Greetings everyone, here again with the next chapter!

*NOTE/SPOILER WARNING: It takes place AFTER KHIII*

NOTE 2: Lots of retelling of the experience of "Player" in KHUX, but in Sora's View

.

Notes From Last Chapter In Sora's Point Of View:

Sora soon wakes up to the Station Of Awakening on the Platform of Unions. He experiences the start of the game just like our Union χ character (Player), but he has a slightly different experience. When the shadows inch closer, Sora tries to call upon his Keyblade but it did not come. The shadows nearly swallow him and again he tries in a last attempt to call it, but instead of Kingdom Key, it's the incomplete Starlight Keyblade that comes to his aid. He recognizes it from the Keyblade Graveyard but it looks duller and puny than it should have been.

Another light swallows him and he wakes up at the fountain at Daybreak Town, basically going through the whole process of chi [like the KHχ[chi] tutorial]. There he meets Chirithy and mistakes it for the one in The Final World, to which the Chirithy (girl) has no idea what he's talking about. Chirithy may be knowledgeable and were prepared before being given to Keyblade wielders, but they too still don't know everything. After the fight in town, learning that cards are the way to fight, [attempting to get the card Luxord gave him back from Moogle who ends up giving it back plus more cards that grant him abilities and powers from the future,] and the Darkside fight, Sora eventually learns he is in the Past...

.

Sora awoke after a long night of rest, ready to try looking for a way out of Shibuya once more with Joshua. As he got up, something seemed off about his bedroom. The once cramped little one-bedroom apartment felt much more spacious. Upon closer inspection, he realized this was not his bedroom, at least not the one he remembers. The floors were a white-maple hardwood, and the walls were painted cerulean, patterned with sky blue squares in different sizes while following a grid-like pattern. The room itself didn't have much furniture, only visible things were a light brown chestnut wooden end table on the left side of the gigantic bed topped with a vintage cast iron bridge lamp, a two-seater butternut wooden square dining table with matching ornately carved wooden chairs, a light brown chestnut wooden low wall cabinet topped with a blue table lamp with a rectangular shade, two little lemon-yellow carpets one rectangle the other square, and a wooden photo frame hanging above the cabinet. Over to the right wall from the bed was a small kitchen with eggshell white countertops, cabinets, refrigerator, and sink with a silver faucet. On the right side of the wall was a set of sapphire blue stairs leading down to the lower level, while on the left was a door to what he guessed was a bathroom. The wall facing the bed had another light brown chestnut wooden low wall cabinet topped with a tartan blue table cloth. Finally, the wall on the left side of his bed had two high mahogany-framed bow windows with seat boards wide enough to sit on, adorned with two tartan blue window curtains.

Sora was in awe of this little place, it was filled with a bit more furniture than the apartment Joshua provided him. The view from this room was more scenic, showing a sea of purple roofs, a beautiful sight of the early morning sky, and a mysterious castle-shaped clocktower off in the distance. When he thought about it, there were a lot of similarities to Hollow Bastion, or as it was originally called Radiant Garden.

Sora wondered, 'Did I somehow make it back? Am I in Radiant Garden? If so, The Restoration Committee did a great job! But where are they?'

It was then he remembered the events of the dream and what happened after that day. He ended up in the town square of this new place called Daybreak Town and was introduced to a brand new world. Now that he was here, there was a lot to learn and many questions to ask. First off, how could there be so many Keyblade wielders here in one town? From what he learned from the others like Master Yensid, Master Aqua, and King Mickey, their group was the last of the line since they perished in the first Keyblade War. Next, how about these masters of the unions? What about his new master in this union he joined through a calling? Also, it bothered him that magic and mana didn't recover the same way as before. There were too many questions, he was so absorbed in them all that he didn't notice Chirithy.

"Good morning Sora!"

"Woah!" Sora was startled by Chirithy's greeting.

"I'm sorry Sora, I probably should have noticed you didn't see me."

"It's okay, Chirithy," he smiled sweetly.

"So what were you thinking about this morning?"

"Just about this place. It's just so... different." Sora couldn't think of the right word to convey what he meant. But different really was what this place was. There were many Keyblade wielders here, things worked differently, and something about this place felt more magical and awe-inspiring than any other world he had ever traveled to.

"I understand, you came from another part of the world and are now in a new place starting over again. Also, you have been chosen by the Keyblade through your dive to the heart."

"Dive to the heart?" That sounded strangely familiar to him.

"A term the masters use for when the Keyblade calls them and where your choice of a union first begins."

Sora pondered on this thought. It sounded a lot like his dream from long ago, before the whole event with Destiny Islands being swallowed by darkness occurred, where the Keyblade came to him instead of Riku. Thinking about his friend and the islands made him sad. As much as he loved galavanting across worlds, he missed home, his family, and especially his friends.

His belly grumbling drew him away from his thoughts. Rosy pink blush painted his cheeks.

"Oh, I guess your tummy rumbling meanings you're hungry."

"Yeah, I guess I'm a little hungry," he admitted smiling and scratching his cheeks.

"Just wondering, can you cook, Sora?"

"Well, I've cooked before with the help of my friend, Little Chef, but I don't think I can cook well enough on my own."

Chirithy clapped her paws together and beamed, "Oh, that settles it! This will be the perfect opportunity to show you around Daybreak Town while getting your missions done for today and getting some food to eat!"

Sora tilted his head not sure of what Chirithy meant, "Missions?"

