front of his family. Eri, Yui, Tsunade, Shizune, and Hiruzen were standing there. Along with Kakashi, Satsuki, Grayfia, Irina, and Yugao were there, "Woah didn't think so many of you would be here." Naruto was a bit surprised to see Kakashi and Yugao. Then again, they were his senseis.
"Well, we all wanted to see you, getting one last good look at ya. Before you turn all adult-like." Irina added with a cocky yet innocent tone in her voice, "Make sure to train hard, otherwise, I'll end up passing you up."
"Hey, don't get so confident yet! I'll make sure to get even stronger! I'll refine my techniques!" Naruto retorted back; he knew that Irina had he had a competitive streak. Naruto shook his head and held up his fist, "Yeah… we should have a spar once I get back."
"Can't wait till then! Get strong!" Irina returned Naruto's fist bump. She then took a step back letting the others get their turn.
"You better keep up on your sword training. Otherwise, she will surpass you." Yugao nodded her head with s smirk adorning it.
"Hey, no way! The training you taught me along with Yamato-Sensei! I'll come back even better!" Naruto gave her a thumbs up, Naruto turned his head as Yui and Eri ran up. They couldn't resist grabbing onto their big brother.
"Please don't go Onii-chan!" Yui smooshed her face into the lower part of Naruto's shirt.
"Yeah, we don't want you to leave! We like having you around!" Eri had some tears in her eyes as she looked up at Naruto.
Naruto placed his left hand on Yui and right on Eri, "I know, I know you two don't want me to go." Naruto knelt down to their heights as they hugged him tightly. Naruto smiled hugging both of them, "I need to do this so I can get stronger." Naruto gently broke their embrace and continued to smile, "It's so I can protect you two, like what happened not too long ago. There are people stronger than I am, I've known that for a while. However." Naruto took a deep breath and let it out, "There will always be someone stronger than I am. People are always going to keep trying to hurt me or this village. So, it's my duty to protect it and keep getting stronger."
Yui and Eri both nodded their heads, "Like I've said before Onii-chan! I'm going to be a Shinobi too like you, Kaa-chan, Tou-san, Grayfia-Nee, and Satsuki-Nee!"
Eri looked at her own hands and said, "I do too! I want to be just like Kaa-chan! I'll be a combat medic! I want to be able to be strong too! Like you!" Eri said with determination.
Naruto let a soft chuckle out while rubbing both of their heads, "Train hard, listen to what Kaa-chan and Shizune-Nee tell you. As well as Satsuki and Grayfia if you train with them." Naruto stood up, "I expect to see you two have grown a lot in three years' time. I'll send gifts for your birthdays while I'm gone. So, make sure to train hard. Now I need to say goodbye to the others." Naruto ushered them as they went to stand by Irina and Yugao.
"You better come back strong; I'll get stronger too." Satsuki walked up to Naruto nervously as she made eye contact with him, "I."
"I get it Satsuki, I'll come back stronger. We'll bring Itachi in together Satsuki, that's a promise." Naruto smiled as Satsuki walked up and gave him a hug. Naruto hugged her back warmly allowing Satsuki to embrace him back.
Once the two broke their hugs Satsuki blushed, "H-Hey Naruto."
Naruto was going to continue to Grayfia, but Grayfia walked up next to Satsuki, "Ummm what's up with you two?" Naruto tilted his head confused; Naruto saw his mother facepalm along with Jiraiya.
"Don't you get it? Geez, I guess it's with all guys isn't it." Satsuki let a low sigh out as she smiled at Naruto. She walked up close to Naruto placing a hand on his cheek.
"No… I do know." Naruto added as he closed his eyes and placed a hand on his cheek where Satsuki placed hers. Naruto gently removed her hand and placed a hand on her cheek. Satsuki began to blush with Grayfia looking a bit envious. He looked at Grayfia and then Satsuki, "I know how you two feel, what you're thinking about." Grayfia and Satsuki both stayed silent as Naruto spoke to them, "As for now… why don't we wait until I get back. We're still Shinobi and we need to focus on that. However, I have no issues trying once I get back. Besides we have other things to worry about." Naruto scratched his cheek nervously, "What I'm trying to say is I want some more time to think about this. I don't know how I uhhh feel about having multiple partners just yet." Naruto having a… harem is what one would call it. Was a difficult thing for him to accept or go along with.
