Harry Potter ends up in America after the fallout from the dinner with the Masons. Features a bad ass! Harry with lots of support and help, from Professor X and Logan who adopts him as his son. Not cannon for either X-Men or Harry Potter, very AU.
Harry went from shocked to enraged in the span of a few seconds. It was then that Vernon Dursley realized his mistake, killing Harry's beloved owl had severed any ties his family might have had to the boy. He saw the pure hatred and rage in the boys eyes and then he was flying down the stairs. He landed in such a way he would never walk again. Harry stormed down grabbing his trunk and turning to the horrified family huddled by the groaning form of one Vernon Dursley.
"From this day forward you are no family of mine, I Harry James Potter do declare a blood feud against house Dursley." Harry snarled.
"After all we did for you…" Petunia started to say.
"After all you did to me." Harry said, "may you rot in hell you bitch."
With that Harry was gone, but he did not get far before a pretty lady clad in a green spandex suit with long red hair stepped up. Harry stopped and wondered who she was. She smiled, and he though of his mother, but she was not his mother at all. Yet she seemed nice enough and anything was better than his aunt and uncle. She held out her hand and Harry walked forward to take it. She led him to a sleek silver jet plane and brought him on board. He stowed his trunk and took a seat shrinking under the harsh gaze of a man in yellow. It was then he broke down in the pretty lady's arms and she held him soothing him as she knew his full story, she had gone into his mind and, since he did not resist was able to learn of his sad life.
"Who is the kid Jean?" Logan the man in yellow asked.
"Harry Potter, we have to get him away from the ministry of magic here, MACUSA will allow him into America." Jean said.
"Why did they hate me?" Harry sobbed.
"They are evil and did not see the good in you." Jean said, "you are a good boy, and you will have a home, and in time will get to write your friends." Jean replied.
"Mutant?" Logan asked.
"No, mage." Jean said, "like me."
"Oh, nice." Logan replied, "well seems a bit scrawny even for a mage."
"Be nice Logan, with good food he will grow up to be a fine young man indeed." Jean replied.
Harry felt safe and was surprised when he was given some food, it was not great, just ration bars but it was far better than what he had been eating. He remembered Hedwig and sobbed but managed to finish his the bar. Then Jean let him curl up by her and fall asleep. She told Logan what she knew of Harry and how Logan could help him. Logan grunted, but she was right, she had helped him heal in more ways than one and his love for her turned from romantic to that of brotherly love. Cyclops or Scott Summers was her one true love and Logan was fine with that now. Mostly due to the fact while he had an amazing healing power he never could have children, with Scott as her husband Jean had two children.
"I could help mentor him." Logan said, "would be good."
"Let's see what professor X has to say." Jean said.
"Come on I am the good older brother, what could go wrong?"
"We will see." Jean said.
She knew he would get his way, she could see in his mind that he really wanted to help Harry. It would be good for Harry in the long run, he had suffered a lot of losses this day. She had already called several people to help out and make sure Harry did not loose any of his family funds or effects and as of now those were going to a secure goblin account in the Canadian Rockies. She smiled as Harry slept curled up by her side feeling secure against her.
Meanwhile in England the minster of magic had to be seen doing something and so he chose the wrong something to do. He made Harry "public enemy number one" and ordered him arrested and thrown in Azkaban on site. This did not sit well with the majority of the populous who on learning why he crippled his uncle and the blood feud which actually stuck as it was just, wanted Fudge out. The fact that the goblins laughed at him when he came for the Potter fortune and told him he was violating the treaty was even better.
Dumbledore made a good political move and got permission from the queen for Hogsmeade Vale to be granted home rule. He then declared the new state a refuge for, goblins, centuars, house elves, dwarves and Harry Potter though he knew the child was not likely to come back. He dearly hoped Harry was safe, he regretted placing Harry with his relations, that had been a mistake. He would make sure that they got what was coming to them though, the muggles would get a lot of information and would end up behind bars for years when he was done with them. He vowed to make sure to take care of the children left in his care and that he would do. Hogwarts would change from then on though Harry would not be there to see it.
Meanwhile Harry woke when the jet landed at professor X's large manor turned school. He walked out yawning and stuck close to both Jean and Logan. He liked Logan, he was short for an adult man, his height in fact though very strong. He seemed to like Harry and though he knew his story did not treat him like he would break, something Harry was grateful for. He walked to the office where professor X was and saw a bald man clad in an expensive suit and tie in a wheelchair. He rolled forward to take a look at Harry who was ashamed of the rags he was wearing and the bruises on his face.
