She has a few years of being evil under her belt by the time the fresh-faced Auror crosses paths with her. But Kingsley Shacklebolt is the first one, the only one to give her pause.
He looks at her with the same bloodlust she feels for others.
It thrills her. She briefly pauses out of curiosity, wondering who she took from him, but that's such an inconsequential thing. What matters is that her heart skips a beat, because she's never met another with such devotion. It very nearly matches hers.
Now…does she tell him or toy with her food?

*lol* Writing Bella is both fun and hard. But it's an interesting twist/premise here, Kingsley pitted against her early in his career only to catch her eye.