Grayfia and Satsuki nodded their heads with understanding, "I see, I'm glad you're thinking about this maturely and with seriousness." Satsuki added with a smile, "I just want you to know that Grayfia and I are okay with it. We've talked about this already, we're here for you when you decide."
Grayfia walked up with her own blush as she looked at the ground for a moment. Then she looked back up at Naruto's eyes, "I-I'm not even too sure myself on how to say this. All I know is I'm still sorry for what I've done. I know you forgave me, but I've yet to forgive myself." Grayfia gave Naruto a hug which he gladly returned the hug. The two broke their hug with Grayfia saying, "I want you to know that I really have been thinking a lot. Before I thought I was just a person to live and obey. I didn't think twice about how others felt or thought… until I've met you. You changed me for the better, for that I can never thank you enough for it."
"Hey, don't you fret about it, I'm glad you changed. It's never too late for someone to change, I'm proud of how far you've come. Just keep getting stronger Grayfia, that's all I can ask of you. I promise like I've promised before. I'll be there for you and protect you when you need it most." Naruto placed a hand on Grayfia's head giving her a head pat earning a blush from her, "That same rule applies to you Satsuki… Irina too. You're all my friends my comrades, people that I'd gladly fight for." The looks on their faces were happy, but a little worried, "Don't worry about that… another friend scolded that about me. She told me that she wants me to always return from my fights. I promise to do that as well, that's why I'm training to get stronger. So, I can come back to you all."
"Train hard Naruto we all expect great things out of you!" Kakashi added with a smile on his face. Naruto forgets sometimes that he fixed Kakashi's left eye, allowing him to turn the Sharingan off and on.
"You got it! Train Satsuki and Yui well! I know you can!" Naruto sent Kakashi a big grin, but Kakashi read the grin. He saw a sick evil smile on it which made him shudder. It was basically, don't read smut or try anything with Yui or Satsuki.
Tsunade listened to Naruto's conversation with the others. To say, she was really happy that he came to Konoha. There were morals and principles he could only learn here, he learned them through these girls, teachers, and her perverted friend. That's all Tsunade could ever ask for, if for Naruto to learn and grow. This was the biggest leap for himself, she remembers it yesterday when Naruto was just a bundle of joy. When she was her little baby, "Oh Naru-chan." Tsunade had a tear run down her cheek.
"He's sure has grown up hasn't he Tsunade-sama?" Shizune let a small giggle out while holding Tonton and Sumo by her side.
"Oik!" Tonton replied.
"Arf!" Sumo barked out.
"He has." Tsunade replied as Shizune and herself both walked forward towards Naruto.
Naruto turned to them with a giant grin on his face, "Well it seems this is it huh? Three years I won't be here! Three years of making your lives actually interesting!"
Tsuande had a smile on her face, but then it broke while a tick mark grew on her forehead, "WHAT?!" Tsunade grabbed Naruto pulling his face into her chest while giving him a hard noogie, "What you say you little brat!?"
"You heard me ya old hag!" Naruto joked as the two Senju members began to laugh in each other's hold. Naruto looked over as he extended his arm out, "Shizune, Eri, Yui get in here!" Shizune got into the group hug with Yui and Eri joining in. Jiraiya smiled, "I can't tell you all enough how much you all mean a lot to me. I promise once I get back I'll be even more amazing!"
"Yeah, yeah don't get ahead of yourself. Just because Jiraiya and I trained you it doesn't mean you should get in over your head Mr." Tsunade retorted by flicking Naruto's forehead.
"Hey, I know that!" Naruto closed both of his eyes annoyed by his mother's words. He let a sigh out as he scratched the back of his neck. "Yeah, yeah I know it was made clear. That's why I'll get stronger for the threat that will face me once I'm older."
"I know you can do it, you're my son. I'm proud of how far you've grown and how much you've changed. Coming here was the best thing for you and the most annoying for me." Tsunade's eye began to twitch thinking about the paperwork when she gets back to the Hokage office.
"Mah, Mah Tsunade-chan you fit the position perfectly!" Hiruzen chuckled, he was glad he didn't have to worry about paperwork anymore.
"Oh, the paperwork that's right… hey Kaa-chan, why don't you just use a shadow clone to help out?" Naruto added confused on why none of the other Kages ever thought of this.