"Every day there are daily missions or quests you have to fulfill. As I explained yesterday, we are gathering light, or as it's called lux, when we fight the heartless to protect from the dark."

"Oh! So if I get these missions done, then what happens?"

"You submit your status and collection to your Union office and get the rewards that are promised for each completed task in your missions. The items you receive can vary from jewels, cards, accessories, and materials for synthesis. Oh, and you also receive munny."

"Cool!"

"Indeed! So I'll let you get ready to go. Call me when you're ready?"

"Yeah!"

After Sora agreed, Chirithy disappeared in a puff of smoke. So he got ready for what the new day and the new world would bring.

[Time Skip]

"Here we are! Welcome to the Starlight Café and Diner!"

The Starlight Café and Diner was pretty simple on the outside. The structure looked like every other house, with the various shades of purple shingles on the roof, the beige stone-colored walls with decorative cobblestone brick slabs. But enter inside and you're greeted to a whole new world. The diner looked like something out of the 1950s era. Puffy neon yellow stool chairs with metal round bottoms, purple and silver-colored booths with yellow and gold tables. Silvery white walls and tables accompanied with light purple high chair stools with silver-white metal bottoms line the back wall by the front windows. Finally a silvery-white counter with yellow stools with silver metal bottoms. On it was an old golden-bronze cash register and a teen girl with red hair done up in a beehive hairstyle. The girls wore uniforms with puffy white sleeves and a simple purple dress with a white apron outlined in yellow stitching on top and embroidered stars. The working boys who were currently busting tables wore white button tops and blue-purple pants with a pure white apron on top. The short sleeves were embroidered with stars instead of the aprons like the girls.

To any passerby, the Starlight Diner was a hidden gem. Since many of the buildings look so similar, you would have a hard time telling the type of business it was unless you took the time to read the sign and go inside.

Sora was in awe, so many young wielders were here for their morning breakfast. He found this place to be rather bright, favoring yellows, purples, silvers, and golds. If he stared too long, it would have made his eyes pop out of his head. While he looked around and took in the sight of the place, Chirithy pulled out a ticket from her pouch and handed it to the clerk. The clerk smiled and motioned to one of the boys who wasn't working to get a menu and find a seat for the new customer. The boy nodded and showed Sora to an empty spot by the window.

"Look at that, you got one of the best seats in the house! Usually, this seat is hard to get, so enjoy it to the fullest."

Sora nodded and thanked the boy. He was about to leave before remembering he hadn't taken the order.

"Oh, that's right, before I forget, what would you like to drink?"

"Hmm... Have any pineapple juice?"

"Right, one pineapple juice coming right up."

"Wait, can you make it two?"

"Sure thing, two pineapple juices it is."

Chirithy sat across from Sora on top of the table, tilting her head and resting one of her arms on it. She didn't understand why he ordered two unless he was thirsty. So she asked, "Sora, why did you order two?"

"One for you and me," he proclaimed as if it was the most obvious answer in the world.

Chirithy was shocked a bit that Sora would order something for her. Most Chirithy didn't eat or drink, but they could if they wanted. She was still pretty new to being a guide and wonder if other wielders let their Chirithy eat or drink like Sora's doing.

"Chirithy, you okay?"

Chirithy snapped out of her thoughts. and looked at him. "Huh? Oh... Yes, Sora."

"Good, cause I just ordered some food for both of us to share."

Sora was interesting indeed. He was very kind and considerate to those around him. Chirithy was indeed glad to be a guide to someone like Sora. Very glad indeed.

[After Finishing Breakfast]

"Wow Chirithy, that was so delicious! Thanks for treating me."

"I agree, that was delicious. Oh and this was a temporary treat from the Masters. New wielders are given about 2 weeks' worth of vouchers for free meals and groceries since you won't have enough munny for either until this week's training missions are done. But even then, I'm sure you'd want to use the munny to fill your empty room. That's why there is about 2 weeks' worth."

"Oh.. I guess that's fair."

"Once you finish training and they let you out of Daybreak Town to another part of the world, then you have to start paying for your food whether to eat out or cook it yourself."

"I get it Chirithy, so I'll do my best!"

Chirithy's eyes smiled at Sora, satisfied with the answer.

"Oh Chirhty, before I forget, thanks for showing me the Diner. It was really good and I enjoyed it." He smiled as he crossed his legs and placed his hands behind his head.

Shyly Chirithy looked down and cooed, "You're welcome Sora."

Indeed, Sora was such a sweet boy and she was looking forward to guiding him through his journey.

Original Notes: I realized this while describing the room, Player has a much more fancy house and dorm room than most of the Union members. Player has these giant windows whereas most others have two small windows and flower boxes outside each of them. Also, Player has an amazing view of the town and the clocktower. I guess the further from the town square you are, the nicer the view and building interior.

New Notes: Now about Sora's cooking, the fact he can cook with Little Chef doesn't mean he can cook as well on his own. Linguini wasn't able to cook as well without Remy either. Sora may have the basic cooking skills, enough to cook fish, rice, and egg dishes (easy common islander dishes). Also, The Starlight Café and Diner has a whole theme based around the Starlight Keyblade and I just thought it would be fun to have a fun spot where Sora will be eating frequently. The reason it's styled like a 1950s American diner? Just because I like the design of those kinds of places. But there's more to this diner, since he hasn't seen the Café side yet.

Hope you enjoyed this part to Sora's Daybreak. If you have any ideas, suggestions, questions, or any comments, feel free to let me know. Thank you so much for reading! See you next chapter! :D