"Hello Harry Potter I am professor Charles Francis Xavier, or professor X. You are at my school for the gifted Xavier Commons, however you are not a mutant." Charles said.
"No sir, wizard." Harry said.
"The majority of the world uses mage." Jean said, "due to respect for other cultures, but you lived in an old society."
"Mage then, is there a magical school here?" Harry asked.
"Yes, America has seven large boarding schools, Ilvermorny is the oldest, then Hawthorn, Magnolia, Oakridge, Yarrow, Sonoran Cactus and Golden Hills." Professor X said.
"It might be best if he went to Yarrow." Logan said, "he has the power and it will be the last place anyone expects."
"Will you go with him?" Professor X asked, "it would be good for you."
"Yea, sure, I need a vacation." Logan said. "What do you think kid? Yarrow is good and you would get a great education, and I would be there. I could be groundskeeper as I don't have magic."
"Yes, you would be there?" Harry asked.
"Sure kid." Logan replied.
Harry grinned, despite what had happened in the last day or so he knew his life was getting better. He would never forget what happened to his first friend nor how evil the Dursleys were. He would go to Yarrow and in time he would heal and Logan would end up adopting him. It was Harry's idea that he take on the Potter name, that his own father would have loved to have a brother like Logan. So Logan became Logan Wolverine Potter and got to know his new brother and sister through their portrait. Harry grew up to be a strong independent and fair young man and he joined the X Crew of mutant and mage superheroes to fight crime.
His relationship with Logan was great, he had a father figure and Logan learned to be a parent. He still grieved for what had happened to him and Hedwig but now he had a family who cared about him. Logan was a good dad, and he even decided to get married, but with Harry's permission, Mystique or known by her birth name of Raven Darkhome had a very rough life growing up. She was adopted by Max "Eric" Eisenhardt aka Magneto and it was this had that helped save both. Magneto had been heading down a very dark path when he met the little blue girl and took her in. He helped her learn to control her powers and she helped him learn to love.
Her mutation meant that she never could have children just like Logan. Some mutants could, many could not she was one that could not. She took to Harry and treated him like a son and he lapped up the attention. He was even happy when Logan and Raven adopted Russell Collins aka Firefist and Rogue both who had powers that were very destructive and tragic in the case of Rogue. Yet Raven was able to help Rogue learn to control her powers and the three children became as close as siblings as they could be. Logan had a very tense relationship with Magneto, he was still not happy that Magneto had not asked him permission before he ripped the Adamantium from Logan's bones, healing him from a slow poisoning that had damaged his mind and would have turned him feral. He was playing chess with Harry when Voldemort sent a message to Harry.
"Ah so ugly wants to fight." Harry said reading the message, "should be fun, but I think I am still a fugitive of sorts."
"Not so, Charles and I managed to get all charges dropped and you have a license to kill." Magneto replied, "oh, well clever move Harry."
"Thanks grandpa." Harry replied grinning as he put Magneto in check.
"I almost became, well more like Grindelwald than anything." Magneto said, "imagine the hurt I would have caused, base-line humans do not deserve to be hurt anymore than my people did."
"Do you still blame God?" Harry asked.
"No, no I was foolish, HE loves all his people and gave the greatest gift that feels like a curse at times, free will." Magneto said, "though I wish he would just smite all the wicked all sickness and pain from the world."
"But then there would be no free will." Harry said.
"You would make a good Jew." Magneto said smiling.
"Thank you, but you know my faith, Catholic." Harry said, "though I will take that as high praise."
"Indeed, Logan must have introduced you to that, I don't mind at all." Magneto said.
"No, not when Russell is Jewish and took his Bar Mitzvah last year, that is what I like about America, you can live how you want." Harry said, "most people don't really care one way or another."
"Well, not here, some places yes, but here it is laid back." Magneto said.
"You spend too much time with Logan grandpa." Harry said, "well guess I better answer this letter."
Magneto was grateful for this second chance, he had several children, one who loved him dearly and had given him three grandchildren. One would follow the faith of his youth, a faith he had gone back to. Sure he argued with God and at one time he had lost his faith when he was in the extermination camps, but then he found Mystique and realized this was a fork in the road, a chance to change. He had, for the better and now though he still hated the dark vile evil and selfish underside of humanity, he felt they were worth saving. He had spent a long time talking with Harry and Logan about their pasts and though Logan was a harder nut to crack, Harry learned much from his grandfathers, yes even Fleamont who loved talking to Magneto too.