"Ohoho? Seems Naruto-kun figured it out before he even became Hokage." Hiruzen lets a chuckle out which Tsunade froze at. Hiruzen then froze himself, "Wait… WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT!" Hiruzen fell to his knees in despair.
Tsunade grabbed Naruto pulling him into a tight hug. Which Jiraiya said, "Lucky brat."
Tsunade was cheering and thanking Naruto for the wonderful idea. She continued to kiss his cheek while hugging him tightly. Once she placed him down, she grinned evilly, "Now I can take down my strongest nemesis!"
Naruto deadpanned as he shook his head. Naruto placed a hand on Tonton and Sumo, "You two look after Yui and Eri for me okay?" Sumo whimpered a bit as she licked Naruto's face. Tonton just Oink nodding affirmatively.
"Alright we should get going, I'll make sure to train this kid to be a top-notch Shinobi!" Jiraiya rubbed his finger under his nose with a smirk on his face.
"You better train him well!" Tsunade pointed aggressively at Jiraiya who raised his hands in defense.
"Come on Tsunade-Hime I know that!" Jiraiya chuckled nervously, he was hoping to get some research done.
"Don't worry Hokage-sama I will do what I can to keep him focused." Yamato bowed to Tsunade who thanked him by nodding back.
"Well let's be off Naruto! Training to become the best Shinobi begins now!" Jiraiya began to march off with wide strides.
Naruto let a sigh out, "This is going to be a long three years." Before Naruto left to go Tsunade threw something to him, "Better not lose this Naruto, this was Hashirama-Jiji's and Tobirama-Oji-san's personal jutsus."
Naruto was grinning with excitement, "You got it Kaa-chan! I'll make sure to master them!" Naruto began to run up next to Jiraiya while waving to everyone else, "See ya, everyone! Stay safe and take care!"
Time Skip A Year
Over the course of the first year of Naruto's training revolved around him polishing his jutsus. Yamato helped him refine his current wood-style jutsus. Along with his water and earth style jutsus. Naruto took to learning the new jutsus to a sponge in water along with Naruto's new hobby he looked into. Jiraiya taught him the basics and Fuinjutsu, in Naruto's downtime he works on Fuinjutsu on his own. The main reason he wanted to work on his Fuinjutsu was his Uzumaki heritage. He knew of the Uzumaki, so learning it was interesting for him to take a look into. Also, his father's Hiraishin. Granted it didn't require a vast knowledge of Fuinjutsu with the Hiraishin. As it was mostly aligned with Summoning, which Naruto also worked on.
It took a while, but Naruto got up to mastery level 4 of Fuinjutsu within the first four months. He learned it quicker than Minato did when he learned from Jiraiya and his friend Kushina. Naruto continued to work on his Kenjutsu with Yamato and his Taijutsu with Jiraiya. For the next year and eight months, Naruto continued to hone his skills. Ranging from jutsus, to taijutsu, kenjutsu, Fuinjutsu, and some genjutsu. He can dispel high-level Genjutsus easily but only cast low weak ones. However, they were effective to the point anyone would have a hard time detecting them. Naruto continued to keep working on chakra control refining it like crazy.
The different exercises he would do were stupidly insane. Even better than his mother's perfect chakra control. Naruto began wetting chopsticks together; he would send charka through the water. Keep the chopsticks connected by using his chakra only. He would do this as long as he could, he does it when working on his Fuinjutsu. He had a clone hold the paper in place, while he wrote and worked on his chakra control.
Naruto was a water natural, his ability to manipulate water grew exponentially. Jiraiya would dare say his control over the element was either on par or very close to the Nidaime Hokage. Naruto made sure not to slack on his wood, lighting, wind, and earth affinities. He learned a few jutsu but wind he has the least amount. Mainly due to Asuma and Hiruzen being the only really known wind users there.
What Naruto is Doing Right Now
"ARRRG! Come on!? I don't understand this!" Naruto slammed his head on the desk while dropping his brush.
"Don't give up yet kid! You're only a beginner… okay at least intermediate by now. You're a Fuinjutsu level 8 within a year. Granted it's been slow, but you'll get there. Remember the Hiraishin is closer related to Summoning than Fuinjutsu." Jiraiya rolled out Minato's formula for the Hiraishin.
Yamato sat there with his legs crossed not being of much help, "I know! It's just… how the hell does he summon himself from one area to another? To make it instant at that!?" Naruto sat up closing his eyes while crossing his arms over his chest, "How did he summon himself to other places while he already had a seal with him! He must of have figured out a way to do it." Naruto looked over at Minato's seals for the Hiraishin, "Tou-chan's technique formula appears to say 忍愛之剣, made up of the kanji for "endurance" (忍, nin), "love" (愛, ai), "of" (之), and "sword" (剣, ken). So, do I need to perhaps I need my own formula first?"
"I think that would be a great start. However, even with just those seals. How could he get them in conjunction to work together?" Jiraiya couldn't even think about the genius Minato had behind the jutsu.
"Hmmm, I don't know maybe he made it where it was automatic?" Yamato added in which Naruto and Jiraiya looked at him stupidly. Yamato shrugged his shoulders, "Hey I'm trying what do you want me to do!? I don't know anything behind Yodaime-sama's technique!" Yamato turned around letting a huff out while crossing his arms over his chest.
Naruto thought about what Yamato said, "Wait a second…" Naruto went through a set of hand seals, this time without the use of blood.
"Naruto what why are you summoning." Jiraiya just decided to stop and wait to see what Naruto was going.
Before more was Naruto finished the jutsu and slammed his hand on the ground. Nothing happens, well obviously nothing happened. Naruto clicked his teeth annoyingly, "There's gotta be something behind it! You said it works like a summoning jutsu… Yamato said it could be automatic? You think Tou-chan designed the Hiraishin seal… to the personal description of himself. Like a personalized summoning contract? It's activated by your chakra, your chakra only."
Jiraiya's eyes widen and slammed his fist into his palm of his fist, "You know what… you might be onto something Naruto!"
"Yamato-sensei coming in clutch! Thanks for the idea!" Naruto began to write some Kanji thinking about what could describe himself. Naruto wrote down the Kanji for love, (愛, ai). Naruto took a moment and paused as he wrote down the Kanji for family, (家, le). Naruto thought about some more of the seals, "Ero-Sennin you got any other adjectives that would describe me well?"
"How about disrespectful!" Jiraiya shot Naruto a glare at the annoying name.
"HEY! IT'S TRUE AND YOU KNOW IT! KAA-CHAN KNOWS IT!" Naruto shot back as Jiraiya grunted at Naruto's attitude.
"Stupid brat." Jiraiya shook his head trying to think of other adjectives.
"I mean you're hardworking, caring, brave, there are so many kanji symbols you could use. Remember only one described Yodaime-sama. Maybe (愛, ai). Needs to be one that's important. However, the other two were endurance" (忍, nin) and "sword" (剣, ken). Maybe you need more than just three adjectives." Yamato added which made Naruto and Jiraiya think about his statement.
"That does make sense, I did use a sword, so it makes sense. However, endurance I don't know what he meant by that. The kanji for wood (木, Moku) might be a set I could try out." Naruto wrote it down, "Now to think about the summoning part." Naruto bit his thumb and went through a set of hand seals, Summoning Jutsu!
From the puff of smoke, a toad appeared, "Yo Naruto's what up man!" An orange toad smiled.
"Yo Gamakichi! I know it's random, but I need you to go back. I need to summon Fukasaku-Jiji." Naruto had a half-smile on his face feeling a bit bad for dragging Gamakichi out here.
"Ya, no prob! See ya later!" Gamakichi disappeared, Naruto waited a few seconds before summoning again.
Time Skip Naruto's Next Training
"See you guys in a year! Thanks for the training Yamato-Sensei! Tell everyone I said hi!" Naruto waved to Yamato and Jiraiya as they left heading back to the Leaf. Naruto turned his head as an Anbu landed in front of him. The Anbu had jet-black hair that was pulled back in a low ponytail and his face was framed with center-parted bangs that extended to his chin. Naruto was a little on edge and recognized the chakra. Naruto closed his eyes and tried to relax, his body was tense, "Itachi… Uchiha if you're here it means that you're here on no whim. May I ask why you're here?"
The person stood up and took off their mask. The person was revealed to be Itachi Uchiha, "Hello Naruto-kun yes, it is me. I would like to first apologize you when we first encountered one another. I was a little rougher than I thought, but I had to make it look real." Itachi added as he sat down on the rock by the tree.