Harry answered the letter in as polite a manner, Mystique would get on him if he did not, or sick his sister after him. Once done he had Rogue look it over and she gave him a brief hug of less than thirty seconds, she could do this now as she had that much control over her powers. Then Harry sent his letter off along with one more to send to Dumbledore who had kept up writing Harry after he found out he was safe. The meeting with Voldemort would take place in Hogsmeade Vale and Harry dearly hoped that Deadpool stayed away. He sort of fought on the good side, but he was almost as bad as Voldemort at times, that is if he had any followers. That was Harry's opinion and one that was not going to change.
On the appointed day he headed to the grounds of Hogwarts, he was clad in his new uniform of emerald green and gold and had a superhero name of his own now; Bolt. He stood and waited until Voldemort came up, but then to his great annoyance so did Deadpool. He was not someone Harry liked at all, Logan did his best to rise above his past, to be a better man. Even his jokes had gone from rather crude to more sophisticated and actually very funny. He practiced medication that helped him heal his mind but Deadpool did not. True he was mostly insane but he could control himself if he chose. Harry was planning on taking lives today, there was no way around it as this was war. However he was not brutal about it at all, Deadpool was, even Logan did as little damage as he could when he had to kill.
"Oh he has to be here." Logan said walking up, "hate the way he kills, I used to be as bad."
"But you changed and are the Logan we all love." Mystique said walking up clad in a blue suit that matched her blue skin, "change is good, and change for the better is the best, we can learn from the past but do not have to be weighed down by it."
"Yea, but you have not lived as long as I have, nor done the things I have." Logan replied.
"No, but you have done far more good in your life, adopting me, helping me heal." Harry said, "oh that is not nice language at all."
"No it is not." Captain America aka Steve Rogers said walking up, "no need to be that ugly, even when I found the camps I was not like that, could not be, I was not going to stoop to the level of the Nazis."
"He just does not care he gets hurt does he?" Harry said, then seeing Draco, "oh hello Dragon."
"Hi Bolt, Greenhouse will be, and here he is." Draco said as Neville Longbottom aka Greenhouse came up, "glad he knocked some sense into me and all."
"Where is Library?" Harry asked.
"In the library." Ron Weasley aka Burrowman said walking up, "Mischief and Mayhem will be here shortly."
Harry grinned, he had not lost his friends over in England, in fact after he left they started to train to become superheroes themselves. Their names matched them perfectly, Hermione picked Library before someone could code name her Bookworm. She might have turned villain at that. Neville was extremely good with plants and had laid traps and even had the forest awake to trap fleeing dark forces. Draco was good with fire and Ron was good with earth. What with Deadpool and those four, Voldemort was having a bad day. Finally Harry froze Deadpool after he had managed to attack and wound Voldemort badly.
"Good day to you Tom Marvolo." Harry said, "you don't get to get called Riddle, the family you murdered. Time to face judgment."
"You can't kill me." Voldemort said.
"I was not planning on doing that." Harry said, "no, no there is a worse punishment for you."
"Oh and what is that?" Voldemort said and saw the ball in Harry's hand, "what is that?"
"A gift from Dr. Strange, it is rare, very rare one can take magic from another, you seem magic is alive and does not like to be taken from those who have access to her. Yet you have violated far too many laws of magic and must be punished, so I will remove your magic." Harry said throwing the ball at Voldemort that covered him.
"You can't do this!" Voldemort screamed.
"Can, did, now time to put you in prison for the rest of your life, and you will get to see how everyone else you wanted dead gets to live a good life." Harry said.
"I would have killed him." Logan said.
"That would have been far too kind." Harry replied.
With Voldemort vanquished by Harry before Harry had even turned eighteen, Harry now could live a good life. He had no need to see the Dursleys, Vernon had died and Dudley was in prison for stealing cars and aunt Petunia was well on her way to overdosing on drugs. Harry went home to his new home he had bought the Sculptured house, had it added to the National Registry of Historic Places and put a mild notice-me-not spell on it and moved in. He got married to Sally Ann Perks, had several children and could honestly say he lived happily ever after.