Naruto let a sigh out, "Alright, let's set up camp then. I got a feeling this is going to be a long talk. I got questions for you. As to why we met at Uzushiogakure." Naruto looked down the path which had the rubble of what was once this village in pieces.
"Well for one we're safe here. Leader-sama knows I went on leave for the time being. I told him I was going to get a cure for my disease. Thus, I needed to go undercover and not be seen with anyone." Itachi closed his eyes and knew Zetsu was unable to latch anything on him. So, they were safe. Thanks to Naruto's Uzumaki blood, they would be able to stay in Uzushiogakure without any issues.
"I see… so you're a double agent for Konoha spying on the Akatsuki huh?" Naruto was able to deduce quite quickly which made Itachi smile and nod his head affirmatively.
"Yes, you're intelligence and deduction skills seem to surpass my own. However, let me fill in the gap. However, I must ask you to keep this from Satsuki until it's time." Itachi then leaned in close to Naruto aiming a kunai at his neck. Naruto nervously gulped as Itachi's personality changed from calm to protective, "Now answer me this, I know if you're lying to me. You haven't done or touched Satsuki at all? If you have, I swear I'll kill you here."
Naruto sweat dropped nervously as he put his hands up in defense, "W-What!? NO! She came at me! We didn't do you know what! W-We just kissed… well more like she kissed me."
Itachi let a sigh out while putting his kunai away. He smiled, "I figured, but I had to test you. You've taken such great care of my daughter. So, I'm not surprised."
Naruto let a sigh of relief out thanking kami that he and Satsuki haven't done anything like that just yet, "Of course I will! Yui my little sister regardless if we adopted her or not!" Naruto smiled looking at his hand, "She is my Imouto, she's part of my family."
"I'm glad to hear that. Thank you for taking her in and giving her a wonderful home. I did my best to try to take care of her when she was a kid and left at an orphanage in the land of waves." Itachi let a sorrowful sigh out, "It must be hard for her… to know that her father was a killer."
"She hasn't learned any of that just yet, but she is interested in who you are. She's only recently learned of you're name and who you were. Not what you've done so I think you got a good chance." Naruto had a smile appear on his which Itachi was happy to hear, but then again it still hurt.
"Well, as long as you tell no one else it's fine. No matter how much Satsuki and the others ask who you trained with. I'll be joining the leaf while staying as an Anbu once Leader-sama makes his move. Godaime-sama will inform the rest of the top Johnins of what conspired." Itachi added with a smile on his face about joining the Leaf once again.
"I see… well I guess we got a long night of ahead of us then?" Naruto stood up as the two-headed deeper into Uzushiogakure. Before Jiraiya and Yamato left they handed Naruto some scrolls on the barrier put around Uzushiogakure. This way only they themselves can enter and leave when they want. Thankfully by then, Naruto was already a master Fuinjutsu specialist. In two years, he made his way up in Fuinjutsu. He took it in like a sponge just like his father did.
Time Skip Year Later Hokage Office
Tsunade and a clone were currently finishing up some paperwork. Even with Naruto telling her to use shadow clones to help with the paperwork. She swore the piles doubled since then, "He should be on his way back here around now. I can't wait to see how my Naru-chan has grown." Tsunade had a smile appear on her face as she found herself humming. Every time her mind wandered to Naruto, she found it easier to do her work. Just then the door opened, "Yui, Eri how many times do I need to tell you! Your Kaa-chan is very busy!"
"Come on Shizune-Nee! Kaa-chan is always more than happy to see us!" Yui chirped ignoring Shizune causing her to deadpan.
Tsunade giggled, "Come on in girls." Tsunade called out.
Yui came walking with a giant smile on her face, "Kaa-chan! Isn't Onii-chan coming home today!" Yui added with an excited look on her face.
"Yeah! Yeah!" Eri ran over to Tsunade's side grabbing onto her.
Tsunade laid back in her chair, "Honestly I don't know it could be today, tomorrow, or even two days from now. All I know is he should be coming soon, that's all I know." Tsunade placed a hand on both of their heads. Eri and Yui both puffed their cheeks out. Tsunade noticed that they both touched their own bracelets Naruto sent them for their birthdays. They were simple, but the bracelets, but the little trinkets meant a lot to the two. Eri has grown considerably in the three years. She as at the right height of 5'2 with her hair down to her shoulders. The horn on her forehead also stayed the same. She was currently wearing a white dress shirt with a frilled collar and a plain red pinafore with two large, golden buttons on either side of her chest. Under this, she wears gray tights and a large set of tan boots, and a small dark red messenger bag with the strap sitting over her right shoulder, and a little floral pattern decorating one of its sides.
Yui has also grown as well to the height of 5'2 with her only being a centimeter or two taller than Eri. Her hair was longer and went down to her hips. She was wearing a pink turtleneck sweater and a black skirt with black shoes. The two weren't in their Shinobi clothing since they're currently off for the weekend.
For Eri's Shinobi outfit is a kimono that Tsunade wore when she was a genin. Eri has her hair up in a ponytail, she has her bang's part just like how Tsunade did when she was a genin. She had a fishnet mesh shirt with a green like lime green kimono. With purple outlines on her kimono where it crosses over in front. She had red armbands on her wrists and a blue wrap that went around her waist with her Kunai holster on her right leg. Under the kimono, she had a pair of red shorts and a pair of blue shinobi sandals. (A/N: Just look up when Tsunade was a Genin you'll be able to picture Eri in that outfit).
Yui on the other hand wore a different attire than Eri. Yui wanting to embrace her Uchiha heritage, without anyone seeing it, she looked towards Satsuki for that. She had a dark blue shirt with a collar that went up a couple of inches. Then a pair of tan shorts with a tan cloth that went on the front and back. With her Kunai pouch on her right leg and a pair of blue Shinobi sandals. (A/N: As to how you can find a picture of Yui's outfit. Use this, sorry if you can't copy and paste this. I hope you all can see this. (naruto-a-través-del-tiempo-data-mikoto-uchiha) Don't add in the parenthesis but try using that to find the picture I'm referencing too!)
"All we can do is wait until he gets back. Anyways how is the academy going?" Tsunade raised an eyebrow making sure her daughters were well behaved.
"Great Kaa-chan! Though…" Yui frowned as she sighed, "It's too easy and boring, we should really do more Shinobi things."
Tsunade chuckled, "We'll work hard and do well, who knows maybe you'll be able to graduate early at this rate." Tsunade ruffled Yui's hair making her puff her cheeks out.
Eri was a little more on the reserved side, "I find it easy too… though sometimes I wonder if I do enough." Eri looked down nervously.
"Eri how many times do I need to tell you. You've been doing just fine! I know you well you're doing thanks to Iruka. You've both been the top Shinobi in your classes, there is another promising student there too isn't there?" Tsunade couldn't remember who the new Genin was just yet. There were a lot this year.
"I-I know I can do it. I'm just a little nervous." Eri looked at her hands which Tsunade then covered her hand with her own.
"You're still the shy girl when Naruto found you at the Land of Waves. Don't fret so much, you both are promising Shinobi." Tsunade placed a kiss on her forehead and pulled Yui's in for one too, "You're still kids… my babies so don't beat yourselves up about it. You got years to grow and years to get better."
Just then there was a gust of wind, which everyone raised their heads up. Shizune eyes widen as she looked at the person who was there. Tsunade's eyes widen as she looked at the person in front of them. Naruto was standing in front of her, "Hey what's up Kaa-chan! Yui! Eri! Look how much you've grown! Shizune-Nee it's great to see ya!" Naruto smiled with a foxy grin appearing on his face.
No longer was the short thirteen-year-old Naruto. Gone was the baby fat that plagued his cheeks and his body. What stood in front of them shocked both Tsunade and Shizune. Naruto stood there with a white Haori on. On his shoulders were also clan marks. He had the Uzumaki swirl on his right shoulder. Then the Senju crest on his left shoulder. The Haori flailed in the wind with blue flames that adorned the bottom of his Haori. Naruto's top consisted of a black long-sleeved shirt with a fishnet mesh underneath. He also had his chunin vest directly over his shirt with it zipped open. He also had a pair of black Shinobi pants with his Kunai holster on his right leg.
"N-Naru-chan is that really you!" Tsuande stood up from her desk in awe and shock. Tsunade made sure to take in every detail on Naruto's face and physic.
Naruto didn't have an ounce of baby fat on him. His whisker marks still on his cheeks with his bright blue ocean eyes. His hair was longer than her originally had it just like how Minato had it. Not only that he had a lean build, while also standing at a height of 5'10. However, his hair in the back was tied into a ball spiky ponytail. He had his Leaf headband on his forehead as well. Naruto chuckled, "What do you think? I had this custom made with a contact thanks to the Anbu who trained me. Jiji-san helped me get this, check this out." Naruto turned around showing the Kanji on the back of his Haori while pointing at it with his thumb.
Tsunade couldn't believe the words she was reading, "Y-You're kidding you didn't learn that! Did you!"
Naruto chuckled, "Yeah I did! I don't know if I'm at Tou-chan's level with it. However, I think I'm pretty good with it." Naruto rubbed his finger under his nose with a giant grin on his face. Then Naruto also said, "Oh! Thanks for the Chunin Promotion while I was away!" He gave her a thumbs up.
Tsunade shook her head and sighed, "I cannot believe you had that made. That's gotta be the cheesiest thing I've ever seen… but also a clever one."
Eri's and Yui's eyes widen as they shot out of Tsunade's hold latching onto Naruto, "ONII-CHAN!" The two shouted in unison.
Tsunade watched Naruto, Eri, Yui, and Shizune began to catch up, hugging, each other and asking how one another are. Tsunade stood up and looked over at Minato's picture, "Minato you had the Yodaime Hokage on your back. You were known as the Yellow Flash. Naruto you idiot… two think you put that on your back." Tsunade walked over grabbing Naruto into a forceful hug which he hugged her back, "I missed you, you idiot." Tsunade began to cry being able to hold her child after three years.
"I missed you too Kaa-chan, I missed all of you." Naruto smiled warmly back placing a kiss on his mother's forehead.
Tsunade giggled, "I guess my little Naru-chan isn't so little anymore huh? However, that still doesn't mean you aren't my baby." Tsunade added with a smirk which Naruto laughed with her.
"Hai, hai I hear you." Naruto put his hands up defensively.
The scene began to zoom out from the door as the Senju family began to catch up. As for my viewers, we see that Eri, Yui, and Shizune blocked the back of Naruto's shirt while Tsunade hugged him. Once she let go Tsunade continued to talk as she went to go sit back down in her seat. Eri and Yui stood on both sides of Naruto holding onto him. Shizune stood on the side with a smile as Sumo and Tonton came running with a lunchbox for Tsunade. Once they recognized Naruto they ran over. Which the viewers lost sight of Naruto's back as he turned around and knelt down petting Sumo's head and picking up Tonton. However, Sumo barked upset which Naruto picked them both up. Sumo isn't any little puppy anymore, she was a full-grown Ninja hound. Which once Naruto picked her up and Tonton. Sumo began to lick his face as everyone began to laugh. Naruto noted how much stronger Sumo seemed. Not only that she had a Konoha headband on her neck.
Once everything began to calm down, Naruto placed them both down, much to Sumo's chagrin. We were finally able to see the wording on Naruto's Haori, Konoha's Second Flash, 木ノ葉のセカンド閃光.
A/N: Alright that's a wrap! I hope you all enjoyed this chapter! I will be incorporating more of Kuroka, Sona, Serafall, and Chisato. As the harem here is being capped off, also for the name I decided on. I-I think someone has come up with the name. Honestly, I didn't know what to do. If you guys have a better name, then shoot me a PM or put it in the review. If it is from somewhere, I AM NOT trying to steal the idea. So, that's why I'm open to changing the name if need be. I mean I even thought about Konoha's Senju Flash but didn't know if that rolled off the tongue very well. So, this is where I am at the moment with this. She's insane actually, she has trained very hard over the threes Naruto was gone. Now relating her to a love interest… I'd rather not because this is already a lot. I mean Grayfia, Satsuki, Chisato, Serafall, Sona, and Kuroka. Yugito was just an option but wasn't picked, so was Temari, but wasn't voted for. Ino is a bit too popular for my taste, Ayame didn't make it, neither did Hana Inuzuka. So, if there's any chance for Irina… idk about that, I guess what you all say about it. In the end, I'll make that choice, but I am leaning towards no, as I think the pairings are fine as is. Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed it! See you all next update! TitanFall007 OUT Ja Ne!
